Weekday shows in real time you can always catch up by checking out the podcast of your favorite shows at your leisure at kbla top 1580 we’ve got your black Thank you shout out to Jan my fellow poorest sister big up to go deep this video was dope I remember this is the video where she had the red bang and she went knocked on the door of the guy and surprised him and just came and had the house party and he
Was like looking crazy making popcorn really cute video missed good videos and Janet looked amazing she always does but that was a good look this was on the Velvet Rope album right which is one of my faves along I think the Janet album is probably my fave then
Velvet Rope and then probably swings back around to control like go old school and then come forward to maybe all for you because that’s the album I actually worked on humble brag um but from the Velvet Rope album real rap I have like a huge huge it used to
Sit in the Virgin Records Office portrait of Janet Jackson and when they moved to buildings I took it so it is now in my house it has been there for like 20 years and um yeah it’s up and it’s big and shout out to me because I love Janet anyway we
Are off the Tipping conversation clearly we are divided we believe in tipping some of us more than others but you know we have to see we do think that you gotta do something extraordinary to get that added benefit like it really should be about that for everybody that’s
Listening for all you lovers that like to tip why don’t you go ahead and tip the YouTube tip tip Jill Monroe right now tip me what’s your cash app what is my I don’t even know what my cash let’s see it ain’t dollar sign stiletto Jill it
Might be let’s see let’s make sure before we say that because then you might be cash out in somebody else yeah I’m just saying if you’re feeling generous you know what I’m saying we’re putting in work in my cash app is actually this is the only thing that is
Not stiletto my cash app is dollar sign Jill Monroe boom so there you go dollar sign Jill Monroe boom if you’re feeling you know sassy we appreciate it thank you so much for locking in every night with us here on RSVP with Joel Monroe now I mentioned that there is a candy in
California that is potentially about to be outlawed the California food safety act is a bill that would ban some food additives found in popular package snacks and it is one step closer to reality on Tuesday lawmakers voted and passed the bill which is now on its way
To Governor Gavin newsom’s desk and if passed the bill is going to go into effect in 2027 and it will ban ingredients which are already banned in other nations for the potential health hazards so they’re banned elsewhere in the world but here we let it fly you
Know and one of the major uh candies that has this ingredient you probably can guess that it’s a red additive or things like that it’s Skittles and so if this bill passed they would ban both the manufacturer and sale of I get the what it’s called is bromiated vegetable oil potassium
Bromate and another chemical that I’m not even going to attempt to print an ounce and red dye number three the first three are banned outright in Europe die number three is only permitted for use in candied and cocktail cherries you know so I guess like maraschino cherries and the Food and Drug Administration
Banned red dye number three in cosmetics in the early 90s after lab testing showed it caused cancer and mice so if companies continue to use the chemicals they will be fined five thousand dollars for the First Defense and up to ten thousand for every subsequent offense so the original Bill also include Banning
Titanium dioxide but that was removed Andy it’s a lot there right it is a lot um I I do frequent 7-Eleven um I’ve been kind of you know toning down on my trips over there but one thing I will say within the past Maybe two to three years or so I’ve noticed
That you know as soon as you walk up in there they have signage about you know some of the products that they have there that you know may cause cancer you know what I mean so if if they’re gonna get rid of Skittles I hate to say it
They gotta get rid of a lot of other snacks chips candy because there’s a lot of not so good stuff in those well if any that’s the thing if any of those snacks or whatever have any of these ingredients they’re gonna be out the door anyway so
We will see what happens I do find it interesting that it was banned in makeup which is just on your face because it was an ingredient the red dye number three they used it in makeup back in the 90s and it was banned then it caused cancer but you’re allowed to eat
It in your candy so you can ingest it but you can’t put it on to give a little sparkly this is where I’m a conspiracy theorist what’s your Conspiracy Theory with that um in general in general in general just everything that’s that’s that’s presented to us from school
TV you got to question it I don’t care how I don’t care how they present it to you just question it do some research behind everything I’ll just leave it at that I agree with that I do I I mean I think and people often say well what are you
