I’m an ordained minister and so I was just like you know there I had so much there was so much conflict in me about how to reconcile being a Kappa man while being a kingdom man and the Lord told me the reason why you’re having so much
Tension trying to reconcile the two is because they were never meant to be reconciled So in this video I actually have a friend that I want to bring on to give his denounce and testimony okay but before I actually get into the video if you have not already hit that subscribe button if you grow one time for the one time so actually

Um and I crossed into Delta in Spring of 2008. so I was a Delta for about 13 12 13 years and God just randomly out of nowhere told me to didn’t to denounce my organization and so um yeah so ever since then I’ve been on this whole denouncing journey of just
Kind of sharing my testimony and sharing what God had revealed about the Greek organizations okay and so God led me to start a denouncing testimony series okay and so this is part one of my DTS denouncing testimony Series so this is part one and I wanted to
Bring my friend on he is a former Kappa okay and so he wants to share his story the holy spirit let me let me give credit words do the Holy Spirit wants him to share his testimony and so I’m going to bring him on now and his name
Is Ashton so everybody Welcome Ashton yay happy here so glad to be today for thank you for putting together you know this series thank you for having the boldness and the courage to do this because we already know you know this is not a this is not a thing that
People take lightly these organizations are very near and dear to a lot of people the backlash that comes with this so I just applaud you and I thank you for your boldness and you know the way that you are really touching a generation so definitely want to give
You your kudos thank you glory to God listen glory to God if God is for us who can be against us okay so we just gonna go forth in boldness and Proclaim what God wants us to Proclaim okay and so this is actually going to be like an
Informal type video because I’m not an interviewer so we’re really just actually just gonna have a conversation on camera okay my question is like so where did you like where did you cross that what year and what actually like Drew you to Kappa yeah so I I crossed Kappa in summer of 2016.
So I kind of have an intern yeah so I kind of have an interesting story Into the organization because and this is why I definitely want to give this uh to give this groundwork because a lot of times I see people who you know when they see people denounced a lot of times
It’s like oh well you know you didn’t really pledge or you don’t really know what’s going on in the organization so I want to you know make it clear so I actually you know I was a paper Kappa for a little about you know paper kappas are what you call people who just
You know paid the money to get in the organization who didn’t really go into the pledging yeah right yes above the ground so you know a lot of times people are just like oh well you know pledging’s not really like that but I just want to make it clear
You know I have a full experience so okay I went to the pwi so I actually graduated undergrad in 2012. so because I went to a pwi I didn’t have the opportunity to pledge undergrad so which is why I pledge uh four years later in
2016. so I live in Connecticut and so I initially joined through uh through an alumni chapter so you know in the capital books and on paper and everything I was a member of an alumni chapter so usually alumni chapters are kind of known to be easier to get into
Just because you know your past you know you’re past college and everything so so I’ll just speak about you know the above ground process is you know a lot of just learning the information about the organization you take the test you interview with the brothers you get past
You pay that very very Hefty fee I think my fee was like it was it was a couple thousand dollars I think it may have been I think it may have been twenty one hundred dollars at the time 41. 20 100 yeah and now you know because I just recently denounced last year
Um it was at like thirty one hundred dollars for brothers who are looking to join at an alumni chapter so that in itself like 31. when I denounced I was like I wanted to ask Kappa if they could refund me my my intake cause I only paid 200 okay now had it
Been two two thousand three thousand I I count me out count me out it’s it’s crazy right so yeah so I crossed in 2016 I was on an alumni line so there were there were six of us so I had you know five other guys that I was going through with it
So we crossed we did the alumni stuff in spring of 2016. but at this time we were still you know early 20s mid-20s so you know we were we and some of the people that I were pledging with they were already familiar with some of the brothers that were part of the
Undergraduate chapter here in Connecticut so you know they were very you know the undergraduate chapter was very clear you know like hey if you guys really want to if you want to be down if you want us to fool with you you know if you really want to get the full you know
Experience of being more respect right being if you want to be a noob because you know that’s the thing with kappa’s it’s like you know a Kappa anybody could pay to be a capital but if you want to be a noob you got to really go in what
They call being made right being made so you know they made it clear to us that hey you know if you really want to do this thing the right way after you guys do the alumni chapter you guys you know need to do the pledging so the undergraduate chapter here they were
Like you know we’ll we’ll pledge you guys during the summer we’ll put you on um you know because they you know they were cool with us and they wanted us they wanted us to get the full experience so they’re like hey we’ll we’ll pledge you guys so we did the whole
You know we did the whole paper thing the alumni chapter and you know they made it very clear to us too that we weren’t really we weren’t really part of the organization until we pledge so they were like you know don’t go posting anything on social media don’t let
Anybody know that you’re a Kappa until you get finished doing the real stuff you did the above ground and then you have to transition to the underground right so how did y’all so how how’d that work because I mean we did ours together yeah so pretty much you know we had to
So you know the interest process for Kappa and I’m sure it’s similar they’re all similar but I’m only going to speak directly specifically to Kappa um you know so for the interest process you have to everything’s very discreet first of all everything is very discreet you can’t let anybody know that you’re
Wanting to be an interest so even the whole approaching a brother it’s like they’re like okay well what do you you know what are you asking me about capital for what do you want to know you know everything’s so discreet so you have to you know just make yourself
Known to the brothers in the area begin to make phone calls that’s a big thing you have to make your phone calls so you’re you’re calling these brothers and you know some of the and this is another thing that’s just irritating because some brothers will be friendly on the
Phone you know they’ll be nice they’ll be ready to have a conversation but then you have other brothers who are like who gave you my number why are you calling me they’ll just some people will just hang up the phone on your face you know they don’t want to talk to you and
They’re trying to see how desperate will you be to put yourself out there to chase after you know the chase after kappa and there’s this Pride because they’re already a Kappa they have something that you want so it’s like okay no you’re gonna play this game with
