It’s not pleasing to God so um a little bit more about my background so I grew up in an African church and the first time I ever heard about Greek life or sororities and fraternity was actually in church and they just told you stay away from it it’s not of God but you
Know you’re young and a lot of times you want to experience things for yourself to make that decision right and they never really talked about why or how it wasn’t of God so fast forward I go to college I transferred to a new school at
The time the person I was dating he was um going through the proc process when we first got together he was going through the process and I did try to tell him like maybe you shouldn’t do this this isn’t of God and he was like no we do all these different things you
Know he made a decision to go through and because of him I became um very exposed to Greek life right like I knew a lot of the people I was seeing what they were doing in the community and it felt like something I wanted to do
Because I was a woman of service I was in the military I was serving in church like I was a part of so many different organizations on campus and this just felt like one more thing I could do to make a difference differ so that’s why I
Ended up joining the first day the first day induction I walk into that dark room immediately my heart drops and I’m like what is this I’m like what are we doing this don’t feel right but you know go through with it afterwards my um former
L sisters I brought it up to them and I’m like y’all that did not feel right that did not sit right with my spirit like what did y’all think they were like oh yeah I was a little weird but deep so I started to reach out to you know
Different people and I’m like this doesn’t feel right and most of the people that I’m reaching out with were Greek and Christian so I wanted to get their perspective of what the experience was for them or like how they overcame it or you know just hear them out and
Everyone that I talked to was pretty much telling me it’s not that deep like you know it’s just a part of it it doesn’t mean anything like push through and that’s what I did so I ignored my intuition at the time I was like like believing that it wasn’t that deep and
That was my first time being exposed to something on that level the rest of the time I was locked into the process you know we were going through everything I just wanted to be done I just wanted to finish you know I wanted to pop out and actually start doing work for the
Organization we did everything we had fun party um we did service we did all the different things and I was someone that was very crucial to my chapter because usually for me wherever I go I always exert myself to my my fullest capacity so if I’m good at marketing
I’mma do it for that organization if I’m good at camera or video or social media I make sure every talent that I have I give it to what I’m a part of and I did that for the organization I did a lot of different things and then um it was
Around 2020 and Tik Tok popped up so I started posting about the organization on Tik Tok I became like kind of like a Greek influencer and I was you know showing people different ways to go about it if they were interested I was trolling I was repping I was doing
Everything to make it seem like this organization was it and that if you weren’t a part of it scirt or if you were interested I got you right I was recruiting essentially for them and you know that went on for a few years and last year
2023 earlier in the year I would say about March or April I saw a specific de announcing video that changed my life forever so prior to this like I said I had the tingling um but I ignored it and I just kept it pushing because I didn’t
Feel a personal conviction and then I saw this girl denouncing video which prior to that I saw videos all the time and I never thought anything of it it never really resonated with me I usually just scroll past it like oh has nothing to do with me next like most of us do
But she said something that was so specific and so good that I couldn’t ignore it she basically mentioned that whenever you’re going through through all these different rituals and doing all these different things for the organization you’re entering into Covenant with them right and we’re only
Supposed to be in Covenant with God so you’re entering into Covenant with the organization and everything it comes with so even the things you don’t know about you’re in Covenant with too and that shook me y’all not going to lie I got scared because I never heard about
It that way I never heard it come out that way I was like what like I’m in I’m in a covenant with this organization like what does that EV mean and then everything just started clicking like all the rituals like the Omega Omega ceremony why are we having a ceremony
When you die like why can’t I just go you know wait for you know the tribulation for God to come and take me to Heaven why do I have to be inducted into a chapter is it’s not right it’s not of God it’s obvious y’all we were

Right they develop a relation with God or the relation with God grows after the fact and that’s when they reveal like this is not what I should be doing but mine is different I knew God before I knew God doing and I was still deceived and I still ignored the many different
Times that God was speaking to me and that just goes to show how far the deception has gone anyone can be deceived but it’s not about that it’s about turning around making it right being able to ask for forgiveness and move forward and then also let your story be heard so
Back to April I heard the video and I tried to ignore it because this was someone that didn’t really follow I was wondering why it was on my for you page but on Tik Tok but it kept popping up so I couldn’t ignore it so I started talking to different people you know