Going to do to do your own research I mean listen can you stumble across a faulty site or a bad study yes but they’re going to be references you hope in these things that cooperate to other things that check out so that you know that there’s some
Validity to it or at least you understand that there are two sides to the argument and what you’re dealing with and what the comparison is what the contrast is and where we stand California also has a pro a law regarding prop 65 and I don’t know if it’s something that you checked out
About prop 65 I think it’s like a hard plastic or something like that but it comes in a lot of very things that can come in things like earrings Sun like you know Sun I guess the best way to Fashion sunglasses and what I mean by
That is like not your dior’s or your ysls or whatever Brands you’re rocking but let’s say you went to some place like Forever 21 or I don’t even know if they still do this at Venice Beach but you remember I used to go to Venice Beach and there’d be
Like the big sunglass thing or whatever it’s still there so some of those glasses use this prop 65 ingredient that also causes cancer you can find it in things like um medical equipment some of them like the mattresses that they use in hospitals or things like that it’s
Hidden in all types of random places I mentioned Jewelry earrings things like that but because California is one of the states we actually as far as you know making laws and the things that we bring into the mix kind of set the stage for the rest of the country especially when
It comes to a blue State we obviously you know if you’ve been through been through if you’ve learned about California as a state and what it could be if it were its own Nation as far as you know the um why am I blinking on my nerve my words I
Guess because it’s Thursday it’s hour three you know it’s late um but anyway our GDP is um that of you know some countries it Rivals like and it it’s pretty severe so that’s why we lead the nation in a lot of political design it may not look like it but we do
Andy see this is why you know the conspiracy theory hat comes on because it’s like how do you know like where did you read that there’s this chemical in these sunglasses like how did that come about how did I find that out how did you find that um
Because I have a friend that has an accessory line okay and so I went with her one time to go buy wholesale and so that they have to tag them by law in California you cannot move these products so even if like you go to a retailer and purchase them they they
Will likely be tagged with this prop 65 warning tag they have to I guess the the people who make these sunglasses part of me likes to think that they know what’s going inside and they know that some of these stuff are poisonous to us well you know they’re
Not do you know they’re coming from someplace else right understood but I’m just using that as an example yeah because I mean there’s American stuff that we create here absolutely that are poisonous like that pink slime or whatever yeah like come on man come on I mean wake up y’all
Wake up listen it’s a money grab no matter which way you look at it right so their intent may not be to take out you know somebody a certain type of people I’m not saying you said that Andy I’m just being kind of funny and facetious saying that right but the reality is
They’re they are there to make a dollar right and if they can get this product together and get it to look like well our price point you know our base price we make it for twenty dollars but if they can figure out a way to make it
For seven dollars and fifty cents and maybe maybe expose you to a little bit of cancer-causing ingredients they’re gonna do it and that sucks you know what I’m saying it’s like it’s it’s a business over Health it’s a business over life yeah I understand we live in a
Capitalistic Society it’s it’s a free market economy if if there’s a market for it go ahead you know what I’m saying but at the same time you know you killing people out here but they don’t care about that because you know what the hospital’s gonna be happy come on in
Basically and that sums it up forensic accountant says in Mexico there are no official regulations for lead concentrations in candy however two candy units a meglito chili powder and a rock Alida Junior lollipop had lead concentrations of 0.1 PPM less than lead still being in candy
I don’t know is that like is that candy that you put Luca on you know what Luca is Right forensic accountant or is that strictly a la thing I mean Lucas Lucas yeah you said Luca oh I always call it Luca I didn’t realize it was Lucas I
Always listen mispronouncing it all that time but they know what I mean everybody’s watching the Luca play no because Luca’s not but I feel like the new Lucas is tahin tahin absolutely yeah I definitely get tahin on my fruit when I go to the fruit man because even if you have fresh fruit
At home it always tastes better for the fruit man with that tahin and the little lime squeeze across it no melon though leave that melon out of my fruit you tripping you tripping give me all the watermelon seated though we could have a little bit of watermelon you do have to
Ask those questions though do you look at what because here’s the thing seeds can be annoying but you do look at it when you see a seedless watermelon being offered to you and you’re like hmm look is that lab based absolutely 100 any fruit without a seed GMO how did you
