Welcome to Iowa State University. My name is Melia Romine and I am the current President of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, also known as the NPHC. The purpose of NPHC is to govern over the Divine Nine organizations, which are also the Historically Black Greek Letter Organizations.
Currently on this campus, we have six out of the nine, which include, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated.
My name is Malik Burton and I am the current Vice-President of the Omicron Pi chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated founded on an ICE COLD Tuesday, December 4, 1906 on the campus of Cornell University. Alpha Phi Alpha develops leaders, promotes brotherhood, and academic excellence by providing service and advocacy for our community.
