Fathered Methuselah Enoch walked with God after he fathered Methuselah 300 years and had other Sons and Daughters thus the days of Enoch with 365 years Enoch walked with God and and he was not for God took him then we want to go to the book of Hebrews the 11th chapter and

The prayer is that we will all move in unison so that when God moves we move what just like that I hope that every day we show up to practice our faith keep on praying practice your faith reading your word practice your faith coming to church practice your faith
Coming to Bible study practice your faith working on your gifts and your ministry every day practicing your faith so that when we go out to serve the people we look wholeheartedly in line and on one Accord saints of God and Enoch are you ready to stroll with God today we want to engage
In the Bible with a man by the name of Enoch quite frankly because this is Enoch Baptist Church Enoch took a stroll with God and he walked with God he walked with God and stroll with God so tightly that the Bible tells us that he did not even see death he walked with
God so long one day God just simply said in the words of my granddaddy bishop and he said since you are a little closer to my house than you are to your house come on in and dwell in the house of the Lord forever Enoch is said to have a walk
With God and so the story of Enoch is told in just nine verses in the entire Bible those verses are found in the Book of Genesis in the book of Hebrews and Jude in fact Genesis which provides for us the most information about Enoch in the entire Bible describes his life in
48 simple words but he is Unforgettable you don’t have to talk along time if every word you say means something and is heavy in 48 words he’s Unforgettable and today we sit under the banner Enoch Baptist Church where love grows help me somebody ultimately Enoch was the first man
Documented to have walked with God and his walk made him worthy of the rewards that can only come from God his rewards were not temporal they were Eternal his rewards never ran out they just kept on going and going and going and going do I have anybody in the building today that
Knows that there are some rewards that come when you walk with God and my grandma used to sing a song that said that you can’t beat God’s giving no matter how hard what you try and church I want to come and tell you today that Enoch walked with God and God gave him
Something that his spouse could not give him God gave him something that his parents could not give him God gave him something that his children could not give him I came to tell you today that your job can pay you your spouse can care for you your parents can even spoil
You but you still will never beat what God can give you no matter how hard you try so if I can have an aim to pierce our hearts on today my aim for today is to encourage us to walk in unity walk together and most importantly walk with
God to get all of the rewards that God has for you and for me I don’t know about you but I want everything that God has for me do I have a witness in here that’s like I don’t want part of what God has for me I don’t
Want what my boo has for me I want everything that that that God has for me but how saints of God can we walk with God in such a way that we’ll be worthy of God’s rewards yeah yeah yeah yeah you see you have to interrogate the text in order to
Get the answers how can we walk with God in such a way that we will be worthy of God’s reward these scriptures tell us three quick things and then we going to head on over and party with the men for their Super Bowl shinig we with
It if we’re going to walk with God in such a way that’s worthy of God’s rewards number one we must be willing to change directions with God woo good God Almighty we have to be willing to change directions with God for 65 years the text tells us that Enoch was
Obedient to God’s plans but he had not started walking with God yet the Book of Genesis and fifth chapter gives us six Generations before Enoch and every last one of them from Adam to Seth to Enoch to Kenan to Mahalia to Jared all did the exact same thing they ascribed to have
Lived for a little while had their first son they lived some more had some sons and daughters while they lived and then after all of that they died when we come down to Enoch Enoch came along and he did the exact same thing he lived for 65
Years he fathered his his first son Methuselah he lived another 300 on Earth and during that time just like everybody else he had sons and daughters and there was absolutely nothing wrong with what he was doing because he was being obedient to God come on the instructions
From God from Adam was to what be fruitful and multiply everybody was obedient to what God had said Adam was fruitful and multiplied because God said so Seth was fruitful and multiplied cuz God said so Enos was fruitful and multiplied cuz God said so Kenan Melia and Jared were all
Fruitful and multiplied because God said so but there was one difference between Enoch and the generations before him and after him Enoch made a slight change of Direction and the Bible says something about him that it did not say about any other generation in Genesis 5 and that
Is he walked with God on he not didn’t just obey God he walked with God and can I challenge you saints of God to not just obey God but walk with God cuz when you walk with God and commune with God and get rid of the distraction so you
Can focus on God is there a witness that know that God will tell you to change direction and sometimes do something that makes absolutely no sense to you I came to help somebody today who probably got the wrong kind of friends I came to tell you that if you hear something that makes
Sense to you it probably did not come from God y’all ain’t walking with me this morning the reason why it makes sense to you is because it does not qu require any Fai but do I have anybody in here that been obedient to God and has
Had to make a shift in your direction and know that sometimes God will tell you something that makes no sense so that you will have to live by faith and not by sight and you have anybody here that can thank God that when God giv you
Something it requires you to lean on God get rid of around you get rid of some distractions and tell God God if you lead I’ll follow God tell St don’t make no sense yeah yeah God never told Abraham baby if you go if you now God never told Abraham
Baby I’ll tell you and then you go no no he said Abraham if you get up and go then I’ll tell you and I came to shout somebody and help somebody at the same time God is saying the same thing to you God is saying I’m not going to tell you
I need you to get up and start moving and when you start moving I’m going to show you to a promised man that’s how you move my [Applause] fa gave him Blessings that nobody else receive in the Bible how do you know there are at least two blessings that we see him getting nobody else got he had methusa meusa is the oldest living documented seed that anybody had in scripture come on not only that saints of God
We know that the second one is he walk with God and never experience death that’s right I don’t know why we don’t know when the show is there anybody that can get Hallelujah happy that when you walk with God our God give you the blessings that will last longer than
Anybody expected don’t you know that when you walk with God the things you do for Christ will last is there anybody in here that’s actually moved beyond the regular move beyond the status quo did more than anybody around you and watch God do more with your life than you
Imagine because you took the time to walk with God let me help encourage somebody and prophesy to you too and tell you that there is no secret what God can do what he’s done for eloch he also will do for you if we’re going to
Walk with God in a way that’s worthy of God’s reward we got to be willing to make some [Applause] changes where God has taking us the regular and the ordinary will not work on the next level you going to have to do like E when nobody else wants to change directions you’re going to have to do something that nobody else around you was willing to
Do go into the neighborhoods nobody else is willing to go into help the kids that nobody else wants to think about that kid that looks like he’s got it going on but it’s hell going on behind the closed doors of that big beautiful house yes are you willing
To risk your reputation if you know church member Church title chur is in trouble and help them out you got to be willing to change direction if you going to walk in away to receive the rewards of God but also if you’re going to receive the rewards of
God you must walk so that you would desire to please God uh-huh number two you have to desire to please God Enoch didn’t just change directions with God the Bible tells us that he also pleased God the faith Hall of Fame in the 11th chapter of Hebrews tells us
That Enoch pleas God the text says by faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death and was not found because God God had taken him come on for before he was taken he had the testimony that he pleased God I don’t know about you but I spent
Too much time in my life trying to please folk and not most of the time every time it bit me in the behind when I tried to please my own spouse it bit me in the behind when I tried to please my children it bit me in the behind when I
Even Tred to please my pastor it bit me in the behind but when I started saying I have to please God they may be mad for a little while but after God finish doing what God is going to do they going to realize why I tried to
Please God over them soon and by by Hallelujah somebody yes he had the testimony that he pleased God and that excites me that excites me because the miracle is not the fact that he bypassed that no no no see we got to messed up that’s not the miracle
The miracle is that he pleased God all right why is that a miracle preacher because we never read anywhere that Enoch was a perfect man we never read anywhere he was a sinless man nothing ever told us he was extraordinary in any way form or fashion as a matter of fact
His life looked like it was on the same pattern as everybody else before him and after him until God changed his directions and he started walking with God therefore what this tells us is that you don’t have to be extraordinary Rich famous exceptional astonishing or astounding in order to please
God the answer is simple all we have to do to please God is have faith in God because the Bible says that without faith it is impossible to please God faith is still the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of Things Not Seen therefore if you can see it you’re
Not operating in faith but you got to act like it’s going on even when you don’t see God working when you don’t see God working you still move and act just like you know God is working you move like the old Saints said you got a feeling that everything
Is going to be all right Faith gives you courage uh-huh courage is not the absence of fear courage literally means that you are shaken in your boots y’all better stop listening to them over sanctified people God didn’t give you the spirit up there shut up acting like your Humanity
A never had you scared of something no God didn’t give me the spirit of GI my Humanity did but what faith did was caus a miracle that when I did not want to go because I was scared somehow I showed up and gave it my best anyway somebody