Create that joint now to your point yeah trying to trying to cut ways to make a dollar but is it so here’s the thing because I think about that you know like there’s all of this conversation about how lab-grown meat is going to be more and more in
Stores and some of it will be labeled some of it will not be labeled as clearly as you expect it to be you got to kind of understand the language to understand what they’re really saying but the pushback with a lot of this um is that there are people starving and we’re
Running out of food and we need to find ways to be able to grow food from other resources you know there’s the whole thing about the Cowie missions and how much beef does for the emissions in the world and the ozone layer and then you know all of these things about the land
That they’re on and the water and things of that nature so they are in theory trying to find ways to expand the food supply well teach us how to grow I mean yeah but if if the soil’s not right and the soil can’t hold the food and we can’t till the soil
Everything’s contaminated everything is contaminated and then think about this we live in California so are we gonna have enough water to water the seeds we always have to speaking of and this is a quick side so there’s a bill another bill that and and we know this isn’t a
Political show but it is a lifestyle and culture show so this stuff involves us um there is a bill about uh that is being proposed and it has to do with landscaping and the bill proposes to make it a crime or a findable offense if you have and water landscape that is for
Decorative purposes now supposedly your home line will be exempt from this but they’re trying to get it passed and one of the women that is a councilwoman that is trying to put it through I feel like Glendale is the area that she represents and I wasn’t thinking of talking about
The story tonight but I am so I don’t have her name and I apologize for that but she was going on and on about how all succulents and all of these things look great and better than grass and I’m like that’s subjective I think right rather than erecting a bill like this
Don’t we think it’s time to figure out how we can reclaim the water and spend the money on that reclaim that recycled water even if it’s just for watering these areas you know maybe you feel like there’s too much runoff and we really don’t have a a cost-effective way to
Treat the water I know we do treat some of it you can see when they release out into the ocean the fresh water from the LA River and all of that stuff and it meets the salt water you can always see that little line in the ocean where they
Come together whatever yeah somewhat of a nerd I understand these things I pay attention to stuff like this okay just okay it’s okay I know I accept it but um you know it’s things like that I think that they’re a better use of how we can spend that money instead of
Constantly trying to take and take from the residents from the neighbors from the consumers and doing these things like that there’s a project in Playa del Rey Marina Del Rey right now where there is it’s kind of like a boat but it’s not it’s this big machine and it goes around
The surface of the marina and basically it picks up trash collects the trash and you know helps to clean out the bay I think that there are things like that that would be far more helpful than telling everyone they need to rip out their lawns and put in drought resistant
Plants and oh by the way you’re building up these big seven eight nine ten story apartment complexes in neighborhoods taking out trees so the area is going to be listen I know urban planning too I mean there’s just all of these Domino effects that connect from these things
And I feel like clean water obviously very important and do we need to conserve some water do we probably waste some water we saw those things about all of the people the golf courses the individuals and how much money they spent watering their lawn but what we
Also don’t get into and again a touchy thing farmers get water at a very very discounted rate in the Central Valley we subsidize a lot of that for them to grow food there are other ways than other places to take from let us have some trees and
Some grass please please that’s all that is muscle box for the night on that of course there are more comments in the chat uh let’s see prester John says the U.S has this thing called Gras generally recognized as safe it’s basically a license for U.S corporations to put the
Most dastardly chemicals in your food U.S Regulators are controlled by Industries FDA CDC Etc behema says healthcare workers are only allowed to accept a gift if it’s for the entire staff we are not allowed to accept individual gifts I’m a licensed clinician in DC in New York I’m not
Saying that you’re wrong you are probably right I’m just saying what I did and what I see people do you know like again and I did mention that when me personally what I did I brought it for the whole staff but within that I did
