Like send this she sent him the cash app and he sent her $30 for her to go out to eat it wasn’t a request it wasn’t you know she ain’t ask for it or anything like that he was just doing what some men do and he sent her the $30 for lunch
And she wanted to know is she being ungrateful yeah you are because whether he offered or not you know and any real woman knows that when men do that a lot of times they ain’t really sending nothing according to you you know because if you just sending me money for
Lunch real quick it’s just like okay you know I mean is he supposed to sound like you going to dinner for your birthday right right you going out to lunch lunch but I actually was very proud of the woman in the comments wow because they were saying the same thing one of

Like us or worse than us it takes work to link yourself to people who are better than you who are where you want to be who know more than you that takes real effort because that means you have to really assess you have to really be attentive and you have to be humble
Because that means you have to admit where you are in order to consider someone else better than you in to consider that they know more than you you have to be honest about the level you’re on so now when you’re linking yourself to people and the

Somewhere okay cool bet so we left and on our way I don’t remember how but it was like okay we going to the motel with an M so y’all already know okay going to the motel so I’m like okay and we’re driving there and I don’t
Remember what kind of gave me it was something he said prior to us leaving the bar that kind of put something like a like a radar and I kind of like ignored it until we were driving on our way to the motel and he like oh I got to

No unfortunately not why but it’s Easter it’s Easter and let me tell you what Easter is the feast day Easter was the first a pagan holiday of renewal and rebirth honored in the early spring it praise the Pagan goddess which come on all of these things start with
Somebody’s god or goddess lower case G it prais the Pagan goddess of fertility and spring known as ostara Easter or eer and the word Easter originates from this goddess the festival that would be held during this time was to honor old stara or Easter the goddess was a way

Would offer it up to her oara as a offering and hopes to become fertile so that’s where we getting the decorating the eggs from um what else would they do they would give gifts to her so that um she would grant them fertility the Easter Bunny came about because of the
Reproduction power of bunnies so you know they always say you know you reproducing like bunnies and the way that they they can easily you know reproduce in a matter of seconds and things like that so that’s where the Easter Bunny comes from it was a symbol
Of e um fertility because a symbol to go along with the fertility goddess of ostara the egg and Easter bunny so now we know why they did that this is all become a holiday for the children when the German Lutheran gave the Easter Bunny the role of a judge so his role
Was to evaluate whether children were good or disobedient and behavior at the start of the Season Sant just like Santa as a result the Easter Bunny would come just like Santa and he would be be bearing baskets filled with candy chocolate colored eggs and such things

As the son she is bringing things back to life and when she descends back to the underworld that is why the trees fold the things die on the trees the flowers go away so that is where this comes from that is why we have the seasons as we do
So these stories and stories like this where Gods lower case G are killed or die and resurrected that gave people the right idea to now tie Easter to Jesus making it Christian and calling it Resurrection Sunday so back in ad 325 when the emperor Constantine who favored Christianity convened a meeting of
Christian leaders and made Easter a celebration of Jesus Christ three days after his death and we know that this is not true and if you don’t know you know now go do your research so we know that according to these people Jesus died on a Friday and was resurrected three days
Later on a Sunday so Friday so that’s why we got the Good Friday when Jesus was was crucified and the three days later I thought it was Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday child so this is why they are tying This Is How They are
Tying us to Jesus but again if you don’t know go do your research because the Bible does not support this we know that Jesus died and was resurrected three days it does not say he died on a Friday it does not support these theories and
It does not tie Easter to Jesus it does not tell us to celebrate Easter it just doesn’t support it and we can’t take something that was already being done for these Gods lowercase G and I’ll say oh let’s just throw some Jesus in there and make this a Christian thing it
Doesn’t fit it does not fit so if you were planning to to go and dress up and get your kids all doled up for Easter Sunday with the nice Easter dresses and and lace socks the lace socks that they put on these kids for Easter wait they still they

Know your insecurities and you talk about that you know a lot you’re very candid and transparent about that you know your insecurities led to the fact that you are obsessed with being wanted you’re obsessed with being paid attention to you’re obsessed with wanting people to notice you and you’re
In these club uh environments and that’s what women dress you know that’s why they dress so provocatively because they want all the attention they want the eyes and now that caused you to link up with this person who was unsaving right so it it’s actually all um tied together
And it it’s a success it it all is a flow so you know what you can’t pick one honestly without the other right right that’s that’s exactly what we said because you picking your friends based on how you feel about yourself at the end of the day your

