Speaking about old Testament Covenant and new Testament Covenant

Praise the Lord praise the Lord for  another day all glory be to the father now Our Father which are in heaven Hallowed be  thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done in   earth as it is in heaven give us this day  our daily bread and forgive us our debts  

As we forgive our debtors and lead us not into  temptation but Deliver Us from Evil for thine   is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever  amen So today we’re going to be talking about the   Covenant and I’m going to be going through all  the scriptures where it shows the Old Testament  

Covenant that was made with the children of is  Israel now we going to start off in Genesis and   we’ll be ending will be ending in Hebrews so we  got a lot of studying a lot of work to do so I  

Get straight to work Justine uan may peace  be upon you good to see you so start off in   Genesis chapter 6 and verse 18 once again we’re  going to be talking about the Covenant that God   made so we’re going to be learning about the  old Covenant and then we going into the New  

Covenant and there many scriptures throughout  the Old Testament where it talks about the old   Covenant so Genesis 6:8 says but with thee will  I establish my Covenant and thou shalt come into   the ark thou and thy sons and thy wife and  thy Sons wives with thee so these were all  

The people who came into the ark when the Ark  was being built and God told these things to Noah so also it’s important to know that  in the Book of Genesis they talked about   fruits being eaten but then after the New  Covenant when Noah came they were able to

Eat of every living thing of All Flesh to a very  short oh he told him to bring these into the ark I’m looking for what now we we going to just continue so going  to Genesis chapter 9:9 Kool-Aid Man Shawan may  

Peace be upon you Genesis 9:9 we talking about  the old Covenant well the first Covenant that   God made and it came to Noah and we read about  it the first time the Covenant was mentioned was   in Genesis chapter 6 verse 18 if anybody sees  the Covenant before Genesis chapter 6 ver8 let

Were the only people that made it when the world  was flooded so now we go to Genesis chapter 9 ver9 and I behold I establish my Covenant with you  and with your seed after you Genesis 9 and verse  

11 says and I will establish my Covenant with  you neither shall All Flesh be cut off anymore   By the Waters or of a flood BL excuse me and  I will establish my Covenant with you neither  

Shall All Flesh be cut off anymore By the Waters  of a flood neither shall there be any more be a flood to destroy the Earth so God was telling  Noah he’s establish his Covenant with him and  

It’s not going to be no more All Flesh cut off  By the Waters of a flood so he’s letting us know neither shall there anymore be a flood  to destroy the Earth but when Jesus said he   come back he said he coming back in  the clouds but this is just the first  

Covenant we ain’t get all the way there  yet go to Genesis chapter 9 and verse   12 it says and God said this is the token of  the Covenant which I make between me and you   and every living creature that is with you for  Perpetual Generations so God made the Covenant  

With Noah and with every living creature  that is with him for Perpetual Generations so that’s something that something maybe  somebody learned something new they just   thought the Covenant was with Noah it was with  the every living creature too this is why we  

Have to be responsible for these animals and  these living creatures this is why I this is   why I believe people care a lot about animals  because they read it in the word of God and it   says the Covenant is with Noah and every living  creature so these creatures are God’s creation  

Every animal every shark it don’t matter  what type of animal it is is God’s creation so I do set my bow in the cloud and it shall  be for a token of a covenant between me and  

The Earth so this is that rainbow that everybody  uses and most people use it today to represent   the LGBT community but before the rainbow was  connected to the LGBT community it was God that   set that rainbow in the cloud and it shall  be for a token of a covenant between me and  

The Earth between God and the Earth so this  is the true definition of what that rainbow   represents when you go to Genesis CH 1 ver3  you you’re going to read it actually we’re   going to speed up go to Genesis chapter 9 and  verse 15 because we just read 13 it says and  

I will remember my Covenant which is between  me and you you and every living creature of   All Flesh and the waters shall no more become a  flood become a flood to destroy all flesh so he   reminded them over and over that the waters  shall no more become a flood To Destroy All

