This series means a lot it is it’s something that we we want to take our time and we want to really teach it and really make sure um that we stay in tune if you’re watching today um um we what we’re going to do is um we’re going to share um slides with
You we’re going to talk through the slides together and we’re doing that so that you have an opportunity to to understand where we’re coming from um some of the things we’re going to talk about um today will come from the Bible and then some of the things because um
During our Bible class Bible study Christian education we try to make sure we teach and um now some days we you know God says something different or I say something different because I don’t know if it’s God sometimes I just get excited U but we want to teach you and
So part of this recovery series is it’s important that we look at the whole man we look at the the spiritual man we look at we look at every aspect of the social man we look at the mental man and when I say man I
Mean man and women men and women um but we we want to look at this and so um today um the thing I want to talk about and and I’ve been really just impressed to to talk about this um uh the title of this recovery um part five series um will be
Character as a priority character as a priority it’s important for for us to make sure um that we we look at we look at character and understand that um we have to make sure that there is a priority in this we we we have to prioritize um our lives as as Believers
And understand that one of the most important things we have to do is is get our character in line um this is this is going to be hard for us because um a lot of us need to slow down um and make sure um that we we work
Our character as part of our spiritual walk um the the the opening verse that I want to use today um comes out of Proverbs it says a good name is to be chosen rather than great riches loving fav favor rather than silver and gold uh you know
I want to talk about myself and and be honest with myself and be honest with you all because even as a preacher I missed this part um this is an essential um verse because a lot of people have spent time working on their career um and letting their spirituality
Go to pot we spend a lot of time just pushing pushing career career career we we go to college what for why do we go to college we go to college so that we can get a good job um we try to take the things that we learn in college either
Educational or the things that we learned in college um either social to help us to do what perform on our job um we go get good grades in college we we we we try our best to be Affiliated in college We join fraternities sororities social interest
Groups we we do all of these things to better what um ourselves so that we are positioned to do what get a better job position to make more money but the job what we find out is after we work a job 20 years or 10 years
Or five years we find out that when we get sick the job keeps going and we stuck when we get hurt We join the military and and what we’re finding is a lot of people that have made career out of the military uh they are now filing for Disabilities because the military has
Torn up their mind torn up their body torn up their emotions and so there’s a lot of things that we do um to to worry about this thing right here but we’ve got to get back to the essentials my grandfather used to say that one thing he had uh that nobody
Could take away from him was his name um there is something about having a good name I found out that my grandfather’s name when I went to buy my first car and my mother’s name when I went to buy my first car um was better than my credit I
Thought my credit bureau spoke but they didn’t care about my credit bureau that when I wanted to drive the car off the lot in that little town that I came from I I mentioned the fact that I was Robert swope’s grandson and Mary Herby who worked at the plants son and they said
Oh my goodness they didn’t ask for my driver’s license they handed me a tag and told me keep keep the car bring it back tomorrow why because my mama and my grandfather had worked so much on a name that their name was rather to be chosen
Than favor uh than silver and gold amen so we’ve got to learn Christians we’ve got to learn uh uh Pew babies we’ve got to learn church folk that that church folk need to work on their name character has to be a priority amen I I know I know this is this is uh
This is hard because now when we talk about this um we’ve got to talk about something that a lot of you don’t want to deal with and it’s the same it’s the same scripture but I wrote reputation a lot of us want to be known as
Christians uh but we don’t want to deal with our reputation uh it’s hard to be a Christian with bad credit now I got quiet it’s it’s hard to be a Christian and be known as a liar oh it got it got real quiet in here
It’s hard to be a Christian and be known as a cheatah so either the term Christian we got to rediscussed or we got to rediscussed because your loss out on Monday how can you say you’re a Christian on Sunday but crawl out the club on Saturday so we’ve got to discuss the