Month this particular episode we’re not only talking to Millennials but really talking to the millennial woman what has been your experience with coaching the lives guiding the lives of millennial women in and out of the Church actually Millennial women are in a weird spot in my opinion and I’ll tell you why because Millennial women were raised by the Gen xers with the Gen xers which is myself so y’all have a lot of us in you you you have a lot of the theories and the the
Understandings and things like that your then mix with the new generation you know those gen Z’s and you’re kind of spilling into the Gen Z era so you know you have that Independence you have that um focus on this or that and it’s kind of a weird place to be
Because you know what your mothers of from the Gen wise taught you but then you still crave that new way of thinking yes so I found that that’s it it you don’t know who you’re appealing to when you’re talking and the fact that you’re you’re kind of in between both sides
You’re fighting with yourselves because you know the right thing to do you know what you’ve been taught you know what your aunties and grandmas and you know older women from the generation above you have taught you but then you’re fighting because you got to be on your own because you’re you know you’re
Coming into your own independence now you ladies can tell me if I’m actually correct or not listen amen mother amen time for you to be mothering we ask you to talk about your experience and that’s my experience the millennial women wow yeah that’s exactly what I what I
See with us it’s like part of it is like I don’t want to do what my mama did like I wanna I want to treat my kids different I want to beat my kids like my mama used to beat me so now we got this gentle parented thing going on and yeah
It definitely is a battle of you you kind of got this embra in you because this is how you were raised but now you’re trying to do things differently and do things your own way so you got this tug of wall always yes yes well I
Don’t got the issue with to beating the kids beat your kids my issue a lot of the times was the submitting to my mother after a certain period of time like think for me it was those teenage years it was like I know know my mother knows what she’s talking
About but shut up right now cuz I ain’t trying to hear you so I’mma need you to act like one of those nonexistent parents who really don’t care because I want to do me right now and now as an adult I’m like kissing your feet like thank you you wer one of
Those non-existent parents who didn’t care because good did you hear the the experience I had that was what a mother who was always up under me gave me a nice level of freedom but I couldn’t leave where you going where you at why what you mean how you leaving a house at
2: a.m. where you going at 2 a.m. and I’m like yo I got my own call why are you clocking me like this but look that even with the mother like this I still somehow found a way to be stupid so what would have happened right had you not
Been like that you know that’s crazy and I I hear it a lot even between myself and my my siblings when we talk it’s like yo we thought mommy was crazy a lot of the time but now that we old she know what she was talking about that’s right
That’s right because we went through stuff we went through stuff we may not have told the stories you know that you are now telling but we went through our own journey and you know we could see it coming you know I used to say the same
Thing about my own mother you know who is was the baby boomer and she used to tell me well don’t think I don’t know and don’t think I don’t understand and don’t think I don’t see it and she be saying some stuff and she be hitting the H on that
Night you know but again we know because every generation above you you know you know what’s going on with the Gen Z’s right you know you could look at your younger siblings and say hey I know the deal on that one because I I’ve been there so it it it’s an interesting
Dynamic interesting dynamic goodness gracious now how do you now what would be your biggest I would say your top like advice stamp to Millennial women with everything that you’ve heard everything that you witnessed cuz I know you’re one who you’ll watch a lot before you start talking so it’s like so many different
Things you can say but what do you feel like is like that maybe that one thing that you find yourself saying to everybody even though everybody’s different but you see like this one thing is just like a St Jesus is the only way and I and I
Know you know I’ve had this battle with people where you know they they they’re coming to Steph they want to talk to Steph they want to talk to Miss Steph they want to talk to Stephanie and I have to tell people that where God has
Me in my life I can’t give you any level of advice without telling you about God because I’ve been there I’ve been there where I would to find my own way I’ve made my own mistakes I know where you are as gen um as as a Millennials I know
Where the Gen Z are and I have to tell you the only way to go is Jesus’s way the word of God is appropriate for everybody no matter what you go through and I know it sounds corny I know it sounds corny but I have to promise
You God will like clear up any dilemmas God will clear up any questions that you may have he’ll rescue you oh my he’ll rescue you you know you didn’t get to tell your story but I’m sure you can have the same testimony at the end of
The day God will rescue you you know for you ladies who are millennials and even some of our um uh uh Jers you’re learning that you have tried everything and then when everything fails then you try Jesus and that’s what I have to say now I I can’t go with you know the
People above me they will you know when you try everything and everything first try Jesus try Jesus first right because let me let me let me help you with something prior to you really trying Jesus you’ve been through everything so why do you have to try everything before
You try Jesus you’ve already been through some stuff before you can even consider Jesus why are you even considering Jesus so I know it sounds corny but I have to tell you you know if I had to give the advice to my grandchildren my granddaughter if I have
To give advice to the women whether you’re Millennial or my age or above if you’re a male regardless of age my thing is listen try God try God you cannot and you will not go wrong because even after you’ve tried Jesus you still G to try
The world right right cuz he gonna tell us some stuff you like I know you not tell to do that y you’re still going to try the world and at the end of the day you’re going to find out that trying Jesus is really the only way to go and I
Know you don’t want to hear that I know you don’t want to hear that but I I have to be honest that’s that’s who I am today I cannot give you any better advice than that and as a millennial I’m putting a stamp on that because like you
Said we have been through our trials and tribulations but we tried everything else we done tried to handle it ourselves we done tried to get our mama to take care of it we done did it all you ain’t try Jesus C Jesus now and with that we’re going to take a quick break

