We present to you a very dope sneaker So this gold and light bordeaux colorway has been dubbed the brotherhood that’s the inspiration behind the sneaker more specifically the fraternity that michael jordan is a part of and has been a part of since his unc days omega sci-fi now i’m not qualified to speak on the
Fraternity in any real detail that would have to come from someone who is a part of that brotherhood but it is one of the most historic african-american fraternities originally founded at howard university in 1911. been around for a very long time and there are a lot of cues i mean jordan obviously
Shaquille o’neal the great shack attack he is also a cue uh bucket who else vince carter is a cue the list really does go on and on i think it’s dope that they created a sneaker like this because there’s real inspiration behind it it’s not some forced storytelling it’s not
Something and you know we see that buckets ah jordan he had a double cheeseburger once when he was in london between games on an off day and so here is the london cheeseburger you know what i’m saying like and it’s not just jordan brand that does it just brands in general because storytelling
Is something that resonates so well sometimes it can be forced a little bit this is not that at all this is based on something that is a big part of michael jordan and who he is and when you think about it right when jordan was playing buckets we talked
About this a little bit when he was playing it was his on court accomplishments that really pushed a lot of those classic colorways you know you think about what he did in you know the cement threes what he did in the sixes you know winning his first
Championship the 11s it’s all on court stuff now that jordan is retired now that he’s not playing basketball anymore i think the need for more genuine stories incorporated into the colorways i just think it matters more just my personal opinion but i think it’s dope
To see and you know if you tune in regularly then you know that we buckets i speak for you as well we talk about storytelling all the time it’s something that we like and we appreciate you know it’s also a jordan one this sneaker specifically which is probably the most popular jordan model
Right now buckets do you agree i do just seems like jordan ones really cannot miss so that’s even the inspiration aside it really is a dope looking sneaker now something to note as well is even though these did sell out the resale prices are not crazy at all you
Know nothing is more frustrating than loving a sneaker wanting a sneaker and boom it sells out but it’s so hyped up it’s so sought after or limited whatever that it becomes very unobtainable these crazy resale prices so i’ve seen these going for right around that low 200
Range which is not bad at all the quality on them is pretty nice as well this light board dough is a really smooth leather as you can see Same with the white it’s kind of that standard thin white leather And then the gold is a little bit more tumbled you see it especially on the toe box You’ve got the light bordeaux laces there are two extra sets of laces as well you got that standard nylon tongue super classic feel Nike air front and center wings logo on the ankle and you’ve almost got like a sweatpant type material on the interior crispy white midsole and that all gold bottom I really dig them i think jordan brand did a very nice job and like i said it’s hard not to love ones it’s hard for me not to love ones anyway you know to me i think it is arguably the best sneaker ever created i just feel like it’s a timeless look
And i’m almost just now appreciating them fully buckets jordan one has to be in the discussion for greatest sneakers ever for sure but i wouldn’t say i’m just now realizing that no i didn’t say i just now realize that i say i’m just now fully appreciating the
Jordan one yeah i appreciate it fully yesterday day before et cetera so you were early to the party i’m late to the party that’s what you’re saying no i wasn’t really early to the party i didn’t grow up loving once no no no me neither and we’ve talked about this in