Pick a couple of the nurses that I felt were especially kind considering the situation and you know hit them off with a personal little thing now what they did with it if they told don’t know but that’s on them I just wanted to show that I appreciate them there’s some
Other things being thrown out there’s talks about Tampico and Sunny D let me tell you how as a kid loved Sunny D but you recognized once you got older something was not right about that when we come forward more trending topics and headlines you were locked into RSVP with

Some of our candy in foods and on the other side we mentioned Sunny Delight in Tampico now what I can tell you is I did drink Sunny D as a kid but I was always confused by the thick texture Sunny D is a drink that you couldn’t let
Get warm like you couldn’t let it sit out you had to put like 20 ice cubes in it to get it cold and keep it cold it would burn your throat a little bit going down and it was always confusing to me that it said orange drink
Not orange juice orange drink an urban Spencer Echoes my thoughts she says yuck Sunny D was so thick and weird tasting even as a kid she stayed away from it pressure John says we were drinking Sunny D and water out of rubber hoses um like it was going out of style
And forensic accountant is giving us a list of the candies that are you know dangerous he did mention Lucas he said it is on the list of what did he say let me scroll back because like I said the chat is moving fast Lucas limone is on the list of candies with dangerous
Levels of lead so it seems like a lot of the Mexican candies have a lot of lead properties tamaroka what is that is that the little things that like the Almond Roca is that what Tama Roca is that also seems to have a lot of lead in it
Um Aubry Sinclair says the term conspiracy theory is dismissive I’m a free thinker question and challenge what is being offered and given I love it okay I love it okay we’ll take that how about this conspiracy realist okay that’s that’s what you’re gonna call yourself the realist hey man I try
To keep it real but you know it’ll probably be some pushback on that though I mean there’s gonna be a push back on a lot of stuff but I to your point you do have to ask questions and then ask some more and then even if you aren’t
Satisfied with the answers and you can’t go any further you have to make a judgment call based off of what you think could happen in your best guesstimation so I don’t know um forensic accountant says Lucas Lyman tested high and led for seven out of the seven times in California testing you
Know I can believe that I I that doesn’t seem far-fetched to me either because we didn’t know a lot of the stuff that we were eating back in the day still I mean I’ll think about this the fact that they literally had candy cigarettes and literally had like little I don’t know
What that little stuff was but you could blow through the bubble gum and it would be like a puff that was my joint it was my joint double entender now I’m just playing um you know um like that’s crazy when you think about some of the stuff that you know we
Had even if I think about like I really used to love like gummy candies gummy bears Lifesaver things I don’t mess with them as much anymore and you know why that is why sorbitol speak on it that is the ingredient that is included in gummy lots of jelly candies or whatever and it
Might be you know as you get you know add stuff in age right it’s a type of carb basically and um they put it in sugar alcohol too and for me if I eat too much of it and buy too much I mean like a couple of pieces because it
Wasn’t always like this it cramps my stomach up and that is one of the byproducts of it it gives really really bad cramps um it can take a long time to metabolize in your body and um it causes a reduction in glucose so probably not the greatest for you but
Let me tell you what that candy is good as heck I love it I mean I’m addicted oh they’re going in on the list prester John says as part of Maine I might be messing aspartame aspartame okay that’s what you see in like uh Splenda okay don’t mess with any
Of that never that stuff never tasted right to me and it didn’t it was like powdery as opposed to Sugar being granulated so I was like something’s not right about that um let’s see Urban Spencer said I recently saw a tick tock of a candy warehouse with all
Mexican candy and I bet it was fire too but just not good for you you know that that’s the way it is I look we all know what’s going on with our staff we’re just go out here on a hope and a prayer You Gotta Throw in Hot
Cheetos in that mix too though oh I don’t eat those anymore I’m just I remember growing up seeing kids with their fingers all red and you hear stories about them and I had to go to the toilet afterwards and they still got it cracking they taste different now too
Though I mean would you like Oreos taste different to me I was just reading this thing it was talking about how some places they can’t call where you see soft serve at some place that’s technically not ice cream and may not have dairy products in it doesn’t
Necessarily have to so there’s all types of things when we come forward more trending topics and headlines we’ll get into what to watch coming up this weekend and of course all of your comments because we appreciate you you were locked into RSVP with Jill Monroe here on kbla talk 1580 news and sports