Me you’re going to do what I tell you to do because I’m you know I’m running the show here so the process is you know a lot of phone calls um making yourself known at events that they throw so you know whether it’s like wine mixers or fundraising making sure
That you’re there if it’s a fundraiser you better make sure that you come you know with a donation or like a toy drive you better come with toys you know you do have to make yourself seem like you are desperate to do whatever you want to
Be part of this whether they call it illustrious organization this illustrious Clan right so that was an interest process and because we already knew Brothers you know we were making phone calls or whatever and so I remember so we went online like so for Kappa Kappa takes like a break in its
Fraternal year so there are maybe two or three months during the summer where there’s no there’s no chapter meetings yes so we pretty much knew like when we were actually going to go online to really start pledging so it was the night after I think it was maybe July
It was the night or maybe June I think it was June because I remember July 4th came on and we were already online July 4th so June the last you know after we finished our last chapter meeting we got the text it was like hey y’all need to
Be here at this time y’all need to be at this house this time here we go so you knew yeah so you knew it was going down like you know this is what we were we were it’s so dumb because you’re excited for something like this you know
Even though you don’t know the full extent of what pledging you know entails you still know you know you know that it’s going to get physical you know that it’s gonna be hard but it’s like you’re excited for this we were excited we were waiting like we were ready like we were
So ready to go online wow and I I have to say like my whole story I don’t remember every single detail you know about pledging and stuff just because some of it I’ve forgotten some of it is just like you know blurry but I will do
My best of kind of telling you know how it went down so the first night we had to be at the brother’s house and so they tell you to get that like say they tell us to get there at 6 30 we show up a little bit early you know we’re parked a
Little bit down the line so they can’t see or whatever just wait until the clock strikes 6 30. so let’s say so let’s say they tell you it’s going to start at 6 30. 6 25 you get a phone call hey we got this amount of Brothers here that are
Hungry y’all need to go get us this y’all need to go with us Popeyes y’all need to go get us this and this and we’re like okay but you said be here at 6 30. the phone you know they hang up so it’s like all right now we gotta go
Rush now we got to go spend our money to buy food get these brothers food or whatever so we went you know we got the food pull back up to the house then they tell you to come in so you march into the house you can’t look them in the eye you know
They’re like don’t don’t eyeball me that’s what they used to say don’t look me in the other night um you know you got to show them respect you got to just come in like you know that you are nothing and they are everything so we get into the room where
You know you gotta line up from shortest to tallest all that type of stuff so you know they told us what to wear and whatever so they started throwing the chicken at us and it’s like you know this is not good chicken and all this stuff they’re just
Trying to intimidate you trying to make you afraid fresh Popeye Chicken that we had just yes so I’m already ticked off so you know you so it’s just like degrading stuff you know just trying to break you down just trying to intimidate you so and again I forget all the stuff
That gets through but at some point in the night you get blindfolded you get thrown into cars you know they separate you from your line so it’s like you know maybe one or two of you are in one car a couple of you are another car that’s right the first night yeah oh
Okay yeah y’all going all the way in the first because we were a summer line too so they had to get it done you know with them so we really only had like the three summer months to kind of get this done okay so you know they were really
Trying to you know just accelerate the process yeah okay so yeah the car you know you’re driving around they’re driving off fast driving crazy whatever and you think you’re going all over the place but really you could just be driving up and down the street um right
So they’re in the car you know like oh we’re gonna go take y’all to see brother so and so he’s mad because y’all ain’t been calling him you ain’t making your phone calls to this so again just trying to intimidate you just trying to make you feel like you know oh I’m really
About to get it after that you know you go into after that they bring you back to the house um you all line up in the usually in the garage or the basement it’s dark you know they take the blindfolds off and then all of a sudden you’re in the room
And there’s just a bunch of Brothers on the other side so it’s like you know you’re on one side and you’re clothing and then you got all the brothers on the other side so they just start talking a bunch of stuff you know like all right are y’all ready to pledge you
Know this is how it’s going to go down excuse me so the first night is kind of like just setting ground rules you know y’all need to be at this time this is the materials you don’t need to get everybody needs to be dressed the same you know you all need to have
Um you know your little tablets they call it your brain right so you can write information you got to have your pins your your red gum it’s just you know just stuff to make you all be one you know they’re trying to force you to be one they’re trying to make you become
Yoked together to be one um so that’s it then after the first night you know you’re like in shock or whatever so you leave with your line Brothers you know you meet every night you have to meet after so you probably end set and we’ll get into what set really is but
You know you leave set maybe around one or two o’clock you go and regroup with the online Brothers talk about what happened talk about you know what you need to do for tomorrow and then you go to sleep you wake up and soon as you wake up you’re in darkness like you are
Anxious you are worried because you have to make these phone calls you know and you have to you have to learn the information that you were given the night before you know you’re worried about am I going to get a task you know a brother could
Call you at any moment in the day and be like hey I need this I need lunch or I need you to come do my laundry I need you to come mow my you know do whatever you’re just on edge you’re on edge all day and so obviously you know
Undergraduates who are doing this they’re over they’re walking on campus so you know you have to worry about going to class you can’t walk on the grass you can’t be seeing all this other stuff my line Brothers my former Line brothers and I and I only say former
Just because I’m not you know a Kappa anymore the love my former Line brothers you know we’re still great friends but um you know you we were professionals so it’s like we had jobs we’re going to work and we’re trying to you know still maintain a level of professionalism not
Let anybody see you what you’re doing um while doing all this stuff so so throughout the process were there any like red flags to you at that time about oh yes yes so I didn’t even want to pledge because I was just like I was like I don’t want