Doing my research started praying like God what does this mean what are you telling me started going back going through the ritual and there are a lot of people that are in the same place that I was but we just weren’t talking about it so when I realized that I
Started having the conversation with people that are currently in people that had gotten different types of people like what do y’all think about this like why are people denouncing like should Christians be a part of it at all and I kept asking for for signs right hey God let me know
If I should denounce hey God let me know if this is something I should do or should I keep going and literally for about four to five months I just kept ignoring every single sign God was sending to me and I was like this ain’t deep enough this this sign not deep
Enough or I knew I was supposed to do I got to to a point where I knew I was supposed to do it but I kept putting it off and then one day I just packed up everything and I put it on my balcony that way I wasn’t seeing it but I still
Didn’t actually make the decision so I was taking a little step towards it but I needed one more confirmation from God that I needed to let this go and that confirmation actually came through one of my really good friends so when I met her at church um a few months prior I
Had no idea she was a Delta she knew I was because I was repping it I always had like Perry on I would have like the linear like everything like most people knew like I was a Delta and not to say that was a huge part of my identity
Because it wasn’t but because a lot of people at the time that I knew or a lot of people in my church were Greek we kind of had our own community so I got to know her we became very close and the week before I denounced she post
Something on her story about denouncing and I’m like wait what like you were D like what like I was just so confused and I knew that was the final sign from God so I knew what I had to do so I began to reach out um I posted in the
Different group chats like letting everyone know like I was denouncing like if you want to know more you know reach out to me personally right and I left the group chats and then I made a video explaining it and I posted it online because something like this can’t be
Done in private when we when we go through the process and it’s time to probate we make it public we tell the whole world we tell our family and our friends so we have to let them know when we’re public Al letting them know like actually I made a mistake I made a
Decision that wasn’t best God called me out of it here’s why and you should do the same too and that’s where I actually messed up so when I made my initial video about denouncing I made it appear to be something that was based on personal conviction because that’s what
I was feeling at the time in my video I did mention like if you’re a Christian you need to talk to God about this because the rituals and the things we do are not God ly but I also made it very clear that I was doing this because
That’s what God told me to do right I was being obedient but over time like after after denouncing sending the letter and doing everything God started speaking to me more I began to um connect with other people that went through it and it became so clear that
This is something no Christian should be a part of the Bible is so clear by idolatry so clear that idolatry is one of the things that’s going to prevent you from inheriting the kingdom of God but for some reason we like to exclude these organizations from them being
Idolatry because we feel like idolatry is when we literally put things above God but kneeling now at an altar to these Greek gods or organization that is idolatry that is literally idolatry whether we want to accept it or not I was like dang no one should be a part of
This right which is another reason why I’m making a second video in my initial video I made it more of a personal conviction thing right like God told me to do this I don’t hate y’all which I still don’t right hate the sin but not the sinner but I’m making a second video
Because I wanted to be clear that Believers this is not of God and he is calling us out of it so many people are making the decision now because a testimony like mine and we have to continue to talk about it it shouldn’t be something that’s uncomfortable it
Shouldn’t be something that is Hush Hush we have to talk about it because how do we expect other people to get free if we’re not sharing our testimony if we’re not telling people what God has done for us and how he has called us out so a little more about D9 right let’s
Talk about it the origin of D9 is not from Jesus a lot of people love to say you know founded on Christian principles it was not founded on Christian principles we like to think Christian princip principles are love service Brotherhood Sisterhood Christian principles is Living Like Jesus and
Trying to be like Jesus every single day yes we’re supposed to serve and we’re supposed to do all these different things but those are not Christian principles let’s be real so a lot of people come in talking about or feeling more comfortable that it’s Christian principle but it’s not it’s deeper than
That specifically on Delta the Goddess that was is on the crust and that we refer to so many different times was manura and goddess of wisdom whatever goddess as an God as an idol so coming into agreement with this organization means you’re coming into agreement with this goddess right
Kneeling down in the altar means that’s who you’re kneeling to making these Oaths that’s what you’re doing it to that is idolatry and all of the organizations s have their Greek god or goddess that they do the same exact thing for whether or not we believe it we may have been