Reputation of the Saints and it’s got to be an honest and transparent conversation preachers it’s hard to call yourself a pastor an apostle a bishop an Elder um but your reputation is that you sleep around uh come on now and and so and so or that you’re mean cuz see I you y’all
Want to deal with the deadly sins but can I tell you something some of folk have run some preachers have run folk out to church just because they mean some first ladies have run folk out to church just because they mean so do you value the money or do you value your
Reputation y’all still with me can I go further I was I was I was sitting around and I was trying to decide how to deal with this and as I was deciding how to deal with this these are the words that I heard we have to avoid being a character
And work on our character see a lot of people now they spend so much time trying to Brand themselves they they want to be known for this Persona you know this this outward appearance and a lot of folk think this thing says if if if you say
That someone is a character you mean that they are interesting unusual or amusing the term he’s a nut comes to mind we got a lot of folk that spend time all they do is joke all they do is want to be the funny man funny lady they
Walk in the room and they’re loud and they’re obnoxious because they want to be known as this just great garious person but see sometimes you work so much on that that Persona you’re trying to present folk can’t trust you cuz your yes is not yes and your no
Is not no what you do is you you respond to whatever crowd you’re in you’re a character and we have to get to the play um where we decide that we want to go to heaven and when you decide that you want to go heaven and Be Heaven bound there’s
Some stuff that you just can’t joke about there’s actually some stuff that you got to take a little more serious in this season in my life I want to go to heaven that’s where I’m at and so I don’t want to be a character or a
Caricature I want people to look at me and understand that I take my walk serious amen and now now now I want to tell you something that that that some of you don’t want to hear um but I’m just going to tell you anyway I have not always been this
Way I didn’t always value my salvation the way I do it now and and and the truth is some of you are sitting there right now saying he talking about me because a lot of us we took salvation for granted we took the grace of God for granted and
So our character was not one that would say what I have is valuable and I value it how do I know this because we did not keep his Commandments we did not keep our word come on now and see we have to be careful um uh that we we don’t we
Don’t whitewash or Gaslight everybody making everyone believe that we don’t have any character flaws because we have them are y’all still with me this is not easy to teach I want I want you to understand this is is not easy because this is what I want
You I want to lift this up to you and and and and maybe this might make sense to you uh this passage that I that I found says according to scripture not according to Robert here are the things that Christian character includes now when I’m reading these I want you to ask
Yourself um do you find yourself struggling sometimes or have struggled with some of this The Pursuit Of Truth godl righteousness love joy peace gentleness kindness patience perseverance meekness humility self-control compassion thankfulness forgiveness contentment and unity that’s a long list I know it’s a really long
List but if you could humor me for a minute I want you to know that that is a long list and those are a lot of the tenants of good character and see and you say well Bishop I’m only struggling with two I’m gonna say this if you violate one
Principle you violate them all okay say Bishop all I’m dealing with is my patience well if if you don’t if you I’m telling you um a lot of this stuff don’t travel by itself uh if if you’re not patient you probably ain’t showing the right kind of
Love if you’re not patience and not showing the right kind of love you’re probably not temperate if you’re not patient not showing the right kind of love and you’re not temperate you probably have problems with self-control if you have problems with self-control and you’re not patient you’re probably not compassionate y’all
Follow me see all all these things follow each other and so God you’ve got to help me so that I get my character in line because I’m not representing you correctly I I’ve got people believing that mean Saints are allow uh I got folk believing that I can walk in
Unforgiveness and still call myself a Christian how can you believe that your character is in line and all you do is Rob people of their Joy is this is this okay we’ve got to and and I’m I’m not trying to I’m not trying to really
Bother you or well I am excuse me let me back up I am trying to bother you I’m not trying to beat you but I’m trying to bother you because I believe that if we start working on our character if we start trying to have peace with