To do this you know this is just dumb but you know my line was so my line was unique because somebody and uh somebody in our line um was actually a pull Mark of an alumni chapter because he had been a Kappa for so long but never got the opportunity to
Pledge it’s like he was kind of forced into doing the situation and so we were kind of just like you know we really wanted to support him but there were a lot of red flags you know even just the physical part I was like this is dumb
Like you know like what like why are we doing this yeah um just yeah just why are we doing this the fact that we had to you know bow your head every time you heard the word Kappa you had to Bow your head bow your head you know what type of
Foolishness is that that we have to bow at the name of capital when the scripture says at the name of Jesus every knee is going to Bow but these organizations you have to bow at Kappa Delta Alpha whatever it is so that was a
Big red flag for me um but at the time okay go ahead I bet at the time I wasn’t really like a I would say I was a very carnal believer and I wasn’t I wasn’t in my word I didn’t have a prayer life I was I was at
Church on Sundays after being in the club on Sunday night so oh on Saturday night it’s a Saturday night right now wow okay so but so even though you were carnal you still was like bowing that Kappa is weird and getting beat is weird like pledging all together is just weird
Like that was the whole even though you know I didn’t have a great relationship with the Holy Spirit now as I have this understanding I can see that it was him trying to convict me trying to you know stir something up in me but because we
Didn’t have that intimacy at the time it was so it was so easy for me to ignore him because I was like you know me and you me and holy spirit were not cool yeah it was easy for me to ignore you or this conviction doesn’t really bother me
Because I’m still so carnal I’m still such a babe in Christ I wasn’t even on milk at that point I was just doing the bare minimum that’s not right yeah the holy spirit is f asking me to ask you was there a night where like you could sense like something demonic was happening
Um like I remember there was one night where I go ahead where I almost dropped I almost dropped line like we were nine that’s what’s the night so we were in the garage right and I was like there was just some I couldn’t get dressed I
Looked at my alarm Brothers I was like yo I can’t do this anymore so I actually know I had put on my set clothes and then I was just like you know what I’m over this I started taking my clothes off I was putting back my normal clothes
Because you you walk into the house with one outfit you change into your outfit to pledge and then before you leave the house you have to change so just in case anybody sees you going in and out this house you know you’re not giving off any suspicion
Um so I think it was just I don’t know if it was any one particular ritual because again I wasn’t really Discerning it that much but it was more so just like this is foolishness like why are we coming here over and over just to get
Beat up yeah just to get ridiculed to get abused like this is not Brotherhood yeah you know and now that I have this Revelation again if you read Romans chapter 12 it speaks about being what it means to be a real Christian and we’re going to be in a Christian organization
That’s based on Christian principles yeah you know there’s a disconnect here there’s no love here I was like this is not this is not Brotherhood so there was one night you know where I was like all right I’m I’m done but you know you you wanna you wanna you
Wanna finish it you you started it then you know they talked you up like oh you’re almost done you know y’all did all this work like oh we fool with y’all like we we really like y’all we want y’all to be down so it’s like you know you get pulled back into it
Um my Lord so you go through the process you cross how does your life change like now that you are new so especially for me so I was a homebody um I went to college out of state as well so I wasn’t really like known around here and Connecticut is very
Small too so the social scene is small there’s not a lot of black people in Connecticut so the black Social Scene is very small and then you know the Greek life everybody knows everybody yeah so all of a sudden you know I’m just I have all these people that know me now it’s
Like you have an access to this social life where it’s like okay before you were in the bars you know you just walk into the bar but now when you walk into the party you know you go you’re a noob you got your letters on you got your
Jacket on like every all the kappas are here you know the office of her everybody knows you it’s all this attention yeah so you know you would just have access to so much more attention and again because I know when people watch these videos oh well Kappa
Didn’t make you do this I I don’t say Kappa made me do anything it’s just that if I had more access is what these organizations open up the door to and what they endorse what they endorse what they stand by oh when did you decide to like denounce like how was that journey
Of like you know Crossing and then coming out of the org yeah so I would say the journey kind of started with me back in 2018. okay so 2018 I really really rededicated my life to Christ like for real that was when I really I had an encounter with Jesus
Um you know I had a very radical just like transformation in my life so I began to really that was when I was in my word I was praying every day like I was ingesting sermons you know like I was binge watching sermons um you know
Just really hungry for God I was so hungry for God and I feel like when you first have that encounter with God you know you are so desperate to please him you are so desperate just to to get rid of things that are not pleasing to him
So in 2018 you know I began to read my word and stuff and so at that time things just began to Kappa just immediately began to be like you know a little bit distant for me you know we also had some things going on in our chapter where
We had an incident where somebody got hurt somebody had to go to the hospital and so the way that I saw some brothers react to it you know it was like whether or not this person decided to Pledge yes because we all make the decision to
Pledge on our own nobody forces us to pledge we make that decision but you know that’s not somebody’s child that’s not somebody’s brother and to see not just younger men but to see how some grown men were talking about him the way that grown men were reacting to the con
To the you know to the situation it just kind of really turned me off so I just I was you know I’ve been here to take a step back from Kappa immediately so I wasn’t attending um you know chapter meetings I wasn’t paying my dues or anything um
So I’m just began to like really take a step back from Kappa and I remember I would see denouncing videos and I would always be like I wasn’t I wasn’t angry at them I wasn’t like oh they’re Wacker they’re just whatever I really I really understood them but at the time I was
Like okay God God’s not telling me to do that but I see where they’re coming from so you are one of those it’s your conviction right I was just like you know that’s hey if that’s where you are like right you know I agreed with everything
That we’re saying but I was just the person was like it’s not that deep to me yeah or I had to my thought was like you know because I took a step back because I removed myself I was like okay I’m not active so yeah I was like I’ll just be
In the background you know I’ll be the brother that kind of is a spiritual advisor or a spiritual counselor to people you know that we all tell us they’ll say that but fast forward to last summer 2022 uh the beginning of August God had asked me to go on a fast
