They do to transform the lives of young men and young women this is a moment for eku greek life on a college campus is part of the foundation of what you’re going to experience moreover black greek life in fact is a lifetime union it demands that we do honorable things
That we live by our cardinal principles that we hold our secrets dear and that we cherish our pearls the results of my greek life are that you finish what you start you sustain what you finish you grow in your abilities and you trust in your spiritual intuition that laughs and about your spiritual
Intuition that’s what black greek organizations are about i can’t speak for all organizations but i do know that don’t deny your spiritual intuition because sometimes you will go astray but if you’ve got a good home base you will come back i came to eastern kentucky university
In the fall of 1986 as an eager young man from lexington kentucky with no biological brothers but when i got to campus what i saw was a group of young men walking around the campus wearing red and white doing very positive things and i liked what i saw
In the first half of that semester so in the spring of 1987 i went to what they called a capital smoker and i made a life-changing decision to join kappa alpha psi fraternity i united with the group of guys that were and are doing great things and achieving in every field