Flesh and then he actually tells him again  I and I will remember my Covenant which is   between me and you and every living creature  of All Flesh so this Covenant is not just with   God’s people well when it started it wasn’t  just with the Israelites it was with all the  

Living creatures this is why they used a lot of  living creatures to do offerings and things like that so we were we were at 15 now let’s go  to verse 16 Genesis chapter 9 and verse 16  

It says oh no we read that now verse 17 and God  said unto Noah this is the token of the Covenant   which I have established between me and All Flesh  that is upon the Earth All Flesh so most people  

Would think that the Covenant was between God  and the Israelites but God said All Flesh that   is upon the Earth see what happens when we read  brothers and sisters this is wonderful beautiful   all glory be to God we learn I’m learning a lot I  hope y’all are learning I’m read it again Genesis  

6:7 it says and God said unto Noah this is the  token of the Covenant which I have established   between me and All Flesh that is upon the Earth  All Flesh so even the heathens and the Gentiles  

God got a covenant with them too the laws and  Commandments was given to Israel but they were   for everybody to follow the Israelites had a  special responsibility to to to go out and give   these laws that God gave to them to other  people and Nations whether they exploited  

Them or didn’t do what they were supposed to  do we’re not here to talk about that on this   stream so we’re going to start um in Genesis  and we’re going to move up to chapter 15 and  

Go to verse 18 it says in the same day the Lord  made a covenant with Abraham this is before his   name was Abraham Abraham saying unto thy seed  have I given this land from the river of Egypt  

Unto the Great River the river Euphrates so this  is god making a coven Covenant with Abraham saying   unto thy seed have I given this land from  the river of Egypt unto the the Great River   the river Euphrates that’s the Great River the  river Euphrates speaks about that River drying

Up so going to Genesis chapter 17 verse2  Genesis 17:2 it says and I will make my   Covenant between me and thee and I will  multiply thee exceedingly so this is God   renewing his COV right after the  birth of ishmail still in the Old Testament right before Abraham became

Abraham so we went from Genesis 17 2  now watch this go to Genesis 17-4 as   for me behold my Covenant is with thee and  thou sht be a father of many nations Thou   shalt be a father of many nations go to  um Genesis 17-7 and I will establish my  

Covenant between me and thee and thy  seed after thee and their Generations   for an Everlasting Covenant to be a god  unto thee and to thy seed after thee okay so saying the um similar to the same things that  was mentioned before that’s Genesis 17-7 go to  

Genesis 17-9 it says and God said unto Abraham  so now his name is Abraham Thou shalt keep my   Covenant therefore thou and thy seed after thee  in their Generations so he just keep confirming   the same thing he doesn’t want them to forget this  this is important the way how we keep reading it  

You can tell this is something that’s important  so let’s go into Genesis 17:10 it says this is   my Covenant which he shall keep between me and  you and thy seed after thee every Manchild among   you shall be circumcised so every Manchild this  where they first learned about circumcision in  

Genesis all right so that’s Genesis 17 and10  go to 11 it says and ye shall circumcise the   Flesh of your foreskin and it shall be a token of  the Covenant betx me and you so this circumcision  

Was a a a token or like a trophy what we would  something to show that they are a part of the   Covenant that’s Genesis 17-1 let’s go to Genesis  17 and13 it says he that is born in my house and  

He that is brought with my with thy money must  needs be circumcised and my Covenant shall be in   your flesh for an Everlasting Covenant so 13 it’s  going to make us read 14 and the uncircumcised   Manchild whose flesh of his foreskin is not  circumcised that Soul shall be cut off from  

His people he hate broken my Covenant so it tells  us this soul will be cut off from his people if   his flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised  when Jesus came they talked about circumcision  

In the heart not being made with hands and then  he told you you’re not even a Jew if you’re not   circumcised in the heart so this is why the  New Covenant is is very important well the   same Covenant but prophecies being fulfilled  and and all the laws being fulfilled well no  

