Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders: Pennsylvania Theta First-Generation Scholarship
In 2024, the Pennsylvania Theta Chapter of Phi Delta Theta celebrated two significant milestones: its return to Penn State and the first disbursement of its First-Generation Scholarship. Established by alumni through the Phi Delta Theta Foundation, this fund reflects the Fraternity’s enduring commitment to academic excellence and the support of its members.
The Pennsylvania Theta First-Generation Scholarship was created to provide financial aid to first-generation college students in their first year of membership. By addressing the unique challenges these students face, the scholarship has already made a profound impact. To date, $11,200 has been awarded to eight deserving students, positioning them for academic and personal success while contributing to the chapter’s promising future.
