Means if you are struggling with succeeding in your life if you have struggles and adversities that you go through just by trying to accomplish things in your life you know this life that we live man it’s hard um nothing is given nothing is easy to get um
Depending on what your level of success is to where you want to be in your life it is still going to be hard even if you think what it is that you’re trying to attain is not as hard as easy it’s still going to be hard anything that you want
You going to have to in this world that we live living you’re going to definitely have to what you’re going to have to work for it you’re going to have to strive for it you’re going to have to set goals you’re going to have to um you
Know attain you know or walk in each step to get to those goals you know what I’m saying um very uh very focusly um to to to obtain them being in the Army for 24 years the Army pretty much teaches you um I would say how to
Program your mind and yourself to obtain you know success and goals and also how to overcome failures right um I don’t think no leader in the uh United States Army or the military service that have obtained any type of success rank positionings um of that nature has not succeeded without failing or succeeding
Without stumbling or succeeding without going through any type of roadblocks um being in the army man it is so competitive um you have Everything is Everything is a competition in in in in a way within the workplace is a competition and your physical fitness is a competition within how you uh present
Yourself and how you look within the uniform it is a competition everything I’m I know going through the military we have to go they they put you through uh they put you through boards right um from obtaining a lot of times from E all the
Way obtaining the rank of E2 to all the way to E5 you have to go through it’s called soldier of the month boards you got to go through um competitions quarter of the month boards for the soldier of the quarter soldier of the month soldier of the year and you you
Know you got to study all this Army material and I’m talking about they load you with so much information that you got to know right and I’m gonna be honest man I’m G say it like a lot of people there’s some people in the PO in some Pockets that they believe the
Military and whatever because remember there’s only 1% if if less than that of of Americans that ever serve in the armed forces but those that actually serve and have a successful career and stay within that career and actually obtain positionings and ranks and promotions right it is not easy um for
For uh for us those that have went through that and if you went through it you definitely understand it is an accomplishment because the normal man or the normal civilian don’t have to go through those type of things now they not saying that they don’t have
Adversity but ours is a little bit more stringent um it’s very uh competitively driven and everything that you do you’re showcas it’s almost like you’re on dis to who you are as a person as a soldier um how you work what everything because in in another words when you
Become in the ranks of an officer and a non-commission officer right you get up to the higher ranks you get evaluated like monthly quarterly and um yearly and everything is about like what is your character like how well are you in as a leader how well are you as a far as
Within responsibility everything accountability everything is under a microscope so being in the arms forces you it’s not just going to work 9 to 5 or working 8 10 hour 14 hours a day you come in there you just do that do your job you’re doing you become a jack of
All trades and also you become a expert a what an expert in everything they throw you in positions and they tell you he figure it out because you are in that position they want you to become the expert they don’t want to it ain’t no excuse about that you don’t know or get
It done find a way and it ain’t about well I wasn’t trained or I didn’t have this so and hey find a way when you are in those positions of leadership and you have this Rank and you have been promoted based off the potential of what you can do and
What and the type of leader that you are you have to perform it is very very it becomes very stressful um it it it makes you a different type of mind uh person and I’m going to be honest even though I retired because I
Was ready to go and you know it was it was that we we’ll talk about that for another day and I was ready to get out of there and you know it just ran its course um appreciate what the Army has done for me and my family but I had to
Go but I would tell you this it definitely when I got out or I started to go out for job interviews it showed me how and what it done for me how it separated myself from uh I mean a lot of the civilian sector
Man I mean just the um the pride the how you carry yourself I really believe the confidence that the Army has instilled in me for my last 24 years that I can go in any job interview just about and be able to even get to the last interview
Or the people that are interviewing me that employer I guarantee you they will think that you know what we they gonna think about giving me the job or hiring me um not you know tooting my horn but I’ve been I’ve been hired for numerous jobs right I’ve been hired for to be a
Financial advisor to come in and be a financial advisor by one of the these top companies I’ve been hired to be um to do uh commercial real estate without even attaining my real estate license um I’ve been hired to be a uh project manager of a a company out in Raley North
Carolina um I can go on and on man and that right there it just showed me that the things that the Army did teach me and even through my failures it equipped me you know what I’m saying to be confident to be able to continue to strive and continue to move forward no
Matter what failures or stumbling box I may have in my life on the PS on the pursuit to find to accomplish to uh any goals that that that I that I set my mind to so I want you guys if you are going through any of that failure
You’re not you’re hitting Road Blocks you’re stumbling you know there’s always something that is coming in your way and stopping you from attaining that goal to accomplishing to succeed to continue to go on because in Failure there is something that you can learn in your
