Donor Profile – Nick Scarlatelli
Meet Nick Scarlatelli, Michigan State ’15, a proud Phi and Phi Delta Theta Foundation donor. Nick joined Phi Delta Theta because his father, Mike Scarlatelli, Kettering ’76, is a member. From a young age, his father would bring him to Phi Delta Theta Conventions, inspiring him to follow in his footsteps. He aspired to become a founding father in reestablishing the Michigan Beta Chapter at Michigan State. His involvement with Phi Delta Theta began even before college, and the Fraternity has played a significant role in helping him become the greatest version of himself. The network of brothers has been instrumental in shaping his career aspirations as an investment banker.
Why do you support the Phi Delta Theta Foundation?
I support the Phi Delta Theta Foundation because it is a great cause and the significant impact it can make for other Phis. Hopefully, it will help fellow Phis become the greatest version of themselves.
Why do you think the Fraternity is still relevant today?
Phi Delta Theta is relevant today because it has strong core values and a strong stance regarding hazing prevention, and it is becoming a more diverse and inclusive Fraternity.
What advice do you have for current students?
Phi Delt lasts well beyond college. Take advantage of all the opportunities to attend conferences such as Kleberg or Convention and participate in your local Greek life activities. The people you bond with during your college career will create friendships for life.