The real talk on drugs but it’s time we know the facts fentanyl is killing people it’s a powerful opioid often made illegally and commonly mixed with illicit drugs it can even be pressed into counterfeit pills that resemble prescription medications just two milligrams about the size of a few

Some rough times towards the end there but we appreciate what they offered in so listen we’re gonna move off of the food conversation as Sterling as that is though I’m gonna have to bring that conversation back gonna have to um get a nutritionist in here so we can get into
This conversation on a deeper level and talk about food and all of that Andy I’m sorry I can’t I can’t let it go go ahead I can’t let it go you know once again as I’m getting older you know I appreciate everybody uh you know chatting and providing information I’m definitely
Going to come back to this video because I definitely want to take notes of this but also want to see I also want to suggest that folks you know I know people are scared to go to the doctor or whatnot but at least go get an allergy
Test yeah I think a lot of people don’t know that you know you might be allergic to certain things and just because you don’t have a symptom per se doesn’t mean that you know this particular ingredient is not affecting you you know what I’m saying it could be as simple as like a
Little breakout or something like that go ahead and get a allergy test see what you potentially could be allergic to and switch up your diet and see how you feel afterwards facts I I resonate with that I mean you can learn a lot about yours and then true just in general though I
Think that if you at any point have started to pay attention to what you eat and how you feel after you eat certain things and what your body feels like when you try and get those 65 ounces of water in a day versus if you’re you know
Lacing your day with soda and coffee or whatever um you might notice the difference in your skin you know if you’re getting into more vegetables and so forth so I think that looking at the food that you and I’m not gonna lie and sit here and act like I eat absolutely amazingly and
I never eat bad stuff because I do I do not believe in denying myself and sometimes I want fried chicken and cake so I’m gonna get those bad things but I think that moderation is key it really is and you don’t have to eat those things every day
You know that is I think a big part of it if you look at I remember um overhearing a conversation that this woman was having and she was talking about how she didn’t feel well she was getting early onset of diabetes and she was fairly young in my opinion to be
Going through that um she’s about 40 40 ish and she was saying how she drank about two liters of soda a day and I’m like how are you sucking down to first of all soda doesn’t quench your thirst it really doesn’t so I don’t even understand
You know how you can do all that in and don’t get me wrong like I like a little Fanta every now and again I definitely like there’s a soda brand called Jones and they have these green apple sodas again we go with my tart thing I like
The green apple sodas so I mean there’s stuff I’m gonna get out there and play I like sweets but it can’t be daily it just it can’t be in your life like that it can’t be in your life Like Oxygen prester John says eat as close to the
Source as possible I agree with that forensic account you’re bringing up intro and rest in peace to Kenny Green always a Vibe but that was so for real not intro but intro is a great group we got a love thing and we talked about this it might have been even a month ago
I think intro’s version of Ribbon in the Sky I’m not saying it’s a better than Stevie wonders but it is comparable like I’m not mad if you play the intro version of Ribbon in the Sky there are some remakes you can okay my bad forensic account you
Know you were just bringing them up because it fit the vibe and the period kinda intro was more 93 so for real was more 99 2000 ish but we’re riding with you we’ll ride with you on that okay um anyway that’s it I’m gonna find a nutritionist
And we’re gonna have a food talk we’re gonna get that in on the show because I think that’s a good topic and it is something that is near and dear to my heart and important to all of Saul so I mentioned sexy red and there is audio to
Go along with this story but I opted not to play it just because I think that you guys will be like this is ridiculous and I don’t know if I’m being trolled but I’m gonna tell you about it first the good side of things sexy red is number one on Billboard’s
Tick Tock chart they have just launched a tick tock um 100 I think that is a smart thing to do since Tick Tock is setting the trends as far as music as of late they are you know obviously moving the needles so being involved with that and ranking
Them serves some purpose however this story is um interesting so we know sexy red is right now one um of our current favorite rashes that’s my word for Ratchet when I’m trying to be fancy but you know she’s out there she has her single obviously skiwi it’s number one on the