Insecurity some people said wait a lot of people said wait but insecurities was number one it’s stopping them from feeling like that girl so what could you give what type of advice could you give to these women who say that insecurities is stopping them from being feeling like they’re
Best I will say I will say you know years ago they used to say the devil made me do it and you know it’s the devil’s fault well first of all it’s always our own flesh and spirit that’s got us all in a tizzy but I have to tell
You the devil has a heavy level of influence and the devil is he is great at helping you feel like or making you feel like you don’t look like this you don’t look like this you don’t look like this you can’t be this you can’t be that
You’re short of this so you can’t be that stop listening to the enemy amen and this is why I tell you try Jesus because the best part about Jesus is you know the Bible tells us we are fearfully and wonderfully made no matter whether you look like v no matter whether you
Look like Steph no matter whether you look like Shanti we can be that girl we can be God’s girl and the only one who can really stop you from being God’s girl is you is you and a lot of that comes from the influence of the enemy
Making you feel like I don’t look I I deal with this weight issue myself and again it’s not me it’s the way I’m perceiving it because I’m looking at everyone else and the world has made it seem like the thinner women and the shapely women and you know those are the
Women to be but you know I then constantly hear from the spirit of the Lord that says you are who God needs am no matter how you look no matter how popular you may be you are that girl amen amen again I stamped that the only person stopping you from feeling like
That girl is you if you feel like you have a weight issue if you feel like you need to get your face together your appearance your clothes your wardrobe whatever it is you are the only person that can do anything about it so go ahead and do it but outside of that you
Are already have everything that you need to do the will of God the looks don’t matter those insecurities should not stop you from doing God’s work right but yes that is number one well you know what piggy back and you look fabulous by the way amen fabulous thank you I came
Across a Facebook post about a couple of months ago and it was showing pictures of meline Monroe and they were saying look meln Monroe had a Pudge look M Monroe had this had that and yet she was still deemed one of the sexiest women you know so that you thinking she
Had the slim tummy and the slim waist no you know back then they had they used to wear the Bloomer pantties that and they showed her in her Bloomer pantties they showed her like how we wear the pencil skirts now and you saw the little Pudge
But she was still out there doing her thing and it just stamps what you just said you know her thing was listen whether she was only like that for a small per of time or whether that’s how she just was period you would have never known that and she went through a lot
You know she fought a lot of demons but the way she carried herself it was just like listen I and that’s what when you present yourself like you’re that girl everyone else will look at you like you’re that girl I remember a man saying that to me too like stop pointing
Certain things out cuz people are going to start seeing you the way you see you and the way you’re telling people to see you so that just really puts a stamp on on everything you just explained and it’s like I’m declaring that I’m that girl today because look at the world we got
Either you you’re skinny and you look good and now we got the you got to be two something to do something which is Big us the big girls and anything in between you got the the the transgenders and all these people who want to be women you got these celebrities out here
Going to get bbls to make like girl you I want to say something um you know and about focusing on God is you know I remember last ADV I had to give a word and you know I had this yellow we had to wear yellow and I was like oh my gosh I
Look as big as a house and I but I bought something that I thought was complimenting you know the size and when I got on at the podium I didn’t care how I looked all I knew was I was there to give the word of God and I exuded that level of
Confidence because I knew what God had given me to say and what the word of God meant what the word of God said I could have been 900 pounds or I could have been nine pounds it didn’t matter it wasn’t my focus my thing was I’m there
I’m here to give God’s word so that’s why I always say you know go to God because that those are the opportunities you need all the time God is using you so you forget about your insecurities you forget about how you look or what you don’t like and
You know what I have to tell you just put some work into this thing here put some work into it you can focus on what God needs you to focus on and you’ll kind of forget all about whatever the insecurity is you’re too tall you’re too short you’re too wide you don’t speak
Well you don’t look good you wear glasses some people hate the fact that they wear glasses or speak with a list but listen it it won’t even matter it really won’t matter I got to say I know all the times when we did like the dances and stuff and people will come
And be like oh that was amazing you did some great and I would be in my head like what see I mess up I missed the word I stumbled right there and people don’t see that because you’re doing what you got to do for GU and that’s what
They see I call it the god goggles like people don’t see it they don’t see it because they got some God goles on and they just think that what you did was amazing that’s what they are focusing on so yes absolutely absolutely all right so which one do you think was
Number two number two what’s the question again what stops you from being from feeling like that girl I think romantic relationship no no okay okay romantic relationships got 12% a number well I ain’t going to tell you the yeah it was 12% uh not friends no friends was the
Last actually nobody picked friends really that means you’re thinking about who you’re leing yourself to right right right so number two was money 42% wow well yeah something like that said that money is stopping them from feeling like that girl well I have to say got something that haunts me
