Samir and Idan you guys probably like I don’t have faite Vlog with them but they’re like our best friends we see them every weekend we adore them and then we also adore her sister and brother-in-law and so we’re going to celebrate Nasim her sister’s birthday this weekend and it’s like her friend

We’re being so last year we were Tinker Bell and Peter Pan and had fun with we had a lot of fun with it um obviously Disney and just kind of like inner child Vibes like sweet so we decided to like carry on with that theme this year and
We’re doing another Disney situation I’m going to be Cinderella he’s going to be Prince Charming I literally look like somebody that works at that his costume is so good so yeah I’m going to start getting ready now I’m going to do my hair and makeup and then we’ll come back
And show show you guys and then take you along see if anybody else is dressed up we’ll See Okay I just finished doing my makeup today was actually or no last night was also the first day that I put on self tanner since gosh I don’t know well I’ve done like instant self tanners for like weddings and events and stuff the kind that just like comes off after but I
Don’t think I’ve worn like a true layer of self-tanner cuz I’ve just been like outside and in the Sun and stuff and couple years ago Clayton convinced me that that was better for the summer cuz then I could just go swimming way more and like enjoy myself so I have been
Loving not using self tanner cuz it’s such a like chore but I was feeling really pale and especially for like my Halloween costume I was like I need to be tan so I put on self tanner and then I feel like I was a little bit not used
To my makeup with self tanner like cuz it’s everything’s a little bit different so I’m trying to make a little bit bronzer and this is my Cinderella makeup and now I’m going to do my hair I think I’m going to do like an updo situation obviously that feels very Cinderella

Didn’t do much you’re a part of it whether you like it or not yeah we thought we’d share you with you guys some info on how we playing this yes um so obviously engagement shoots I feel like are kind of a more new age thing I
Could be wrong about that I’m not sure but I feel like maybe it’s not that traditional of a thing but over the years with social media and stuff I’ve seen a lot of Engagement shoots and I think that the photos for those are so fun because it’s not your wedding photos
Obviously and it’s not as much like pressure and as many people to entertain and all that stuff as your wedding so I do feel like also especially after after doing it that was like a really great thing to do to get some really good pictures with your partner um because
Even like at our engagement party just when you’re trying to like see people and you also want good photos and all this stuff it’s just really chaotic and kind of hard to do and I’m imagining the wedding is going to be like even harder so um engagement photo shoot I think is
Such a wonderful thing you can just have like a lot of fun with it you can go in all kinds of different directions I’ve seen lots of really casual ones ours was like more produced and over the top I would say but we like love the photos
We’re so happy with it it’s also a great way to get material for your save the dates if you want like a picture on your save the dates we are going to pick out something for that yep Yeah so basically like the way that we did it is uh you
Guys know I love to change my outfit like every day and just I love clothes so I wanted to do yeah I wanted to do at least three outfits which is what we ended up doing just because I wanted the variety and and the fun and we also
Wanted it to feel like old school yeah classic classic old money Timeless mhm yeah so that’s what we were kind of going for and so our outfits for that Clayton just wore my soup my go-to soup yeah that you get so much wear out of
But you you found like a hole in your pants or something now oh yeah was a little tear his little tear that’s so he just wore his suit the whole time but we played around with different variations of his suits so like one you had your
Jacket on one you had no jacket bow tie bow tie and then another one jacket no bow tie yeah so we just like played around with his suit a little bit which was really cute and then from my outfit the bar setting I wore a dress from Lulu’s that’s actually really affordable
And I loved that dress it looked so good was super flattering um like a high neck white kind of longer dress loved that and then for the second outfit I wore this Zimmerman dress that I actually bought like 2 days after we got engaged cuz I was like yeah I was
Just like so excited and I was like I want to wear this for something I just started shopping for white clothes immediately immediately yeah and funny enough I actually that was probably my least favorite outfit of the shoot I don’t know if it’s cuz I just like
Rushed into it or it wasn’t really like planned for that shoe at the time I bought it I don’t know and I still liked it but yeah I should like pump my brakes sometimes probably uh got to warn you and then the last outfit was from
Nana jacn that was super cute kind of like pinup girl feel um their stuff Run’s really small though I got a medium in the top and the bottom and they were like a little bit the bottoms were not too big at all they were like still
Pretty tight the top was like a little bit too big on the waist but I don’t think it would have like zipped on the chest area in a small mhm and those also took forever to get to us yeah so order those in advance yeah like three and a
Half weeks to get those and then I got that little veil from anthropology which a lot of people loved and I think like the short Veil is such a fun way to kind of like play into the engagement shoot um like I liked it a lot and then tell
Them how we found our photographer photographer did you get it as a recommendation yeah so I put out on my story like photographers in New York City cuz that’s where we wanted to have the shoot because that’s where we got engaged um and we just love it there
Aesthetically and energetically um so I just put that out and then people sent in Rex but you could also just probably like hashtags and stuff like yeah I search a lot like on hashtags NYC photographer and or Bridal photographer or something like that is searching that
On Instagram or Tik Tok yes but yeah Sydney came direct from Wreck yeah on your yeah and she was great so thank you to whoever all recommended her um and we did we shot on digital we did a lot of flash which we really like for kind of
That like classic old school feel and we also did a lot of film which we personally love as well so those that’s kind of like the details we didn’t do any video we just did like a few little Clips on our phones like behind the scene but we didn’t do any video from
That which we didn’t need and then tell them how you rented the car yeah so I used vinty for the car and I searched like multiple websites but venty actually turned out to be the best website and I didn’t find it till the like day before but I was able to find
One a secure one uh there’s like a few other things up there but viny is literally for that kind of photo shoot wedding event Vint vintage cars and they actually have a huge selection at least in New York they did I don’t know about other areas cuz
It’s all just like local cars but yeah so that turned out really good and it was super easy right I mean you literally did it like the day before and we got a butter yellow Mercedes that we loved um the guy was super nice we like
Drove it around we could do whatever I mean maybe that varies depending on the person but it was so great like highly recommend getting that for sure and then the Spaniard Delaney just reached out to like a few bars and restaurants in New York on Instagram yeah and they were
Down yeah so so that’s kind of how we like coordinated everything I did my own hair I did my own makeup just because I don’t know I just like I always feel more like myself when I do it and it was easier just with like our scheduling and
Stuff cuz we kind of we shot one look in the morning and then we broke for a few hours then we did a second look in the later afternoon and then the third look we did at Sun set so it was like a full day but with like breaks in between so
It was nice to just be able to not have somebody like work around that schedule we just did it our own way yeah it was like super it was fun it was really fun I loved doing and now I love that we have the pictures like I love those photos so much and
Obviously I think like wedding photos are super beautiful and classic and Timeless as well but even like those photos I would like put one somewhere PR sure we don’t have any pictures our not really a people Us in the house true people picture of us in the house people
True but once we have the downstairs and our house is bigger maybe there’ll be like a spot a spot for it yeah I don’t know no for sure yeah so that’s the de hopefully that helps um I also did a makeup tutorial in two different parts so it’s very thorough on

It so that’s it that’s our wedding update for right now like there’s things that you have to tick off for this whole journey so it’s like we needed our engagement shoot to be over and now we need to secure our venue and our date and get the save the dates and stuff but
We needed to get through that first so it is an update on the journey on the journey mhm it’s coming in hot love you Cutie
