Good morning church good morning this is the day that the lord has made and we’re going to rejoice and be exceedingly glad in it it is such a joy to be here this morning to serve god with my brothers and sisters in christ amen our topic this morning is entitled fraternities and sororities
Are they right or wrong this lesson this morning is is brought back again because of someone that contacted me uh through the week and wanted a little bit more clarity on this subject or topic so i’m going to deviate from the book of james this morning but i’m
Coming back to the book of james so i want to go back and deal with this topic and it’s not just a topic of discussion uh as whether eden eating in the fellowship in the in the church building that is of no avail you know
It’s not just a a topic of just to be talked about this has salvation this is a salvation topic and so therefore i was asked to deal with it and i’m going to deal with it this time in a comprehensive manner i’m going to
Deal with this in a series so that i can pull out all the nuggets that are vital to understanding this topic so i’m going to i’m going to i jot some notes so that i can make sure that i get everything in that i want to say so pardon me if i
Have to bend down and read a little bit but it is to get these important facts in as we address this topic my text is taken from matthew chapter 7 and the verse verses are 24 and 26. the bible says therefore whosoever hear these sayings
Of mine and do it them i will liken him unto a wise man which built his house upon a rock verse 26 and everyone that heareth these sayings of mine and doeth them not shall be likened unto a foolish man which built his house upon the sand i chose this these verses
From a foundational standpoint to show that whatever it is that we’re involved in you have to go back to its founding principles amen you have to go back to its foundation upon which it is built on and so jesus is making it clear that when we hear his sayings you can count
On his foundation it is a sure foundation it is a sound foundation it is a foundation that’s built on a rock amen he says but whosoever hears his words and do it them not now he’s building upon a foundation but he’s not building upon a sound foundation right when man builds on man
You are building on the sand you are building on a foundation that is not sound so jesus is making it very clear that whatever you build your life on whatever you are entrusting on as your foundation for which you may be involved affiliated with or doing the
Foundation by which it is bound built on it determines whether that foundation will stand and whether you will stand or fall with it so you cannot be in something that is owned a shaky foundation and you come out all right right so let me make that point point number one
Also let me go on and say that these are my personal convictions and views that i believe in fraternities and sororities i believe in brotherhoods and sisterhoods of various natures i believe in them as a matter of fact you i’ve been as a community servant i’ve been in all types
Of brotherhoods and sisterhoods and and if it’s not called by a formal name of a fraternity or sorority the same thing is it is a brotherhood or sisterhood i’ve been in uh religious i’m in a religious brotherhood right now amen with a brotherhood and sisterhood i’ve been in community
Brotherhoods and sisterhoods that are about community business community uplift community uh training and so forth community empowerment improving the community i’ve been in political brotherhoods and sisterhoods as a an elected official as a city councilman so those were my political brothers and sisters and so now i was in an athletic fraternity
As a member of a collegiate basketball team that was a fraternity and for women who play sports a sorority if you will these are your sisters these are your comrades in arms as you are trying to accomplish a certain thing so i believe in fraternities and sororities
Let me go ahead and on record to say that now i also believe that young people should seek organizations that stand for improving campus life academic excellence community service social activism and so forth i also believe that young people should seek to find a place where they matter and fit in
Or find something that validates their life now but i must caution you and warn you that as you seek out organizations for validation be aware of your deficit be aware of your low self image be aware of your low self-esteem amen because if you are not aware of your own deficits
And you go to become a part of any fraternity or sorority for the purpose of validating who you are then you fall into a temptation of making that your validation and badge of honor and in doing so you fall into a trap that could take you down a road to
Where it can cost you your soul now do we understand that people get involved in organizations to help find them their way and to fit into things yes there’s nothing wrong with that i’m just also making you aware that if you have to depart from an organization if you have
To depart from a fraternity or sorority then that does not mean that you are invaluable as a human being amen amen now and then also i believe in leaving a legacy of accomplishments etcetera etcetera so i believe in these things they are good principles to be taught now
This study is designed not to condemn people or organizations that seek to promote these things it is designed to identify elements that people may not be aware of that is counterproductive to their relationship with god under the guise of being a good organization so therefore we’re going to have to use
Some discernment we’re going to have to use some judgment and any organization that we are a part of be it community social be it religious be it athletic be it uh whatever you have to make judgments as to is this organization on a sound fine foundation right and is it an organization that