All men if we start learning how to be gentle and kind I believe the landscape of Christianity can change in this season if we’re going to have a Revival um the the thing we’ve got to realize and understand and I want y’all to hear this uh Revival begins in the the
House Revival is not we invite folk here and they get saved that’s an Evangelistic outpour that’s an Evangelistic service but Revival is you find things that were once alive that have gone dead and you revive it and the church needs a resurrection in Christian character y’all with me yeah listen I I
Know I know I know this is bothering some people but I think it’s the teaching that’s needed so if Revival begins in the house the question that you have to ask yourself is how can I enter in heaven I’ve got to get my character right and I’ve got to be revived so that
I can enter into the kingdom of God Amen is this okay okay the Bible says says in Psalms 15:1 it says who may Worship in your Sanctuary Lord who may enter your presence on your Holy Hill so if my character is not right then I’m not fit
To worship because the Bible says they that worship Him must worship Him in what spirit and what truth it’s a true statement that if my character is not right then I can’t be spiritual I’m carnal and carnality is not a place that you can find in worship I’ve got to be
Spiritual to go behind the veil and enter into the holy of holies amen see now now I can praise God and be caral you see it all day long but see I if it’s true worship in the intimacy that I need to have to see God is going to be a
Place where I have to work on my character well well what do I have to be verse two says this it says those who lead blameless lives and who do what is right speaking the truth from sincere heart so what so now my character means that I’ve got to be
Blameless that means that that doesn’t mean that I never sin it means that that my lifestyle is not that of sin okay see because none of us are perfect we all have issues okay okay I want I want to I’m excusing some of you because
Some of you thought that you had to be perfect and I want to excuse you and let you know that it’s okay that you’re not perfect um but but see uh put that slide back up so they can see this again it says those who lead blameless lives it
Does not say those that are perfect see you can enter in just by having a life lifestyle of being blameless that doesn’t mean people aren’t going to catch you slipping okay but see when you’re living a lifestyle uh see that’s why it says speaking the truth from sincere Hearts
See when you when you get caught slipping you say stuff like create in me a clean heart that’s right renew the right Spirit Within Me Purge me see but when you when you are not sincere your heart uh you’ll see the the heart of a man by his actions uh so so now
Blameless next thing it says it says those who refuse to gossip oh man so now half the church is gone cuz what would the church talk about if it wasn’t gossip because we spend a lot of time gossiping and we spend a lot of time I watched U I watched some preach
Preaching uh all week I’ve been trying to watch preaching and I’m and I watch the people I trust you know and so a lot of times there’s people I know I watch them and I’ve been watching preaching and um one of the guys said he ain’t
Telling on other folk and he minding his own business uh he said he ain’t snitching listen this is this is Pastor Jord he said he ain’t snitching I I loved it because because the truth is um the Bible says it like this um um I’m G
I’m gonna get there but the Bible says prove all things a lot of us are killing our brothers and speaking evil of our friends based on what we think we know you weren’t there you don’t even know what happened you just know who told you the story
First and then I would normally most of us believe whoever got to us first so those Liars come to you first see I don’t chase a lie I don’t I don’t even try to refute a lie and so what happens is because I’m not trying to defend myself and because
I’m not trying to get all wrapped up in it you believe the person who came and screamed and told you the and and see you got to be careful because you called me a friend but you caught up now you said was family but now you caught up cuz why
You didn’t prove all things doesn’t her character of all the things that she’s done in her in watch this her character her time proven uh uh instances of being faithful to you her character her time proven instances of speaking truth doesn’t that mean something that you can
You cannot um um sit there and say that you should sit there and say to someone listen let’s get her on the phone let’s bring her over here before I talk one minute about her first we going to pray because Holy Spirit revealed the stuff that was done in darkness holy spirit
Let me see a lie but we we don’t take time in making sure that we don’t bring harm to our neighbors and all of us are caught up in it how many of us have made mistakes and misspoken got caught on a bad day told White Lies black lies purple
Lies green lies all of y’all some of the lies you tell you go I didn’t want to hurt their feelings well okay when that picture come out five years from now and they sitting at home and they look at you say why did you let me wear that