That’s what transparent moment transparent moment you know how like you open your bank account right and you got the two numbers and then the two smaller numbers I only got the two smaller numbers okay and anytime I speak to my pastor mommy I’m like if you would like to se a
Seed so seed into Z me amen into this big account right and I don’t I don’t do that I don’t do to put my it’s like listen no Shades anybody who does just for me I don’t do the put your cash app on my I don’t do it for many
Reasons but it’s like I’ll be good and then out of nowhere I’ll just feel like it’s just like smacking me and like pounding me down like you ain’t got no money so you can’t do this you ain’t got no money so you can’t do that you ain’t
Got no money so people looking at you like this you ain’t got no money so now you a BM you ain’t got no money and it’s like fighting out of that dark at time sometimes it’s like nothing for me literally I’ll be like shut up whatever
Cuz I know where that’s coming from it’s coming from me and it’s coming from the enemy trying to really keep that instilled in me CU he knows I do that to myself and then other times it takes work for me to get out of that mindset
So the money I saw when the posted it and I intentionally did not respond for two reasons one because I’m hosting with her another is because money immediately caught and I’m like this is an off and on issue for me and it’s like I ain’t got no money but yet I
Ain’t got to worry about where I’m sleeping I ain’t got about where I’m bathing what I’m eating when I need to travel and go and not just locally when it’s time to like go on trips I don’t Jesus the when they say Jesus Paid It
All That ain’t just the same he paid it all okay and it’s like so that’s the thing that really helps to pull me out of that it’s like you know what no I can’t go and see the big numbers I only see the little numbers in my account but
Yet he’s entrusting me to even assist with handling other people’s money and it’s like well how you broke which you got access to and you’re handling other people’s money it’s because like pay attention to what God is doing and what God really he said I really need you to
Learn to be 100% dependent on me right right I already showed you you know how to hustle I already showed you you know how to make money I already showed you you don’t care if you got to work to jobs cuz I did before whatever I got to
Do to make this money it’s like I need you to be 100% dependent on me so if that means cutting that pop pipeline but still taking care of me cuz you know I’ve been lost but it’s like whoa that’s what so to hear that money was number two it’s
Like as a woman men y’all think y’all be going crazy when y’ ain’t got no money so if y’all know how y’all get just think about how a woman because it just looks so much worse when women look a certain away like when men look away
It’s like oh but when women look that same way it’s been like who hurt exactly it’s like whoa sis what happened what you mean you don’t have it just looks so much worse when it’s us wow you know it’s funny because you know you you talk about how you don’t have
Your own money but God has you overseeing other people’s money well that is a rehearsal for you it’s teaching you you know if I know how to handle other people’s money because you have to handle other people’s money differently than how you handle your own money so now when God does bless you
It’s in preparation for when God blesses you so when you finally get to have your own money you’ll know how to handle the money properly don’t know what it is to make mistakes and things like that wow so take it as a lesson I have to say if
That insecurity is stopping you from moving you got to get it together get rid of that because as long as you’re doing what you’re supposed to do for God he’s gonna take care of everything else I am in a marriage and it’s like a lot of the times it’s like we got paid
Yesterday and like somebody done stole my check cuz it ain’t where it’s supposed to be but God is always making sure that we have food in the fridge the bills was paid we were able to go out on Dat night like he was taking care of everything so that should not be
Stopping you that insecurity should not be stopping you from moving forward with what God needs you to do because if you’re doing that he’s taking care of you and more ways than you can ever imagine if I was going to work right I wouldn’t be able to do half the stuff
I’m doing cuz I’m I’m always at work so I’d be there like before and it’s like so why you cying to go back to and I I can I can say this in this instance this Plantation because that’s what God showed me that it was where it’s like
When the Israelites they cried to get out of Egypt that was me and then God freed me but then I wanted to go back because that’s what was familiar and it’s like well why are you crying to go back to Egypt why are you crying to go
Back to bondage just because that felt safe and it’s only feeling safe because that’s what’s familiar and now God is like but I need you to be out here and just follow the sound of my voice and you’re going to have way more than you had back then you’re going to be
Able to do way more than what you were able to do them because now you’re subjected to your time is their time right when we let our time be God’s time we don’t know what we be we know be Gooden amen so that was number two again
We had insecurities at number one 46% money at number two at 42% and then we have Romance number three at 12% so what would you like to say about romance stopping these women from feeling like that girl well I have to tell you men play on your insecurities
Yes they play on your insecurities so when you’re in a relationship most times women will use the way a man treats them to now dictate who they are so that’s one of the reasons why you can’t be that girl because how he treat Te You is determining whether you’re that girl or
Not so if he’s greedy and he’s cheating if he’s insecure and he’s doing some stupid stuff now that’s bearing on who you are and how you feel so now you don’t feel as though you’re that girl because of the way he’s treating you or
The way he sees you you know we you got to listen to I’m sorry bad plug but great great great um example this morning’s uh it’s due time with Pastor step was men why do men go back oh and Past St I’m happy you said you gonna