It’s a New Covenant because the Old Testament  was the old Covenant the New Testament is the   New Covenant now let’s go into 17 and 19 it  says and God said Sarah thy wife shall bear   thee a son indeed and thou shalt call his name  Isaac and I will establish my Covenant with him  

For an Everlasting Covenant and with his seed  after him so we got Abraham we got Isaac okay   that’s 19 now let’s go to Genesis 17 and 21  it says but my Covenant will I establish with  

Isaac which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set  time in the next year now we go to Genesis 21 and 32 thus they made a covenant at Bear Sheba then  ABI Mich rose up and pyo the chief captain of  

His host and they returned into the land of  the Philistines so made a covenant at beer Sheba then they returned into the land of  the Philistines so these Philistines is   one of these names Palestine Philistines that  we here still to this day so a lot of these  

Muslim people live in these areas so they know  about these things sometimes we just read these   things they know exactly what these things  mean they know why these wars between Israel   and Gaza is over one of these scriptures  that I just read now we’ll go to Genesis  

26 and 28 it’s between who Abraham gave his  um who Abraham told the land it’s about land   it’s about one of them scriptures I just read  that’s what Israel and um Gaza is fighting over 2628 one of them say they’re Abraham’s seed one  of them say they’re another seed and they say the  

Land belong to them and it’s over it’s something  written in in the word Genesis 26:28 it says and   they said we saw certainly that the Lord was with  thee and we said let there be now an oath betwix  

Us even betwix us and thee and let us make a  covenant with thee now this the Covenant with ABI mle so God was appearing that Isaac  Abraham ABI MC and letting all these people know this is the Covenant so that was Genesis 26 and

28 and this this was a oath that they  also took too cuz it says and they said   we saw certainly that the Lord Lord  was with thee and we said let there   be now an oath betwix us even betwix us  and thee and let us make a covenant with  

Thee so this is where we hear about a oath  being made interesting 26 and 28 now we go   to 31 and 44 Genesis 31 CH 31:44 it says now  therefore come down let us make a covenant I  

And thou and let it be for a witness between  me and thee now this was Jacob Covenant with lean so I I would have been doing y’all  a way better service if I could get   the definition of Covenant and you can read it so we’re going to give you the definition of

Covenant out of the Oxford dictionary so Covenant out  of Oxford Oxford dictionary   I don’t know if y’all can see it it’s right here here I’ll read it to you it says a formal agreement a contract by  which one agrees to make regular payments to  

A charity that’s the second definition three  an agreement believed to be the basis of a   relationship of commitment between God and  his people that’s the that’s the most big   biblical definition an agreement believed to  be the basis of a relationship of commitment  

Between God and his people so a covenant is an  agreement that God made with his people so we   learned that we we we went through Genesis 31- 44  now we’re going to move into Exodus y’all moving along Exodus 2 and

24 and God heard their groaning and God  remembered his Covenant with Abraham with   Isaac and with Jacob so in Exodus God heard  him groaning they were crying because they   was in bondage and they cry came up to God so you  got to remember these people had covenants with  

God they were in bondage to the Egyptians and  this is something all like to know to point out cuz a lot of people might just think that  God gave the Israelites a covenant and   they were always like free and they were  God’s chosen people and on top of every  

Nation but no they were in bondage  you can go read Exodus chap 2 verse 24 and you’ll see cuz right in verse 23 it says  and it came to pass in process of time that the   king of Egypt died and the children of Israel  sigh by reason of the bondage and they cried  

And their Cry came up unto God by reason of the  bondage now let’s go to Exodus chapter 6 and verse four it says and I have also established my  Covenant with them to give them the land of   Canaan the land of their pilgrimage where they  were strangers see God established Covenant with  

Them to give them the land of Canaan the land  of their pilgrimage wherein they were strangers   see when you hear Muslims they say they took  their pilgrimage where you think they got that   word from brothers and sisters they go over to  Morocco or something like that and walk across  

