Everyone welcome to my youtube channel I’m apostle Robert summers always a great pleasure and I considered a wonderful blessing and opportunity to come to you and bring you the Word of God one of the things that I want to talk about here today as briefly as possible is fraternities and sororities
I receive questions periodically about fraternities and sororities over the years I’ve fielded them on an individual basis but what I thought would be good to do is put out a video and field the question that was given to me what is my view on fraternities and sororities and
That can be you know that question right there is somewhat open-ended obviously what in my view is I do have a view I believe my view is somewhat consistent with the Word of God there’s nowhere in the Word of God we’re going to see the word fraternity or sorority but we can
Glean a lot of information out of the Word of God about oaths about striking agreement with certain things so that’s the that’s kind of like the the mindset that we need to have when we deal with this I will say this is that any association with any organization secret
Society paternity sorority and even denominations can be demonic I’ll say that again alliances confederacies agreements with joining of denominations that’s right we’re talking about church denominations within the Christian community organizations networks secret societies societies and of course attorneys and sororities can be demonic or have some
Measure of of being demonic now my thing about fraternities and sororities is I’m just going to come straight out is I do not believe that a born-again Christian a citizen and the kingdom of God should join a fraternity or sorority I do believe that in some degree that all of
Them have some dark workings within them I believe that there’s some demonic type activities that exist in attorneys and sororities and I just think that you know believers should not join them I know quite a bit about them I was in a fraternity I was in a fraternity called
Alpha Sigma Phi I do not believe that any one fraternity is better than the other just because they say they don’t participate in certain things like maybe hazing or I’ve heard some people say that this sorority prays that the sisters pray and so on it’s based on
Christian values and so on well again you know you’re gonna do what you want to do but I do not believe that we should join them nor do I believe that we should encourage our children as they go off to university or college to join
Them and that’s really I get a lot of questions from parents who are concerned about it because they’re their kids you know they brought them up in the in the church they brought them up as Christians we you know Christian values and Kingdom mindsets and so on and then
They go off to university and now they want to explore and they’re invited into a fraternity or sorority of course it’s always packaged up very nicely for one to join and they see really there’s no harm in it and and again this is not to say that just because you joined a
Fraternity or sorority that somehow demons are going to jump on you that that’s not going to happen what you can do is you can open an open up a gate to where demons evil spirits Witchcraft perversions of all sorts begin to have that doorway opened to them so that they
Can bind you or your children you know those that go off the university and college that join these attorneys and or sororities now like I said I’ve been in the 70s I was recruited in a particular fraternity I did not want to go into the fraternity but they recruited me and of
Course the way they recruited me is you have better living conditions you had you know people that would take care of you there was a brotherhood there and so on and you know Here I am what 19 years old 18 19 years old I don’t I don’t
Really know too much so I’m like okay let me join it granted back then in the 70s the movie the animal house came out with John Belushi and so you see all this stuff you’re like oh it’s crazy but that’s not really true the animal house type stuff
I’m not saying there wasn’t some crazy stuff and we’ll talk about that in a moment but by and large today they’re not like the animal house movie I think the danger that I saw of attorneys and sororities specifically and I saw both my because I would sneak over to the
Sororities and of course every fraternity typically has a sorority that it’s their sister you know it’s just this bond some type of bond between those two but what I saw was there was a lot of witchcraft there was a lot of perversion there’s always a lot of sorcery involved the biggest thing is
The taking of an oath one of the things that we had to learn was some Latin terms we would chant things we would say something that I would actually remember it was cus elated Caza LeTip vesus know T SEMA Castle at it versus North Aseema and what that man meant was the causes
Are hidden but the results are well known the causes are hidden but the results were known but well just think of that in particular the causes are hidden here we have something hidden who likes to stay in the darkness who likes to be it we know that the devil we know
