How did the week start where y’all want to begin I mean we just came off the holiday right so we got a chance to spend some time with family over the Thanksgiving break yo we can talk about food this episode too we can talk about food yeah every
Episode want to go straight to the food bro we I just want to be clear just want just want to be clear you know everybody had the fried turkey did y’all have fried turkey nah man I had no fried turkey I had fried chicken I don’t know well
Okay as long as it wasn’t from Popeyes man nah no no no we don’t mess with Popeyes too many hormones so so the white cooked right yeah she threw down man she did her Thug Dizzle it was just it was great yo I be eating pound cake for five
Days you look like it you look like it hey I’m happy look what the H the song go if you’re happy and you know it clap your hands happy boy so you couldn’t clap your hands because you have P oh man that’s what that’s what’s good
Man it’s always good to see Kareem this time of year because he stayed with a smile on his face between Thanksgiving and you yo this is the best Thanksgiving is probably my favorite holiday Thanksgiving man so so you know how when people say uh It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the
Year like most people most people thinking about the Christmas season cream is like giving it’s Ed is giving it’s giving food like a man I got a lot of memories I got a lot of great memories between Thanksgiving and Christmas a lot actually in my do life man it was always
A good time yo big UPS to my man our frat Brother Bruce Elliott man two Maro Studios if you was around during that time then you already know what time it is so shout out to him man he was always throwing get togethers man and we were
Just hanging out that’s when we was Living Single in our 20s man we was just hanging out so yeah met some cool people there man met some cool yeah yeah yeah Maro Studios Maro Studios man that’s where Brandon and I used to hang out man when we were just friends we
Weren’t dating at the time you know we were just hanging out so we would catch up over there love connection love connection man yo Bruce and Ethan are the two people who got us got us to help us to get together man so shout out to them
Dudes for sure but anyway enough about me so what’s going on in y’all lives man like what’s new holidays are coming anything special planned for the for the family or for the kids or for the wife or um anybody so well kind of just you know picky back and on you know because
We because you got a chance to talk about your Thanksgiving and you know he like oh I don’t you talk so much about your Thanksgiving forget everybody else’s right but uh uh shout out and again I know we do shout outs later but you know because we talking about Thanksgiving
Shout out to uh my leaders man Dr Bishop Gregory R Wells Pastor Andrea G Wells and victory living Christan Faith Center so we did uh Community meals on Thanksgiving morning and uh we were just out there you know just serving meals to the community uh for for about you know
Two and a half or so hours um maybe a little more but around around that time frame and it was you know I mean you know and shout out to all the volunteers you know leaders members everybody who came you know came through made a dish
You know I mean helped serve you know just all just it was truly a full Church effort to uh put together some some hot meals uh for the community and um you know it it was it man it was to see the people come from all directions and to
Get a meal and you know what I mean just you know it was it was that’s what that’s what church is about man it’s about you know loving on the community and being a place and a resource where people you know can come to you
Know and uh it was it was it was it was man that was how I spent my my Thanksgiving morning and uh you know and it just reminded me um not only again how how important how vital the institution of the church is but uh how
Much I have to be thankful for Amen brother um yeah and then uh my wife my wife wife held it down cooking she made a dish um for for the community meal and then she you know she was cooking up at home I sufed where I could on Wednesday
Night where she needed um but she was a machine man she she went to the we hours of the morning I uh I made my usual I made I made a cheesecake I ended up making like two and still got more to make um bro you didn’t share nothing with us bro
Like listen say pull up pull up and come get a slice when we when we get off pull up slice you know what I mean I got you you know I can’t leave the house right now I’m G do tomorrow though curfew man curfew hey I ain’t a
Shame I ain’t shamed of the Gospel of Brandy Hayes I ain’t sh amen amen what verse is that bro what verse one in one it doesn’t go past that we having my sister on here sound like the warden man yeah the manager of the house man is
That is that proverbs 31 yeah I dig it yeah man yeah um then uh you know we we we ate um went and hung out with uh my brother-in-law and they had a bunch of family over my mother-in-law was over at my brother-in-law’s house um all of you
