Yes indeed it is no secret that today January 5th 2024 is a day that we celebrate what is called J5 it is a day where we honor our Founders for the founding and incorporation of Kaa Alphas Fraternity Incorporated which is the greatest fraternity on Earth and uh we
Celebrate 113 years this year and so today I want to share with you on behalf of Corey Barber and barar companies some of the greatest lessons that I learned as a result of being a member and a brother of the greatest Fraternity in the world over the last 23 to 24 years
And so one of the biggest lessons that I learned and one of the greatest things that I got from my fraternity is community now Community is critical because in business Community allows you to see up and down what do I mean by that one it allows you to sit down to
See what clients you need to serve what their needs are and how to forecast that need but in addition to that if you have the right Community you have the ability to see up where you see people in businesses that are doing things that you’re currently not doing at a level
That you’re not doing it at and as a result you have access where you can ask questions where you can get expertise where you can get information and strategy and as a result of that it gives you speed it lessens your learning curve it reduces your expenses because
There’s some experiences that you don’t have to experience where other people have already lost the money for you and have the ability to give you the experience where you don’t have to take the lumps and so one of the things I want to encourage my entrepreneurs and
My small businesses to do is to take advantage of community specifically speaking coaches and Consultants there is no field that we operate in excellence whether it be Sports whether it be education all of these things where you don’t have someone in place that has the blueprint to how you get
From here to here I myself was a student athlete in college we had multiple coaches that allowed us to be able to see our shortcuts and the things that we needed to work on and also see the overall picture as a student you had teachers leading and guiding you and so
In business you do not have to learn on your own but all too often we do and so on behalf of barar companies with those entrepreneurs and those small businesses that are looking at accessing Capital to grow scale and sustain their business anywhere from 100,000 to 15 million this
Is the year where I want to encourage you to seek help to seek counsel not to seek counsel from people below you that haven’t ever borrowed any money haven’t built or scaled their business but seek counsel from people who have lent money who have actually borrowed millions of
Dollars I myself have been in this field for over two decades have had the opportunity to help hundreds and thousands of companies be able to access Capital to be able to grow scale and sustain their business and so again the biggest lesson I learned from being a beautiful brother