I need to be a part of what do you mean so there it is is it all right to be a part of organizations that promote all of the things that i’ve spoken of before yes it is do we have to make sound judgments discernments and decisions about any
Organizations of a fraternal or sorority order that we have to be aware of yes and this also goes for lodges and those who may be participating in uh masonry and eastern styles so for they all call themselves fraternities and sororities you need to be aware of the foundation
Upon which these organizations are built oh man now this study deals with the fact that some organizations use as a foundational principle rituals ceremonies pledges and practices that are based in idolatry amen knowingly and or unknowingly you need to know that i understand that we would have to leave this world
To get away from all sin that is not my position neither is it god’s i’m addressing the requirements that one volunteers to do to be in certain organizations so you have to look at what these requirements are what are they are they godly are they acceptable unto god are they sanctioned from heaven
Or are they the money now for those who have joined certain organizations now you know the rituals the pledges the oaths and prayers upon which you’ve taken to get in these organizations you know what you have sworn to and let me say this as we’re dealing with this topic
This topic is to bring clarity so that at the end of the day we can go to heaven and be safe amen now i have i have run across people who are in the church and who may be a part of certain organizations and they’ve asked me these questions
About is it right or wrong to get into and so forth well that’s not just a right or wrong question let me show you what i mean some people may ask does the church christ believe in speaking in tongues now most people ready to turn a quick answer will say no
We don’t believe in speaking in tongues now the truth is we do believe in speaking in tongues so deseanette i’m confused no it’s not a point of confusion it’s a point of clarity amen how do we speak in tongues today right we speak in tongues and we speak different languages we speak
Latin we speak greek we speak hebrew we speak spanish we speak in these different tongues or languages but it is not by miraculous nature we have to go to rosetta stone or take a class in school college or some other organization so that we can learn this tongue or language
So we do believe in speaking in tongues we just don’t believe that a person can speak it miraculously amen another thing that people will ask do the church of christ believe in healing and then some members of the church who are not cognizant of what they are saying
They will be quick to answer and they may come out and say no we don’t believe in healing well when you look into the matter we do believe in healing amen we just don’t believe in miraculous peeling to where if a man broke his leg bone and the bone is sticking out of
The flesh that someone can just go up to it and touch it and it is healed against nature right that’s right and it is whole immediately right when jesus came and he had the apostles to do such that was to prove and give them the credentials that they were who they said
They were amen amen and so god allowed miraculous healing for a time but in first corinthians 13 he said all of that was going to come to an end when the word of god was revealed and written and completed and now we have it known as the holy
Bible right so we do believe in healing we just believe in providential healing not miraculous healing from the standpoint that you’re healed against nature amen amen so then you bring it to the point of study today do you all believe in fraternities and sororities the answer to that is yes
We believe in fraternities and sororities as i have explained and outlined earlier in the beginning of the lesson but it is worth examination to go now and see upon what foundation rituals practice prayers oaths and ceremonies by which people are required to get in the organization and what is its goal amen
So these are things that have to be examined and i wanted this on record i want it recorded so that way people won’t go and say what brother greg said or what do you think about it this is not a matter of opinion or what somebody
Else thinks about it this is a matter of what the bible teaches and i’m going to teach the bible amen this study is not focused on what some do regarding hazing partying or prideful behavior as is the case in some chapters and some individuals however we do understand that christians must make value
Judgments regarding this this study digs much deeper than that this study asked people to carefully examine the principles and practices upon which they voluntarily swear into is it of god that is a good question when you go perform oath rituals and ceremonies and enlighten candles and walking
Through dark halls and going into dark rooms blindfolded and and asked to recite this stuff and get down and bowing on your knees and and referencing images and pictures and idols you need to ask yourself is this of god right and for any honest truth-seeking person that’s listening to this lesson today
You need to be honest and transparent with yourself of the things that you have gone and done in the name of joining a fraternity and now that you are a member of the church of christ who should know your bible let me tell you something you ought to be ashamed of
Yourself if you cannot at this point in your life discern between good and evil amen if you cannot discern between idolatry witchcraft and true worship of the father see what that what that really communicates is that you have a disc on his heart and you really don’t want to
Give up the world you want to hang to the world you want to hold to one and despise the other but god said you cannot love both of them now this lesson is part one of a series because i am going to deal with this comprehensively so that there