Know wife nieces and nephews like came through pulled up it was it was a good time and then I shot back home because my mom and uh sister and all my nieces and nephews came by ate up uh going into Friday um we just man it was just a real super
Chill relaxed day didn’t do nothing uh Saturday I went I went y’all know my favorite Pastime is actually going to catch a football game so I went a CH went got a chance to see uh Monroe High School play um and that was it was it
Was man it was it was beautiful to be in a tennis um to watch Mal Loa Kai Moses man break the section five record for most touchdown passes in the season he threw uh he threw his he threw I believe three touchdowns on the day and uh again
Set set a new record for 30 for 39 touchdown passes in in a Section Five Season man it’s you know yeah super impressive yeah they uh that sound like Player of the Year to me you know but you know the same way there was some politics that happened in the game that
Left them on the uh you know on the short end of the Stick of the game um we’ll see you know let’s let’s hope the politics don’t play out the same way uh as we as we’ve already seen during the sectionals that they they can play out
You know what I mean so so let’s you know I’m just I I’m hoping that the fact that the the mere fact that he’s up as one of the one of the candidates for Player of the Year in New York state sends a message to section five that
This is your player of the year you can’t how you set a section five record and not get played a year I don’t know but you know let we’ll see so uh y they they they did the same thing to me man oh yeah said most games not played
So me nothing man they could at least got you a water bottle or something the name on something man listen they could even put a piece of tape on there and wrote my name on there I would have been but I I I just want to add something I’m
Trying to be kind of careful how I say this but and this our show you ain’t gota be careful all right bet so yo man this young man wrote This Record on his own recognizance man like no matter who his family members are what other people
Have done this young man earned it like he’s earned it like he’s did the work on the off season he’s did the work on the field he’s been a St quarterback now for three years I believe maybe four and there’s no reason why somebody who has shattered a section five record has
Made it to the semifinals uh lash year made it to the sectionals there’s no reason why let’s take it back further has turned a team that was 0 and a at one point to a championship team there’s no reason why this person shouldn’t be this young man shouldn’t be
Player year and if he’s not then we know as politics we we know it is like we we just know it is and him to hear crazy part about that uh so he transferred in from um from Fairport the coach at Fairport told him he should he should move he he shouldn’t play
Quarterback told him he shouldn’t play quarterback that coach is eat eating his words right now you know but but it go it it just one it goes to show you one how we’re viewed and and and it’s never what somebody thinks about you that matters most man always it’s always man
Know know who God said you are what God sure and I’m sure his dad his daddy his father was like nah yeah yeah n we we we gonna go where your talents are going to be respected and that’s what happened yeah that’s that’s what happened you
Know that yeah and again it’s that just like I said it just it’s man to tell to tell a young man like nah you should you know N I don’t think quarterback is it for you all right well yeah thanks yep yep that’s what Justin phield said the
University of Georgia appreciate it yeah I’m GNA go to Ohio State and win a championship and and if you and if you if you if you if you checking them out this year man Justin Fields is has been balling the last few few games oh yeah okay been watching it yeah he’s he’s
He’s a player that that young brother can play yeah he got a fire in him man he got a fire yeah yeah young man got a fire man but so yeah so yeah I know we touched a little bit on you know section five and uh you know football so again
Shout out to both teams East High School Maro High School McQuade High School all the teams and really to all of the young young men who played this year y’all all have made this a magical season all together like just as a section like it’s just been great games and B you’ve
Been to the games I’ve been to the games Ike probably saw the highlights like this year has been a special year in football that I have not seen in a long time yeah it it was I agree man that was that it was a special year man special year um to your point
Right funny enough about the whole politics and section five and speaking of McQuade so the team that you know that got a lot of help in their win against McCade last week there was a whole article in the paper uh because this this week because the school that beat them they were