The sand and say yeah I took my pilgrimage where  you think they learning these things they took   they stole Muhammad stole a lot of stuff from the  Bible so we see that they learn this stuff in the  

Word of God and then they say well we got to go  over to Saudi Arabia or wherever that place is   and take our pilgrimage once a year every Muslim  supposed to go do this thing but let’s read in  

Exodus chapter 6:3 and I appeared unto Abraham  unto Isaac and unto Jacob by the name of God   Almighty but by my name Jehovah was I not known  to them so that don’t mean God name is Jehovah

Read verse 5 Exodus chapter 6 verse 5 it says and  I have also heard the groaning of the children of   Israel whom the Egyptians keep in bondage and I  have remembered my Covenant so God say he heard  

The groaning of the children of Israel why cu  the Egyptians kept them in bondage Bond bondage   means slavery and I have remembered my Covenant  see now that was genes I mean that was Exodus 6 and5 Exodus 19

And5 Exodus 19 and5 now therefore if ye will  obey my voice indeed and keep my Covenant then   ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all  people for all the Earth is mine no the Indians  

Own it no the um Black Wall Street what about  um what about um what about um the the the the   red Summers and all this stuff Kanye was talking  about all the Earth is mine I thought people can  

Own land now therefore if ye will obey my voice  and deed and keep my Covenant then ye shall be   a peculiar treasure unto me above all people for  all the Earth is mine did they keep the Covenant   brothers and sisters how many wives Solomon  had there goes your answer right there all

Calling oursel a church taking ties and offerings  that’s robbery but let’s continue 24 and verse 7   now we go to 24 and verse 8 it says and Moses took  the blood and sprinkled it on the people and said  

Behold the blood of the Covenant which the Lord  hate made with you concerning all these words so   Moses took the blood sprinkling on the people and  said behold the blood of the Covenant which the   Lord ha made with you concerning all these words  in the beginning was the what the word and the  

Word was with who with God and the word became  what came flesh Exodus 248 go into Exodus 31 and 16 Exodus 31-6 says wherefore the children  of Israel shall keep the Sabbath to observe   the sabbath throughout their generations for a  Perpetual Covenant so they was told to keep the  

Sabbath and keep it holy but when Jesus found  out that they they wasn’t keeping the Sabbath   and the and the priest wasn’t keeping it he went  off on him he had the same type of shame in his  

Heart for them the same way how he caught them  in the temple selling turtle doves and stuff it   was the same frustration that he had when he  seen him doing all this stuff on the Sabbath  

That’s why he never cease to stop working on the  Sabbath 31-6 let’s go into 34 and10 in in Exodus 34:10 and he said behold I make a covenant  before all thy people I will do Marvels such  

As not have been done in all the Earth nor in  any nation and all the people among which Thou   Art shall see the work of the Lord Lord for it  is a terrible thing that I will do with thee

See said it’s a terrible thing this is when God  renews the Covenant right after the second tables   of stone dealing with Moses so that was Exodus  34 and 10 go to Exodus 34 and12 it says take   heed to thyself least thou make a covenant with  the inhabitants of the land wether thou goest  

Least it be for a snare in the midst of thee  so that’s 34 and2 go to 34 and 15 least thou   make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land  and they go aorin after after their gods and do  

Sacrifice unto their gods and one call thee  and thou eat of his sacrifice talking about   sacrificing food unto Idols which are false  gods it said at least thou make a covenant   with the inhabitants of the land and they go a  horing after their gods and do sacrifice unto  

Their gods and one call thee and thou eat of his  sacrifice sacrificing food to Devils now Exodus 34 and 15 y’all Exodus 34 and 27 and the Lord said unto Moses  write thou these words for after   the tenor of these words I have  made a covenant with thee and  

With Israel so this is recording the  Covenant God told Moses write these words then what happened right after that  I’mma read it and he was there with the   Lord 40 days and 40 nights how long did Jesus  fast in the wilderness 40 days and 40 nights  

