Anything related to their intake policies or any policies related to discrimination so I reached out via email as well and I still haven’t heard a response basically what all I could find in regards to Delta Sigma Theta was in their frequently asked questions and one of the questions was I’m not
African-american can I still join according to the website the response is yes Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated an equal-opportunity organization we are interested in women who understand the founding principles of the organization and are willing to uphold and support those principles of Sigma Theta Sorority incorporate its high moral values now
Mind you they didn’t say anything about their stance on discrimination against the same things that asked have I said however they did mention that they’re an equal opportunity sorority so take that as information with Zeta Phi Beta same issue I went on their website and it
Basically said that in order to become a member of Zeta Phi Beta I’ll read what it says it says although the membership in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated is by invitation only we encouraged interested women with a track record of community service and currently pursuing bachelor degrees or possession of
Bachelor degrees to contact a chapter in your local area for more information let me point out that with what I’ve seen with graduate chapters and probably undergrad but mostly with graduate chapters it is by invitation only with majority of the sororities however I don’t really take that as information
Because if you don’t know anything about the sorority and you get to know someone in a sorority that’s how you get your invitation so I don’t really stress it that much when people are like tell them it’s by invitation only yes it is but if you know someone who knows someone who’s
In a sorority you’ll get that invitation if you do what you’re supposed to do so let’s say the Phi Beta I also emailed because I wanted a little more information and their response was I think I think it was very vague in all honesty okay so basically the same thing
I was asking if they had anything to say in regards to their stance on a person’s individual practices if they were interested in joining a sorority all they basically said was please note that Zeta Phi Beta Sorority does not engage in a pledge process and membership into the organization is by invitation only
And then they went on to talk about their membership requirements that’s already on the website so I didn’t really get the answer that I want it there but at least they responded so that makes me feel that lastly we have Simeon burrows already incorporated I already know the
Answer but I want to tell you guys verbatim what our stance is so with our sorority I know for a fact that Semmy Gamma Rho does not include themselves in discrimination they are an equal opportunity sorority and we do not discriminate against gender race all that good stuff let me be political and
Read exactly what we stand for Sigma Gamma Rho is committed to inclusion and does not condone discriminatory practices of any kind and we like all other sororities are reviewing policies to make changes because the world is changing and we want to be a part of those changes now