Playing they were playing CBA out of Syracuse so C Syracuse and then C is tough though they’ve been tough years and they’ve got CBA albony both CBA s oh they do oh I didn’t know that okay crazy enough both both of them for their respective uh classes were playing um in
The in the state semis okay so CBA Syracuse was was playing in their their semis at at the same time is is that who Bennett played or they played the albony team no they played CBA Syracuse oh they did okay so uh so so at some point like late in the first
Half a lot of issues and start start ensuing and and uh the Buffalo athletic director is goes on the field and he’s talking to the ref the head ref and it was you know and the game got like kind of delayed for I mean they minutes or something like that
Yeah like like an hour and some change yeah yeah be you know and it was like it’s interesting how how how that thing came back around this whole issue with referees when it was convenient and working in your favor nobody had any issues y now now somehow
You know I mean it’s it it seems it seems that it’s it’s it was an issue I I I found that real interesting how you know they they they had they had a lot found a lot of room to complain about the refereeing you know when it wasn’t going their
Way yeah and you know and to take the referee side you know just real quick is that people don’t understand how hard it is a referee a gay now people may say oh you just out there making calls like yeah but you got to know the
Rules and then and I think I kind of made this statement about the whole thing with Monroe and that touchdown being called not a touchdown because it it was a touchdown but they don’t have the say te same technology that they have at the college and and NFL level so
They’re not going to do instant replay to be like you know oh yeah that was a touchdown but I I think man I hear I hear you I I hear you and I’m making excuses but I gotta do it though because for conversation but like the play happened so quick
And and it’s not it’s not an you’re not making an excuse though like because that’s that’s obviously what he saw or that’s what he said he saw I don’t know we’re making assumptions by saying he made a bad he made the wrong call like the the the video I like like Bal said
Kareem said earlier I probably saw the highlights so I wasn’t at the game yeah I saw the highlight video that keeps floating around that’s cool that video that keeps floating around there’s no clear way to see whether whether his foot was on the line like or or or
Anything right so we’re all making an assumption that there there is like that that video isn’t isn’t clear you said so B all feelings of yeah I didn’t think it was was that a touchdown all feelings aside it was on a it was on a two-point
Conversion so oh okay okay but he was absolutely in he was absolutely in and if you I the same thing if you watch if you watch the video even in real time you see his foot you because you only need one foot in in high school and college right so you
Only need one foot in NFL you need two feet yeah okay and then I mean you know he had one foot down and then if you if you watched it through he had he maintained possession through the fall like he did he did you know mean yeah
That that I don’t agree that I agree with wholeheartedly I just just don’t know that the back of his foot didn’t hit the line no he I he just needed that front foot the head that was it yeah and I can’t say that it didn’t hit the line I
Can’t say that it was a touchdown either right that’s all I’m saying is it’s it’s not conclusive to me from the video what I’m what I’m saying touchdown not so so let’s let’s let’s let’s look at what was conclusive right okay the in from the
Angle that you can see um the the camera the camera Direction you see that the referee is positioned with the same visual angle as the camera okay yeah so if if if a which means he would have a better shot than the c a better line of sight than the
Camera because the camera was further away no but but here’s here’s my point though his line of sight would not have allowed him to see through that young man and and determine if the back of his foot was was out of bounds or touching the line he from what he could see the
Which is the front of that young man’s foot there’s there’s no way he he could not have seen that the front of that young man’s foot was in bounds in the end zone so okay so based upon the line of sight that that the camera angle has
That allows you to see that the the line of sight that this referee has is he he’s closer but we’re looking from the same direction so we see the young man’s foot Landing bounds in the end zone and and if if he’s saying I can’t I
Can’t call it call it uh s out of bounds based upon something I can’t definitively see which is the the possibility of his foot of the back of his foot landing on the line or out of bounds yeah so so again like we’re you were making all these assumptions that
