A lot of people from there was wondering what was going on and I feel like I need to address this pretty pretty quickly now I’m going to warn you now you know my story times get mad long and I want to start from a pretty early on thing so
Um this is going to be a couple parts so make sure I know you know the the people that are going to take this are going to try to condense it down and make it short but if you really want to know what’s going on and you really want to
Know what’s happening just watch all the parts it’s not it’s not going to be crazy it’s not going to be that difficult two or three parts Max let’s do this so for the people that don’t know the people that’s not from Tass there was some uh there were some events that were happening
Um a couple days ago or when I don’t know when you’re watching this video there were some events that happened in Tallahassee that was celebrating 50 Years of Hip Hop I was invited out for something that wasn’t disclosed to a lot of people and um that’s basically what
I’m trying to clear up but in order to clear up the present I have to go back to the past okay let’s go back now the first thing I want to address is the positive the most positive thing that I’ve always held in my heart about t is
The people there’s never been really any people in Tallahassee that I’ve disliked or anything like that I’ve had beef with about four or five people which 39 years of living coming from Tallahassee and beef with only four or five people that’s an accomplishment you know
Yall know how that goes so you know I look the people have always been there for me so when I talk when I talk about these stories when I tell you what’s going on when I say they and them I’m talking about the higher ups the people
That are up there to make the decisions the people that are in these situations that I’m talking to directly that that know exactly what I’m talking about and if I get anything wrong please feel free to make one of these yourself so again just to clarify when I’m talking about
Them and those people and they it’s the people that’s hire up the people that’s been calling my phone the the officials the politicians the the people in the background that y’all don’t really get to hear from because they want to stay in the back just in case anything goes
Wrong then they don’t have to really take it responsibility but it’s going to all it’s going to all make sense in a second so let’s get let’s get a little history lesson I’m going to leave all personal situations out of this there’s one gajillion personal reasons that things
Are like they are but I’m just going to do I’m just going to give you a few situations that you can look up yourself and you can check the validity of everything you can actually see these for yourself so let’s just do a let give a few examples just a few things right
Tea pain day in tazy Florida there are two tea pay days there’s one in July and there’s one in December I was presented these within the same year 2006 um you know these happened on stage uh the the mayor came up Commissioners came up and things like that and I was
Presented these things right since that day that I was presented well the two separate days that I was presented though since those days those days haven’t been mentioned y’all ain’t heard nothing about t pay day again it was it was kind of like a a quick little picture opportunity T pay’s throwing his
Big concert boom boom Blom uh let’s get the pictures I got the plaques at home hold on real quick you know what let me go get them boom this is the first one what say July the the record thing is in the way but July Proclamation Tay day
Fim Tay Nigam day that’s the first one and then Kaboom there’s the second one [ __ ] December December 7th I think yeah right yeah December yeah that so boom there you go another tea pain day two T Pain days not a mention since then now mind you there is also a tea pay day
In Milwaukee Wisconsin them people celebrate that day they shut the city down they let me throw a festival in their city like I I I passed through all kinds of stuff there they’re so appreciative of T pay day and T pay you know putting their City on much like I
Do tassy all the time they’re just so appreciative of it that they shut down roads you can’t get through certain traffic certain major streets stuff like that like we have whole celebrations and we’ve done it two three years in a row already so you can understand how I kind of don’t
See the comparison is just crazy you know what I mean bottom line is I just really felt [ __ ] on you know what I mean oh but but really only for the first like four or five years like man really would love to throw a party out there or something like that or have
Some kind of Celebration and and and just nope not doing it and you know again I just felt [ __ ] on so two tea pain days no celebration no recognition anytime after that so it kind of just felt like a like a photo op you see how
I switch locations on you that fast I was doing something earlier that’s fine it’s okay which brings me to come to the crib the concert that I threw in tasse now this concert is where they presented me with one of the T pay days now mind
You one of the te pay days is for the city and one of the T pay days is for the county so you know they presented me with one of I can’t remember which one it was at the concert um I brought all these people there I brought twister