Failure are you going to what is it is your is your mindset going to fall off are you gonna be able are you gonna be able to continue to stay resilient p and and persevere through the roadblocks and the stones that’s getting thrown at you because you’re dodging and
And and and you’re stagnant you feel like you’re stagnant are you going to be able to continue to keep that enthusiasm for what it is that you’re trying to obtain and continue to push forward through those adversities and go get what you need to get for whatever it is
That you need to do see what I’m saying so hey understand in this life you live there’s G to be stumbling box anything that you do will not be easy the failures the failures to me are wins because in a failure you’re going to learn something that’s going to make you a better

Coaching you only know them in the pockets because our kids are are friends or you don’t know the pockets or we only been in the military and then I got my my uh my partner James man that be on on Mondays and Wednesdays the Army I ain’t going to lie
It’s hard to kind of have an individuality a personality in a way of you know being able to conduct yourself to do certain of the things that maybe you see I I’m doing now or other people’s whether it’s music whether it’s you know poetry where whether it’s acting whether it’s anything that is
Very creative because you got to be so f focused and driven on on this and then it’s all about you how you project yourself as a army leader and all this stuff so I ain’t gonna lie call you kind of lose your identity and become a robot
And then you got people live these double lives and stuff like that because when they’re in their green suit they gotta portray this you know because they gotta be professional you know what I’m saying but anyways shout out to all the people that creative minds the musicians
The Independent Artists the uh if you do artwork in any type of way I love seeing that I love people I love to see people able to connect with what’s in their heart and their minds and their passions and being able to portray and display that and whether it’s singing whether
It’s rapping whether it’s writing whether it’s uh um um drawing whether it’s painting um what other what other rims of artistic uh creative uh beings I mean it it doesn’t matter an architect is creative you know IND idual that you know creates houses and stuff like that
That is a mind I true story I wanted to be a architect my mom and dad listening you know saying they know that I wanted to be an architect but I’m not good in math I never was um you know math did not I ain’t gonna say it didn’t
Interested in me my mind doesn’t work that way I am more of an artistic Soul artistic being artistic mind and everything so math we didn’t connect so I didn’t I wasn’t able to become an art what is it an excuse me architect but if I would have
Known what I known now and I would have probably pushed through it and been able to do it if I was younger man as I got older I was able to understand myself and what I’m what my strengths and weaknesses was and everything and I enhance embellishes what I embellish my
Strength and I work on my weaknesses and hopefully my weaknesses become my strengths but anyway hey the shout out the day if you a creative mind creative soul man keep doing what you do hey man and I definitely I support those that portray that those that um I
Definitely because I’m when I was doing music when I was younger me and my brother when I came across an independent artist or a young brother or a young sister that was either singing rapping whatever I’ve always like either supported their stuff I bought their CD
And everything because I know how it is in the world that we live in everything is so mainstream and people are I’m G to call it they’re kind of so sh alow they’re kind of stuck into only what the world and society and media feeds them
So they’re not going to go outside of those parameters because they may not believe those anybody outside of that then you’re not you must not be good you do music what you do this so I try to I like to be around people that are very

Controversial Pastor I think uh what’s his name Jennings um I just came to about just you know find out about him pretty much in the last few months not saying that I agree with everything that he says but he had something that he was speaking about and he was talking about
Fatties he was talking about um the you know what fraternities are not of God and that was very interesting to me very very interesting interesting uh to me about what he was talking about and you know the dangers of knowing knowingly taking un ungodly oath you know I also
Joined the fraternity I joined the um a military fraternity when I was in the Army um and because I ain’t G to lie when I was younger and I wanted to go to school I remember one of going to HBCU and stuff seeing this stuff on TV and it
Looked cool in my mind it looked cool it looked like man I want to belong I want to be a part of that Brotherhood I want to be I want to be out there stepping I want to do that you know it was appealing to me and I I remember you
Know uh and so I didn’t go straight to an HBC after college you know I went to college a little bit and then I went to uh into the army so I never really got to partake in that something that I thought that I would I was I wanted to
Do um you know years later being in the Army the Army then in the army they got multiple fraternities now they got military fraternities you you you don’t have in the military anymore it’s just it’s for veterans and you know and it’s a greatek fraternity and
Uh I know I just I was like man I’m do that I was in South Carolina man and I I put it like this I was going through a divorce you know so I guess I was searching maybe to be a part part of something that I needed but pretty much
I’ve always been a nomad a loner in a way you know I I connect with people have friends and but I’ve always been all to myself and as how I was raised I was raised that I a need to be involved in a click
I didn’t need to be a part of a circle I didn’t need to be a part of a group I didn’t need to be part of an organization and pretty much throughout my career I did that I didn’t join any type of secret fraternities and until
Then and I thought it would be cool you know I went through the crossing process and the the intake process and all that stuff and yeah I got it it was great I met some great great people um interesting uh individuals and everything and but even going through