When he saw the he saw the play before the kid you know I mean he saw the the kid fall um before he s looked at his foot right so he might not have looked at his foot at all we I mean we’re making an assumption that he looked at
His foot just because the camera saw it doesn’t mean he saw it like what I’m saying is we can’t say like what he saw there’s just no way that we could say that for him like he’s the only one on Earth that can make that that can make
That claim which is why they continue to get away with robbing our kids because job is to like if if you’re the referee in that position and you’re on the in the end zone you’re looking for things like is his foot in bounds or is a player’s foot down and in bounds
And again and maybe that’s exactly what he saw right maybe he saw us put out of bounds like so again I’m not I don’t know right that’s all I’m saying is I don’t know and there’s no way for anybody to know outside of him whether
Or not he he robbed you know them of the game or robbed him of that that two-point conversion whatever the outcome would have been after that I’m not sure right or um he did it blatantly which very well could be the case or he just didn’t see it I don’t know and I
Don’t think anybody knows like the only thing the only person that knows is that man that made that call because I I don’t know was there you were at the game you said was there a huddle afterwards for them to kind of talk through it or talk about or they just
Went with that out of my own call it went with his his yeah so that’s problem right there so I think that’s that’s the issue is that he made that call and they kept it moving instead of having the conversation about the car and it being being a group car but it is
Tough because there’s he he was the he he was n he was the inzone judge like he was you know what I mean so no somebody to overrule him and he he was the one right they would have over yeah yeah it’s always sad when it comes
Down to like a play right when it comes down to the deciding factor comes down to like a play like that you know what I mean so you know it it’s it’s it’s just it’s tough man yeah that said let you know um I they they got they they got their
Moment you know I mean in terms of you know the referees uh but man much love respect in all kudos to Terrell Cunningham and and that whole entire Monroe coaching staff and those kids over man yeah they worked they worked their tails off off seon summer and and
In season obviously in the in the in the results and the fruits man definitely definitely paid off and show you know what I mean you know with the with their work and their efforts put forth you know what I mean yeah so and yeah yeah I mean and that’s that’s where
The credit you know what I mean that’s you know that’s where the credit rightfully deserves is is all those folks man ghop man Bruce blue uh Willie given is over there man they got they got a um man you know uh Raji Eline like
You know what I mean he he he helps out tremendously in the work that they do man you know so um this is something yeah you know they got a they got an outstanding coaching staff um an outstanding you know kind of support and booster booster system the the parents
Man they they ride so hard for those kids and it’s a you know it was just a beautiful atmosphere there a beautiful atmosphere to be around and I mean I’m not you know I’m I’m saying that about Monroe because we’re talking about Monro but you know all IED this year man it’s
The same energy man you know I went to high shout out to my boy man Kenny Jackson who whose son uh zir Z2 goated uh number five man you know had an outstanding season man you know all of those young men man the the twins dear andari green uh
Uh I don’t know if y’all well I don’t know if y’all know uh soobe Riley but um Mazy his son Mazy man he he I just remember the name from when I played yeah Co man he was a he of outstanding football player his son is an outstanding football player man Ernest
Is over you know I mean they got so many talented young men over there and again if you like the sidelines is is so fun it’s a Vibe man they just be so into it you know what I mean um you know again all the mcade games I went to man the
Student section is crazy they they be out there man it was yo it was freezing and they out there shirts off beat the drums and you know what I mean they yo they they made a bunch of the the little milk cartons with the little pennies or
Whatever in it yeah passing them out for Shak just you know just the atmosphere um you know that’s what I was saying about this past year every high school and just the atmosphere was atmosphere right energy you know what I mean and that’s what section five football is all
About man so the only thing we missing now and I don’t you know at least I didn’t see it man uh was the band like I I remember like halftime shows was for the band so I mean maybe that happens and I just didn’t see it this year man
But I would love to see a band come back out again man for halftime shows or just be or just have the band have its own section you know in the stands and they could play the fight song you know they could play you know you know just songs