Bowwow Kanye West uh PL uh just anybody I could think of man we had so many people there it was a it was a big lineup and I thought it was a a huge thing for the city I didn’t really get anything sponsored I I kind of paid for
Everything myself I had some promoters in there with me and uh you know there was just a lot of inner workings but for the most part it didn’t really cost the city anything and I just wanted to bring all that to my city I wanted to
Represent my city the best way I could did all that um also that night on the stage they gave me the key to the city they gave me the key to the city now mind you I never left there with like an actual key or anything like
That not that I think there’s a physical key to the actual City I just I never got anything for it they just told me I had to key to the city made me hold up this thing and uh that was it I don’t have like any kind of representation
That I actually do have it I don’t have any documentation there’s no plaque there’s no like little tiny key that I can put somewhere and the only reason I’m saying that is because New Orleans also gave me a key to the city but I actually have the key it’s it’s in my
Office down the road but it’s at my office on my desk I actually have a key to the city congratulations T pay thank you you know they know I live there for a little bit and all that stuff cool you know what I mean I I get it cities are
Different maybe but the fact that New Orleans can give me something physical and you know I can really I can like wake up and if I’m having a bad day I can look at the [ __ ] that I’ve done in my life and you know just realize that
Man it was it was good we need those little we need those little reminders sometimes you know what I mean I know you’re supposed to think about it and you know but sometimes we get lost in the negative and it’s nice to see little things like that um TDA didn’t give me
One New Orleans gave me one I’m not from there I lived there for a year I grew up in tazi for more than half of my life and they didn’t they I just need I just wanted like a little tiny little plaque that says this is
Real or something that I can show other people CU now I can just talk about it but you know so again I felt [ __ ] on that’s just how I felt and a lot of people say oh you good you feeling okay cool I’m getting in my feelings that’s
What it’s for if if that’s the case they wouldn’t give anybody the key to the city they wouldn’t honor any anybody wouldn’t do anything I felt [ __ ] on yeah I in my feelings now with the concert I made sure the tickets were inexpensive because I wasn’t trying to
Make money off of this thing I wasn’t trying to do anything that was you know that was crazy um now in this I came in town on a private jet right at that moment we had our cars waiting for us I was driving to Lamborghini when we got to town I drove
My Lamborghini around to really show the kids of Tallahassee like man this is this is this is what can happen you know what I mean driving around I went to Walker for to look at the to look at the uh the game room/ computer room that I put in
There um it was dope it was I went around to different neighborhoods and you know some people liked it some people like don’t nobody care bro like get out of here with that man you trying to show off on that you think you’re better than us it wasn’t nothing like
That but I drove the Lamborghini around the city now after that concert after all them people came and show what they love for Tass and I I bought all this B concert at tany when I got done ugly crying and and you know everybody congratulating me um my dad came to me
And said hey man the mayor told me that while you were driving around earlier in the lambo the sheriff ran your license and they saw that you’re driving on suspended license right now so you can’t drive from here to your hotel CU they’re going to arrest you okay what
He said yeah you can’t drive they said if they see you drivve in that Lamborghini one more time they’re going to arrest you and you would go to jail two nights come back for part two for how that turned out welcome to part two of tasy Love um
So picking up where I left off yeah so I was driving to Lamborghini around town um basically got informed that if they see me driving again they’re going to arrest me on the spot they they they they said they’ll let me leave but they’re still going to do something
About it this is after this i f i’ felt the best I I had felt in my life in a long time I felt accomplished and an ugly crowd in front of a 10,000 people you know what I mean I’m like Tyler assy we did it and then tylerd was like n you
Going to you going to [ __ ] jail so yeah so that that was that was actually that was a a big down man and again again I felt [ __ ] on um so basically when I left I was presented with a court date I I had a court date they they I didn’t know my
License was suspended at the time but they went and checked it and apparently that was true so they were able to send me to court I had to go to court I showed back up to court I from Atlanta went back to Tallahassee for my court date and uh you know the the
Representative there on the other side for you know representing the city she was like really yelling like like going in like we’re going to make an example out of T pay that nobody is above the law he was driving on a supended license and we we need to make an example that