You know we have to be we have to be careful and and we got to make sure watch this those who despise flagrant Sinners and honor the faithful followers of the Lord and keep their promises even when it hurts I W to I W to I wanna I want to
Stop here because I got to I can’t go past this character issue without dealing with it so I’m not talking about none of y’all if you online I’m not talking about any of y’all I remember drag night some of y’all used to watch draget or Adam Adam
12 one Adam 12 Adam 12 y’all I don’t know if y’all remember that it said the stories that are told are based on fictional characters amen this what I’m saying doesn’t represent anybody in here but see a lot of folk watch flagrant sinners in the church and they watch them not get their
Agenda across in the church and then what they do is they align themselves with them when they leave the church the Bible says despise flagrant Sinners if somebody wants to live a lifestyle of sin let them live it what makes you believe that you got
To be t see that’s the problem uh you you you you you talk about your pastor with them you talk about the other Saints with them they tell you that’s the problem with the church I I I’m so sick of people coming to me telling me that somebody with a lifestyle of sin
Told them what the problem was with the church and they bring it back to me like it has validity tell how dumb I am one day I was in a barber shop brother Ral I was in a barber shop and I’m a clean Cleveland Browns fan through and through
I’m telling you I bleed for Cleveland I say that in a sports way just make sure y’all understand I’m just telling the story y’all I don’t want y’all talking about pastors idolatrous and all that other stuff you know I know how y’all are y’all y’all too
Deep so we were talking in the barber shop about the Browns I was in Ohio um and so everybody in the barber shop was talking about the Browns and a gentleman was sitting in the chair and he said no Denver got your number and we was all talking about
Denver who is Denver they talking about the the the kick the field goal that wasn’t really a field goal and we was all saying that wasn’t really a field goal and the fix was here and we were talking and talking and talking and I mean we was and he stood his ground when
He left the B said y’all don’t know who that was do y’all they like we no they said that’s that’s the All Pro defensive linebacker that play for Denver see we was faithful followers okay but he was in the game amen and see sometimes time you got to understand that those faithful
Followers of sin ain’t in this game and we’ll never agree I I hope I just said something and see you keep aligning yourself with folk that already have a war listen either you in love with God or you’re in enmity uh against the against the body of Christ and so
You can’t you can’t oh my God I wish I just and see you got to you got to look at somebody’s character and figure out who are they I ain’t talking about people that leave your church that just normally leave your church that happens people that listen um I caught myself
Christine heard me tell this story I said something really bad about an old girlfriend I was with some friends and I said something bad about an old girlfriend some of what I said was true some of it was exaggerated it was only exaggerated based on my
Perception amen uh and the truth is is her and I probably looked at the same instant totally different because I wasn’t always a preacher oh I just said something my character when I was dating her was not the character I got right now so I got what I got because I was
Who I was and sometimes bad character get you to a place where it hurts and so now that you’re trying to get good character you’ve got to honor the faithful followers of the Lord you’ve got to make sure that you’re sowing and reaping good things amen and so you treat Saints with
Kindness you treat Saints with joy and watch this and you keep your promises even what when it hurts you tell somebody girl if you need me call me ain’t that how we tell new Saints so they call you at 3 o’clock in the morning a there’s no one calling you at
3 o’clock in the morning just to say what you doing they calling you why because they need you and what do you say I don’t feel like being bother with them and you and you let it go to voicemail but your character says keep your word even when it hurts you said
That you was going to be there for him you set the expectation nobody just G to call Rachel Dawson at 3 in the morning but Renee and Renee got listen if Renee call Rachel at 3:00 in the morning she going to answer that phone cuz Renee would sleep at
8: okay but see we got to make sure that we keep our promises even when if you say listen I’m G tell you something if you borrow money the only way you don’t pay it back is if the person absolves you from the money sometime people go don’t even
Worry about it right but if they don’t say don’t even worry about it just because they don’t mention it don’t mean that you don’t owe it if they get locked up and put in jail what do you do you Find whoever is handling their estate and you say I owe Jim some money y’all with me if if if if you said I’m gonna mow your grass 52 times this year guess what hey I if it’s the 31st you better mow that grasp and you only did a 49 mow it three [Laughter]
