Curious as to like what goes on in the FR I feel like that I have a lot ofo okay actually because we watch all these movies so do you guys have to go through like a pledging like initiation yeah okay so for sure like it’s it’s kind of
It’s kind of like any business you know you don’t know who’s going to join until you get to know him right hold on let me get let me get serious here oh [ __ ] so just just like any business you want to know who’s going to be joining the team
Right okay so there’s got to be a period where you get to know them get to test test their test their grit if you will right so and how exactly do you test their grit first of all are they going to show up that’s that’s the first thing
We got we got some cool events are you going to show up and are you going to be a weirdo about it or not that’s that’s basically the first thing but uh so before before there’s any pledging for itself there’s a period where you’re called you’re rushing basically so it’s
This period called Rush is where you these people have maybe shown entrance in joining okay but uh yeah we’re just like okay are they even cool enough to consider that’s the first thing so um that’s how I first got started was I got invited out to rush event which is uh
They had they had free dinner they had poker poker going I was like [ __ ] yeah I’ll get some food that’s that’s what I’m in it here for um but then I I pulled up and I was like damn there’s there’s some dudes that could probably
Bench press more than me here I should I should stick around that’s the criteria to see like a better that my crer you you ain’t bitching like what I’m not talking to you what you what are you doing yeah but uh yeah and then but after a
While they they’re okay these These are these are cool dudes whatever um obviously I got picked and uh then then they’re like hey would you like to pledge our fraternity and uh so you say yes or no whatever but during that during that time it’s okay I I’ll say
There’s there’s a there’s a comparison that we have to make because there’s lots of movies they’re saying some crazy [ __ ] but a lot of the movies are based off of fraternities that are happening in the states right yeah so what is a Canadian fraternity like tell us so well
I’ll tell you I’ll tell you why this the the two countries or two countries are different with the fraternities so uh to think about think about what what goes on when you start started a school right you just finished high school right you you just turned 18 and you’re starting this
Starting this new new new Venture with a bunch of new new new people new new new people you can party with or whatever but uh uh in the stat when you get started you’re like well [ __ ] like I’m still not legal to to go out to bars I
Can’t get can’t go and get drinks right well where can I where can I get drinks well at House parties and who’s got the dopest House parties all the fraternities right so that’s why it’s such a big deal in the states just to just to make that make sense okay so
Then here here in Cali you get get to school you could just go to the bar so it’s a lot more different in Canada because it’s like okay well you got to look past theity of like house party right so I’ll be honest like I I was interested because um you’re still my
Fraternity is instantly connected with everyone in in the states so I immediately had this big Network well was your fraternity uh or if you’re allowed to say that I don’t think they’re allowed to say it I hey what are you guys part of Isis like I don’t know it’s just so
[ __ ] crazy I well the thing is I I didn’t finished school yeah so ours one of our still part of the Brotherhood that’s the thing is one of our Cartiers excellent finishing your education and I didn’t do that so technically I I got fired from fraternity oh the yeah so okay damn look
At you so but I I part of it know this so what was like the initiation period for you so after the dinner M they asked if you wanted to pledge what happened so honestly very lowkey for for us we we uh doesn’t sound lowy you’re sparking we
Well I mean there’s some fun stuff so it was like yo show up show up and do our dishes after our Monday dinner that was like one of the things we had to do dishes right it’s not too crazy but then you each get assigned different roles
That are ongoing outside of the dinner so there could be at any point a brother might have to you know just like have to toss a grenade out into the into the garbage like just throwing out piece of garbage but you need someone to protect
Us from from the grenade so we have a grenade pledge that’s got to like cover the grenade just random [ __ ] oh is it like a smoke grenade is it like just like yo I’ve got this crumbled up paper grenade pledge save us I was about I so concerned I wasn’t I
You know I’m not going to the the jersey store Route okay yeah please oh my God were you the grenade pledge ever I was never the grenade pledge I was a I was a president pledge so there’s Mr President and uh so we’d have a brother that was
Selected to be the president isent and you got to escort that brother around the whole campus in a suit looking like they’re Secret Service no Fu you got you got to keep the brother safe you know what the [ __ ] how come we don’t see [ __ ] like that anymore I don’t know damn I
Don’t know it’s good I yeah no I was it was good I actually that that Mr President was great because um like I was obviously in charge of of of of of security I was top of security he had to make sure the brothers were safe another
Brother was on in charge of giving another was in charge of giving the brother uh a beer to shotgun in in math class so so in no way so uh but those roles were filled and it was perfect because I was like obviously everyone’s fil like pulled out their cameras and

I was I was in his fraternity and uh I had a buddy he had he he had taken this sweet photo in front of the frat house uh just just cross the leg get on the bench in front of the frat house looks great he’s got this like white suit um
Crazy uh it was like crazy looking pants I can’t remember what the texture was but there’s like these alligator looking uh like business shoes and everyone was like stoked on this photo but uh we were also like how are we how are we we have
We this R house why why the [ __ ] aren’t we throwing parties all the time and so what we did is we a few of us are living in the house we all wore the exact same like his outfit took that exact same photo and on each of the slides was a
Picture of of us and we had a little description of of each of the people that were part of this group and we just like I remember one time we we created the profile on like on like a Saturday and and on that Tuesday I like I was
Also working I was working at a nightclub uh the manager just like threw us a party bus and we filled it with people through Tinder social on a multi-group like profile and we used to do this every week how did the girls like did you guys invite them and like
Well okay so they’ see like they’ see like this it’s obviously this is before like there’s a while there’s like Tinder social you could actually like have multiple profiles attach to each other but this is one profile with with like four or five people and uh yeah they’re
Just always like what the [ __ ] going on obviously it’s just like you see the frat house you see us and uh yeah you just be like is tind social I’m so confused so Tinder social was like a mode of Tinder where like you have your you have your own individual profiles
But then there was like another tab it just socials and you could create a group and you swipe as a group so you literally see other groups you’re like Hey we’re trying to party so like a group of girls [ __ ] smart it was good okay so
It was the best when it when no when it didn’t exist and we were doing it um because yeah we just literally fill up party bses every week and then Tinder social started and then it was even like it exponentially got better for a bit but then I think everyone just got used
To just trolling each other and not giving a [ __ ] so it actually just became pretty toxic and like just stupid yeah just stupid people ruined it but if they didn’t if Tinder didn’t actually make Tinder social copyright money for this like yeah we’re still working on that lawsuit like [ __ ] those

Reading week so we’re like hey we got got a couple days we decided to spontaneously go to uh Vancouver where we’ve got another chapter there ask if you have been to a UBC yeah yeah so this so we went to we went to go party there
Okay um we like hit the boys up for like yo we’re lit on the way like we crashed like they’re cool um but there was another all those all those frat houses are like in a little village yeah and there’s another frat that had um Risky Business party have you seen that movie
Yeah so there’s that Infamous scene in Rick business girls dressed like he’s dressed up in the the dress shirt no pants underwear just jamming out so this whole party no one’s wearing pants everyone’s wearing dress shirts it great was anyone hard Zachary that’s the biggest question ironically that’s the biggest