Is left no doubt the only thing that’s going to be left for a person that’s here in this lecture today and this series is you being honest enough and transparent enough with yourself and god amen to do what is right by god what do you mean i fell agreed
Not by your mama or daddy not by sister or brother right not by friendship kinship and relationship amen but by the almighty god who wrote this book and sent it back who has given us all things that pertain unto life and godliness amen amen and if you are unwilling to do that
You need to check your walk with the lord amen today’s lecture deals with idolatry lessons two and three are forthcoming and we’ll identify practices rituals and ulterior motives that unsuspecting people may not be aware of as they discussed the topic i repeat as we begin all fraternities and sororities do not
Practice idolatry right the bible must be the christian’s guide not the opinions of others preachers family church members or friends the bible must be the guy amen the bible says in timothy 2 and 15 study to show thyself approved unto god a workman that needed not to be ashamed rightly dividing the
Word of truth so it is not about who else agrees with you or not see most people who are seeking to to stay in something that the bible is clarifying that is wrong to be in and notice i didn’t generalize that to all fraternities and sororities i’m
Wanting you to go and do an in-depth research in the organization upon which you have put your hand upon which you have sworn upon which you have taken oath and gotten into and compare what is taught today to see if it is consistent with what you’ve done amen
And if it is not consistent get out of it right man now what’s so hard about that don’t go to arguing and trying to deflect and project be honest with yourself and get out of it now god has warned man throughout the ages concerning idolatry let’s go to the word of god
In genesis chapter 5 through chapter 3 verses 5 through 6 the bible says for god does know that in the day you shall eat thereof then your eyes shall be opened and you shall be as gods look at that knowing good and evil and when the woman
Saw that the tree was good for food and that it was pleasant to the eyes and a tree to be desired to make one wise she took up the fruit thereof and did eat and gave also unto her husband with her and he did eat satan what did you introduce
Unto the first couple in the garden of eden he introduced idolatry see when you go back to the beginning of time you got to go back and dig the nuggets out these scriptures and he what he was introducing was you can be as gods small jesus he
Introduced idolatry man has had a hard time coming down through the ages dealing with idolatry and witchcraft in genesis chapter 6 and verses 5 the bible says and god saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination of the thoughts of his
Heart was only evil continually and as you stay with the biblical context of the whole bible coming through it from genesis all the way to get to the book of revelations you’re going to see that the evil that they were practicing throughout the ages was idolatry and witchcraft
In genesis chapter 10 in verses 8 through 9 and genesis 11 through 4 you’ll see that nimrod was a father of idolatry and witchcraft upon which people are still practicing today and the book of revelations takes you all the way back to nimrod and ancient babylon when it’s dealing with
666 and the queen of heaven all of that has direct reference going back to nimrod and his wife samaramus and his son uh tammuz in genesis chapter 12 and verses one abraham at the time was called abram was told to get away from his family why because they were practicing idolatry
And witchcraft in genesis chapter 31 and the verse is 34 rachel jacob’s wife took the image and the item of her of her father laban when they departed so she took an image it she took an idol and and took it with her and hid it and sat on it so that her
Father laban couldn’t find it exodus chapter 7 and verses 11 pharaoh and egypt was involved in idolatry and witchcraft in deuteronomist chapter 28 and verses 14 you’re going to see that god’s people were plagued with idolatry and witchcraft throughout the whole time that they were wandering in the
Wilderness and throughout the time of the judges throughout the time of the kings and throughout the time of the time of the patriarchal time of the mosaic and when you get into the christian age the christian age and you’re going to see that when god comes back he’s going to address people who
Had gotten involved in idolatry and witchcraft going all the way back to the beginning of time this has been man’s nemesis this has been man’s problem since the beginning of time that’s why i took you all the way back to the garden amen now in deuteronomist chapter 28 and
Verses 14 and thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which i command thee this day to go to the right hand or to the left to go after other gods to serve them now in that same chapter you will see that these people got beside themselves
And they did the very thing that god told them not to get involved in they put their hands to things that they had no business putting them to they swore oats that they had no business swearing they went through rituals an idolatrous practice of which they were not supposed
To be in and god told them when you do this i’m going to see to it that you are sold into slavery throughout the world and you’re going to be sold on ships and nobody is going to redeem you nobody is going to be able to get you out of the
Trouble that i’m going to heap upon you as a people amen in deuteronomy 28 and verses 68 and the lord shall bring thee into egypt the house of bondage again with ships by the way whereof i speak unto thee that thou shalt see it no more again and
There ye shall be sold unto your enemies as slave men and slave women and no man shall buy no man shall redeem no man shall save you so god told his people as he was leading them out of egyptian bondage do not get yourself entangled in idolatry and witchcraft and if you do
