Okay and I’m not in the position to keep changing every time we record a new video but I am gonna do another question that was sent in to me topic about showing interest so the lady the young lady said okay looking forward to it
I also wanted to see if I can get some advice on showing interest I’ve been going I’ve been going to all the events held online held by the particular organization that I’m interested in my GPAs are three point eight and I’m in a different org I’m in different
Organizations on campus and I have a lot of community service hours I just wanted to know how to express my interest without being too pushy should I stay after the events and talk to the members what should I say um so that’s what I did it was actually my first event it was
Like a sipping tea or sip sip and chat and something like that um for a K and I had went and I had stayed after and I talked to the girls I actually talked to one of the Graduate chapter members as well and that was a lady who I was
Emailing and I told her I want to charter a chapter but nobody knew that I was coming to you is and she didn’t know that I was coming to you I guess but I had surprised her and she was like wow what and then that night she had him
Telling the girls about my email about how I was interested and stuff like that so they knew that I was interested already because I had shared with um what is that I had shared with that lady that I wanted to be a member of a case
So they knew that I was interested as far as you I would definitely continue to go to their events at this point if you go to a lot of events they are you know who you are you know what I’m saying they already know like oh yeah she’s interested or something like that
Um I would definitely I would definitely like me I’m a very personable person and I like to be personal with people and get to know people so for me when I was going out and showing my interest I have found one person that I really could
Relate to that I admired and that was somebody that I felt like I could be myself around and I was a girl and my sorority her name is Ashley she was probably one of the only people that was like that I like I don’t know like it
Was just her vibe like I loved her she was just very cool very like she took an interest in me and she wanted to get to know me she invited me out to events or like lunch and stuff like that so if you have an opportunity to get invited out
To lunch or be bold and ask them out to lunch or one person or two people you don’t want to like one you don’t want to be behind everybody lunch okay because then there’s gonna be like girl you really trying too hard um but you do want at least me I like to
Get to know people because then if she gets a good vibe from you and she knows who you are then she’s gonna go into her lion sisters and the people in the organization about you and be like you’re like she’s actually really really sweet a really cool person so yeah you
Can do it after the events definitely but also do it away from school do it away from the events like and fire out if you don’t want to pay for lunch and fight her out to a homework session then Haggar I’m going to library when they’re gonna wait you know I’m saying like
Stuff like that but you got to be cool with them don’t just go to one event see a girl that you think could be cool and be like hey girl come to library miss you gonna be like wait I don’t even know you you don’t like use your resources
Y’all have computer labs y’all might be in the same class like hey girl you did you do this assignment cuz I’m trying to I’m kind of struggling with it like did you want to go to a library in like we’re gonna you know it’s different ways to like go approach people and you
To know them because ultimately people us Greeks that are part of B G ellos we want to we want to feel like you’re not just trying to be our friend to be a part of our organization and ultimately that’s what a lot of people do they just
Want to befriend you so you can be a part of this organization and then when we get in the same organization you don’t know me you know I’m saying oh when we walking around campus you act like you don’t know me um so ultimately
Just try to get to know them try to get to know a particular person and befriend them and befriend them for the right reasons um don’t befriend them just because you want to be soon be a part of the organization you know what I’m saying I
Think that’s what you want to do but definitely like just work on your approach when it comes to talking to them and yeah like the best way to show interest without opening your mouth and putting your foot in your mouth is going to every single Eve in and then popping
Up at the interview okay that’s the best way just because nobody will ever know you know what I’m saying um and discretion is everything so that’s probably the best thing that I would say I would recommend is just to you yes you’ve been talking about the
Event but get to know them for them and then let the talking of joining my sorority just flow like you know it’s just gonna flow roll off the tongue okay so yeah I would definitely sorry y’all people are so annoying but yeah so I would definitely do that