And I was just like I don’t want to fast so I knew there was like a reason because I had fasted a lot that year um so the Lord asked me to do a Daniel Fast and you know people aren’t familiar with Daniel fast as like an intense
Intense 21 day fast where you pretty much you know you don’t eat any meat sweets whole grain you know it’s really really strict so I was like I’m not trying to do that in the summer but I was like okay I’m going to be obedient
To the voice of the Lord and so on the last day of my fast as well or the day after my fast ended it just so happened that that was the day that one of my former Line brothers was getting married so I was like you know
Okay God well you know at least I’ll be ready to you know be at the wedding I could you know eat what I want enjoy the wedding or whatever so during the fast the first couple days I was just I kind of had attitude with
God I was like okay well what am I fasting for like why are you asking me to fast if I’m going to fast this is what I want to see because a lot of times we go into faster we’re like okay I’m fasting for this I’m fasting for this specific breakthrough
And yes God will you know God will respond to a fast he will do breakthroughs and stuff but the point of a fast at the end of the day is for closer intimacy from to God and to hear from the Lord so probably halfway into the
Fast I was just like okay God what you know what do you want for me in this fast what are you trying to get to me and so this is like I feel like if anything if I had like you know a key verse of my coming out of
Kappa it was Psalm 19 12 and 14 and I know we not at Bible study but I’m gonna get my job Psalm 19 12-14 okay okay I asked the Lord what did he want out of this fast he brought me to the scripture and so this is what the scripture reads in the
NLT version it says how can I know all the sins lurking in my heart cleanse me from these hidden faults keep your servant from deliberate sins don’t let them control me then I will be free of guilt and innocent of great sin May the worth of my mouth and the meditation of
My heart be pleasing To You O Lord my rock and my redeemer and so he just told me he said begin to ask me about the hidden sins in your life so I just began to pray the next couple days you know like Lord purify my heart I
Want to be pure I want to know you know if there are sins that I don’t even know about reveal them to me so that I can come to you and ask you to help me to let go of them right you got to be careful when you
Pray that prayer because you know once God reveals it to you now you have to respond to it yeah so immediately Kappa just came to the surface Kappa came to the surface immediately yeah and so then I was like okay God are you being like are you really about
To make me be one of those people that denounce like are you like I was like are you really I was like no am I really gonna have to go public in with it and all this other stuff but I feel like right away I knew
That the Lord was like you have to come out because for a while you know in this time of 2018 to last summer 2022 I had really like I had to really began to to grow my relationship with the Lord you know I was serving in Ministry um I’m an
Ordained minister and so I was just like you know there I had so much there was so much conflict in me about how to reconcile being a Kappa man while being a kingdom man and the Lord told me the reason why you’re having so much tension trying to reconcile the two is
Because they were never meant to be reconciled that’s right yeah and so I was just like I have to let it go and then so during this time you know while I’m so after the Lord had told me to that Capital was one of those things you know it was you
Know you go in that back and forth like okay how serious this is this or you know what are the reasons why at that time I also help out with the youth ministry at our church the lord gave me a vision of individual like specific I saw their
Faces a vision of some of my students because I deal with our teenagers he gave me a vision of some of our students in a garage pledging and then they asked each other they looked at each other and said well Minister Ashton did this so it must be
All right oh now and I was just like you know I cannot have that type of blood on my hands you know I have to Steward this influence properly the way that God has allowed especially when it comes to children we have to be so careful about
What we approve and what we affirm to them that is okay and so and speaking of that you know I’ll just Ezekiel chapter 3. Ezekiel chapter 3 verse 16. this is when the prophet Ezekiel was being called into his calling you know the Lord was asking first of all see the
Thing is with a lot of profits now the only thing that they want to prophesy is cars houses monies and so when people hear a prophet who’s saying something that’s Stern that’s saying something that’s not popular come on now and you know it’s like it’s not a profit that’s
You know you you’re doing too much if you read the Bible prophets came with a warning prophets don’t advice profits came to warn you and to call you out before God released his judgment and I know we’re we’re not going to get on this but if you see every if you see
What’s been happening with this whole beehive and this whole prophetic warning that came out about Beyonce and you even had a video about it you know a couple as well see how how the culture is reacting to the voice of a prophet that’s coming against something that’s so culturally acceptable
It’s open this is what God told Ezekiel about you know speaking what he said to speak he said son of man I have appointed you as a Watchman for Israel whenever you receive a message from me warn people immediately if I warn the wicked saying you are under the penalty of death but
You failed to deliver the warning they will die in their sins and I will hold you responsible for their deaths and so as believers as prophets as ministers as people who are serving God when God tells us to do something when God tells us to speak a
Word and if we don’t speak that then we are now how responsible now we have a responsibility for not doing because yes we are yes we all work our own salvation with fear and trembling but there is still a level of accountability when God has given you influence how we’re
Gifting anointing you have to Steward that well and you are what does Jews say to tell us to snatch our brothers and sisters out of the fire and so we have responsibility people always say well why don’t you just denounce and keep it to yourself why don’t you just go on
With your life I am going on with my life and I’m going to speak boldly and courageously and speak I don’t care who likes it we have to speak the truth of God in season and out of season and so you know I’m not going to be quiet with
It I’m not going to you know just walk around and act like it never happened because how excited are we to publicly post our Instagram posts about when we cross and all that other stuff that’s it oh that was one thing the Lord told me
You know he was like you know as as a bone and as public as you were going in I want that same energy coming out so that’s why I speak about it publicly that’s why I will continue to speak about it publicly until the day that I die amen [Applause]
Word of God that’s what I’m talking about you got that fine Lord coming out come on now that’s what I’m talking about that’s what he call us all to be like though he called us all to be speaking out against unjust and unrighteousness and unholiness we are