Man they keep keep the crowd going so I’m hoping man that the city you know can divert some of the millions of dollars that they do have that they using for other stuff they can use it to help out with uh continuing to put some more money into the music program you
Know because that’s another option too is that you can go to college for or kids can go to college man on the four ride scholarship play in the band maybe maybe maybe if a few million of those millions that was Lost Get Found You know what I mean that that can
Happen yeah they gota want it they gota want to be found a that ain’t that ain’t that from one of them exploitation movies gota want to be found but man so bros man so all right so holiday season is coming up y’all have any advice man for people who might be feeling the
Struggle feeling like man I gotta work three jobs just to make sure my kids get gifts and to make sure sure that everybody’s accounting for man what what are some strategies or things that y’all going to be doing for this holiday season in order to have some peace in
Mind take take every check from them three jobs and put it towards something that will help help you and your family up the road as opposed to on on this Christmas about about future planning yeah listen man experience well tell us so we was talking before the show be
About experiences and Ike I know this something you did with your family recently too let’s talk a little bit more about that because we we’ve many shows we’ve talked about materialism and buying things and and just really wasting money let’s just call it what it is but I think man there’s a new
Movement now to where instead of buying our kids gifts man we just take family trips and really give our kids experiences that they probably I’m not saying wouldn’t get but just provide some experiences maybe that we didn’t have you know when we were coming up I I’m all I’m all about you know
Experiences and trai Traditions you know what I mean like um one of one of my favorites is is that we do is is um we do a we do a Christmas morning brunch you know what I mean and uh you know I love it because like with Thanksgiving you know most
People most everyone I know and you know we we everyone has not only the Thanksgiving Thursday off but you got Friday off as well well with Christmas depending on where it falls you’ll get Christmas off and that’s it you know I mean that’s it you know I mean unless
You take vacation that you know you got Christmas off that’s it so because a lot of people you know will have to work the next day it’s you don’t get you don’t have the same opportunity to to to stay out as late with family um not not
Worried or not concerned about you know having to get up the next day so you know what we do is we you know everybody get together that early that morning we we uh we have brunch we you know what I mean and you know we open up gifts and whatnot and it’s it’s
Uh those Traditions those things man again you you know 30 40 50 years later you’ll remember those you know remember that that Christmas brunch where you know uh you know Dad dad fell down the stairs or something or you know that Dad made you know I mean Dad burn the the
French toast or whatever you know what I mean like just whatever it might be you know those those memories those experiences those moments last forever yeah I was watching a Christmas movie I don’t know why my mind went to this it’s the new movie with Brandy and
Some dude on there but anyway I was watching the the the movie and the little kid was at it was breakfast time and there’s a family that’s there they got snowed in so they’re staying with this lady and they have some history with the the husband and the wife or
Whatever but the little girl she was eating her breakfast and she looked up and she said last night I heard some furniture banging around and they was like yeah you know we just moving some furniture and I was like man that’s a good one right there moving furniture
So I don’t know why when you said that about Dad burning the toast and all this other stuff the memory is man we heard y’all was moving furniture I yeah I don’t know how you how you made that connection but you know I don’t know hey Brandy Brandy want to move some [Laughter]
Furniture that brother up help about nah so my kids came in and said Daddy I thought you was moving furniture I just respond no me and your mommy were h a great time [Laughter] I think I hit the button at the right spot I don’t know yeah you did I think
So I think I think you did Moses Elder Moses what’s going on brother man yo this man said moving furniture now so so back to the whole gift giving thing man I don’t I don’t think giving gifts is a bad thing right I just to do it right I I’m not I’m not
A huge fan of of giving gifts just because like everything is so freaking commercialized and you already know how I feel about that man um so that’s one of the things that just kind of turns me off to to really giving gifts during the