Doing different things where we’re referring to the organization more than we’re actually referring to the Greek god or goddess but it’s in there and it’s specific to why it does that right because they don’t want us to think that’s what we’re doing they don’t want us to think that we’re actually bowing
Down to these guys they don’t want us to think that we’re actually making these oh singing these songs to these Gods but that’s exactly what it is is let’s talk about the obvious ways that it is idol worship first and foremost from Google the definition of idolatry is worship of
Idols and the definition of an idol is an image or representation of a god used as an object of worship so here are some obvious things that we did that exhibited idol worship and go against the word of God the first thing that we had to do was ungodly ritual ual almost
Every night you know you were doing some type of ritual and y’all we were bowing at altars we were making Oaths and we were essentially entering into Covenant with all these gods and this organization and things that were not of God which makes it idolatry Deuteronomy 32:1 16- 21 NLT version says they
Stirred up his jealousy by worshiping foreign gods they provoked his Fury with detestable Deeds they offered sacrifices to Demons which are not God to gods they had not known before to New Gods only recently arrived and to Gods their ancestors had never feared you neglected The Rock who had fathered you you forgot
The God who had given you birth the Lord saw this and Drew back provoked to anger by his own Sons and Daughters he said I will abandon them then see what becomes of them for they are a twisted generation children without Integrity they have roused my jealousy by worshiping things that are
Not God they have provoked my anger with their useless Idols now I will Rouse their jealousy through people who are not even a people I will provoke their anger through the foolish Gentiles that verse is self-explanatory story these are the things that we’re doing when we’re in these organizations
Knowly or unknown it’s being done the next one is with the Oaths vows and prayers specifically for Delta we mention Delta’s precious name in all these rituals we will say a prayer and end it that way knowing when we pray to Jesus in Jesus mighty name right why are
We replacing Jesus with Delta so a perfect example of this is Matthew Matthew 533 37 NLT says you have also heard our ancestors were told you must not break your vows you must carry out the vows you make to the Lord but I say do not make any vows do not say by
Heaven because heaven is on God’s Stone do not say by by the Earth because the Earth is his foot stol and do not say by Jerusalem for Jerusalem is the city of a great king do not even say by my head for you can’t turn one hair white or
Black just say a simple yes I will or no I won’t anything beyond this is from the evil one so making these vows are not of God it just made that clear another verse that talks about the vows and Oaths and prayers and all the different things you say while going through the
Process or even after is Matthew 12 verse 36 to 37 NLT and I tell you this you must give an account on Judgment Day for Every Idle Word you speak the words you say will either acquit you or condemn you so on Judgment Day God’s going to let us
Know all the different things that we have said and we’re going to be judge based on it so if you’re saying you’re giving your loyalty right your peace your happiness your love if you’re saying this organization is your first love knowing that’s supposed to be who
God is you’re going to be judged on that another thing that exhibits idol worship and it’s obvious are the songs that we had to sing right y’all we literally were singing praises to these organizations and Delta specifically like my peace my happiness I’m going to
Give it to that belongs to God that does not belong to a single person and definitely not an organization like y’all know the song I’ve Been Changed you know I know I’ve been changed the angels in heaven have called my name why is that being replaced with your
Organization it it changed you it’s like yes you go through a process but that’s what Jesus is for that’s what God is for that’s who changes us that’s who calls our name this is obviously idolatry like singing to something else when that place is supposed to be God that’s
Idolatry and it’s so obvious like we will sing so many different songs like you know calling the organization our first love Jesus is our first love y’all getting what I’m putting out because there are so many different obvious ways that worship but if you never think
About it that way you will miss it so here are some excuses that we make us Christians make when it comes to denouncing we say these things because we don’t think we need to denounce we don’t think it’s idol worship we don’t think we’re doing something that goes
Against the word of God number one it’s not idol worship because there’s no Idol to worship did you forget about the Greek gods or goddesses that’s on your Crest that’s an idol that’s a god or goddess that’s not the god therefore it’s an idol another one I’m not active anymore so I’m not
Practicing you literally sign a covenant and as long as your name is on that document you will forever be tied to it so you may not wear letters you may not be out here showing you may not be doing anything active but unless you actually denounce and and give this thing up and
Get your name removed from that list you’re still tied to it it that’s how Covenant works it can’t just be broken because you’re not doing certain things it has to be done through prayer you have to ask for forgiveness and you have to do the actual things like reaching
Out to the headquarters so that they can actually let you go for good another one is not that deep y’all we are not physical beings We Are Spiritual Beings living in a physical world everything is deep everything is spiritual there is nothing we can do that we we can take lightly in the
