WHY I RENOUNCED DELTA SIGMA THETA SORORITY

Hey guys it’s your girl G Renee and I thought I’d make this video um basically to inform those who are interested why I chose to renounce my membership in the sorority called Delta Sigma Theta why did I choose to withdraw officially withdraw my membership from this black Greek letter organization that many know

Um was founded upon Howard University where I was a student in the late 80s and came out in 1990 where many of you know several organizations were founded there or Came Upon the campus and started black Greek letter organizations back in in the early 1900s basically and so initially

Um when we find out about these type of organizations we normally don’t know exactly what we’re getting ourselves into until you actually get into the process and that’s because there’s a lot of secrecy involved in fact that’s why they call them secret societies you may hear of

Them as Greek orgs being Greek or just secret society sororities fraternities panhellenic organizations these are just some of the different names you may have heard of for those who who are not familiar I just want to kind of break it down so you understand that it is specifically for black Greek letter

Organizations when you get involved in the college Arena or even post College it’s something that most people tend to stay involved with in other words they tend to make it lifetime commitment as opposed to a lot of your white Greek letter organizations when they Pledge on our college campuses it can they leave

It at College when they graduate or when they leave College they’re no longer they no longer have involvement so specifically today talking about a black Greek letter organization the one that I pledged in 19 1988 called Delta Sigma Theta and first of all I need to thank

God for basically opening my eyes to the truth spiritually because oftentimes we can be we can have blindfolds on spiritually be spiritually blinded because when we enter into various covenants we don’t realize the series the seriousness of covenants and God takes covenants very serious and if you know anything about the difference

Between good and evil if you are a Believer um there’s the way way God sees altars and Covenants and when I say altars I’m referring to a-l-t-a-r-s and Covenants he takes those things very serious and and let’s just go ahead and and basically start with a

Factual truth if you are a believer that Exodus 20 verse 3 says thou shall have no other gods before me he also says if you continue on to verse 5 it says thou shall not bow down to them or serve them Thou shalt not bow

Down to any other gods so some of you are saying okay but this is not my God I’m a believer I’m a Christian um I don’t understand what you’re talking about this is not my God I go to church you know I know God I know pastors who are God excuse me pastors

Who are members of fraternities and sororities so what’s the big deal so okay so first of all um pastors who are members of fraternities and sororities we should not consider them the standard for our obedience but rather what does the word of God say for our obedience because

What we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God in fact I mean I think we could all think of a pastor or someone in leadership a bishop an apostle and Elder that has sinned right so why wouldn’t you see this sin which is

This which I’m going to show you is the sin of idolatry why wouldn’t you see this as anything else that you know we simply can make a mistake and fall into this pattern of sin unknowingly okay um as I got into it unknowingly back in

1988 not I just only thing I knew about it was growing up I saw people in the community people in my own household that were members of sororities and fraternities and on the outside it seems that they were doing community service and they really were doing community

Service however how many of you know that a good thing is not necessarily a God thing if he has not called you to that or if it in some fact negates what his principles have already stated what his his rules and laws and principles and Commandments have already stated so

What happens is sometimes we compromise and we mix what the word of God Says with things that we want to do carnally to incorporate into our daily lives and we add our own spin to it but if it’s negating with the a word of God originally told us

That we shall have no other gods then there’s a problem okay so you want me to prove to you why is this considered another God okay let’s go back to let me just let me start here for Delta Sigma Theta specifically when you’re pledging there is a God that is mentioned during the

Rituals when your pyramid which pyramid of people who are online pledging um there’s a goddess that is mentioned called the goddess of wisdom okay so they’re already setting it up for you they’re telling you that wisdom comes from this goddess and then they go on to say the name

They named her well her name is Minerva she is a false god she comes all the way from uh Rome the Roman mythology Greek mythology uh then her name actually changes to I believe it’s Athena for the Roman mythology but for Greek mythology it’s Minerva and on the shield for Delta

Sigma Theta there’s actually you’ll see a little head of a woman who is Minerva now some of you are saying oh that’s just like a cartoon that’s just like a drawing do your research when you do your research and go before the Lord even better and ask him

Who is Minerva Lord show me who is Minerva you know what you’re going to find out is that Minerva is actually a spiritual deity a demonic God that you have basically now entered Covenant with when you pledged and got into agreement before the altar do you remember seeing