Supposed to have that same we gotta exposed wickedness we have to impose the wickedness we all supposed to be exposing wickedness but a lot of people is involved in wickedness and so how can you expose something that you’re involved in and you don’t you don’t even
Know is wicked and it’s so subtle and Ephesians 5 Ephesians 5 8 and 11 says this Ephesians chapter 5 verses 8 through 11. for once you were full of Darkness but now you have a light from the Lord so live as people of light for this Light Within You produces only what
Is good and right and true carefully determine what pleases the Lord take no part in the worthless Deeds of evil and darkness instead expose them expose it that’s the word so you standing on the word foreign that’s why you know when we when I do this type of stuff and when we talk
About this type of things yes we all have personal opinions because a lot of people will say oh you just had a bad pledging experience you know it’s not about because if you regardless of the pledging regardless of because every chapter pledges differently you know every people get down differently or
Whatever but it’s the rituals it’s the rituals that are coming into you know exact opposite of what the word of God says so yes the pledging is bad I will never say that the pledging is good but on top of the pledging the ritual is what these organizations are based on
Are wicked yeah did you wanna did you want to highlight some of the rituals because I know somebody I can expose do you want to you want to highlight a few one or two yeah I’ll go into a few because so I don’t I threw all my stuff
Away so I don’t have my ritual book anymore but you can if anybody wants to search them you can find the rituals of Kappa Alpha Psi you do a Google search it is on Google it’s online and so this is another thing too because we have to
Be we have to be aware that some of this stuff a lot of this stuff is so subtle it’s so hidden and so because another thing you always and we were I was probably one of them you were probably one of them oh I’m not worshiping a God
I’m not worshiping Greek gods I don’t worship Kappa I don’t bow the Kappa although we did about to the name you know we say that stuff because we think that we’re not in a church like we think of worship we think of worship on Sundays when we go to the to the church
And so because we don’t go to a happen in worship even though there are hymns and stuff to Kappa you know there are hymns where we sing praises to these organizations there’s him we have prayers as well right the alphas have a prayer yes okay go ahead a lot of this stuff is
Just so subtle but so I’ll just touch on some of the basic or some of the popular things because um you know so Kappa is known to have the association with the god Apollo yeah and a lot of people will say oh no there’s nothing about Apollo we don’t
Worship Apollo and all this other stuff so let me just break it down come on SO in the rituals this is and I’m reading exactly from the rituals and so if you want to know where this come from I am reading from the rituals of

Altar is the shrine first of all if we know in the Old Testament like altars were made for sacrifice unto whatever that altar was for the altar was a place of worship the altar was a place of remembrance of what God had did for people so when you make an altar unto
Something that is the thing that you are reverencing and worshiping and so Kappa Alpha Psi is saying that they have an altar of Kappa Alpha Psi so this altar is to make sacrifice to make reverence and to make worship to Kappa Alpha Psi and so it says the sacred delphic shrine
The delphic the delphix shrine and I don’t even know if I’m pronouncing it right I don’t even care so the altar the delphic shrine and so this all has to do with Apollo because the temple where Apollo is worshiped is in Delphi and so the altar the delphic
Shrine is where the Greeks went to worship the god Apollo Kappa Alpha Psi is saying that their initiates are going to go to this altar of Kappa Alpha Psi the sacred delphic Shrine the delphic shrine the altar of Kappa Alpha Psi is also the altar of
Apollo yeah see how the enemy is so deceptive and he tries to make it seem trying to just push that part out of the way and call it the altar of Kappa Alpha Psi instead so we’ll just say things like oh you know it’s just a it’s just the altar
That cap is used no this is an altar that was used to worship the god Apollo it’s right here in the ritual in the ritual book yeah 100 and you just get like you get a righteous indignation to think about how you were so when I think about how I was
Deceived yeah when I first announced there was like a grieving in me because I was like God I cannot believe that I did those things to you I can’t believe that I would disrespect you in a way like that I can’t believe that I was making these oats and these covenants
Unknowingly but I still can’t believe you know that I did that like that I did that to you yeah when you have a heart for the Lord they should grieve you it Grieves my spirit it next is my spirit and so we have to uh this stuff it needs
To be called up yeah 100 and so Apollo is the Greek god you know he’s supposed to be the son of Zeus right he’s the god of archery music dance truth and prophecy and healing and diseases and so the Greeks also they also said that Apollo was the most beautiful
Was the most beautiful god well he was the pretty boy why do you think kappa’s always call themselves pretty boys yeah so you see these things are so subtle and even though you don’t you may not say it with your mouth when you make that Covenant with that spirit
That spirit is now influencing your mind so whenever you don’t even have to call yourself that but that spirit is you have you have opened the door you have made an open portal for that Spirit to now enter into you enough so now that’s why you’re calling yourselves pretty
Boys that’s why you’re saying things you know like oh nuke or Japan you ever see that you know the Japan flag just another pretty I know what I mean it’s all so intertwined and it’s so intricate and it’s so deep where you really have to research these things to
Know it and so when you a part of the interest process they tell you to do your research but this is not the research they want you to do they want you to research to know the founders to know all the lines and all the colors and all that foolishness but they don’t

On any brothers because they are only doing what they have been taught and they are only being led by the spirits that are in this you know in these organizations some of these prayers say the spirit of fraternity the spirit of fraternity is wicked it is perverted
It’s not the spirit of fellowship or Brotherhood that the Lord speaks about everything that the if we look in the Bible everything that God has set up the Kingdom of Light the enemy Satan has mimicked it with the kingdom of darkness so when we see things that look like they are Christian
Principles it’s because the enemy is mimicking and trying to deceive the children of God that’s why we have to be so aware that’s why we have to be so filled with the Holy Spirit and that’s why we have to ask the Lord I don’t
Think any of us ask the Lord you know if it’s okay for us to pledge these organizations I never asked the Lord if it was okay and then we say things like oh God kept me through it yeah because he’s he’s graceful and he’s merciful he’s showing
Us Mercy but just because God allowed it don’t think that God was pleased with it God was not pleased with anything that happened during our pledging process none at all not not none peace of it was pleasing to God not at all and so you know that’s just that’s the main thing
