It’s Black History Month and a large portion of our culture is the National pan-hellenic Council also known as the divine 9 it consists of nine sororities and fraternities so we’ll be represented today by two of our beloved Arabian male teachers miss Hart and miss Johnson first we have Delta Sigma Theta which
Derived from Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and was founded in 1913 by 22 women and Howard University my name is Stephanie hunt and I’m a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated we are a community service organization and we believe in giving back giving back to the community that is our main thrust
But giving back to the community on different levels yes we have Sigma Gamma Rho Jack 1s Johnson I’m a member of Sigma Gamma Rho sorority incorporated okay we were founded by seven schoolteachers and we are the only black sorority that was founded at a non HBCU which is a historically black college or
University we were found at Butler University Indianapolis Indiana was about community service and giving back we really focus on women and children and we really focus on health issues and our motto is greater service greater progress to learn more about these sororities flow to Delta Sigma Theta org and SG row 19:22 org