Billboard Tick Tock choc um chart her and Lotto have the eggplants and Peaches song that is booming sexy red also says she has a couple of more collaborations on the way but she recently shared a story about her first boyfriend and the nicest thing that he ever did
For her and she said it was the first time anyone had given her anything especially a man she said when she was 15 years old her first boyfriend wanted to do something really really nice for her so he went out and robbed someone and
Gave it to her and was like here I did this for you his take 13 and a fake Gucci belt for Valentine’s Day and she said that she was so appreciative so thankful so excited because she had never received anything from anyone to begin with
Ah I wonder if that story is true I mean it’s probably true I could see it being true but I wonder if there’s not some embellishment on it you know I mean I see being excited because someone gave you something but being excited because they robbed
Somebody and it was 13 and a fake Gucci belt why are you sharing that I feel like that’s kind of what we talked about uh and not why are you sharing that it as in you shouldn’t share your experience or whatever things like that I hope you

I appreciate it let me tell you about what Bow Wow admits that he is always always dreamed about now we know that Bow Wow became a start about seven or eight years old he’s been in the entertainment industry since then about Weezy is about
What 38 now so that is a good portion of his life right and so he put on Instagram and admittedly some of you are not kind and not understanding of what he is saying but I for one appreciate his transparency in the moment but he said that he woke up thinking to himself
Like he’s never been to a prom he’s never been to college he’d like to pledge a sorority I mean excuse me a fraternity and he said y’all think I’m lucky because I’m My Lifestyle but I really want what y’all have now I know that sounds a little cheesy and a little
Like what but I do think especially if you have ever had a conversation with children that became that were famous early there is a part especially if they were someone like Bow Wow who really was too large to have a normal existence I mean he could have gone to college he could
Have had some of these experiences I’m sure some young lady would have loved for him to go to prom with them but he didn’t they could have made a competition out of that but anyway I digress but it is something to think about that sometimes some of the things
That you take for granted as just a normal rite of passage in life are things that people like this miss out on I guess the exchange to that is he also probably was a multi-millionaire before he turned 18. so fair you can have your own prom you could throw your
Own adult prom right now and I’m sure it would be fire and a cute theme party so think about that Bow Wow but you only want to go to college to pledge not to further your education cool cool cool anyway let’s get into what to watch this
Weekend of course you know we’ve been talking about for the past two weeks we’re going to continue it rolling in there is another home game for the Colorado what are they buffaloes yes the Colorado Buffaloes that is coach Prime Times team Dion Sanders it is estimated
That the home game last weekend made 18 million dollars for the city of Boulder you talk about impact listen listen on the field off the field financially culturally Dion’s doing some things and you guys better like I’m not saying fall in line but at the very least pay attention and
Sit up straight take a note or two because Dion is here and he’s doing things the right way even though some of the stuff feels to some a bit you know Larger than Life let’s leave it there it’s going to be real personal this weekend oh it definitely is is that the
Coach that said in the interview there was a white coach from the team that they’re facing off against Colorado State yep I was just about to say I blanked on the team so obviously it’s a home and home kind of situation and he was like you know I was always
Taught that being respectful when talking and I’m paraphrasing because I don’t have the exact words in front of me but basically Dion needs to take off his hat and his sunglasses when he’s speaking to you guys and because he doesn’t he’s being disrespectful he don’t have no home training
In front of grown folks as if Dion isn’t grown him said that man is over 50 years old he’s not grown I mean listen and obviously I feel like the amount of respect that his players show him also shows the amount of respect that he gives them as young men
I feel as though if he was not doing that they would not be falling in line to you know roll behind him in the way that they are I’ve always wondered do do people get a Vibe of nepotism you know what I’m saying considering you know his son is the quarterback you
Don’t get none of that do you I see I feel like it’s hard to be because one he’s been playing football for so long he got in the transport portal like everybody else who was checking for him and let’s be clear he’s doing the same thing at Colorado that he was doing at
Jackson State so he’s where he’s at because he deserves to be I mean it’s very helpful having one of the best you know NFL players of all time and show Dad but it’s also probably a very hard situation I know kids that are sons of sons or daughters you know children of