He did neither eat bread nor drink water and he  wrote upon the tables the words of the Covenant   The Ten Commandments see we learning a lot you  didn’t know that Jesus and Moses both was in the  

Wilderness 40 days 40 nights some of y’all might  have have but let’s go into 34 and2 Exodus chap 34:12 what no I’m a little hold on Exodus 34 and 27 we read that yep so it’s 34 and 28 I’m sorry and he  

Was there with the Lord 40 days  and 40 nights and now we go to Leviticus now we going into Leviticus  chapter 2 and verse 13 chapter 2 and   verse 13 in Leviticus says in every oblation  of thy meat offering shall thou season with  

Salt neither shal thou suffer the salt  of th of the Covenant of thy God to be   lacking from thy meat offering with  all thine offerings Thou shalt offer salt so this is telling you the offerings seasoned   with salt in the New Testament it  talks about we’re the sword of the

World so that was Leviticus chapter 2  and verse 13 moving along Leviticus 26 and9 26 and9 for I will have respect unto you  and make you fruit and multiply you and establish   my Covenant with you this is their reward for  obeying the Commandments they they they be they  

Was redeemed from being servants the Israelites  so this is what they were taught and told at this time now that’s Leviticus 26 and9 now  we goingon to go into Leviticus 26 and5 and if ye shall despise my statutes or if  your soul abhor my judgments so that ye will not  

Do all my Commandments but that you break my  Covenant so if you despise God’s statutes or   if your soul your life come Consciousness  and spirit your soul abhor my judgments so   if you despise God’s statutes or if your soul  abhor God’s judgments so that you will not do  

All my Commandments but that you break my  Covenant this what God say I also will do   this unto you I will even appoint over  you Terror consumption and the burning   of go that shall consume the ey and CA sorrow  of heart and ye shall s your seed in vain for  

Your enemies shall eat it see you don’t want to  turn against the true and living God this is a frightening sight 26:25 Leviticus 26 and 25  says and I will bring a sword upon you that   that shall Avenge the quirrel of my Covenant  and when ye are gathered together within your  

Cities I will send the pestilence among  you and ye shall be delivered into the   hand of the enemy Leviticus 26 and 25  now we going to go into numbers 25 and 13 numbers 25 and3 says and he shall have it and   his seed after him even the Covenant  of an everlasting priesthood because  

He was zealous for his God and made an  atonement for the children of Israel so they talking about a Everlasting priesthood a  covenant of an everlasting priesthood this where   we learn about right after look um Leviticus God  warns him this priesthood is [Music] Everlasting  

But the priest was making sins so a lot of  things were corrupt this is why Jesus came   this what we’re going to read and learn  about soon so that was numbers 25 and 13 y’all that was all we had in numbers  let’s go into Deuteronomy 4 and

13 remember we going through every time  that the word covenant was mentioned in   the scripture so we learning everything all  about the Covenant that God made and then   we’ll learn how it how it changed in the  New Testament what things were different  

But we got a lot to learn Deuteronomy chap  4: 13 and he declared unto you his Covenant   which he commanded you to perform even  Ten Commandments and he wrote them upon   two tables of stone so we’re letting us  know these Ten Commandments was written on Stone Israel was taught to obey

God he declared the Covenant to them  commanded them to perform here in the   Ten Commandments and he wrote them on tables  of stone so it’s no way that they can say we   don’t remember so Deuteronomy 4 and13  y’all go into Deuteronomy 4 and 23 it

Says take heed unto yourselves Le ye forget the  Covenant of the Lord your God which he made with   you and make you a Graven image or the likeness of  anything which the Lord thy God ha forbidden thee  

Say you’ll make you a Graven image not knowing  the Covenant you will fall to these type of things or the likeness of anything  which the Lord thy God ha forbidden thee that was Deuteronomy 4:23 now we going to  continue Deuteronomy 7 and2 and when the Lord  

Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee  Thou shalt Smite them and utterly destroy   them Thou shalt make no Covenant with them  nor show Mercy unto them so this was Israel   being told to destroy the Canaanites  it said don’t even make marriages with

