Because it’s all about hope it’s about looking forward to what God is doing now of course we are also looking back at what he’s already done and that’s the beautiful thing about our faith my friends it’s it’s it’s it’s it’s about what he’s done and it’s about what he’s
Doing and it’s about what he will do the Ascension of the Lord my friends is about all of those things Christ has given the church its Mission and he’s ascending to heaven to make intercession at the father’s right hand and yet he’s also promising to come and return to

Always happen immediately the apostles had to wait a while right and and they didn’t quit they didn’t give up they didn’t scatter now they didn’t know how many days they were going to have to wait they didn’t know that but yet they still remained United together and with

Mystery is the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary the spiritual fruit of this mystery is the desire for heaven we must imitate our lady’s behavior of course but we also must imitate her desire which would be fulfilled at the end of her Earthly life as she’s assumed up
Into heaven to be taken to the place that the Lord has prepared for her my friends don’t you want to have that desire well can you imagine a life where you got everything you want think about that some of you are like that doesn’t sound very Catholic well it sure does if
What you want is Christ if what you want is Holiness and righteousness and Purity that’s the life he wants to give us my friends he’s come that we might have life and have it abundantly and we will receive all of that according to our strongest desires if they are found in
Him and the Blessed Virgin shows us what that looks like my friends her assumption into heaven is an incredibly glorious mystery it’s the victory of God in her life and in her I know some people don’t like to say death dorm Mission whatever you want to call it the end of her
Earthly life it’s his victory in her through this my friends what is his victory in you going to look like will you be given the strongest desire of your heart you know you probably will if it’s Jesus you’ll be carried into heaven one way or another and if it’s self and the world
You know well you’ll receive that too maybe not in the way you want but ultimately in terms of separation from God because make no mistake about it when you desire to sin when you desire to turn away from the Lord that’s really what you’re Desiring is separation from
Him and that’s what an eternity apart from him will look like I pray we don’t desire that my friends I don’t want that I hope you don’t want it either I don’t think that you do that’s why you’re here praying the rosary with me my friends let’s pray together Our Father who art

The spiritual fruit of this mystery is the grace of final perseverance we need to persevere our whole lives my friends we can’t give up we can’t quit just like a a a runner doesn’t he could be aead the whole race if he stops before the end what does he gain right
You you have to make it all the way you can live your whole life for the Lord but at the end you fall away you say I don’t want Jesus anymore I’m turning my back on him friends what will that accomplish we need to persevere un the
End and that happens because of the grace of final perseverance not because of your amazing willpower or your incredible intellect or your incredible ability to argue with people or whatever it is that you think about it’s God’s grace and our cooperation with that my friends through the intercession of the
One through whom all Grace comes to us the Blessed Virgin Mary the Queen of Heaven and Earth friends she is crowned in heaven we see this in Revelation 12 and as we meditate on this mystery friends let us take heart in what she has done and who she is and what God has