No matter who you are no matter your status we can’t just let celebrities get away with things and it was like it was like a [ __ ] head shot bro I felt I was like what I didn’t commit any crime I didn’t break any traffic laws I didn’t endanger anybody I wasn’t driving
Lamborghini super fast I wasn’t going crazy I wasn’t swerving I wasn’t I wasn’t doing anything wrong they had no reason to run my license they didn’t they never pulled me over they never could pull me over because I wasn’t doing anything I wasn’t driving erratically I wasn’t doing anything to
Actually have the attention of having my license plate or my license run at all so they just ran it because they didn’t like that [ __ ] we have to drop a dime on these [ __ ] they didn’t like seeing that so I um I I just I just kind of like
Like I don’t I don’t know what to say to that like I’m not trying to get off like I’m in court you know what I mean the celebrity would have had just as lawyers show up and all this [ __ ] like and try to come and and and and try to Swindle
Themselves out of out of things I’m not trying to do none of that why are you doing this whole and there was cameras in there and Sh so she was trying to do the I don’t know if she was running for congress next I don’t know but I don’t I just don’t know
Why I got [ __ ] on and they tried they she kept saying we’re going to make an example out of te pain I’m like damn that’s that’s crazy I’m trying to set the example by showing showing these kids and showing the people that I know like what can come up hard work and you
Know the concert the lambo I’m trying to I’m trying to set this example they trying to take the example that no matter what you do I don’t give a [ __ ] what you’ve done for the city you’re going to jail so I got jail time for
That um I had to I had to turn myself in a couple weeks after that and yeah I had to spent a week in jail I had to spent a week in jail it was the it was the craziest thing and it wasn’t even like real jail it was like half
Jail half community service but the community service was in the jail so they just wanted they wanted that quick little moment on camera like like this it was so community service that I had to be in jail but I could go to a hotel at night like nothing they just
Needed the image of me going into jail and the the the recordings of her saying that she was going to make an example out of me and then they recorded me going in jail and then that made the paper and then and the and the news and
They just let me go to a hotel at night I ain’t even have to sleep in the jail that was it was such a it was such a facade and such a such a fake thing to do like it was just a waste of time and taxpayers money like I don’t understand
That so that was one thing that that’s oh boy and it was just it was such a stupid thing like I drove back to tahd by myself in a truck this time and turned myself in and they were like oh no you just got to come in and fill up some soap bottles
And uh yeah when you get done with the day after it gets dark you can go you can go stay at a hotel if you want to I’m like what why am I here dude it was just crazy so they sent me to jail so
They can make an example out of me this is the city the city representativ sent me to jail so they can make an example out of me after I did that concert and after I you know after I got the key to the city and T pay day and after all
That again they [ __ ] on me I felt [ __ ] on by Tyler hasse again for no reason just so they can get a good look real quick to make it look like they’re hard on crime regardless of the status you know if but they don’t do that to politicians they don’t do that to
Politicians they only do it to people like me and you know you know I go but they just wanted just wanted me to be [ __ ] on so and that brings me to my next time now mind you every time something like these situations happen I said you know what [ __ ] that place I’m
Not going back I’m never going back I’m never going back guess what I do I go right back immediately next day the take your shirt off video um you guys remember my song take your shirt off we filmed that in Tallahassee now before we filmed that video in Tallahassee
I had an idea I wanted it to be like a college theme I wanted to be like you know uh fraternities sororities I want to be stepping and stuff like that so who do I call I call the officials them the the up top people at fam you Florida
A&M University yes sir because I want to film my next tler ay video it’s a major release this is being released by by Jive like this is a major release it’s not like a not not like a side project or anything like that this song went
Number one overseas like you know it was it was crazy I want to shoot this video at FAMU the black college in tazy absolutely I want to shoot it that fam you have the Rattlers in there get all get all the frats in there get the March 100 in there get all
That uh them people said uh we listen to the song and you said titties in the song so unfortunately our University can’t have anything to do with it I said titties in the song in in an otherwise very clean song they said I said titties in the song so they
Couldn’t be involved in it FAMU shut me down from shooting a video at FAMU because of the word titties now what’s my next option I got to call FSU cuz I still wanted to be a college theme and I still want to shoot in Tallahassee I called FSU Florida State
