Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha and we’ve been established for 115 years and the founders of the organization, I would think across the divine nine organizations, these were students and classical students in liberal arts, education Nation were studying Greek and Latin. And so they adopt and the terminology and the words from
Greek has nothing to do with Greek gods. And so I think there’s a misinterpretation if you don’t understand our history, that these were young people studying classical education, and they were very be a liberal arts education is very rooted in Greek and Latin scholar. One else? Other than God? Well, when you and I know you’re Christian. Yeah. So when you hear the word rituals, it just sounds spooky. Key, right? Yeah, but the rituals have nothing to do with seances and chants and bells, and it has nothing to do with that. That’s just the word

Our servitude for our communities, for our brothers and sisters, and specifically, historically within the black community, how we support it and the fraternities and sororities have given organization for that. The sorority or fraternity. And so I see it as complementary to my Christian journey. And if we look at Jesus and his model, he’s a servant leader. And so we talk about servant leadership in our organizations, how we are serving the community, how we are uplifting children in particular, and families. We do
Share commonalities across the Divine Nine in our purposes and our outreach, and we collaborate with each other. And so I you know, I struggle when I see these denouncements. And again, social media has such impact on our lives. So 20, 30 years ago, people might have done this privately. You just didn’t see
