My friends and today is the feast day of St Ambrose and I love St Ambrose you know he was the the teacher of Augustine and um I read this incredible meditation um about him this morning and I just love that guy I remember learning about him back in in seminary
And what a what an incredible witness that all these years later we’re still talking about this guy I mean this guy’s like fourth Century so pretty amazing pretty amazing and then of course tomorrow my friends we have the Immaculate Conception uh and we are going to be praying from the parking lot
Of the church tomorrow because I’m going to mass right after so um we will be I think normal time should be good but uh we’ll be praying from the parking lot probably pretty quickly and uh heading to mass so don’t forget tomorrow is a holy day of obligation so you got

Would think I’m led by the spirit into just great things right but sometimes the spirit leads us into difficult situations that we might be uh perfected and tried not that Christ needed to be perfected but friends we see in his temptation an inspiration for for ourselves for when we’re tempted we know

Out Lord Lord will enter into my kingdom but only those who do the will of my father and then he talks about the difference between those who build their lives upon his words and those who don’t and the bottom line is this my friends The Words of Christ the proclamation of
The Kingdom has to be something that converts us and when you’re converted by that there will be a difference there will be a change and if you think that you have achieved something great because you know what Jesus has said but it hasn’t impacted your life you haven’t
Been converted by it then friends you haven’t gotten anywhere it’s about letting the Lord transform you and that transformation will certainly be the the best witness you can imagine there’s too many people out there who think their witness is all about just telling everybody what to do or telling
Everybody why they’re wrong friends if your life isn’t showing the the Fruit of the Spirit and the manifestation of a conversion then you’re better off just to stay quiet because what Christ is saying is look it’s not enough just to say stuff you have to show the converted
