Phi Delta Theta Returns to the University of Cincinnati
On April 6, 2024, the Ohio Theta Emerging Chapter at the University of Cincinnati was officially reinstalled. Originally founded in 1898, Ohio Theta is excited to be back on campus. Efforts to return began back in November 2022.
The chapter house was filled to near capacity, with members, volunteers, alumni, General Headquarters staff, parents, and friends of the chapter in attendance. General Council Treasurer Nat Love presented the thirty-two initiates their charter in-front of a crowd of family, friends, and other local chapters.
Supporting the General Council Treasurer were General Headquarters staff members Director of Member Success Todd Simmons and Director of Systems John Fenner. Also in attendance was Province President Walter A. Cole, Hanover ’80, and House Corporation President Steve Jung, Cincinnati ’89.
After the ceremony took place, the newly installed chapter and its guests had a catered lunch at the chapter house and offered tours of the house to those who had not seen the facility yet. Alumni members from various decades attended to celebrate and support the success of Ohio Theta coming back into the fold of Phi Delta Theta.
