What’s up y’all it’s Porsha welcome back to my channel thank You’ all for being here with me today today we are going to have a hopefully really quick conversation about my new book called Out so I wanted to have just a little quick heart tohe heart about this book because I realize um a lot of people are having some of the same kind of comments as far as is your conviction supposed to be everybody else’s conviction or if they’re not serving or treating their
Organization fraternity or sorority as an idol then why do they come out of it so I wanted to briefly go over what a covenant is so that people get a better understanding of why the Covenant has to be broken with fraternities and sorties so a covenant is a binding agreement
Like a legal contract between two or more parties you have Covenant agreements like marriage and then you have Covenant agreements made spiritually like the Covenant that God made with Abraham we made covenants in various ways okay they can be verbal through vows Oaths pledges given they
Can also be in the Realms of the spirit like through dreams right um that’s another video for another other day but when you pledge or give an oath or take a vow to a secret society you come into Covenant with the deity of that organization why because the founding members of these
Organizations chose to have a deity represent the organization we ain’t tell them to do that we don’t know why they did it that’s just what they did as it pertains to this book called out fraternities and sororities how to get out of something you should have never been in I want
Y’all to know that this book is not a bashing session for people who are a part of fatori and sororities it’s not a bashing session it’s not a oh you doing wrong you like no this is a book of someone who has went into the experience blindly not knowing all that I was
Signing myself up for or the covenants that I was making or the things that I was getting myself into going through a horrible process to even be a part of it and then coming out on the end and realizing like no this thing is not of God
And the the realization happened from a series of dreams when you read this book you will see how that happened but sometimes in the Realms of the spirit you have opened doors for the enemy to come in and attack your life to infiltrate your life to do things to you
To um cause havoc in your life to cause delay in your life to cause stagnation in your life to cause all kind of sickness and disease and things to go wrong and anti-marriage and anti- progress and anti suuccess and those things can very well be as a result of
The consequences of the Covenant that you made with a secret society or organization or anything of that matter that was an illegal Covenant it’s the Covenant agreement that you came into agreement with that is the issue because the organizations were founded on the basis of idolatry these Roman and Greek gods are
Actually Idols like lowercase G gods that people actually serve somewhere else in the world and if they believe in them and they serve them and worship them then obviously there becomes an issue isue when said God is Lor kg is now over an organization that you have
Pledged your life to so whether you think you are in idolatry or you think you aren’t the mere fact that you are tied to something that is spiritually backed by something else says that you are trying to mix two together that do not belong and as the Bible tells us no
One can serve two masters the fraternities and the do it blindly they don’t necessarily know that there is a deity or a spirit Behind these organizations and so they are pulled into it by a level of deception and what the enemy does is he tries to
Tell you like oh if you don’t put your organization before God then you good you not an idol worship but the very Foundation of those organizations is is idolatry the fact that those Founders decided that just because they were studying Roman and Greek in school they and just because they were not accepted
Into other fraternities and sororities that were of not of their ethnicity that that does not mean whatever you’re studying or whatever you’re not allowed to be a part of create that thing and then take what you’re studying these Greek gods and make it the emblem or the symbol or the spirit behind your
Organization right and then you you lure people in with it being founded on quote unquote Christian principles when in all reality all you did was take scripture and principles out the Bible and manipulate them to try to intertwine them with your organization in order for it to make sense for people
Who would be Believers like us and would see like okay well two and two is going together this is all about you know Sisterhood scholarship and service loving your neighbor um studying to show yourself approve uh serving the people and being in the hands of feet of Jesus
Like it is not the same thing and all of those things loving your neighbor serving his people being the hands of feet of Jesus um being being wise and knowledgeable and understanding gaining knowledge and education all of those things can be done with the spirit of
God they do not have to be and the spirit of God is the holy spirit okay the Holy Ghost like they those things that you do do not have to be done with an organization they can literally be done outside of it and I think we as a body
Of Christ have to get to a place where if anything in our lives makes us dependent on them instead of God it has to go because God has to be our full dependency and I say that because one of the main reasons I got into it was for the networking aspects
Like I know that I have big dreams I know that I have a lot of things that I want to do in my life and I was just like well if they said that I’m going to be able to network and I’m going to be able to climb you know whatever kind of
Ladder and in the social world and make sure you know point a go to point B and all these other things if I’m going to be able to do those things then that is key for me to get a part of this thing because somebody going to pull me up and
Kid you not when I graduated college and I moved to LA my first job my first major entertainment job was working with bet and I got that from a former profy and a profy is someone who comes into the chapter that you pledge of that organization before you and so I had got
That opportunity through a former profight and so it was like oh wow this thing actually works like when I graduated college I’m like oh this thing actually works like you know and a lot of the most amazing people that I met some of the most amazing people that I
Met I met because of the sority I ain’t going to hold you like it’s it’s a situation like I got my first head shots done by a a a wonderful amazing woman in the sority who I love dearly um when I first moved to LA and so it’s like you
You have these instances where the the connections and everything start working out and the social climb that you have start working out and all of these things become beautiful for you however because you are tied to something that is not of God then you are not doing these things God’s way you’re not
Building your networks God’s way you’re not becoming a a social activist or somebody socially responsible or even a social butterfly you’re not doing all those things the God’s way you get what I’m saying or God’s way we just got to get to a place where we depend solely on
God and I ain’t going to hold you like I strived for when did I leave La 20 20 21 and I got there 2016 so for 5 years for 5 years I strived my hardest in La like pursuing my dreams and all of those things and while I feel like I was doing