University they said we reviewed the song and we would love to have you come on up you can shoot it anywhere on campus you want shoot on Greek row do whatever you want to do we would we just love we just love to support go ahead man do
Everything do whatever you whatever you feel like you need to do you get your ass on up here and you come film this video we’d love to have you it’s amazing so we came up and shat of course FS you invited us fam you shut us
Down I felt [ __ ] on by my own people then at the end of the night the moon let me film in there uh you know we had like an Afterparty set but they also let us film a lot of the video in there so
Shout out to the Moon um you know M Bey set up the the corner store on on the on the on the on the website so I appreciate that shout out to mzy you already know what it is um man we just
We we had a lot of we had a lot of fun and that was a huge video for me and it was a huge song like that like I’m going on tour in Australia uh starting in January and that is my biggest song in Australia
That’s the that song is the reason I can tour in Australia you know what I mean so it’s like damn I couldn’t even film a video at the school my dad went to that my mom went to that my wife went to my whole family went to went to FAMU and they was
Like n you said titties bro we we don’t want you over here get out of here with that not not titty no titties on my watch here’s the kicker though a couple months later them same people that told me that I couldn’t come up there because I said titties literally called my phone
Asking me to make a donation to the university asking me for thousands of [ __ ] dollars asking me for thousands of dollars the same people that told me I couldn’t film a video up there that I was also panned for they told me I couldn’t film it because I said titties
But you know what hey we’ll we’ll take titties if they’re coverting dollar bills please pay us money give us Money for Nothing give us money for we didn’t do anything and we shut you down a couple months ago but you know what just a show your love you want you you should

Works for her to go last so we can just set the band up last and then we take the band oh you know what that works okay how about this but then I get there and automa a automatically they can they can switch it now I found out why they
Wanted to do that um they let Fantasia go first she did an amazing job I got on stage and got through half of my show they just cut my show they cut they cut my dead in half cut the lights off cut the mic off like and just started
Walking around the stage just like unplugging stuff just wrapping up stuff and not not paying attention to me at all like literally ignoring me I’m like bro what’s going on we done we done and they just wrapping up cables while I’m still on stage performing you know what

The name of the street to te pain wait boom I’m excited okay tell me who I need to talk to I get like eight I get eight numbers it’s not eight numbers it’s like two people but you know he told me I had to call other people that was uh in
Charge I was like let me know who who’s in charge I called him so yeah confirmation Yeah man they want to change Estates road to Tay way and I’m like absolutely I just saw E40 get his childhood Street uh changed to to to E40 I saw Missy get her joined wuang Clan
Bro I’m up I’m up this is amazing yes let’s do this absolutely let’s do that right now I you know what when y’all need me there I’ll come there uh they tell me they need me there on on the Friday right I said cool I’m there I’m
You know I I told him it’s going it’s going to take a little bit uh I got to fly you know I want to bring my wife I want to bring my family and I was like yeah what what about if you drove though
I was like okay I got a RV I can come up there in RV uh but you know it’s still going to cost me money to get there it’s it’s no free trips you know so I I’ll I’ll I’ll handle all that I got to pay
My driver uh you know I got to pay for pay for rooms cuz I got to be there the night before that that means I got to pay my driver the day all the stuff so I went through all the payment stuff and how I’m going to get there cool I’m
Ready to go right radio silence for a couple days nothing after this very exciting thing just Absolut silence for a couple days um you know I’m asking my head of operations nickolette yo did you talk did you talk to Greg did you talk to anybody she’s like I’ve been hitting
Everybody on emails that that you gave me from the phone calls haven’t heard anything back haven’t heard anything came back right so again the ceremony is in the morning I’m not a morning person so you know I’m trying to get things together so I can be there the night
Before so I can wake up and just go do the ceremony and then get my driver back home before he charges me for another full day um so they they get back with us they get back with us uh after a after a couple days and you know we finally back in
Contact with them they you know give us only a few more details you know what’s going on and they and they start saying they start adding stuff they start adding stuff they’re like you know and at this point I had been not told anything about the the hip-hop [ __ ] the