Athletes or whatever sometimes that level of Excellence can be hard to live within and be a part of that space or the way that they demand as far as training and things like that but um I think that he’s shown and by here I mean shador it that he’s put in the work
And he deserves to be in the position that he’s in you see what he does on the field I don’t believe he cheats the game at all so um you know if there is a bit of nepotism one I’m not mad at it and two he deserves it he pays it back tenfold
All right so that’s one of the things to watch this weekend of course this is for next well a couple of weeks but I wanted to put it on your radar right now there is a six-part docu-series coming to own called rebuilding Black Wall Street it is
Hosted by Morris Chestnut and it’s going to visit the era and the area so get it era and area and the community members that were in that Oklahoma area in North Tulsa and you know explore it learn about some of the stories learn about the people that were there and kind of
Take those steps back through that situation basically a hundred years later the descendants of Greenwood Community are rebuilding a new Legacy and we’re here to help so I think it’s something that you might want to check out as I said that’s September 29th there’ll be six episodes
Dropping last night on Hulu is a series called the other black girl and it is a thriller comedy we’ll have interviews with the director and some of the executive producers coming next week but it’s based on a book by zakaya Harris and it’s a best-selling novel and listen
It is a very very interesting premise it’s basically about a girl named Nella she is an editorial assistant at a Publishing Company a huge publishing company she is the only black woman there when another assistant is brought on a black girl named Hazel she is excited because she feels like there’s
Someone that she can connect with and bond with but something is not quite right there and there are some things that start to happen that have Nella questioning one is Hazel someone she should be befriending and two kinda is she losing her mind so like
I said it’s a thriller comedy there is a bit of the supernatural horror kind of aspect to it I’ve seen a few episodes it is definitely worth your time an interesting concept so check it out if you are interested in that it’s on Hulu if you’re around the LA area BeautyCon
Is taking place this weekend it’s coming back it’s been a way for the last few years some of the participants there are a lot of Black Beauty Brands and black makeup artists stylists beauty influencers that will be there and so I think it’s important if you are
Interested in that to show up for these ladies it is September 16th and 17th it will have you immersed in the world of beauty fashion culture and entertainment if you’re in the LA area go check it out like I said Marseille Martin will be there a couple of others lots of names
Something to get into right we also have okay wait my notes went really fast oh okay so this is something that is coming up coming to where’s that coming to I think it’s Hulu maybe not though um actually I don’t think it’s Hulu because the Kardashians have no
Fingerprints on this and what it is it’s called House of Kardashian and it is basically about how the Kardashians work their way into Fame it features interviews with people like Caitlyn Jenner who you know at one time was The Stepfather to Kim Courtney um I’m missing one Kim Courtney Chloe
That’s why I forgot Chloe and he’s she excuse me says point blank in there that Kim calculated from the beginning to become famous so they get into some of the sex tape stuff stories that we hadn’t heard how that was a business transaction how it went down and again
One of the things that is exciting for some about it is that the Kardashians have no editorial control over this docu-series so maybe it’ll provide a little more insight we’ll have to see but make sure you’re locked into that of course we are in week two of the NFL so
How’s your team doing what are they looking like you know if you’re a Jets fan of course your quarterback is done for the season tragically and many are saying the blame is MetLife Stadium so quietly it is known as one of the biggest stadiums to take out NFL players
And cause injuries it’s because of the turf and they say that the grass that the NFL the grass at the MetLife Stadium should be removed and the NFL should enforce it because it is shortening players careers causing problems etc etc so I don’t know who’s your team lined up against this
Weekend my team the Rams are gonna be 2-0 that’s all I know that’s all I really care about you know I’m waiting for October anyway the NBA season thank you for rocking with us when we come forward you will hear the best of kbla remember the best of RSVP
With Joe Monroe is what airs on Friday nights thank you for clocking in as always VIPs thank you for the notes thank you for the tip forensic accountant we will see you next time have a great night Thank you Kbla 1580 Santa Monica good morning I’m Mike Moore here’s the latest from the black Information Network President Biden will give a speech today about the effects on