An altar in your initiation with candles okay so remember what I talked about Good and Evil there used to be good altars that people would present sacrifices before the Lord which we don’t have to do anymore because Jesus Christ paid the price the ultimate price

For us so we don’t have to go around killing goats and animals and things to to redeem us or atone us from our sins Jesus did that okay all we have to do now is be in relationship with him and walk in obedience to him but then

There’s also evil altars and people who are operating in demonic Powers evil Powers occult practices are actually operating on evil altars they must have an altar in order for the Covenant excuse me to take effect okay so what’s happening is remember I talked about spiritual blindness these are things

That you don’t see are happening but when you get into Covenant with these evil altars with these false gods and goddesses in each sorority and fraternity has their own but I’m speaking specifically about the goddess of wisdom Minerva a false goddess of wisdom um you you begin to realize I made a

Covenant with on an evil altar something that God clearly said not to do he said not to get involved with other gods don’t worship them don’t bow down to them and if you’re mixing your Christianity if you’re mixing your being in the kingdom of God with these false

Deities just know that they’re they’re even though they’re called false just also know that there is some real life aspects to them because they’re operating in The Realm of Darkness and evil so what happens is when you take that initial vow that initial Covenant when you take those oafs and you say I

Pledge my heart to thee I pledge my life to thee I I I love thee I I praise thee Oh you insert the name of your sorority and fraternity what you’re doing is compromising the word of God am I saying that you don’t love the one true God no

But he’s not a god of compromise and because we are in the last days he’s calling his sons and daughters to come out from among them he’s calling us to Holiness and to righteousness and and let me just talk a minute about why do we choose to go into these sororities and

Fraternities and secret societies in the first place oftentimes it’s because what we’re looking for acceptance we’re looking for acceptance from the group we want to be a part of the group that’s great however if your acceptance requires you to go against the principles of God there’s a problem it’s

A heart issue and it’s called idolatry basically what you’re doing you’re saying I choose to Covenant with another deity despite what father God has actually designed for my life and he has plans and purposes for each and every one of us each and every one of us are

Gifted and has something that he wants us to do in the earth before he comes back we’re not talking I’m not talking about salvation I’m talking about what are you supposed to be doing right here on the earth and walking in obedience to him as you fulfill your destiny Okay so

Let me go back to the the root cause of why most of us get into these sororities and fraternities and secret societies because we’re looking for acceptance from man when you’ve already been accepted into the kingdom of God he’s already adopted you as his son or as his

Daughter you have already inherited the kingdom once you say yes to him once you accept Jesus to your heart he has already provided everything you need all the love you need all the support you need all the friends that you need and why do we always have to feel like we

That that’s not enough like we got to go create this than the other so you’re saying we’re doing it in the name of community service let me ask you this who gets the glory when you go do that service project are you saying we’re doing this in the name of Jesus we’re

Doing this because God sent us to come and bless you in this community service project or are you doing it in the name of that sorority and fraternity who’s getting the glory so at the end of the day remember if God’s not getting being glorified if you’re not making his name great but

You’re making the name of a sorority and fraternity great then it’s kind of making him jealous no not kinda is really making him jealous he says he’s a jealous God so let me dig into a little bit deeper because he wants us all to go deeper let

Me go a little bit deeper into my personal story which even led me to understanding these deeper truths okay back in 2010 that was a an awesome year for me because it’s the year I came up out of depression it’s the year that I was able

To get off of antidepressants that I had been on for 12 long years and I tried several different antidepressants and when I tell you none of them really Set Me Free they none of them helped me to feel like the me that I’m supposed to be

I wasn’t able to to walk into my purpose and Destiny because I was so at such a low point in my life um it was 2010 that I got set free I I was I was so depressed after a series of events and series of

Things that taken place in my life but I could not understand why I could not get out of it especially since I went to church on Sundays pretty much every Sunday bible study on Wednesdays I could not figure out why I can’t I pull myself up out of this with all of

My praying and and even sometimes fasting why well what was it that was that was keeping me bound and so there was a few things the Lord showed me one of the things he showed me was that I was holding unforgiveness and I was

Bitter and I was and and he had to show me how I had to let go and release some things from the past I had to release some thoughts and memories of what other people had done to me how they had hurt me how they had talked to me how they

Had spoken to me and and once I began to release the bitterness in my heart things that I had held on to for years that was I received one level of Deliverance one level of freedom and I started feeling better but then there was something else God said to me