Season but I say that and I know that um there’s people out there that love my kids right and they want to show that their gratitude to them so they’ll buy them get they’ll buy them toys they’ll buy them whatever you want right I just
I just don’t want it to be too much right where the expectation becomes like the expectation becomes that that’s what this time of year is all about yeah like or the expectation is this person loves me more because they give me more gifts and more presents and that happens a lot
Yeah I I think along with the whole giftgiving experience man it has to be explained on why you’re actually receiving this or um you know why someone is actually giving you this not just because it’s an expectation of the season and I think over time that’s really what it becomes that’s what it
Started to become for me like I was buying a gift for everybody in my family like this is when I’m in college Kareem you know how we was living in college man yeah I know how we was living get back and for and Koolaid or hot dogs and Koolaid
Is right right hot dogs was considered considered meat back then pause but um sh wasn’t here so I had to throw all right Shane not here we good but um but yeah so um but but yeah I just I just think there really has to be an expectation behind it like right now
It’s just all about the time that you have the chance um the time that you have to spend with family sitting around making jokes smiling laughing you know listening to music having a good conversation and then you know outside of that is taking those dollars that I
Didn’t just go and spend on you know that thousand do I didn’t just go and spend on gifts that are going to either be broken or gone before the end of the year and really just like turn that into an experience so um that’s that’s just
Really how I feel about it that’s where I am with it yo I like what I see here in the chat yeah feeling that yeah yo Jay J Dr J what’s good bro yeah uh I I’m feeling that one one need uh one want one need one read I’m feeling
That yeah um so that that we do um with our kids as well is is they have to like give some toys away like you you know what I mean you gotta give something away so uh you know what I mean my my wife and uh Bryson had
A conversation so um all of so this year all of anything Paw Patrol related it is it goes away and I mean they he he was big on PAW Patrol so he’s got like the the it’s like a big old bus Paw Patrol bus he’s got the PAW Patrol plane he’s
Got the PAW Patrol Tower he’s got you know I mean I mean he’s got some somebody’s Christmas is gonna be made yo the music for Paw Patrol is tough though I I a gonna hold you yeah I just know chase is on the case man chase is on the case [Laughter]
Double J R we got Sky what’s the other one I don’t forgot I of forgot but I like that man I you know I think we need to ask our question ask ourselves the question is what is the holiday season really about right so I said it before I’ll say it again it’s
About the greatest gift that this world could ever have and that’s Christ in addition to that that’s a period period holiday season also is a time to reflect it’s a time for us to think about all the things that we are blessed to have there’s also blessings in not
Having things right like for me it’s a blessing not having a a heart aneurysm you know what I’m like that’s a blessing to me not having that you know it’s a blessing to have a healthy heart man so like I you know one of the things I like to
Do is I’ll just kind of sit and I’ll just think about like all the things that have happened throughout the year all the blessings all the things that seemed like failures or setbacks and just really looking at that from a perspective of like yo man the Lord
Really kept me from something man I could have you know gone down a path but he blocked it yeah you know what I mean so that’s uh yeah got to get those cardiograms man it’s important get them Echoes got to do that especially for us men we we think it’s
Sweet yeah especially especially if especially if you moving furniture you don’t want that that that yeah man right about that you don’t want that color purple testimony n man the doctor said man I had to wait a whole month so yeah blessings bro blessings brother
V always G to have a good report but yeah man doctor’s like yeah you gotta chill I was like all right bet but my wife is the one that actually asked though so he watching right now too to risk it off it wasn’t me though it wasn’t me though no risk it no
Biscuit it was funny how he kind of answered it too though he was like yeah know activities check it out so check it out check it out yeah you know Sis Sis it’s for the love of the show for the love of the show right so I went to see Kareem like like
A few for like the first few days he got home I went go I went to go buy a check on him right so Kareem tells me the story and and you know and Brandy wasn’t home and so when she when she got home I was like sis really and she must have