I’m going to see to it that you are going to be sold throughout the world as slaves i’m giving you biblical context and understanding as we walk this thing all the way up and i’m going to give you a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the bible amen this has
Been man’s problem and nemesis from the beginning of time amen amen and it’s going to be man’s problem in the day of judgment now after moses and joshua died god gave his people judges to guide them they constantly sought out idolatry and witchcraft in judges chapter 2 and
Verses 11 and the children of israel did evil in the sight of the lord and served balaam in judges chapter 2 and verses 16 and 17 nevertheless the lord raised up judges which delivered them out of the hand of those that spoiled them and yet they would not hearken unto their judges they
Would not listen to the man of god they would not listen to the preacher they would not listen to the elders that knew better they would not listen to the deacons that knew better they would not listen to faithful brothers and sisters in the church that knew better they
Would not listen to faithful family members in the church who knew better they were hardheaded stiffness and stubborn and wanted to stay in idolatry and witchcraft amen now the bible says and yet they would not hearken unto their judges but they went a whoring after other gods and bowed themselves
Unto them they turned quickly aside out of the way which their fathers walked in obeying the commandments of the lord but they did not sow now when you go read the whole chapter of judges chapter two it makes you embarrassed to be a human being to see how god was so gracious
And after he was whipped them he would restore them and i’ll be john brown if they didn’t turn right around and go back and start participating in this mess again amen go read it don’t read it it makes you embarrassed to be a human being and for members now
These are god’s people keep this in context this was the church of christ in the wilderness amen this was the church of christ now remember the church of christ is prefigured in the garden of eden and adam and eve that’s the patriarchal dispensation the church of christ is prefigured in the mosaic dispensation
Moses was a pre-figure of christ the wilderness was a pre-fight of the church so we’re talking about members of the church of christ getting caught up in idolatry and witchcraft now so when we when i see and hear members of the church who are part of certain organizations and they’ve done
Or carried out things that are against biblical practices i make that a point of emphasis every time i go by it and they act as if they just cannot understand what a faithful man of god is teaching on this subject right i’m telling you that you are dishonest
In your heart right i’m telling you that without equivocation without reservation without hesitation right you do not have an honest heart right because people who are not even members of the church of christ who have not come to know the underrated unadulterated truth of the gospel have
Better sense to know than what some of us in the church claiming that we just can’t understand amen amen now after the judges they wanted a king now watch this watch that same old nemesis now they didn’t want god’s direction they didn’t want god’s way they wanted a king now what are they
Really asking for you i’m giving you the context of the bible what were the pagan kingdoms engulfed by idolatry and witchcraft so when the judges died and they went to samuel telling samuel we don’t want we don’t want we want we want to be we want a king
Let’s see the conversation here in first corinthians chapter eight and verses 5 and said unto him i’m sorry first samuel thank you first samuel chapter 8 and verse 5 and said unto him thou art o and thy sons walketh not in thy ways now
Make us a king to judge us like all the nations they wanted what idolatry and witchcraft see this is what’s really going on when you stay within the context in first samuel chapter 28 verses 6 through 15 go read that in your own time but king saul who is the first king that
God gave them he gave them a king but old king saul was hard-headed obstinate and self-willed and he wanted to do what he wanted to do to the point that god rejected him as being king and god left him now what did he go and get involved in witchcraft he went
And got involved in idolatry in witchcraft king saul he went and found a witch to go conjure up samuel back from the grave now samuel when he came back from the dead he was angry and upset he asked saul why are you disquieting me in other words what are you worrying me for
When i was there alive you didn’t want to hear nothing that i had to tell you from god amen now that i’ve gone on to rest leave me alone now jesus when he came what time did he come in he came during the time of idolatry and
Witchcraft to set man freedom from it this is what was going on during that lapse of time as we were waiting on the pranks to come the people were being deceived beguiled and tricked with witchcraft by people in the elite statuses that were bewitching them beguiling them deceiving them and and
And handling and twisting and turning them in directions that they didn’t even realize they were going yeah and they were using idolatry and witchcraft to do it in malachi chapter 3 and verses 17 and 18 and they shall be mine this is the prophecy this is the time that malachi is prophesying about
The christ which is to come but in during this time listen at what’s going on and they shall be mine saith the lord of hosts in that day when i make up my jewels i will spare them as a man’s spirit his own son that serveth him then shall ye return and discern
Between the righteous and the wicked between him that servant god and him that servant him now now god said now when the christ comes on the scene he’s going to make it clear as to what you need to be serving as to who you need to be serving amen
