Literally going to give myself to youtube as well as give myself to my debt free journey because i’m solely giving myself to my debt free journey definitely does not um does not do me any good and doesn’t do you guys any good because i know you guys support me i know you guys
Love the journey that i’m on but i don’t have to leave y’all hanging just because i’m on that journey so i do apologize for not coming out with the content that you guys have been looking for but we’re back and all we can do is just be better okay

Trying to get into that realm but you know who y’all it’s hard okay and then i also do vlogs and you know lifestyle things i’m trying to get my channel very uh targeted i feel like my channel is targeted for greek life but i want to
Get it targeted in other things as well so yeah let’s see if i can do that i think i can i know i can’t anyway so you guys this video is going to be how you can do the unthinkable how you can write a bomb interest letter and only have it one page
Because we only want a one-page interest letter as greek members i don’t want to read a whole book about you i just don’t i don’t personally if i’m being completely honest and i’m pretty sure a lot of people can agree with me it’s just like a job you don’t want to ever
Go to a job with uh three pages of your resume i don’t care what you did back in 2015. i just need to know what you did maybe 2019 all the way up until now because i’ma ask you you know your your job history but i don’t need to see it
You know what i’m saying like i don’t know i don’t want to do that so i’m going to tell you guys the three main questions that you need to have in your interest letter that can have you have a one-page interest letter and it can be
Chef’s kiss okay so the first thing you guys regarding what you want to say or how your how the layout should be it should say to whom may concern or you can say to the chapter of you know like that i personally did it to the chapter of because you know i’m
Specifically targeting the top high chapter about capability incorporated um so that was what i was targeting you know like i’m specifically targeting my chapter so i did to the chapter of yeah right and then did the date on the other side so think of this as a paper
The if you’re reading the paper so this side is to the chapter of or to whom it may concern and then this one over here like a little bit lower a little bit higher you have the date simple right then you want to indent you want to indent we still we still are
Going back to the basics when writing an interest letter because it still is an interest letter okay you want to use punctuation you want to have correct spelling um you don’t want to repeat yourself in different ways like i would say hi my name is deja you know i’m interested in your organization
Then i go back in and be like yeah because you know my name is deja and i’m still interested in organ you know what i’m saying you don’t want to keep saying the same thing over and over in different ways because people peep that and it’s not cute
Sis or bruh you wanna do that right so then the first thing that you’re starting out with the question that you want to be answering the first question is who are you that’s the question who are you tell me about yourself like i want to know who you are
So you introduce yourself it’s the introduction of yourself just a little bit a little bit of an introduction of yourself nothing more nothing less then the next question is why do you want to join whatever organization that you want to join that is the second paragraph then the third paragraph is
Why are you a good why are you a good fit why should we pick you then that’s where you say well i’m the president of the student government secretary of black student union you feel me um um for me i i mentioned that i was in a
Um service fraternity which i which i at the time i was still active in what else i um whatever your credentials are something good um i was fairly active in college but not that active when i think about it now but those are the three questions that
You want to ask yourself you guys you want to you want to answer who am i why do i want to join this organization why should you pick me or why would i be a good fit those are a lot those are along the lines of the
Questions that you want to ask yourself when you’re writing your interest letter now some chapters again may have targeted questions that they want you to answer with that being said you answer those questions but you don’t spend so much time on those questions because that can literally make your interest letters so
Long and you would you would really hate for the reason why you’re not picked is because your interest letter was two pages i literally you guys believe it or not i have heard of girls literally coming to me and saying hey i didn’t get picked because my interest letter was so long
So this is actually for a um subscriber who reached out to me and asked me how can i um make my interest letter one page because i didn’t get picked because my interest letters my interest letter was two pages and she also didn’t sign it at the end so
Obviously at the end of the the three paragraphs after you answer those three questions you want to say um um what what is it thank you and then you put your first last name type down print it and then you sign um i really wish i had my intro
To you guys because i would love to read it to you guys and just show you guys you know what i said i’m gonna definitely try to find it and hopefully it’ll be a video for you guys but right now it’s it’s above me um but yes those are the three questions
That you want to ask yourself you guys it’s freaking easy it’s so easy to just write an interest letter like it’s not it’s not that hard now if they have questions of their own then obviously you want to make sure that you answering those questions to a t
Um you’re specific you’re you’re you’re straight forward and you’re answering the questions you’re not beating around the bush and answering the questions um so yeah i don’t mind reading people’s interest letters i do not mind it um so yeah just send them over to me i’ll read them to you i’m not
I read them to you i’ll read them for you i’m not going to allow you guys i’m not going to get back as soon as possible i’m just not i the type of time that i’m on i am really trying to get out of debt so it’s going to be a minute
When i can get back to y’all because i still have emails that i’ve yet to answer because i just haven’t been in the mental space to really sit down and look at my phone and read these long emails because obviously you guys don’t understand that i don’t like to read
Like i literally have to force myself to read a book every month because i’m just trying to you know be i’m just trying to grow up and be a grown up but it’s really hard just reading a book every month and it’s not it’s not that i don’t i
Don’t know it’s not that i can’t read because i definitely can but it’s just like in my mind i’m just like why am i doing this but i know i want to better myself and yeah so that is basically the three parts three parts the three questions
That can have you have the amazing interest letter there you guys it might seem very vague but it’s super easy i feel like a lot of people make interest letters like so hard and so overwhelming when honestly it’s just a it’s just a letter about yourself like literally this is yours this is
Your time to be selfish this is your time to shine okay this is your time to show out and show up and say everything good about yourself because a lot of people do it naturally and it’s annoying to others but to have the opportunity to really just talk about yourself
And say how you’re a great candidate like i enjoyed that thoroughly i was just like i am amazing for your organization i think i believed i even said in my entries letter that like even though i even though aka would be adding to me
I would also be adding to aka like i was bold with it okay i was a little spicy little blunt little thing i was just like you you need me you need me and your org honey because i’m making organization period no let me stop but i really did
Though i definitely did say um even though i would be adding even though aka would be adding to me i am also adding to aka because i’m bringing something that a lot of a lot of girls in this organization do not have um and that’s no shade this is nothing
This is not to be offensive but i know what i bring to the table love okay i can set the table by myself and i will still be bringing the table let me stop this is this is annoying oh yeah you guys i hope you guys enjoyed