Known right away like she got and Brandy got bright red because because truth be told the question wasn’t asked of the doctor by Kareem I’m leave it there she want to make sure husband was healthy man she want to make sure he was healthy yeah she was trying to make she
Can’t kill you [Laughter] hey man hey no hns for me I’m good everything worked yo the holidays came side came I’m glad I came on the side too man thank you very much thank you very much I’m not talking about the surgery oh yeah ah she said what is happening I
Know she about to log off all right it’s a show she about to go upstairs and hit the power button Kare was talking about furniture moving he he could fill in the blanks from there he can fill in the blanks there k k said he wanted to move some
Furniture or something I don’t know like I don’t know just no no youha no U-Haul yeah right right no security deposit either all right so we got [Laughter] ah that was funny all right I lost my train of thought so uh no but but um kind of just you know
Along those lines man you know as you were saying kind of just making sure we we we take the time to kind of reflect and all those things man one of the things that I I do um every every time every time this every time around this
Year um this time of year is I recalibrate man I I I start to really um identify and develop some some some goals for for the upcoming year and specific very strategic goals um and it’s in their their you know spiritual goals you know professional goals personal goals family
Goals and I and I I really get that Nuance with him and I and I because I I want to make sure that um I’m intentional about the the the things I’m doing to to go to the next place spiritually professionally personally as a husband as a father
Those things you know I mean are are are you know critically significantly important to me so I so I make sure I I use this time of year to you know what I mean to identify those things so that way I can start to work work towards those things
And go not just wait for the next year to get here to start working on those things start to move in that direction momentum going into the next year so by the time we’re in the next year I’m already you know moving in the direction of of my goals that’s the thing about
Trent that’s the thing so b y you beat me to the punch bro so I have this here man this is like absolutely absolutely uh bro I write I definitely write him down I still I still have a uh I still have somewhere um the the the first year
I did it was uh 2007 going into 2008 and I’ll never forget one of my one of my one of the first goals I wrote down was I said I wanted to to make it to to church two Sundays out of the month now again if y’all if y’all know me at the
Time that was like that was uh uh you know what I mean that was a goal that was a big goal um but just just from that goal but he’ll see it through oh yeah yeah that goal I didn’t miss a Sunday I didn’t miss a Bible study you
Know what I mean it it you know it was having those goals man those goals were transformative for me so every year yeah I write down those goals yeah and I gotta work on with my kids too getting them to write down their goals as well and putting it in a
Place where you know they can see it I do talk with them about goal setting and some of the things they want to do want to do so like my son you know he wanted to get better at football so that’s what we did throughout the year Is We I
Bought him some cones I bought him uh a parachute or a running shoot or whatever got him some footballs and we just get out there we just throw the ball around really we was just back there talking and throw the ball around you know and just building like relationship on that
In but yeah you know I think about like my my son and AC even academically you know we’ve set goals for him you know for that along with his teachers and and you know with the folks that are working with us and same with my daughter you know even with her playing basketball
You know just being like physical and just learning the game you know wanting to love the game first so we’re working on that but even academically writing those things down but the one thing I do want to talk to my kids about is like just what are some things they want to
Do like what do you want to do so my daughter for example she wants to travel the girl got the traveling bugs she wants to travel and she’s like Dad so we’re going to California right I was like yeah we’re going to California at some point and I love that I love that
She wants to get outside of Rochester look and they’ve been asking us like so when we moving again you know so you know they they they have gotten used to now having that type of experience and the first time they got it really was when they went to Memphis Tennessee that
Was the first time and since then my daughter’s been asking to go places they took a plane everything so it was a good time let me say this the other thing that’s pretty cool about it too and kind of maybe one of the dots that you can connect for too is because she’s