He’s going to make it very clear and understandable whether you need to be involved in idolatry and witchcraft or not right or whoever you need to be involved in serving the only wise god our savior dominion and power both now forevermore amen amen he’s going to make it very clear
Now he said now some are going to be obedient which are going to make up his jewels that he’s going to take back with him to heaven but some are going to be hard-headed republican stiff-necked obstinate and set wheeled and they’re going to look to justify staying in nonsense that
I spoke clearly from the beginning of time to the end of time trying to justify yourself in something that i plainly told you was an abomination to me amen church we got to get real about this walk amen because he just camping and praying and trying to fool god
Who’s telling us from the beginning what has been tripping us up right now in matthew chapter 23 when you go read that whole 23rd chapter of matthew he is upgrading these people these leaders these so-called elite religious leaders and when you go back and you read matthew mark luke john
And acts and romans and first and second corinthians ephesians philippians colossal and galatians when you go and read all the way through you’re going to see that these people were practicing witchcraft and idolatry that’s right now i’m going to show you in luke chapter 12 and verses one and
One through three jesus declared i don’t care what secrets these so-called fraternities and sororities that are practicing such and larges and eastern stars and all it is i don’t care what secrets you think you have a lead on jesus said he declared that i’m going to make known
Dc amen and you know what i can i can say unequivocally without a shadow of a doubt that the bible is true amen amen god has made known these secrets amen what was kept hidden for a long time but but thanks be to google thanks be to bean
Thanks be to all of the other search engines and the internet today that honest people who realized that what they were in were wrong thanks be to youtube amen that they have gone on and revealed information the information upon which these organizations are built on
And now you got to do is go read the information the foundational principles the rituals the prayers the oaths that they are doing and practicing and then do what i’m doing and compare it to the holy reaction amen amen now now jesus he’s been crucified and the apostles must continue
Wrestling with idolatry and witchcraft after his death in acts chapter 15 and verses 20 28 and 29 the bible says but that we write unto them that they abstain from pollutions of idols from fornication from things strangled and from blood for it seemed good to the holy ghost and to us
To lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things that you abstain from meat offered to items and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication from which if you keep yourselves you shall do well fair your way now the writer says i have to go now
I want you all the farewell in my absence but i want you to know that i’m telling you now this was so important you know when a person dies they want to leave a few parting words and and nine times out of ten if not ten
Times out of ten this is some extremely important information right that they want the family to hold to in their in their assets amen so this was so important to paul that he’s saying look or the writer luke wrote it but he’s saying this is so important i’m
Getting ready to go off the scene and if i don’t have but a few words to leave to you i want you all to abstain get away from idolatrous practices and witchcraft why did he deal with that because i told you this has been god’s children’s problem
Since the beginning of time amen amen can i go a little further in acts chapter 17 and verses 16 paul saw when he came into an area that the whole city was given over to idolatry in romans chapter 2 and verses 16 in the day when god shall judge the
Secrets of men by jesus christ according to what my god wait a minute preacher you mean all of these secret things god is going to judge yes what is he going to judge them by he said the gospel the word of god amen see the bible says all scripture is given by
Inspiration of god and the prophet doctrine for correction for reproof for instruction and righteousness that the man of god may be complete throughly furnished unto every good work so the bible tells us everything we need to know amen in order to be wise unto salvation amen
And the bible says the bible this is why it’s so important to go by the bible not your family not traditional right not friendship right not relationship right not kennedy right but the bible amen because it is the bible the bible says that’s going to judge the secrets of me amen
You just keep on playing and fronting and acting like you just don’t understand just just take let that take you all the way to the day of judgment and see what you’re going to come out with jesus said to in john chapter 12 and verse 48 to those disciples who didn’t
Believe him he said the very words that you reject don’t be the same words that judge you in the last days man amen so you just keep on playing and act like you just can’t get it and understand what somebody is sharing with you in love amen amen in first corinthians
Chapter 6 in verses 9 through 10 the bible says idolaters will not inherit the kingdom of heaven paul why are you dealing with that again because paul knows what is the problem that is affecting god’s children this is an old demon in first corinthians chapter 8 in verse
1 paul addresses idolatry again i’m giving you so many scriptures that if you want to miss it after this if you do miss it and you really don’t have it together then god’s grace and mercy got you god amen in first corinthians chapter 10 verses 6 through 7 he said neither be ye