50 years of hip-hop I a [ __ ] about none of that they said I’m Chang Chang the name of the street that’s all I’m thinking about I a they ain’t told me about this 50 years of hip-hop so they said yo now it’s this 50 years of hip-hop thing
Happening and uh we got some kids doing some some some rap stuff they they rapping about positive stuffff will you be able to stay after your ceremony a little bit and just watch these kids perform and just tell them they did a good job and just make them feel good
Because they rapping about nonviolence and stuff like that I’m like of course I can do that yeah let’s let’s let’s you know sure I’ll stay there for a little bit I still won’t get charged the extra [ __ ] especially if it’s right after my street sign thing if it’s right after
That and we can dip out right after absolutely I got you I got you on that um you know I’m I’m releasing a song that day well I’m supposed to be but I will I’ll push it back if that means you know if it means I’m getting a the
Street named after me and then release the song that would be that’ be a crazy look you know what I mean I’m fully independent I can I can do what I want I can make the song a part of the ceremony I can you know it’ll be cool um yeah it
Didn’t it it that yeah things started going crazy right after that because they disappeared again they did disappear again um it was it was weird now mind you this is like like a week before so I got like a week to prepare and they keep disappearing and they keep coming they
Keep disappearing and coming back so now they say when they do finally come back they say uh so check this out we found out that getting the street sign changed is going to be a real long process uh so we can’t actually do that and I’m like
Well how long is the process like it’s probably going to be you probably going to have to wait till like January or February if we get started right now then we can change the name of the street in like January or February I’m like okay cool let’s wait till then
They’re like no we we still need you to come Friday I’m like but why though why would you why would you need me to come Friday if we’re not doing if I gota wait till January or February to do the street sign thing cuz that’s all I’ve been told
About all I’m hearing about is the street sign thing and then can you stay and just listen to these kids rap and tell them they did a good job and then you can leave absolutely but they said no we still need you to come Friday I
Don’t know what for no uh no I don’t want to come anymore so it’s just common sense no don’t want so they’re saying in order to change the name of the streets the residents all the residents on the street have to sign off on it they have
To get like a official thing from the city and it’s just a long process and we go through this back and forth for like two hours of why I’m okay with waiting and them saying why they still need me to come Friday and I’m like no that’s
Fine let’s go ahead and do the process and I just want it to be a big moment I’m releasing a song Friday I’d rather just stay and do that um no they not they not hearing none of that [ __ ] so I told them just like try to figure
Something out if we can get it done and get it done they say they come back they they like all right let us let us go let us go see what we can do they they go away for a while come back a few hours later they say okay here’s what we’re
Going to do we’re not going to change the name of your street we’re going to put a sign on a different street that says your name I’m like oh y’all changing the name of another street now that can that no no no no we’re just going to put a
Sign on Adams we’re going to put a sign on Ridge and Adams because you get more traffic there you you know more people will see it uh we’re going to put a sign there let me show you the sign let show you the sign they said we just going to put this
Sign we’re gonna put this sign up on on rids road and Adams so people can see it um it’s just she says rid Ro city of Tallahassee te paint that’s that’s not changing the name of the street to me you know what I mean not to sound like a dick but that’s
Not bro so my response to then was I can just like pay to have that happen like I can I can just do one of those adopt a street things like it’s not that’s not a hard thing to do anybody can do that it’s not a special thing to me I don’t
Really want to come to a ceremony for a sign on the side of a road that I didn’t grow up on like that’s just and don’t make any sense to me so they’re trying everything they can to get me to come to this [ __ ] and I don’t know why they’re
Trying so hard because they’re not saying anything that’s like special for me you know what I mean so that’s when the 50 years of hip-hop thing starts coming up and they saying we got MC light we got douge fresh and I’m like oh I know what happened y’all
Celebrating 50 Years of Hip Hop in Tallahassee and y’all [ __ ] around and got the wrong people to come because y’all got people from New York to come to Tallahassee and y’all ain’t get nobody from Florida or Tallahassee and now y’all getting back last so now y’all need somebody that can come
There y’all need y’all just scrambling now cuz it’s real short notice and y’all already had this event going on why wasn’t I included in the whole 50 years of hip-hop thing so now I see what’s going on I I understand y’all trying to save y’all ass and y’all trying to use
