The Blood Swords are a Successor Chapter of the Blood Angels. Such a bond would be threated with the mysterious events surrounding the Blood Sword banishment from Jaggafall. Undertaking a Penitent Crusade to redeem themselves in the eyes of the Master of Mankind, the Blood Swords would once more be supported by the Star Dragons in their quest for redemption.
Renewing their bond of fraternity with no talk of debts nor honour, the two Astartes factions transcended the bonds of Brotherhood typical of even blood-related Chapters.