Kingdom of God because on Judgment Day we’re going to be hell responsible another one that I’ve heard and that I’ve used is God has used me through this organization he used me too because of the organization I have been able to bring so many people in relationship with God
So many people to church that now their lives have been changed forever just because God is using your organization doesn’t mean you being the or organization is pleasing to him like I said he can use anyone in any situation to bring glory to his name we know he’s
That type of guy there’s a season for everything right and God used me to bring people closer to him through the organization now he’s using me to call people out of it and I believe that it was intentional he’s a God that makes no mistakes right and it’s all happening
For a reason and I’m just grateful that I can be a Steward I’m someone that he can use use another one is the church leaders that are also denyed this one is so hard y’all because mind you all these excuses I made too right but let’s call them what they are
Excuses but one thing that was so hard for me to actually do when I when it came to denouncing was accept the fact that leaders in church are just human all humans can be deceived because I definitely was making the excuse well you know I don’t need to do it because
These leaders these pastors these ministers they’re still Greek so there can’t be anything wrong with it but that’s false they’re human they literally still sin it may not be in the in the sins that we fall in because we may be new to Christ or we may not be as
Developed but they are still human and like I said humans get deceived they still get deceived till this day so that’s not an excuse just because you’re Pastor is doing it that doesn’t make it okay if your pastor was committing adultery does that make it it doesn’t
But I understand cuz I said it too but now you know the next one I mentioned earlier personal conviction this is a huge excuse that we love to Ed in everything everything drinking smoking sex like we like to use this as an excuse well you know if I don’t feel personal conviction that
Means I don’t have to move that’s not true that’s not true and personal conviction it happens on different levels and you know spiritual maturity and a bunch of different things play into it but personal conviction does not apply to the things that God makes clear like idolatry the Bible says idolatry is
Not going to allow you to inherit the kingdom of God so many different times as it lifs out the different sins that we are not to partake in idolatry is always there we cannot say that this is personal conviction because it’s it’s obviously in the word of God it says do
Not partake do not participate do not do this so how can we say well I’mma do it because I don’t feel personally convicted that’s us picking and choosing what parts of the Bible we want to follow and we’re not supposed to live that type of life we’re supposed to
Follow the word of God to its entirety whether we like it or not and the last one that I’ve heard is God helped me through the process because he loves you think about the times where we were so involved in sin we were doing things that we weren’t
Supposed to do and God was still there he was still covering us he was still keeping us because of the blood and he allowed you to go through it because you have free will right that’s the type of God that we serve we have free will um
But we’re called to make sound decisions and whether we make it or not he’s still going to protect us it’s just you’re going to get to a point you’re going to get to to spiritual maturity you’re going to get to a certain level in your relationship with God where you realize
That okay maybe this is not what I should have done and God allowed me to go through it so I could share my testimony or for whatever reason it may be but just because he got you through it doesn’t mean it was bringing glory to his name here are a few different
Perceptions that I’ve noticed that happens um when people go through the denounced process right the first one is it’s assumed that their reason for joining was wrong they join for the wrong reasons they just wanted clout they just wanted popularity that is not true and I am evident of that the work
That I did the fact that I was already doing service a lot of the other things I was already involved in I was very developed in who I was when I joined and I literally just added to the organization and added to my chapter so
I did not join for the wrong reasons we have to start jumping to that conclusion the next one is they chose to worship their or or put it before God yes people can choose to make sure they do Delta stuff before they read or they do D
Stuff before they go to church or before they honor God but we’re talking about the things that you’re doing the rituals the Oaths the vows that’s making you go into Covenant of idolatry with these with this organization and the gods that may not actually be you deciding on a
Daily basis to do something that honor the or versus honoring God we’re talking about the acts the different things that you you do that you may not realize or you may not necessarily know the spiritual implication of it that is idolatry people can still choose to put
Their org before God but that is not why many people denounce it’s because of the deeper reason the more spiritual reason that you can’t necessarily see on the surface and the last one that is attention seeking first of all we know the amount of hate that people get by
Publicly denouncing why would anyone want to attract hatred no amount of likes no amount of follows is worth that it’s never about the attention the reason why people are publicly denouncing like I said is because almost 80% of the decision that people make to denounce comes from someone else