Issue of Enoch witnessing for God and the Bible says he prophesy so y’all better watch these false prophets promising y’all houses and Clos cars and cute and cudly colleagues and a beautiful couple no sometimes prophecy comes with a judgment yeah God loves you too much to let you
Keep going in the same direction when it’s the wrong direction God will send a true Prophet to give you judgment and tell you to change thus says the Lord and if you don’t change judgment will come God used Enoch as a prophet as a testifier of things to come and the
Question question that I have for you today is are we willing to be a witness for the Lord on a bold witness is able to not blow with the wind a bold witness will stand in opposition and still say what thus says the Lord a bold witness doesn’t speak
From their own wisdom ahh a bold witness speaks from God’s wisdom yeah so so if you don’t come to Bible study and you don’t even know what God said don’t be telling nobody God told you Something yeah see see see in my last Church yeah yeah my last church I I I stopped them folk from even coming to church me yeah I said deep stop letting Tigers come to church me only let folk that come to Bible study come to church meetings because

God said it shall come to pass is there a witness in here that still believes that even the youths grow tired and weary and young men shall utterly fall but they that wait upon the Lord they shall reew their strength they shall Mount up with wings like eagles they
Shall run and not be we they shall run and not f is there a bold witness that believes in God said it shall come to pass will somebody say and we know that all things work together for the good of them who love God and a called according to his purpose can I