Times I’m I’m being but I’m I’m just trying I just want to make you laugh a little bit now I want you to see this because I want you to see verse I want you to see verse five so it can hurt some of y’all feelings because I’m gonna show some
Something a little bit different to you it said those who lend money without charging interest and without and who cannot be bribed to lie about the innocent such people will stand firm forever these are the people that can enter in I want to talk about this lending money without
Interest but I want to take money off the table because this is a principle a lot of you a lot of us charge folk to be our friends we charge folk to be in our company sometimes we charge them with agreement a lot of us have friends you
Know you got friends that the only way you can be their friend is you got to agree with everything they say that’s interest don’t compound that on me uh let me be your friend and it don’t cost me anything a lot of folk um charge you that you got to act like them
To be their friend listen just because you got a texted Ministry don’t mean I have one and that’s not the expectation you should have them I’m trying to help some of y’all and see one one of the things about having good character is if I call Brother Ralph a friend watch
This before I call him a friend I got to inspect him I want you to hear this when I inspect him and call him a friend that mean I don’t try to change him oh this is hurting some of y’all this hurting two of y’all because see a lot of us
Want project friends we want friends who we say I’m your friend that means I accept you but see now you it’s going to cost you to be my friend I’ve got a friend uh who’s a preacher that that we can disagree and we can tell each other our disagreements and we go
On there’s no argument it’s nothing there nothing about it there’s no charge amen got another friend she’s a preacher she’s a prophet y’all know y’all know Prophet Jordan Shea she can call me and I can call her and she can say I’m mad at you and I can say I’m mad at
You but it stopped there why because she don’t have to lie to me to be my friend and I don’t have to lie to her to be her friend and if she did something that bothered me or or that bothered Christine or that I did something that bothered her or bother bothered her
Husband we our friendship says um as as as people that have a relationship um that we are allowed to disagree amen and don’t listen you got to stop making folk lie to you um um to to get along with you and now some of y’all saying pastor
I never did that yes you did y’all got friends right now that y’all walk on eggshells y’all got sisters and brothers that y’all walk on eggshells around amen now everybody said Amen to that y’all okay oh I choose friends better than I do family okay I got it I got
It I I want you to get this principle because we have to deal with character see if you’re always um um uh your character can’t be a transactional thing want us to get past transactional relationships amen am I boring y’all y’all sure so I want to deal with something while I’m dealing with
Character I want to deal with the delusion of Getting By or the illusion of Getting By A lot of us are delusional we believe just because it says a false witness will not go unpunished nor will a liar escape a lot of us believe um that these character issues
That we have saying what we want to say without and see y’ a lot of us are authoritative figures on everybody else’s life y’all heard them y’all Y we all know somebody who who just knows they always talk talking about um they know what happened they were never
There listen you read the same article I did I was dealing with a saint one day and they they posted something online and I rarely it was just this day I just happened to be looking at it and they posted it online and I called them I said you know you posted
Something that’s not true and and they said no no I found it Bishop I said’ no you didn’t read the whole article at the bottom of the article it said this is fictional no wait a minute see see some no no see sometimes that article can be three
Pages and the writer just wrote it to get clicks uh and see you have to be careful um but see you can’t be the false witness because well Bishop what’s the punishment sometimes it’s your reputation huh see we need to guard our reputation is this
Good we we we we want to make sure um the liar nor will a liar Escape sometimes you can tell a lie on somebody so long has anybody ever been in a room when a liar was confronted with both parties that’s when the rough get rough they
Done told the lie so good that both parties is mad at each other and finally it comes down to the to the rubber meat in the road and they find out that there’s one Central character and you bring him in the room and say but you
Told me or or or sometime people do it on a threeway they don’t even let the liar know the other person on a threeway what she say what he say then other one say I did oh no no I didn’t mean that no no wait a minute