You know where we talk about Kappa being associated with Apollo that delphic Shrine that altar of Kappa Alpha Psi it is unto the god Apollo yeah so we know God told Moses you know you guys should have no other God to before me first commandment and so I want to read a couple
Scriptures from acts because again it’s so easy to be like oh it’s not that big deal or you know these Greek gods are just it’s just mythology you know it’s just a story you don’t have to you don’t have to worry about it but if you go to Acts chapter 14 verses
8 through 18 and I won’t read the whole thing for time but it’s talking about how Paul and Barnabas when they were forming the early church you know when they were going out preaching the gospel they had a miracle and so after after Paul performed the miracle the people started calling the
People because they were so amazed at the power of God they started saying oh Paul and Barnabas they must be Greek gods they literally called Barnabas Zeus and they called Paul Hermes and so they literally used the same Greek names that we are saying are no big deal people
Paul and Barnabas calling them these names and when they call them this Paul and Barnabas reaction is they tore their clothing which was a sign of deep regret and remorse and they said this is what Paul said he said friends why are you doing this we are merely
Human beings just like you we have come to bring you the good news that you should turn from these worthless things and turn to the Living God Paul and Barnabas said that these Greek gods are worthless things when they were when these people acknowledge them that’s Greek gods they denounced them they
Renounced them they cast that’s why the scripture says we cast down vain imaginations we take false Doctrine captive Into The Obedience of Christ so this this whole thing all these rituals these are false doctrines that need to be cast down that need to be taken into captivity we need to break down these
Strongholds in the name of Jesus we have to speak to these things and rebuke them and so that’s what we’re doing you know it’s not just because we woke up one day and decided to us against the world who wants to wake up and just like go to war yeah
And we talked about it’s just so we just have to understand that this is serious to God this is serious it’s not just you know how many people say oh well it doesn’t matter you know you were just saying those pledges you were just you were just reciting a poem
Whatever let me tell you what Jesus himself said Jesus said in Matthew 12 was it 37 mm-hmm it’s 36 and 37 he says and I tell you this you must give an account on Judgment Day for Every Idle Word you speak the words you say will either
Acquit you or condemn you so every time we said those Idle Words and are pledging every time we said those Idle Words of giving reverence to Kappa Alpha Psi and whatever other organization we have to give an account to God for that so if Jesus is telling us that Every
Idle Word on Judgment Day that’s a big thing at least as a Believer it should be a very big thing so we have to be so aware of these Idle Words that we’re saying these aren’t just Idle Words these aren’t just play Oaths that we’re making you know yeah these are serious things
Yeah and AKA talk about it’s a serious matter this this is a very serious matter why y’all playing this the real serious matter it’s very serious to God eternity where are you going where your salvation is serious and this don’t get McDonald’s but anywho okay so you decide to denounce and what happens
Okay so after you know after uh so I’m doing the fast God has made it clear to me that I need to denounce um so one day so during this time again my my former Line brothers wedding was at the end of my fast so during this
Time he’s texting us you know asking us if we can get together practice strolls for the wedding and stuff and you know that’s when it really started to hit me because I was like that is not my identity you know I don’t want to be at the wedding
Um you know it just didn’t fit me anymore and no condemnation to anybody else you know there’s no condemnation in Christ only conviction but you know I was just like that’s not me where I am with God like I don’t want to be publicly you know I just can’t do it anymore
So before the fast was over you know I met up with all my you know the whole line well not the whole line because you know we were all trying to get together and stuff but I did tell my line first before doing anything I was like you
Know I love you as a brother you know obviously I want to be at your wedding to support you our Brotherhood you know will always be the same but me where I’m at with my walk with God I can no longer be part of this organization and they weren’t even all the way
Surprised because they were like you know what Ashton you have been you know you felt this way about Kappa for for some years now you’ve already been off campus so they received it they were like you know this is what God is telling you to do you got to do what you
Got to do and we’re going to love you we’re going to support you regardless so so that was you know that was the easy part um so I was like you know I’m gonna wait until after the wedding is over just so you know whatever because I don’t want
To cause a big scene at your wedding and all this other stuff so I think probably like the day before maybe three or four days before my fast ended I opened up YouTube because I work from home so usually when I’m working from home I have on like a sermon or just
Something playing like worship music or something so you know when you go to YouTube usually your suggestions will be things that you have been watching things that you’ve already been you know trending or whatever I had not watched anything Greek in years I had not been watching anything Greek in years this particular
Day I open up my YouTube and the first suggested video is a video that’s titled God is calling me to denounce my sorority okay God and it was it was 40 minutes long so I was just like I don’t even feel like watching this long old video
But the Lord was like I put that there for a reason yeah so I watched it yeah yeah she she had a powerful testimony so I watched that video and then after that I was like okay God like because at that point I was still kind of like okay
God are you do I really need to do this or you know how public do I need to do but after I finish watching that video I was so convicted I was like everything that she said I know it’s the truth I have similar experiences so I was like
God I am done so in that moment I went to my closet prayed a prayer of repentance I started repenting renouncing I started breaking coats I started breaking um you know soul ties any covenants any altars I prayed a prayer of repentance and a Deliverance Prayer and then after that I
Started running around my house like crazy Gathering up all my para grabbed I grabbed a trash bag put it all in you know one bag everything that I could find um and I was like okay I got to get rid of this ran outside took the plates off
My car I was like you know I’m done all my IP cards and that’s you know when I wrote on my card or whatever to make my post um but yeah so that was the process and even still there was some pair that I knew I didn’t couldn’t find right away
So it was like a couple weeks of the Holy Spirit I need you to reveal everything that’s still trying to hide and linger around here um but yeah so after the wedding you know I um started making phone calls to some other brothers some older brothers just
Letting them know you know where I was at what the Lord was telling me to do it was all received well you know because there were some brothers that I really respected had great relationships with but it was still hard to kind of it was hard to have that conversation because