There I knew deep down inside I remember I had to talk with my mother my mother was like basically you know you know just watch out for that and you know without her maybe going in so deep of a detail which you know she was basically telling
Me that’s not God like and I know a lot of you guys that see this and probably will listening will listen to this you probably are a part of that so you may as if I am attacking your very being of what you are a part of and and your
Decisions and everything I am just speaking on my thoughts and how I feel whether you agree or not that is not for me to worry about but I’m going to speak on the rim of what God is talking about because I a I got the Bible in front of me but I know
That for a fact that don’t worship any false idols and anything that is not of God we should not be doing right I know this yall like man I’m not in church some of y’all like this is why I don’t go to church but there’s some account if
You have a faith and a foundation of faith and I ain’t going to even say what you believe in or anything but I know I’m a Christian and we can talk about that too cuz uh I’m going be honest and I say this even if you have a shaky uh
Faith in whatever those that don’t have any type of foundation and what they believe in those are the individuals that are in to me they Wonder their soul is just in an in an abyss because what they do what they’re doing they’re questioning God they’re questioning the very being
So they’re trying to look for something that’s going to say hey this is what it is this is I’m right here because you know he’s saying you know faith is you know you know uh what is it uh worship Le by Le Blind by faith and everything
Right Believe by uh believe by faith not by sight excuse me right and that’s the only thing that we can have that we can hold on to but I’m G to talk about this as far the condemning of of fraternities Masonic all this stuff right man the information that I’ve read the
Information that I’ve gotten and how I’ve felt did didn’t settle Well with My Soul so I no longer um operate in that space of being a part of that fraternity and I’m okay with it because I’ve always operated not being a part of groups and being able to
Succeed with the favor and the covering of God you know and I’m not perfect I’m not saying that I’m perfect that those that think I’m definitely not perfect but I know where my faith stand and I know where my feet stand you know what I’m
Saying so so as you find as as we continue to go on with this right there’s oath there see they believe in Oaths are binding agreements so when you make an oath like what you’re doing you are promising to do something or not do something like this can be a problem if
You take an oath to do something that goes against what God says right so if you call yourself a Christian and I don’t even know if you if the Muslim faith or what else any faith within the Christian Circle right so as Christians and godly people we must be aware of
Dangers of ungodly oath why why why you say right because some organizations often require in right they inates initiates it you take Oaths and then you perform rituals so if you perform rituals that’s not of the of God and you say that you go to C church and you believe in the
Bible it’s ungodly oath because some organizations often they see this they require initiates to take these Oaths and perform these rituals right that are that’s against the biblical teachings sometimes these groups are disguised as harmless social clubs or charity they’re doing the work of the community it is great but I’m
Going say this this is what I came to believe in my mind in my heart going through the and I’m going through the process and then just seeing even and I should have just stayed with what I’ve always felt I believe the people that are searching their souls
And their Spirits are weak and therefore they don’t have a strong Foundation of self and SP their spiritual what they what their Spirit needs so they’re searching to gravitate to something to hold hold them together they’re searching to be a part of something right and this is when the
Fraternities come into into play now you can you can what is it defri me or unfollow me I don’t I really don’t care because pretty much you know what I’m saying if if you don’t like what I’m saying then we definitely wasn’t friends before anyway you know and then probably what
95 or the percent people on my Facebook or Instagram or anything or really we’re not really friends anyway you’re just following me just to be nosy or because we know each other from I don’t know High School military or whatever that’s the truth of the matter right so it’s so
It’s important that you do your research when you join any organization to ensure that it don’t clash with that which what of God see there’s dangers of these Oaths there’s dangers when you joining uh uh these fraternities right steps evaluations right in the society these are societies
That not of God like I join a fraternity they was like as long as you believe in a higher being well atheists or people there there’s devil there’s devil worshippers that’s higher being to them see I was in a place of vulnerability I was in a place that I
Was searching for something at the time but so we have to be careful because the devil always going to be coming after you right and it comes after you in so many different ways so just like so why people join these organizations I already gave you
To why I join there’s many reasons right they join sororities fraternities right so friendship networking opportunities with like-minded individuals leadership development training increased the social circuit Circle right in your support system I got support now I don’t feel like I’m alone right some of them do scholarship opportunities money opportunities I’ve
Been in the military I was in the army man and when I came in man it was if you was a part of the Masonic and everything and all you had to do is take a DA photo and staying at a certain angle and all this good stuff so there’s career
Opportunities and Network and then and and that that would Propel your career or assist you in actually obtaining promotions and stuff see I’m talking because it’s real nobody want to talk about that but see I’ve always felt like I’ve been covered by God I’ve always kind of moved to my own