Them it says for they will turn away thy  son from following me that they may serve   other gods so will the anger of the Lord  be kindled against you and Destroy thee   suddenly so but thus shall ye deal with them  you shall destroy their altars and break down  

Their images and cut down their Groves and  burn their graven images with fire so God   was telling Israel the children of Israel  do not make no Covenant with the Canaanites that’s the word in Deuteronomy  chapter 7 and two Deuteronomy 7

And2 so we read Deuteronomy 7 and2 go to 7  and9 y’all it says but thus shall ye deal   with them ye shall all right we read  that Deuteronomy 7:9 Deuteronomy 7:12   it says wherefore it shall come to pass if  ye hearken to these judgments and keep and  

Do them that the Lord thy God shall  keep unto thee the Covenant and the   mercy which he swear unto thy fathers  so that’s Deuteronomy chapter 7 and verse2 said if ye hearken to these judgments and  keep them and do them the Lord thy God shall keep  

Unto thee the Covenant and the mercy which he  swear unto thy fathers they didn’t keep these   judgments and do them they didn’t hearken  to these judgments this is why we needed   Jesus to come to free all these Israelites  out of the bondage of the law of the curse  

That they were under this is why many Jews  started following Jesus when they heard and   seen how what he preached about and they knew  that he was the prophet cuz they knew this word so that was Deuteronomy 7 and2 let’s go to 8 and

18 but Thou shalt remember the Lord thy God for  it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth   that he may establish his Covenant which he swear  unto thy Fathers as it is this day Deuteronomy  

8:18 go to Deuteronomy 9 and9 it says when I was  going up into the mount to receive the tables of   stone even the tables of the Covenant which the  Lord made with you then I Abode in the mount 40  

Days and 40 nights I neither did eat bread  nor drink water so it’s letting us know he   gone up into the mount to receive the tables  of stone that most Moes first Drew well this   is God giving Moses two Stone tablet tablets  even a tablet of the Covenant which the Lord  

Made with you then I Abode in the mount 40 days  and 40 nights neither I neither did eat bread nor   drink water so the Lord delivered unto Moses  two tables of stone written with the Finger  

Of God and on them was written according to all  the words which the Lord spake with you in the   mount out in the midst of the fire in the day of  the assembly so these stones that was used to to  

Teach the law and teach God’s Commandments and  God gave him to Moses so that was Deuteronomy   9 and9 that was important Deuteronomy 9 And1 and  it also talked about the 40 days and it came to  

Pass at the end of 40 days and 40 nights that  the lord gave me the two tables of stone even   the tables of the Covenant just started watching  Which chapter T we calling out chapters and verse

9:15 so I turned and came down from the mount and  the mount burned with fire and the two tables of   the Covenant were in my two hands this is dealing  with the golden calf Egypt corrupted themselves  

They turned they turned aside out of the way which  Moses commanded them they made a molten image so that was Deuteronomy 9 and what was that Deuteronomy 9 and 15 yeah but  right there it says in um Deuteronomy 9 and13 it  

Says furthermore the Lord spake unto me saying  I have seen this people and behold it is a stiff   neck people stiff neck people mean they didn’t  keep these laws and Commandments it was hard to   get them to keep these laws and Commandments stiff  neck they think they know everything not God’s  

Way but their way their God told them what to do  but let’s go into 10 and8 let’s go to Deuteronomy   chapter 10 ver8 it’s talking about at that time  the Lord separated the tribe of Levi to Bear the  

Ark of the Covenant of the Lord to stand before  the Lord to minister unto him and to bless in   his name unto this day so this still dealing with  the priest Aaron and the priesthood Levi sons of Levi go into Deuteronomy 17 and2

Deuteronomy 17 and2 if there be found among  you within any of thy Gates which the Lord thy   God giveth thee man or woman that hate wrought  wickedness in the sight of the Lord thy God and   transgressing His Covenant let me read the next  chapter I mean next verse and Hai gone and served