Or how about this how about on Judgment Day you have to the Bible says that we will be judged by every Idol word that we speak there’s a character deal that we have to deal with our mouth we have to deal with our tongue we have to deal with the lies that we
Spread uh and I don’t I don’t know how you want to classify lies cuz some of y’all think there’s good lies okay some people in the world not y’all how about that okay some people in in a zip code outside of our ZIP codes think that there’s good
Lies I did that for they good I’d rather you tell me the truth y’all still you still here with me man oh man are we are we are we locked up Jake okay okay good good it’s just maybe me okay but we good now okay let’s just meet in gota gotta go
Out I lost internet connection but I got it back so so if we’re not going to get by then character has to be forg discipline it’s got to be forged what what do I mean by that character can be defined in who you are when all the lights are
Off who are you when things are not going well who are you when no one else is looking and who you are when you’re losing maybe that’s more like character and Saints have to learn how to be consistent when no one else is looking how to be consistent on Monday
Tuesday if you got Bible class on Wednesday skip that day but Thursday Friday and Saturday how you know how am I consistent on those days amen if I said I’m a leader and I’m not doing anything that’s crucial can I just give the Lord an Hour of Prayer on
Saturday can’t you just be with him for an hour so now I have to mentally and spiritually Forge myself to be disciplined a disciple and a lot of us are working on speaking engagements and agendas and we’re not working on our character because to be forged means
That I have to be able to go through the fire and sometimes the fire is Affliction y’all still with me but when we do do that um we find a place that Paul writes in Romans he he says this he says he says we can Rejoice
Too when we run into problems and trials for we know that they help us develop endurance one of the things that you’ll find out about character is that it works on your endurance the Bible says endurance develops strength of character and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation
I’m talking about character because I want you to start hoping more for salvation and so that means that you have to work on your character you have to learn how to endure you have to learn how to go through things when you’re losing go through things when it just
Doesn’t seem right go through things when when the lights aren’t on and nobody’s watching go through things it’s like walking past a PE piece of paper don’t just pick the piece of paper up when the pastor’s there pick it up when you’re there by yourself pulling in the parking lot
Seeing cans out in the parking lot don’t wait till the first lady or the head of the deacon board is there and go out and do it do it when just when you pull in by yourself and nobody’s gonna say anything about it amen when you see
Spider webs and and you go well I’m gonna wait till the till the church come on cleanup day no you here doing nothing go on and just get them up when somebody says something bad about sister someone so and and and and you got to understand that nobody’s
Going to know that you was in the room um because you ain’t going to make a fuss out of it but sometimes you have to understand silence means compliance and so and so you say wait a minute stop were you there I’m not going to agree with you
About sister so and so Bible says prove all things I’m not I’m not going to gossip on it I’m not going to spread it well what did you hear I didn’t hear nothing I I heard that I can’t spend two minutes talking about somebody unless I spend
Some time praying for them y’all with me on this and so I I got to work uh on on on how I Endure and then watch this the church didn’t do something wrong for me when I lost the job because I was going to that church that church didn’t clock in late every
Day I got to leave that church I lost my job wait a minute now you you’ve been late every every day before you even join that church that church wasn’t with you when you went off on your boss oh that church just bring me something but
Problems no no no no no you can’t absolve yourself from this you got to work on your character we all have to work on our character and that doesn’t mean that we won’t have good days and bad days I’m not saying that you have to be perfect I’m saying that you need to
Perfectly work on your character it’s something that you must be consistent about is this okay uh the hope of our Salvation scripture says will not lead to disappointment for we know how dearly God loves us because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his

Nieces I got to endure with the Saints I gotta endure with my sister and my brother my my my mother I got to endure what you see what I’m saying we you got to learn how to endure and you understand that God won’t disappoint you because he sends his love while you’re going