Good and things could have very well took off for me I believe with all of my heart that God did not want Delta to get the credit for that that every every way that I was going to climb or everything that I was going to do and and every big place that
I was going to enter or every important room that I was going walk in those Graces and those Destiny helpers that come to me and those purpose accelerators and people that I’m connected to that get me into somewhere or even my own talents and my gifts that
Make room for me those things come from God and God don’t want nothing else getting the glory for what he is doing in my life because all glory belongs to the father nothing that I have is of my own ability nothing that I am is of my own Grace
It’s all by the grace of God literally like if it wasn’t for him who would I be and where would I be so to become a part of an organization just to say that I’m a part of this thing so things are going to shake for me or I meet somebody else
Who’s a part of this thing oh and now I got a good Network or I am you know prospering because I decided to be a part of an organization or it’s on my resume or somebody see it as a ring on my finger or they see me with a a
Letterman jacket on or even a license plate on my car like what no ain’t no organization Ain’t No Other uh God lord case g ain’t no Idol and OD ain’t nothing going to be able to take the glory for what God is doing in my life it can only be God everything everything
That is that is of good and perfect comes from the Lord that’s scripture every good and perfect giv comes from God nothing else will be able to give me what God can give me and I think when we get to that point of realization that everything that we
Need want desire even every void in our heart that needs to be filled that those feelings only get filled by the presence of God by being his presence by spending time with him by building a relationship with him by becoming one with him cuz that’s what Jesus did for us when he
Died on the cross him dying on the cross for us was atonement and shout out to Apostle Dominic J um my pastor who preaches that atonement means at onement literally like if you break the word up it’s at onement meaning being at one with God you are brought back to one
With God because in sin we are separated from him but because of the blood of Jesus Christ we are atoned we are redeemed we are Ransom brought back into the fellowship with God and because of that Fellowship like nothing and no one can be able to come into in between my
Relationship with him and if something in the Realms of the spirit has legal access to me because of my declarations or my vows or my oath or my pledges that I said out of my mouth if they have legal rights to me whether to give me
Bad dreams or to delay my life or make me stagnant in certain areas or to try to um hinder my relationships or infiltrate any area of my life or make any area of my life seem sour and bad then that Covenant has to be broken that
Vow has to be broken that oath has to be broken that pledge has to be broken and I think that’s what we need to understand when we get ourselves in these covenants that’s what is the issue the unclaimed forces that comes with these Covenants have legal access in the
Realms of the spirit to wreck havoc in someone’s life and maybe your life may be all good and Gucci Everything peaches and cream but as I say all the time the Bible tells us that God says he he talks about idolatry in such a way that it is a generational curse that
Comes to people who serve other God Gods Lor she Gods okay he says I will visit the iniquity to the third and fourth generation so you may think your life all peaches and cream and all good and and fine and dandy but that Covenant that you made to that secret
Society or whatever organization that is not of God that Covenant that you made may have signed your children up for something that you probably won’t see because you’ll be long gone or you’re grandchildren or your great grandchildren you know what I’m saying like you never really know and so that’s
Why when God gives you knowledge when he shines light on something remember brought called out of Darkness Into His Marvelous Light whenever he calls you out and brings you out of the dark and into the light you must then answer that call and decide okay I’m going to walk
In the light and within walking in the light those things have to be renounced every single Covenant you have to repent you have to renounce you need to pray over your life give God back the Throne of your heart where he belongs okay in your life in your spirit your
Soul your mind your your body and your mind like all have to be in agreement that Jesus Christ is my lord and savior he is the Lord of my life and you need to plead the blood of Jesus over yourself okay because let me tell you something the blood still works
The blood still works oh I’m messing up my bun but to God be the glory the blood still works I say all that to say um that this book called out called out of fraternities and sares is just one of the series um of the called out series but this topic is so
Important it’s so important to the body of Christ we need to have an understanding of what it is that we are partaking in in and what it is that we get ourselves into that very well may be rubbing up friction that may be causing friction in your life spiritually emotionally
Financially because it cost money to get in these organizations okay you don’t jump up in that M for free it cost money to stay active it cost money to be involved okay we need to have the realization go before the God and ask him like don’t even just take my word
For it because I can speak I can talk about this until I am blue in the face but if you don’t go seek God on this thing then you will never have your own Revelation you will never have your own conviction you will never have your own confrontation or understanding from the
Lord okay the Bible says and all I get in getting an understanding and don’t just take my word for it go and get an understanding for yourself ask God to show you the scriptures that speak against such things ask God to reveal to you what it
Is that may very well be wrong with it ask God to reveal to you how you can get out of it ask God to even show you who else you should talk to about it if you’re in it and you know other people who are in it too how you can talk to
Them how you can speak with them cuz we actually need the wisdom on to how to navigate certain conversations regarding this thing because we don’t want nobody to be offended you know what I’m saying people are easily offended these days everything has to have a rebuttal or a
Negative comment and all of these things and it’s just like the truth is the truth and literally Jesus said that the truth will make you free he said then you will know the truth if you seek him then you will know the truth and the truth will make you free
And so if the truth makes us free the truth is the truth is not for you to be offended it’s not for you to feel bad it’s not for you to feel some type of way it’s literally just so that you can come out of darkness and into God’s
Marvelous Light man I I I pray for anybody that may be watching this who may need a deeper understanding who may need a revelation from you oh God who may need to hear from you oh God I pray that you would speak to them like only
You can do that you would touch them that you would talk with them that you would walk with them that you would teach them in every which way that they are seeking you that you oh God would be found by them oh God I thank you for
Every heart and mind who was listening and I ask that you bless them and cover them and keep them oh Lord bless them over and Beyond what they could possibly imagine and anybody who needs to be set free from anything oh Lord deliver them deliver them