Pizza now Renee he said when you pledge Delta you never asked me if this was of me you never asked me if this was something you should get involved with how many of us do stuff all the time get involved in stuff all the time get involved with certain people certain

Organizations certain jobs and you didn’t ask God I mean you just think that he you only talk to him when you need something super super big well everything is Big to him your life is big in every minor detail is Big to him so he said you didn’t ask me and he said

Um I want to show you I want to show you why so I I said Lord I want to know why I want to if I if I if I’ve entered into this unknowingly um that you were not happy with this please show me why so

I had a dream about two weeks after me asking him to show me why and in that dream he took me back to the campus of Howard University on the night that I got picked up to be a pyramid to to be a part of the Minerva Circle

Um enjoying the sorority and I was so excited I was so happy because I was being picked I was being accepted I was being accepted into the group and sure I said I want to do community service I mean I’ve done community service all my life growing up with parents who were

Very actively involved in community service but I was just so excited to be a part of the group so he showed me that night as I was leaving the dormitory with the former Big Sisters when they picked me up he took literally he took me back to

That time period this is like a 20-year period where he took me back to and this Vision was so clear as as if it had happened yesterday and I I saw myself coming out of the dormitory and I looked back true story of retrospect I looked back to the dorm

And I saw two faces of girls who didn’t make it and their faces were pressed up against the glass of the dormitory Bethune Hall and it was pressed up against the glass and they were crying and I just saw them sobbing and I really did see this in

1988 but fast forward to 2010 when I was going through my deliverance from depression he reminded me of that very moment how their faces were pressed up against the glass they were crying why because they had been rejected they had not made it into the membership of Delta

Symmet Theta and so he said to me Renee I don’t reject people you don’t have to have a certain grade point average you don’t have to look a certain way you don’t have to be a certain height you don’t have to wear a certain amount of clothes

Excuse me a certain type of clothes I don’t reject people so this is not of me they can call it a Christian founded organization if they want to but that’s this is compromise this is denying the power within and and there is a scripture that says um having a form of godliness but

Denying the power they’re in and that’s exactly what happens here and that’s how how we get tricked into compromising that we deny the full power of God we’re really certain most of the time we’re just surface level Christian surface level Believers we’re really not going

Into the deep things of him and he wants to take you deeper and he did take me deeper and and when I woke up from that Vision when I came out of that vision and where he reminded me what had happened I just felt so overwhelmed by his glory so

Overwhelmed with his truth that I could not deny any more um uh his truth I just couldn’t it was like spiritual blinders just came off I’m not even going to get into this video I’m not going to get into what happened during the pledge period I’m

Going to actually make a part two video for that about pledging and hazing and initiation ceremony but I I in this video I just want to give you an introduction to why now it took until last year which was 2018 before God cornered me and said you need

To start speaking out publicly and about what I’ve done in your life it took um last year before I actually could tell my former lion sisters that you know what um I have to now break away I can’t there’s still my many of them are still

My friends I still love them we still support each other however I can no longer um not tell them you know I try to just keep it like okay this is just between me and God I can just be friends with them and they don’t need to know what

God told me to do so he cornered me last year and I’ll talk about that in part two of the video how he cornered me and and had me to not only mention it in in the book that I wrote last year but he also had me to mention it in an email

Between me and my former lion sisters and there was 30 of us and I love them dearly I actually love them even more now because the power of and the love of God um that rest on me is just it causes me to love everybody even even that much

More so shout out to everybody who is a member of their organization and any other Greek letter organization because I was exactly where you were and I’m no better than you are I’m just telling you my truth and what the Lord is having the word for this

Season for this hour because time is short time is winding up we are in the end times we are in the end days and if you just look around and you have any sense of spiritual discernment you know things or things are changing things are shifting there’s a shift and

He wants to shift your heart he wants to he wants you to come out of that idolatry he wants you to love him fully with your heart and soul everything you’ve got he wants to have a relationship with you this is not about religion this is about relationship between you

And God he wants to take you higher he wants to take you to the next level he wants you to minister to others he wants you to help others wherever there’s a need for compassion where there’s a need for healing where there is a need for inner healing where there’s a need for

Bringing people up out of depression bringing people up out of toxic emotions he wants to use each and every one of us so I made this video as an introductory part one to why I renounce Delta Sigma Theta why I chose to come out of idolatry and why in these