Job he is the finest man in all the Earth he is blameless a man of watch this complete Integrity he fear God and stays away from Evil and he has maintained his Integrity even though you urge me to harm him without cause see we’ve got to
Be at the place where God says this guy is blameless this sister has Integrity that does not mean Integrity does not mean perfect he didn’t say job was perfect he said but he is a man of complete Integrity that means when given the the option he’s going to do what’s
Right amen so I want you to hear how we we want to look at this because you have complete Integrity does not mean that circumstances will not be not be hard in your life it does see I want you to understand that your character has nothing to do with the
Circumstances that come upon you they have something to do with the guarantee and reward and they also have something to do with how you handle the circumstances Satan replies to the Lord skin for skin a man will give up everything he has to save his life but reach out and take away his

Life was over when when my marriage see my marriage ain’t always perfect and I know I know some of y’all G want everybody to believe your marriage is always perfect but if it’s two Grown Folk in a house together it ain’t always perfect I’m sorry huh and I know my wife think I’m
Crazy and I’m okay I probably do need coun your eyes ain’t supposed to get that big right then okay you just you just agreed too quick but see when our circumstances in my marriage when my circumstances in my finances when my circumstances in my job change it has nothing it should not
Change my Integrity or my character amen the guarantee is Jesus God says this he says all right do with him as you please the Lord said to Satan but spare his life one of the greatest things that we have to talk about is that God um says now he says I’m going
To let you bother him so I’m gonna let you change him circumstances but the guarantee that I have is that I’m gonna keep his life and God has saved some of us and he’s put limits on our trouble I wish y’ I wish iall would bless God for that um and see
God see when he looks at your character and and he can attest that who you have been through time he can he says okay he might be she might have some issues they might have to go through some stuff but I say when enough is enough after all the stuff job went
Through we find in chapter 4 42 we started in Chapter 2 we got 40 chapters of some mess but way down in chapter 42 verse 10 job Hears A commandment from God that God wants him to pray for the friends that have dealt harshly or spoke harshly to him God put put
Their life in the hands of a man with good Integrity so scripture says that he tells job to pray for his friends this must be a great prayer and this must be a man of integrity because the scripture says when job prayed for his friends the Lord restored his
Fortunes in fact the lord gave him twice t as much as before when you walk in character and you walk in Integrity God brings back the things you’ve lost you hear me God God re he’ll reward you openly even for the stuff that you suffered in private I wish
Y’all got this cause cause cause I’m almost finished uh I I want you to get this Galatians Paul writes this because I’m I’m gonna finish but Paul writes this in Galatians and he he speaks to us um and he lets us know about the witness of God the Holy Spirit produces this kind
Of fruit in our lives what is my witness my life has to be a life the character who I am has to produce some fruit it produces love joy peace patience kindness goodness faithfulness gentleness and self-control watch this he says there’s no law against this stuff
Such things there’s no law against it so now when you learn now to walk in Integrity in your character is intact then you produce love and and and and love one writer says love covers the multitude of what sins okay that your joy what may be full
Says let your patience have her good work and see and see kindness goodness faithfulness gentleness self-control when you practice self-control see then sin you’re no longer a slave or a bonder servant to sin and so I walk I walk my life being kind to others because scripture says to
Love your brothers as yourself this is how I walk my life I walk my life being gentle and humble blessed are the meek uhuh there’s a promise attached to you uhhuh and see and see we start all of a sudden attaching ourselves to the promises of God
Because my character is my witness and my character produces fruit I want your character to be your witness I want it to produce fruit in your life and this is where we want to be we want our character to produce fruit Lord I pray today that the Saints online and in this
House work on their character we don’t want to be characters and just wishy-washy and not men and women of our word we want to make sure that we practice what we preach practice what you teach what you show us in your word father help us to be living examples of who you are
Father father work on our reputations let our yes be yes and our no be no and we’ll continue father to clean up our own houses father let us be mindful of our Affairs and not the Affairs of others father and we’ll continue to give you praise and honor
