Country salesmen from all over the country will go on there and be like hey guys listen I got all these Tundras coming in or I have Tundras that are sitting on my lot and I’m going for a thousand over uh invoice right now so you there are deals out there it just
Depends on where you are when I show you these trucks on the lot I gotta work with what I got and I mean that in the way of I’m there showing you guys the truck what it’s all about the trim the interior the features of course I’m
Going to show you the price but I’m only showing you the price and I always say this in my videos let’s focus on the MSRP because the MSRP is going to be the same across the country dealer markups are going to be different all over the country I’m sure desert
Racers markups are different than the ones I see over here all the time I’m still going to film them and show them to you but we should always be focusing on MSRP and now you’re seeing a lot of dealers come down in price those 2023s
Look at all the Lots all of a sudden you’re seeing 10 15 of them the past month that I’ve walked before the last month what was the most hunters we’ve seen on the lot recently three maybe four we used to get excited throw a party for four now we’re seeing 15 8 10
20 Tundra’s on the lot all right so that shows me two things number one it looks like the factory issues are over and we’re starting to see these dealerships fill back up and they’re going to have a nice uh you know variety on the lot which is a great thing that’s number one
Number two it shows me that if we see that dealers will start coming back down to earth and we will start seeing some normal prices out there where we won’t be talking about markups anymore because remember before 2020 there were never markups on these trucks there was MSRP
And you went in and you tried to get as close to invoice as possible right I want to go back to that these trucks are not cheap in 2024 the prices went up between 12 and 1500 per truck which you see every a year there’s always a little
Add-on because the destination and all that but it’s getting to the point and I said this is a joke in the video yesterday I know a couple people loved it I think it was in my live stream um I’m stuck in SR5 land now I’ve owned platinums I’ve owned TRD Pros but
There’s no way today’s price point I will ever be able to come out of an SR5 my double cab SR5 cost fifty seven thousand dollars like listen I’m doing this YouTube thing full time now when I go to get another vehicle that thing’s gonna be like an Sr at best maybe squeak
Into an SR5 if there’s some value still on this truck but for me SR5 land is where I will be living I might as well build property here because SR5 land is where I’m maxed out so there has to come a point where uh there’s a meat in the middle right and
It’s not just Toyota I’m talking about it’s all of the trucks all of the pickup trucks uh half tons the prices are absolutely insane go look I’ve seen some people tell me like I’m leaving Toyota I’m going to get a Ford because of the pricing both go to Ford and you will see
The same prices if not worse on some of them the difference is how far will the dealers work to get the price down to where you could be happy there needs to be incentives again incentives are gone they need to come on back there needs to be some kind of assistance like there’s
Always been to get us in some of these trucks all right the middle class and the pickup truck are meant to be don’t make it so the middle class can’t buy the pickup trucks it can’t all be luxury features there has to be something that

Solar octane but didn’t want to pay the TRD Pro pricing 2024 my friends SR5 unlimited so that’s number one 1794 and platinum get lunar Rock a lot of people have always asked for lunar Rock on the high trims well guess what Platinum 1794 sister trims luxuried up you’re getting
Lunar Rock if that’s what you want this is the one everybody’s really happy about TRD off-road package now comes to the Platinum ladies and gentlemen I know that’s going to make a lot of you very very happy and why will it make you happy I’m going to tell you
I’ve always said to you if you wanted that TRD off-road package but you wanted the luxury features you had to get the 1794. and you guys would always say to me but I don’t want the Western theme I just want that body color look it has with the dark Chrome
On the outside and the black interior with the off-road package guess what 2024. they finally listened I feel responsible for some of these things uh Factory option three inch TRD lift I know some of you will be happy about that the TRD lift has existed since 2022
You had to order it yourself or order it through your parts department and then they would have to put it on um this makes it a little bit easier on everybody you can now get it there are packages available a couple videos ago I went over those packages uh it’s called
The TRD lift with options TRD lift package stuff like that it comes tied into other things too it’s JBL sound system that kind of stuff but the lift is here ladies and gentlemen Factory option I know a lot of people are happy that The Nightshade is now back on the tundra
Nightshade only spent I believe one model year on tundra in 2021 and then it went away when they went to the new generation well for 2024 it’s back four hundred dollars is that package how cool is that there’s actually two packages 400 and I think the other one was six
Hundred dollars and that was called Nightshade with options and it was like a heated steering wheel so 400 for that package and it blacks out the wheels uh it gives some black accenting and body color on the exterior of The Limited it’s only available unlimited so that is a good one
Another one that I feel directly or maybe indirectly responsible for I’m giving myself a high five for this one black headliner is now available on the TRD Pro not available it’s on the TRD Pro I’ve complained a lot that Capstone platinum and 1794 they get the black

On all trims of tundra SR5 all of it I want to see a black headliner it looks so much better I don’t mind the gray one in mine that I have now because everything is black and gray and stuff so it kind of works but when I had the black with the red
Interior TRD Pro uh the gray headliner threw it off so and then last but not least a lot of uh nobody’s really talking about this one so the digital gauge cluster has existed and it has existed standard in the upper trims upper trims meaning Capstone TRD
Pro platinum and 1794 and it was in The Limited if you got the eye Force Max well Toyota simplified that now limited and up is getting the digital gauge cluster so if you get the iForce regular iForce engine unlimited you’re getting that digital gauge cluster now so congratulations on that
And that’s pretty much it for the changes I believe for 2024. I don’t think there’s anything more like I said the price went up a little bit on each trim I think it’s between 1200 and 1500 uh and that’s it but this is a lot more changes than I thought we would get
People thought we were going to see a refresh already I didn’t agree with that it’s still too new um and it had a slow start because the covid and the production issues they were having in the beginning which is why I think you saw solar octane as the

Back you’re going to start seeing the other brands start dropping the V8s Dodge has already begun and that doesn’t have to do with Toyota or Dodge or anyone that has to do with the government regulations so V8 it’s not coming back that’s unfortunate I know a lot of people wanted that naturally
Aspirated V8 but we just have to um Embrace what they’re giving us and for someone who drives the iForce every day which is 3.4 liter twin turbo V6 it is a fun engine to drive as far as longevity we’re waiting we’re seeing what it can bring us there were some
Growing pains in the beginning of tundra of this new generation I should say of tundra so we’re just seeing where we could go with it I know um somebody I saw today already has 97 000 miles trouble free miles on their new generation Tundra so we’re seeing what
