Time to uh U tell us about ice train ah man so I was uh in between clients today and uh my phone was just buzzing um because a lot of people know that uh me and Ice train were really close and uh great friends and we started talking probably
2019 around there and it was just a weekly he was on PMP um yes pancakes power slams yep and so um and so every week I would have a wrestler and I would you know contact people and things like that and so I contacted him and I had him on my show
With PN news and uh man just I mean since 2019 we I mean from the very first time that we started talking to each other we we hit it off I mean just like that became super close we we’re texting each other a lot uh last time I talked
To him was his birthday a couple months ago in November and uh yeah I mean like he would always we were Facebook friends and I would post Fitness picks a lot he was super supportive he would text me see how I’m doing I was Tex him see how
He’s doing and there will be times where a lot of this show the the the whole idea of unscripted that came from sport uh Sports ke uh reu being a big fan of uh my uh show pancakes and power slams and on PMP every single week I would
Have an interview uh I would have a wrestler interview and reu really lik that he said man you want to just you want to bring that over a sports K and we pay you for scop yes that’s right and uh he said man would you would you be
Interested in in bringing that over to um to sports K and I said sure absolutely so I took every every half hour in the beginning of my show I would interview a different person and so uh there would be a lot of times every single week you know being a doctor and
And and doing a whole bunch of other stuff my schedule it would be super difficult uh finding a new wrestler every single week and uh ICE train would be one of those people that when someone would on the 11th Hour cancel on me he did be available make himself available
I like train great guy yeah I like train uh gotta gotta find somebody he said man I got this person for you I got this person for you and so yeah he actually got me hooked to uh he he actually got me linked to DDP I mean DDP and I became
Pretty cool yeah yeah and so yeah so I mean you know he was so available so supportive he would he was I I’ve in the TW 13 14 years I’ve been uh you has been 14 years now that I’ve been a journalist and I’ve developed a lot of relationships with pro wrestlers good
Relationships tyght relationships people who are currently in WWE currently in aw really really good relationships and out of all of those relationships that I formed with wrestlers undoubtedly I Trin was 100% without question one of the closest pro wrestling relationships that I’ve that’s great I’m sorry for for the lost to the
Wrestling world and all his family and his uh friends and you know back in the back in the hot days WCW uh uh ICE train was hot yeah yeah and anytime I needed an interview or photos for the magazine he was always willing to yeah to do that he was always I’m

Keto what caused me to become such a big wrestling fan I became such a big wrestling fan because of my late great grandma and uh she was in her 60s and 70s uh I was I was blessed to experience about 14 about 14 years with her and uh
All in my upbringing she was the biggest pro wrestling fan she had a recliner behind me at a floor model TV my brother and I brother just a year younger than me we will sit in front of her and she like PR pro wrestling was so real to her
She was aing she had a cane and she would just yell at the TV and she would throw the cane at the TV and it was it was so riveting and so like kayf was so amazing at the time time and so in the different era different time oh yeah
Yeah so in the mid 80s uh that that’s when I was able to uh see HW Mania so where did you see where did you see that match I saw I saw it in front of my uh in front of my uh great gmma and uh floor model TV brother in a pay-per-view
Uh I saw it somehow because it was closed circuit uh around that time yeah it was closed circuit that’s right there was no pay-per-view yeah no pay-per-view wow so was she a hulkamaniac she was she was a big Hulk Hogan fan yeah she loved the
Baby faces she hated the heels it was so riveting and real to her like she hated the heels the really good heels she would throw her cane to the T we didn’t question it back then correct you didn’t question it you know if your friends
Told you it was fake it was like oh really you want to see how fake it is put headlock and squeeze a right yeah I wanted to wish all all the hulkamaniacs out there and I’m going to wear this for the whole show I I did this on time machine as

He loves said he’s now going to help bring this part of of uh TKO group WWE into even a higher and higher realm because he loves he loves it they couldn’t have made a better choice than he when you heard this noise this this noise this positive noise about this
Happening what did you think Dr Chris I thought it was a fantastic move I mean if there’s anybody that you know would be a part of the board of directors for TKO uh for the you know well he’s a part of the board of directors for all of it
For those who don’t know Endeavor the the the the big company the umbrella company TKO was the the merger of WWE and UFC uh well well not it’s the the kind of joint you know operation yeah yeah of WWE and USC and that’s TKO and The Rock being on the board of directors
I mean you’re you’re talking about some I’ve been on a board before and you know there’s a lot of insight when you have board meetings and things like that a ton of insight and it’s great to have insight for someone who’s really really good um as far as just you
Know this is how this is Direction it should go I don’t think this you know uh direction is really good and and I think those things are really really important when they have the board meetings because you have someone who’s one of the biggest stars ever of WWE giving really really good

Get Netflix that don’t get peacock so they have to get these now both of them uh especially Netflix can be expensive and I understand they’re coming out with a like a $6.99 platform form where you’ll get commercials with it so raw being on that with commercials and the first real live
Sports sports entertainment thing to ever be on Netflix happens with raw now this to me is amazing because you remember when regular TV kind of went away and wrestling started coming out on cable right the superstation every USA Network so now the next step in proliferation and
Change extreme change of TV with TV wrestling kicking it off is going to be this NE Netflix platform because I have a feeling it’s not going to stop with WWE what do you think yeah so right now we scheduled to uh go in effect January 2025 and um I think it’s fantastic I
Think it’s a great business deal and the wave of of entertainment uh viewership is going via streaming and that’s been for at least five years now so I mean uh streaming is the way to go and so you know cable television is starting to become a p a you know it’s starting to

Over to Netflix yeah I don’t know how programming yeah and yet yet I understand that that that hasn’t been written for uh for SmackDown just yet yeah I saw that um even like um like the shows and and everything um so we’ll see we’ll peacock will
Retain the uh the what we used to call the pay-per-views the pr P yeah um whatever I mean whatever that is because I’ve I’ve seen a couple reports and I think that uh if it’s just simply raw um I think it’s a good idea too if it’s everything WWE which I think

About it I mean it’s you know Al Snow’s company El Snow’s Ohio Valley when they did the uh that reality show was kind of like the teaser the kickoff to these guys looking at you know this wrestling thing is maybe there’s something to this yeah I mean and it’s and it makes sense
I mean streaming is the way to go and if you want to grab you know uh a sport so to speak for streaming because peacock’s uh PE peacock has um football a live live football yeah and so you know that’s that’s their way of really catching that live sports wave uh Amazon
Also has live football uh pro football so I think you know Netflix from a live sport perspective is a bit behind the curve so it makes sense for them streaming wise to catch up with the current you know other reputable streaming sites Hulu you know and and and and um
Amazon and and Paramount yeah Paramount and you know um uh the the uh the Amazon Prime Hulu Paramount and uh uh peacock streaming sites live sports Netflix is kind of sitting out there like well we gotta we we gotta catch up now keep in mind keep in mind here WWE maintains the
Premium live events on peacock yeah peacock is owned by NBC sure NBC also owns USA so if Smackdown stays on there WWE that company the parent company has got such a sweet deal because they’re they’re married with the whole NBC Universal package and Netflix I mean