Brothers who helped you get in now you’re like you know all everything that you did for me to get in now I’m leaving um but it was well received you know the brothers were great they were so like you know you’re you’re a brother to us regardless of the letters so you know
We’ll still worry about our relationship being tinted or anything um so then I had to I thought I was done I was like all right God I’m gonna just make my post and that’s gonna be it that’s how I’m gonna tell everybody else but the Lord
Was like nope you know the same way that you approach other brothers you know you still need to and not even that I owed anybody anything but it was like you need to move with honor and you need to move with respect because you know you
Did you did respect some of the brothers regardless if it was Kappa or not you know you you you cared for the brothers yeah I sent a text to you know to the chapter the chapter that I did the underground process with because I had a
Chat a couple years ago but I had my one of one of the brothers on my line I had to add me back into our chapter chat uh you know I wrote out like this long thing in my notes just kind of like saying you know this is where I’m at
With my walk with God you know I felt like the Lord is just calling me out you know as as I’m moving Ministry all this other stuff I’m just letting them know what God was telling me to do so I texted the the group chat uh with the undergraduate chapter
You know some brothers did reach out to me individually like you know hey I still respect you as a man don’t have to worry about it or whatever um so no one said anything vile or you know like rude or anything to me it was you know they all understood now whether
It was like that in the background what I don’t know if anybody said anything you know whatever I don’t care but you know it was it was well received um so after that I made the post probably a couple weeks later um I was just like contemplating okay
God so now what like when am I going to make this post when do you want me to make this post and then one day it just became so heavy on my heart I was like all right I gotta make this post now and then just let it be
And the day I made my post one of my friends from Atlanta calls texts me and he’s like hey do you mind if I connect you with um a sister in Christ from my church here because he said after our church service today she felt convicted
To denounce AKA so I was like you know if I had just waited one day not to make like you know to make my post I this this girl who’s looking for a community or just looking for somebody to come for her because it is you know like an
Emotional thing you know just the obedience and the timing of God yeah when I made my post um do a crazy video I mean let’s get into the post because Greek Greek Shenanigans relied on me and tried to defame me and so that’s another thing people who rely
On if you lie on a man or a woman of God speaking the word of God you’re going to be up against the hand of God and so that’s something that you need to I I wanted to be like God get him but the Lord had me pray for Mercy because they
Don’t even know what they’re doing but so I just took a picture of my ID card I wrote void on it and I posted it uh just made a little caption or whatever but Shenanigans um came to my somebody somebody obviously sent it to Greek Shenanigans or whatever because I still had kappas
That were following me that I didn’t even know you know you just end up following capitalism Greek people you just end up following Greeks or whatever so Shenanigans took a snapshot of a picture that I posted just my ID card and then on my profile a couple years
Back I had posted a video of me talking about prayer but in the video I had on a shirt a red shirt and you could tell I had a Greek letters on it but you couldn’t see the Greek letters you could you could see like a little bit of the
Greek letter or whatever and the video was talking about prayer so Greek Shenanigans took a screenshot you know when it’s a video on Instagram it has the triangle so it as is to you know it lets you know it’s a video yeah took a screenshot and posted the two
Photos it acted like I made a video denouncing Kappa while wearing letters and so Greek Shenanigans yeah so they were lying acting like oh and I didn’t even know because I don’t follow Greek Shenanigans so I couldn’t see the caption but people told me that the gist
Of it they were like you know this crazy light skin or whatever made a video denouncing his letters while wearing his letters and so let me tell you what’s so funny about that because I had an SG Road a member of sros I’m not going to call
That her identity but she she’s like you know my brother in Christ trying to clown me she’s like I’m so confused how are you denouncing uh how are you making a denouncing video while wearing letters and I was just like where did you see a video of me denouncing letters because I
Didn’t make a video and she’s like see now you’re now you’re um she was like it’s so clear all she goes it’s very clear in the video you can hear you denouncing your org while wearing letters and I was like okay send me the video because I wanna I was like
I want to see this video at this point like did somebody do some you know amazing type of Photoshop editing or whatever so she sends me a screenshot of just like you know the screenshot because that’s all there was was a screenshot and so I was like you know what just to
Entertain you I went to my profile and I screen recorded what the video actually was sent it back to her and August and all of it she had to say was okay and I’m just like see how easily deceived you were by Greek Shenanigans okay
Sorry you didn’t and all you had to do like you you couldn’t even press play because there was no video but see how easy it was for Greek Shenanigans to deceive you a natural entity how much easier do you think it is for the wicked enemy who has all who still has power
Who still has giftings to deceive you so I had yeah my post um it went on Greek Shenanigans and it went on all the you know the underground Kappa pages on Facebook or whatever so I had so many people in my inbox um I had people calling me anti-black I
Had people calling me Antichrist I had people calling me all types of names I had somebody people old enough to be my grandfather coming at me because I decided to take up this dance you know and denounce the organization that God told me to wow and
So you know the fact that there’s so much anger and the fact that you feel so attached to these organizations when the organization gets attached that just further shows the bond the soul tie how you have yoked yourself together we become one with these organizations and that’s why when somebody attacks your
Organization you feel like you’re being attacked first take it personally because we never going around oh I’m a member of Delta I’m a member of Kappa no you say I’m a Delta I’m a Noob I’m an alpha you know what you call yourself those organizations because you have literally come into Covenant you’ve
Yoked yourself with that thing and become one wow so did anybody did anybody defend you okay so this is actually a good testimony there were some people who who messaged me were like you know I I Know What You Did takes a lot of call
A lot of Courage a lot of bonus so I appreciate you I commend you um I had a bishop reach out to me and was like um you know young brother I commend you for your courage he goes I’m currently still in Kappa and I know that it’s
Compromised but I commend you on your courage to leave and so okay so but this is this is actually the best testimony so two two young women reached out to me they did not know that they they didn’t know you know that they had both reached out