Passionate about basketball man you know football and Alpha have taken me places that I I never thought I would you know get to be or experience it you know between football Alpha and Ministry you know what I mean like it’s open doors that I you know
That I never I never would have imagined so you know basketball can be a vehicle to allow her to you know means you know she wants to travel watch I told her that watch how basketball becomes a conduit and not not to say that you you
Know I mean y’all won’t travel as a family or you know you can’t you know travel as a family but like watch how how God will will allow you know I mean the gift and the passion she has for basketball to be a conduit to facilitate
You know what I mean other desires that that she has you know what I mean when I told her she can travel with basketball you should have seen her fa her eyes lit up she was like really so I can play out of town I was like
Yeah I said but you gotta work on it though you gotta work on it my my wife might feel some type of way when I say this but hey and hey bro Vince man you know you know I love you bro do not say Memphis is not don’t do it Memphis nice
But you know beautiful like it’s got some beautiful Parts like you know I mean I’ve been the I’ve been to all the parts of Memphis you know I mean me too I’m G just say this South Memphis yo mhis part of part of Memphis is the
Block though for real part of I have to say like that’s not one of the spots that’s on my to- Go list you know I mean so wow I mean I never I’ve never been there you got you gota see take family there hold on hold on

Bill Street we took the kids there so that that was cool man I want to go to places like Utah and Denver I want to go to Montana I want to go to just different you know places that you don’t always hear people talk about like those are the places
Idaho yeah Idaho yeah Nebraska I’ve been to Iowa well well on the edge of Iowa I don’t want to go there I don’t wna go there yo Omaha is man I do want to go to I do want to go to Australia though man yeah they got them big black spiders
Too yeah yeah I mean there’s place there’s things everywhere that can kill you right yeah you’re right never never never really n Australia was never on my list though but it’s not I’m sure it’s not on many people’s but yeah that’s just one of the places I wantan to you should go
Bro you should go um you know so so we’re getting ready to go on a cruise right um in February or so y’all got y’all G y’all gonna have another baby y so already know I can’t kids man I I don’t know why y keep bringing that up
Like who baby is this yo why y why y’all kept showing us them videos of them couples with talking about who’s talking about that’s not your baby listen this definitely not my baby I can I can say that that baby look like I’m 99.9% sure that it’s not my good right
Before the tests even come out but uh but we getting ready to go on a cruise right so if I’m gonna go to Australia I can’t do it with a family of six because just to go on this cruise is is about to be like I’m glad you didn’t buy those gifts for
Christmas you would have been in trouble right so but but yeah just I mean having having such a big family right cost that’s just Transportation alone like a flight um we porting out of Miami I mean the flights alone are going to be more than the the cruise cost right you know
And then you got to talk about hotel you got to talk about transportation for six people like two in from the ports like the the costs just add up so quickly so it’s just kind of tough to plan multiple trips right and multiple big trips like
That but our goal is to do a lot of smaller trips that we can utilize this um expensive vehicle we just purchased I ain’t gonna throw the number out there but um so you we can drive huh you bought something expensive no it’s a it’s a car man I mean there’s there’s no
Cheap cars out well you gotta yeah you’re right yeah you gota you gotta have the vehicle to get around so yeah so we we got a you about to say you got RV oh no we got a we got a Honda Odyssey fly bro is dope yeah listen they are fly yeah
That’s what I’m saying but I’m I’m just saying the cost of that right so that’s the cost of trans So the plan is to go on a lot of smaller trips where we can just kind of you know but just see different things right so we drove drove
It down to Georgia already you know went to go um visit um some family down there U we going to hit the East Coast but I don’t know maybe we might take it Midwest you know as well too and you know hit a couple places there uh PA is
Trip to check out uh but then we’ll do like the the one one or two big trips you know throughout the year as well too so go to I I can’t I can’t make it to Australia in a minivan so Hey listen man you might better get
That car to float get your hcraft or something it’s not it’s not that nice man it’s not that nice all right man so well we getting down to it you know I know uh we just getting off the holidays and uh there’s some green beans calling me right now and pound cake