That demons like to stay in dark places so that right there is a problem the other thing is we have chanting we have chanting in a language that is not unique to me this this what now this is what they told me that term in Latin
That’s what they said it meant I don’t really know I don’t know Latin I didn’t know Latin then I don’t know if that’s true or not that it really means that but that’s what they told me and I accepted that at that time and I just
Agreed with it see that’s what we do we do things especially when we’re young we do things out of ignorance and we become into agreement with that and when you come into agreement with something you specially something that’s dark you now becomes you could become soul tied to it
You can open the door for demons to come in and bind you in a lot of different ways now when I was in this particular fraternity we have rituals we had the the leaders had capes and robes and hoodies that they put on really kind of look like something that
Stuff you see with the KKK black and red you had a chapter room candles burning of course we were the pledges at that time before I became you know involved in it and then I had recruits that I had to deal with but you received the hazing
That hazing had us doing some some ridiculous acts I mean we would go into we would steal things we would go on people’s porches steal things I really am kind of ashamed to say some of the other things that we did but basically it was just stupid and silly
Stuff but then we would go I remember one time we went into the into the cemetery and in the cemetery we had to do some things within the cemetery and then of course we had the guys with the hoodies come at one point they took us
Out well and this was in Missouri they took us out into the farmland blindfolded us had us out in the in the farmland we had to disrobe only with back then was a jockstrap covering us up and we were asked questions we had to answer questions we had to know all
About the fraternity the history of it and so on and it was and we were in the dark barn I mean it was something out of it really like a horror movie and then of course we had to drink this potion which of course I found out later on
What it was when I was fit done being a recruit and you know began recruiting others what was in that potion it was sick it was it was demonic is what it was things ranging from urine fecal material and other type of substances alcohol grain alcohol covered up by
Kool-aid so again this is the type of stuff I’m revealing this so that you can not be ignorant of the devil’s devices once I was in the fraternity then of course you’re looking to bring recruits in I found out what the life was like granted the rooms were bigger the rooms
Had better furniture we you know we’re governed by ourself but the partying that went on was unbelievable I remember when I first got in there I was I never smoked weed and they put me on the second floor which was mostly where the weed people were and I told
Them you’d take me off that floor and granted my my fraternity that I was in was really an athletic fraternity a bunch of jocks and stuff like that in there but there was a lot of smoking of weed so a lot of people were introduced I saw some innocent people I saw
Innocent lives come in and they were introduced to drugs alcohol was just crazy I mean the amount of alcohol was unbelievable I saw people with guns I mean it was just it was just amazing drinking again the Bible talks about drinking as wine is a mocker and strong drink a brawler
Drinking was open I mean grain alcohol crazy I mean just total craziness you know beer by the kegs it was just open it was a very open society sex perversion sex I mean it was nothing for sex to be taking place and did you know people moving from room to room I mean
I’ve seen I saw a lot of different things and I’m not saying that every fraternity or sorority is like this because it’s not but this is some of the stuff that that went on I’ve seen I see I saw a lot of stuff and really even
Though at that time was not born again I didn’t really know that what was going on in something inside of me I remember that’s actually when I began to start to call out for God because I knew that this wasn’t right I knew in my heart
This wasn’t right I saw women of girls teenage at night teenagers well they were I mean 18 19 abused taken advantage of they were drunk on drugs and basically they would be in a room and guys would come in and have sexual intercourse with that girl and you know
We’re talking 10 12 you know up to 15 people this is the type of stuff that was existing back then I don’t know what it’s like today I’m much older and and this I’m long removed I’m 40 some years removed from this but this is what was
Out there then and I’m certain that there’s some other things like it today of course you had a party and you have it rituals I just talked about you had hazing hazing ice I saw people be so abused I remember we were hazing and in hazing you know where
There wasn’t that big of a deal we had some guys do some exercise and stuff like that but it was hot and exhaustion set in to these people and we told the standard attention and I saw this one guy kind of bobbing and weaving and I
Knew that he was just the heat got to him the exhaustion and he fell forward and his face hit the concrete’s head-on and his whole nose just split open and of course you know we rushed him to the hospital we don’t totally be quiet and all that stuff but I mean there could