To me and they just happened to be best friends but they didn’t tell each other that they were both reaching out to me they both reached out to me and they were like you know we just appreciate both of the messages were like I appreciate your courage and your boldness to come out
Um you know I haven’t had that because one was a Delta one one was a member of Delta one was a member of AKA and they were both kind of like you know I appreciate your courage while God hasn’t given me that conviction I you know we
Still I still know the courage that it took for you to do that so I commend you so we ended up actually going to the same church conference so we all actually ended up meeting and purposes we all ended up going to the same conference one of the young women she
Actually gifted me a ticket to go to a church conference because she saw on my profile that I had talked about not being able to go um so we met at the church conference had a good time you know we became friends but the best part is probably
Like a month and a half later they both messaged me individually again and said that God had convicted them to now denounce and renounce Delta Sigma Theta and Alpha Kappa Alpha so like literally two months ago they were reaching out to me saying that you know they hadn’t had
That testimony now two months later they’re saying that God has now convicted them look at the low alert yeah and I was just like you know if if it only reaches one person if it only convicts one person then it’s worth it because you don’t know who that one person is going
To reach even if it only to see one person just receive freedom to receive breakthrough you know when you denounce it feels like a weight lifted up off of your shoulders you feel a new level of Freedom you and there’s no there’s more room for the Holy Spirit to
Operate in you now yeah so the week I denounced I was actually I preached at my church um we’d have like literal leadership breakfast on once a month so I was asked to ask to preach a couple laters a couple days after I denounced I had never felt like the power of the
Lord flow through like I was bold I felt more power anointing conviction when I was preaching because now there was nothing inside of me um you know those Idols those covenants have been removed and now there’s more room for the Holy Spirit to flow for me
There’s more room for his power for his Purity to flow through me I hear the voice of the Lord so much Claire now I’m more in even this you know it makes you more bold because like you know if I can do that then I can do the next hard
Thing and so this was just the preparation for the next hard thing like this is this is slight work now so God is just God is just really building up a generation of people who are not afraid to stand up against systems to speak to principalities to tear down
Strongholds and that are not going to be afraid to do it no matter what the culture says yeah um amen I mean I need a little bunny give me the Applause wow this is listen this blessed me I don’t know if it bless you but that’s me you know it just I’m watching
Every time you hear every time I hear somebody else because I’ve been seeing so many other people denouncing and renouncing lately yeah and it just you get happy I get so happy to hear people like being set free I just get so happy to see especially young people just
Being bold for Christ not caring what their culture is going to say um you know because especially as black people I’m not afraid to put it out there we have to stop idolizing and worshiping our Blackness to the point that we are you know not putting aside Christ just because something is black
Does not make it righteous and not make it holy and we cannot worship our melanin more than we worship the Messiah we have to live holy we have to be righteous we have to do what Christ says no matter what cause because at the end
Of the day you know this melanin is not eternal so you know there are parts of my body where I’m losing melanin right now and so I’m like this melanin is not going to last forever now that doesn’t mean that we hate our Blackness I love being black
You know I I love being a black man but at the end of the day I am not a black man first I’m a man of God first who happens to be black and so we cannot Elevate our blackness to the point where we worship our Blackness more and the enemy is so
Tricky because he knows that black people because because of slavery because we’ve been enslaved because so much has been taken from us when we have something that’s our own we have something that’s black when we see things that are black and successful we will look the other way at any cause but
We have to we we have to we have to take a stand at what cause am I willing to compromise just because something is cultural just because something is black just because something is afro-centric whatever it is if it goes against the word of God that means I am

Need a prophet to come and tell us to stop being an idolatry you know what I mean so yes there are times where God will give us a Rhema word when we are in need of one and you know we thank him for Mercy because it was a Rhema word
From God for me you know that helped me to denounce and renounce but we have to stop waiting for God to give us a Rhema word for what his written word has already told us this is just more reason for us to eat the Lord told Ezekiel to
Eat the word of God we have to eat this word of God we have forgot to get deep in this word of God we have to cons oh taste and see that the Lord is good we have to get into the word of God because the word of God is our only weapon
That’s why the word calls it the spirit you know the sword of the spirit we have to know how to hold that sword so that we could fight so that we could use that sword to cut through the lies to cut through the deception that the enemy uses so I just want to
Close I guess I will end with that and I will say a scripture that I’ve been praying a lot that really helps me and that I continuously pray over myself because there may be other things that I’m deceived in um you know we’re never perfect so there
I that’s another thing we don’t claim to be perfect just because we’ve renounced and denounced there are still areas of life where we are struggling still seeking the Lord to perfect us but Ephesians chapter 1 verses 15 through 19 Paul is speaking to Ephesus
You know he says I pray that the eyes of your understanding would be enlightened I’m constantly praying that the Lord will Enlighten the eyes of my understanding so that I can know that I could see any deception any wickedness if there’s anything in me that needs to
Be transformed open up my eyes so that I am not deceived yeah amen amen and is there any advice the holy spirit let me ask you is there any advice you um or any encouragement any encouraging words that you want to give to somebody that you know is a little bit of fearful

Lord told me that he did not want me to bring this wickedness into a marriage and so you know just and not that relationships are the you know everything to life but you know you will begin to hear the voice of the Lord you will and just to
Think about you will one day be the person who’s giving a testimony that other people are looking up to to come and seek and you know to seek and appreciate your boldness and to seek counsel from so know that you are not alone in this You Are Not Alone there
Are other people there are other believers um and if God is asking you to do something just know that he will fight for you yeah excuse me the scripture says that he laid a stone in Zion at Chief Cornerstone and he said that those who trust in him will never be put to