There helps women to feel like they’re underneath right because instead of men being honest about you know why they go back you know just as simply say you know what babe I made the wrong decision I was just a simple jackass and I just thought that the grass was greener I
Just thought that there were better options but you know what I realized that you are the one who God has for me instead of him saying that now you feel right now your insecurity kick in and you’ve allowed that man to build and boost your security and self-esteem
Don’t do it let God do what he needs to do with you because you need to bring him something and you need to let him know listen I am who I am whether God Made You for me or not I can stand on my own so when it comes to these romantic
Relationships be your own woman have your own good self esteem have your self-esteem in the right place so no matter what he does he do he does not help to bring you down amen amen you just spoke about my life Wow we have a man on that says a
Man is going to treat you how you present yourself very very true so amen amen it goes back to what we said before you got to get these insecurities together because how you feel about yourself is going to determine who you link yourself with right right so this

What that really represents so you know if we you want to be a a part of the real women’s Society then you want to join a group of women of God who are only marching in the army of God they’re not subscribing to anything else right they’re not subscribing to the things of
The world they’re not subscribing to other U what is that Easter Stars they’re not subscribing to any other Society group of women right that’s what you want to be a part of and women millennials this is what you want to be a part of because remember now if you
Don’t you will have your own children you will have your nieces and and and and and girls that you find in the church you will have um you know granddaughters possibly and it’s important that you learn who the real Society of women you know are so that
You can help them to come up and they don’t go away to college and now they’re joining these different um sari so they get attention and now they want to be the business women and with the women so that that’s my advice to you Millennial ladies choose God focus on God and teach
Everyone else to focus on God and you start you start the real society and I’ve you know not for nothing past the stuff ever since V and I did that last episode speaking on the sororities and stuff I was like God why can’t we start
Something that know you and I did a nice study on like the Hebrew letters and what that means and we know that God he’s on that he’s all over that it’s like why couldn’t we start something where and it wouldn’t be this whole recruiting thing and now we’re selecting