Have been some major major problems with that guy I think at the end of the day when we talk about fraternities or sororities again this is just my view is that it’s demonic and it really aligns very closely with what we call religion today religious denominations networks and things like
That is that it creates a system of idolatry and harlotry and when you begin to because when you get into fritters or sororities you begin to agree with it you you cut a covenant as it were you sign papers saying you’re in agreement with the with the tenants of that
Particular organization of course when you’re approved into it they send you a certificate which of course I have burned many years later as a deliverance minister we burned all association with that renounced Association broke those soul ties with that organization I really wasn’t in big into it some people
Really get into it they begin to wear things I see people they put stuff on their car saying they belong to it they wear the colors they go you know 10 years out of college they’re going back to their sisters and their brothers these guys were not my sisters they were
Not my brothers okay but that’s what you’re expected to call them brother so-and-so sister so-and-so and again it’s all based on just their little group now now here’s the thing some of the groups were you know they they’re they’re racist too because some of them were designed for intellectuals the
Elitist others like mine that I was in was more you know for the sports guys the guys that were in athletics you have others that were for black people or white people only so there was a black fraternity very racist okay white fraternities very racist and
You had it both on the male and female the fraternity and sorority side and so on so again I see a lot of this and really no different than what we see in in religion today where you know you go through a program then you have to sign
A document saying that you’re a member of that church there’s no where as it pertains to the New Testament church the kingdom of God where were to join churches you are the church you’re not to join a particular Church now there’s nothing wrong with being an agreement and building and in
That vision understanding that there’s nothing wrong with that wouldn’t but when you begin to sign off on documents then it’s very dangerous the environment that was created what I saw was an environment of rebellion here you have all these guys and gals coming to university and they’re free they’re now
Able to you know mom they’re away from mom and dad and rebellion really begins to set in and you know I mean I saw the you had people setting up tattoo parlors and everything I mean just a lot of different things took place I saw some lives at least back then destroyed or
People kicked out of university they left college for whatever reason and it was it was really sad to see it I want to give you some scripture here real quick and in Ephesians for example this is what the Bible says about stuff like this Ephesians 5:11 says take no part in the
Unfruitful works of darkness but instead expose them so we’re not to partake in any works of darkness this is a work of darkness therefore you should not do it so that’s why I say don’t join the fraternity or sorority do not have your children or be in agreement with your
Children do it and I mean their adults want they once they go off to college they’re gonna do pretty much what they wanted but if you’ve taught them the ways of the Lord then just you know reinstall that with them that you know maybe use this scripture and say you
Know don’t don’t go there I’ve had my kids they’ve all gone through college at least the most of them and they knew when they got there that they couldn’t just do whatever that they had to exercise some discretion and what I taught them over the years that
You know that had to be solidified in them to where they don’t make bad decisions of course second Corinthians chapter six verse number 13 through 18 I’m not going to read the whole thing but it says do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers for what Fellowship has righteousness
With lawlessness and what Fellowship has light with darkness leviticus 5/4 if anyone utter x’ with his lips a rash o to do evil or do good any sort of rash oath that people swear and it is hidden from him when he comes to know it and
Realizes his guilt in any of these so again we have some scripture that could be applicable to having Confederacy’s alliances and agreements with fraternities and sororities of course in matthew chapter 5 verses 33 through 7 37 it says quite a bit about this but it
Says do not take an oath at all so again we’re not to take oaths James talks about it also saying that Nita and James chapter 5 verse number 12 neither by neither by any oath but let your yea be a and your nay nay so again we should
Not do this and when we do I want to close by saying this is that the door or the opportunity the gate for demons to come in is open and I’ve never seen demons that give people a pass and say well the doors open I’m not just I’m not
