Scripture that I want to share with you this morning from the book of First Corinthians chapter 12 and I’ll be reading from verse 12 to 18 for as the body is one and hath many members and all the members of that one body being many are one body so also is
Christ for by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body whether we be jew or Gentiles whether we be Bond or free and have been all made to drink in one spirit for the body is not one member but many if the foot shall say because I
Am not the hand I am not of the body is it therefore not of the body and if the air shall say because I am not the eye I am not of the body is it therefore not of the body if the whole body were in eye where would the
Hearing if the whole hearing where would the smelling but now hath God set the members every one of them in the body as it hath pleased him bless the Lord and and as I read it put into perspective for me that Deliverance Temple Church of God of Prophecy is our
Church name on the front of our building but in reality inside we are the body of Christ amen and each part just like the human body has its own function we can’t all be the same body part correct we can’t all be the head or the hands or the feet
Unless we would operate in dysfunction essentially we would be a dysfunctional body correct but God has made us as individual parts of his body and has gave us individual personalities and talents so that we may function as a whole to the honor and Glory of his name
Some of us are quiet and reserved And We Worship in silence and there’s nothing wrong with that so when you see your neighbor next to you with their eyes closed and their hands stretched to heaven let them be because they are worshiping the Lord in their own
Way then some of us are more spirited and show emotion and worship loudly and there’s nothing wrong with that either so when you see your neighbor next to you jumping and shouting and praising the Lord let them be because they worshiping in their own
Way and don’t feel you have to take on a certain personality to fit in you know because some of us have gone through some things in this life where we will never be able to perfectly fit in but God can use you just as you are to bring honor and glory to his
Name you know over the years I’ve heard U Minister carlen refer to this place as Liberty Hall and yes this is a place where you should have the Liberty to Worship the Lord in your own way to thank him for your blessings and to surrender your burdens
