Hey what’s up I’m Tyrell I’m Matt I’m Co and we’re just the block North of campus at Sigman new and we’d love to show you the inside of our house one of the oldest on campus so this is the main first floor living room area as you can see it’s kind of a
Grand open space it’s a nice area that we like to host different things like our Seahawks watch parties check out the Mariners uh we host some of our Super Bowl parties out here but especially since we have daries or like to throw events outside this is a space that we
Can kind of intermingle the two and get to have some time indoors as well if we want to talk talk to some people in a more quiet space all right and this here is our gym as you can tell based off of the flooring it looks kind of like a
Basketball court and that’s because it was originally we had a full-size Court which you can kind of see there’s now a SE ceiling above us that kind of divides it in the middle but we still like to use it in order to host some of our social events our Brotherhood events
Where we all hang out together as a house kind of play different things like dodgeball musical chairs or just something to just kind of bring in the sort of energy together for once and then we also have a lot of different events with sority women um we host
Different stuff like exchanges or grav aate events where people come in and we have different things to them like during Halloween you do pumpkin carving during the summer some of us might want to go to the Spring Fling different things like that all right and coming downstairs we
Have our dining room as you might notice we have a lot of tables and chairs but more specifically they’re set up in a pretty interesting fashion um that’s because this is not only where we get together and we all eat our meals together after classes hockey practice other sorts of Athletics or
Extracurricular activities we like to have our house meetings here as well so we’ve been having ongoing alumni contributions in terms of what we might want added to the house we have a soda machine vending machine a general morning breakfast bar but that being said we’ve also had some other products
Going on around the house what we want to do to different floors and other things that are going on in the business sides of things so not only we kind of get here in order to kind of bring together what we do in our personal lives but also like what we necessarily
Want to do business-wise sort of projects we might want to focus on together as a house and moving on from the dining room and morning bar we have the spot where the real magic happens this is our new renovated kitchen as you can see we’ve got a lot of really great amenities that
Were built in like six different burners large flat top multiple ovens huge deep sinks and not only that we have one of the longest serving chefs in the Greek system Jerry uh she’s been with us for over 20 years and we couldn’t be more happy to have her especially considering
How awesome you’re baking hello welcome to the kitchen we uh have food here 24/7 practically um no one’s allowed to go hungry cookies as much as you want I would love wine my pleasure are so good and here you’ll find yourselves the library I’ll admit our house is filled
With a bunch of different Majors I’m personally in chemical engineering and bi resource science and engineering but over here is in political science and Colton here is in physiology the house uh probably Brands ourselves on above a Dean list average and I’m sure that these guys can tell you more about what
They do specifically yeah of course so udub obviously is a very academic college and it doesn’t change when you join a fraternity our uh GPA average is a 3.56 maintained uh we make a lot of incentives to reward the hard work that these guys put into performing well
Academically right and so we have scholarships that incentivize that we give out $100 to every single member who was above the Deans List per quarter we also are rewarding current um new members with $1,000 if they’re able to maintain above a 3.4 GPA these are just our ways of just supporting you guys
Academically and making sure that at the end of the day you’re going to leave with not only the skills youit to succeed um but you know that that well- earned diploma that you’ve been working for so now we’re moving on up to the third floor this is where a majority of
Our residential rooms are and I’m going to go ahead and direct you on to one of our more typical first year rooms so one thing you can kind of expect going into your first year is the fact that we really don’t have anything more than one two roommates at the very
Maximum and that’s something that I really appreciated um there are plenty of rooms to move up if you would like to like having some more private space having a single to yourself but this is definitely around the same size and around the general scale that you’ll get as a first first year
Student and this here is probably one of my best friends rooms Logan winst he’s our eminent commander and president um I mentioned briefly before how leadership positions can kind of help you earn your way through the ranks and just kind of get yourself a little bit of a nicer
Room and I think that this is kind of the peak of that situation um typically a lot of the presidents like picking this room good amount of privacy you get a good view of the outside um if you want you have plenty of space to put in
A bigger TV or whatever you like in those sorts of amenities but this is sort of how we like to give back to the people who put a good amount of work into the house and they get rewarded with different types of in better amenities and that just about wraps up