Going to come through no they will and they look for little things remember it’s a little fox that spoils divine so when they come in they look for places of maybe it’s rebellion maybe it’s some perversion some things that or abandonment let’s say there’s inferiority in my case when I was in
College I had an inferiority complex I was very good in sports but I was not good really in maybe communication skills or interpersonal skills or developing friendships and things of that nature so I wanted acceptance and because I wanted acceptance and then I gravitated them and of course the Loring from that
Was your our brother these are our sisters were a family if you if you don’t come from a background that your family was very strong then perhaps you may go to that and begin to look at these as people that love you and care for you they’re sincere for you and what
You end up having is you actually end up having a false sense of acceptance but now you feel accepted but you’re not really accepted so you begin to trust you begin to to to to you know strike agreement with that and again all of what that sorority or that fraternity
Means or what it’s about now you are open to that and again when you look at it some of these sorters and fraternities they in the end don’t don’t don’t believe the ones that say oh we’re a Christian paternity or sorority okay or I’m or fraternity or sorority and we
Believe in God how many times have we heard people say I believe in God or it’s faith-based or something like that no you don’t need that all you need is the kingdom of God the Bible says it’s very clear in Matthew chapter number six seek first the kingdom and his
Righteousness and everything else is added to you so we don’t need to be seeking after fraternities we don’t need to be seeking after sororities we need to seek after the kingdom of God now if you have been involved in a fraternity and sorority when we do deliverance
Ministry one of the things that we do is we begin to call out or you begin to really attack any strongholds or roots that got deep into your soul from your fraternity or sorority days I always tell people if you came into agreement with that when you were a teenager now
Maybe you’re in your 40s or so you do need to renounce all allegiance and alliance in Confederacy with that tribe or with that fraternity or with that sorty that needs to be broke okay and you can do that verbally just saying I am no longer in agreement with that
That’s what I did I had a certificate we do like they did in the book of Acts we burn things that are of curious arts or darkness or witchcraft or things that really just our file and I recommend that you do that if your church doesn’t
Do it and you want to send it in to us we will burn that for you but that’s that’s a way that you from an emotional and mental perspective you cut the cord on your agreement with that do you understand what I’m saying so anyway
So there you have it I really pray that this was a blessing to you this was a question that has been asked to me several times and continually is asked and I wanted to put a video out there pertaining to it so again I I would say
You know when somebody says is a fraternity or sorority is it okay no it’s not for all the reasons that I just mentioned and I gave you some of my history of what I experienced again let’s be real clear every fraternity is different not every fraternity or
Sorority is going to do what I saw and by the way in the sororities you know people say oh that’s a female story listen this stuff I saw there was unbelievable it was in some cases worse than what was going on in the fraternities the the girls were out of
Control the perversion lesbianism homosexuality openness nakedness filthiness just really really very very bad I saw I mean again I saw girls getting pregnant just going having abortions like crazy this is the stuff that existed then it again I’m an older gentleman now I can’t say that it’s out
There today but that spirit that underlying spirit within fraternities and sororities still exists it’s a it’s a principality it’s a stronghold and again these things are no different than any other perhaps Network organization denomination what’s the genesis of it if the Genesis is not the kingdom of God if the Genesis
Or the beginning of it is not righteousness peace and joy in the Holy Spirit if it’s not about with Christ said to do then really why are we involved in it as Saints as citizens of the kingdom why are we involved in it this does that mean that you can’t have
You can’t network with people and or organizations okay you just need to be very prayerful you need to be very careful and you need to be super discerning okay but I know in business that there are networks there are people that we come in contact with and we
Certainly want to go in you know meet with them and and and have some dialogue but when you talk about joining things certain parties I even even like republican-democrat little stuff I don’t I personally do not do that because I’m not going to come into agreement it give
My word to something that it’s not there’s really no value in doing it I believe it’s simply about the kingdom of God you have a decision to make for yourself but listen thanks for watching here today I’m just real quick here do me a favor subscribe to my youtube