Beat no no maybe I’m not always in church every Sunday and I’m walking around with a Bible and saying oh I’m not doing that but guess what I know my spirit I know my heart I know where I stand so don’t judge or say well you I’m a
Judge I’m just saying I’m just telling you what I know that it’s not I don’t feel this right just my thought of the day see these are this is the danger by joining these organizations right see you may ask right fre so frequently tempted to do something that goes against your
Beliefs you could be sworn to Secret about these things if you got to be sworn do you think that that is of god but you do it because you weak-minded because you want be able to obtain things and obtain positions right you may be required to take part in rituals
And activities that are pagan nature now we all do a lot of this paganist stuff right Christmases holidays that they have commercializes Easter with with the bunny what the bunny got to do God come on man like then we got Halloween that there’s Christians that still celebrate
Halloween but you say that I’m just talking y’all see you may you could be asked to compromise your belves in order to advance within the organization or you may be isolated from your family and friends who are not a part of the organization I’m telling you man I’m
Just speaking on my thoughts the thought of the day do you even know what the fraternity or Serenity ritual books says there’s do you think that they’re just making this stuff up as they go they are doctrin you might want to get into it and honestly ask yourself is this of God
And if it is and you’re okay with it then you may not be of God and see I looked at some of see there’s initiation fa phrases right that are recited during uction ceremonies in some of these organizations these phrases can be found in ritual books right some sorties fraternities phrases
That concerns have concern I went through it and I’m gonna be honest though I went through it at the time that I was going through it I wasn’t feeling right and I’m just going to say it because I don’t care unfollow me I don’t care about really don’t
Care so I’m telling you we got Hood we going in there we brother you know keep your head down keep your head down keep your head down stepping in there then they tell us to turn around take your hood off and then you look up and on the ladder there’s a

Thirsty for for clout are we that thirsty for to be a part of something because we are so insecure in have so much insecurities with oursel that we need a group of people to uplift us to be able to put us up on a to be able to
Attain things in this life that we live there are I’m telling you see there are also phrases that I didn’t even include in there there’s many things what does the Bible say about the sories and fraternity I’m this is just my thoughts bro although the Bible doesn’t explicitly talk about these
Organizations here are a few verses right in Matthew 22 verse 37 Jesus says you shall love the Lord your God with all in your heart right and with all your soul with all your mind no way in the Bible does it say that we should pledge our loyalty to anything or anyone
Other than God in Matthew 1626 Jesus says for what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and for feet for feet his soul forfeits his soul or what shall a man give in return for his soul we are called to put God first in our lives not
An organization let us be careful about the things that may ultimately cost us in John 14:15 Jesus said if you love me you will keep my Commandments we are not to blindly obey rules but to follow God’s command of love in Matthew 12330 Jesus says whoever is not with me
Is against me and whoever does not gather with me scatters so if we are for an ungodly organization first we are truly against God in fact the last one Corinthians 3:9 we are told for we are co-workers in God’s service you’re God’s field God’s Building so we cannot pledge to an
Organization on a no matter what basis we cannot put an organization first before God especially when we are co-workers in God’s service so if I said anything or recited anything from the scripture of the Bible right and if you don’t believe then guess what then we have that’s an issue
For you to resolve with yourself and if you just like well these are words of people whatever but I’m G be honest man these words are prophetic it just makes sense your soul and your spirit when you don’t feel like something is right it is not even
Anybody telling you that that is the spirit moving through you and that’s what it did to me and I gradually went through my process and no longer participate because I knew it wasn’t me 12 steps to help you evaluate the uh society that is not God how we do that
How do that there’s membership requirements look at the oath for the secrecy evaluate the society by its fruits check for the group social all that historical fls facts talk with current members consult with Christians review paper you gotta go all this but understand this I know everything that’s
In this world right it is not just about everything that’s in this world right is not pretty much to the liking them God meaning there are going to be things that we’re going to have to do that’s going to be of the world but if you
Don’t have to do those things you don’t need to put yourself in those positions and that’s what I did I eliminated and removed myself out of that position now I know I’m not perfect and I’m not saying I know there’s other things that we could talk about about being UNG

We held our hands up and we pled and we say well would defend the Constitution you know what I’m saying Against All Foreign um and domestic right and we would defend what the country based off what the interest of the United States so whatever the in interest of the United States it could
Be good or bad right we are pledging to defend that now you can say it’s in a good way and there were Wars and warriors back then but still the god people even back then they wasn’t a part of that I’m telling you this is just me aspiration my U me developing and
Growing as just a man and my Outlook and take and my thoughts you can agree to disagree you can agree and agree it doesn’t matter but I’m just giving you my thoughts real talk I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the
Republic with which it stands one nation under God IND individual liberty and justice for all now those things are pretty much seem like in good in a good way right but we are still pledging when we put our hand on over the art and we stand up for the national