Idolaters you have to get away from this in first corinthians chapter 10 and verses 14 wherefore my dearly beloved flee run get away from my dollars amen but you see what some people are going to try to justify and that’s why i’m going to deal with this comprehensive amen
They they are going to try their best to justify staying in something that god said to flee from amen my bible told me that we cannot do anything against the truth but for the truth amen you see it is the truth even though truth is crushed to the
Ground set you free it rises back to the top amen in first corinthians chapter 10 and the verse is 20 but i say that the things with the gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to devils and not to god and i would not that ye should have fellowship with devils i told you
Some of us are trying our best to justify staying in something that is built on a weak foundation amen that is built on idolatrous practices that is built on rituals oaths that are built on the secrets of men you trying your best to still have fellowship in it
You’re trying your best to justify having fellowship in it now notice this is not just talking about well everywhere you go dejanette is sinful people everywhere don’t come here with that generalized myth to me paul said that in order to get away from sin you would have to leave this world
That’s not what he’s talking about right and that’s not what i’m talking about that’s right what he’s talking about is stuff that you paid money to get in large amounts of money you’ve volunteered to have your behind whip to get in and in some cases people have even been sodomized
To get in it with objects stuck into crevices of their body for initiation and hazing principles to get in for women i’m getting ahead of myself and dealing with some of the other stuff i’m going to deal with in the last in the next lesson i’m going to deal with this comprehension
And for some women and girls they have to go and sleep with the brothers and not just one but be put through the test be put through the test see this is why they don’t come back home and tell their mamas and daddies what it takes to get in it right
But they know what they’ve done to get in right and they know what they’ve done to get in right amen see they come back home and tell mom and daddy oh i found a good organization to get in and i’m let me let me let me say
This as i’m generating clothes i’m not saying i see somebody somebody want to find something to find a way to wiggle out to to undo all the other stuff that i’ve said in this message correct i’m not saying that every organization every fraternity or sorority is participatory of such actions right
Right that’s right i made it very clear that you know what you’ve done to get into these organizations right that you are not willing to tell but other folk today are and you can get it now through various sources and watch it and then even verify and validate it
With conversations from other people because see i’ve had i’ve had i’ve had conversations with all kind of people well how you know what you read is right how you know how you know how you know well you run reference you you vet the information you talk to multiple sources
You do a whole lot of things to vet the information right you listen to eyewitness testimony right you listen you listen to personal testimony of things that people have come out boldly and declared telling you what they’ve done and had to go through right but see these are people i told
You that’s not honest they’re not honest they’re looking for justification but your justification is not to the preacher your justification is not to the elder your justification is not to the deacon your justification is not to your family the justification to whom you have to prove yourself before is to the lord amen
Now as i close the bible goes on to tell us that you ought to have no fellowship with devils galatians chapter three and one paul asked the question when he was writing to the galatians listen at the terminology that he used who had bewitched you paul why are you using that terminology
I told you jesus understood the apostle paul understood and this was the contextual understanding of what has been plaguing man since the beginning of time that’s why i took you all the way back to genesis and i’ve brought you through every age patriarchal mosaic and now we’re in the christian age and
Now i’m gonna get ready to take you to the time of what judgment is going to take place and we’re going to conclude right there so you can’t get it no more comprehensive than that now this is just lesson one in our conclusion in revelations chapter 21 verses 7 and 8
I want you to listen attentively and carefully he that overcometh shall inherit all things overcome what overcome the conditioning of this world overcome the lust of this world overcome the allurements and seductions of this world and idolatry is a part of it yes and i and i will be his god
And he shall be my son but the fearful and unbelieving and the abominable and murderers and whoremongers and witches witchcraft and sorcerers and warlocks sorcerers and idolaters and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone which is the second death now i didn’t make this up
Now that’s just part one we’re gonna deal with part two and three and i’m going to go a little bit deeper into some information that you need to know so that you can unequivocally without a shadow of a doubt no if what you’re in is all right
Or if it is all wrong right that ain’t almost get up close to it just about it that’s it amen if you’re not a member of the church of christ what’s your name you need to be you need to be i’m here to tell you that one day
The trumpet is going to sound yes and all the dead shall be raised everybody is going to have to give an account yeah of their life and their deeds while on this side of life yes and you see showing up in that day on a shaky foundation no excuses is not
Going to be to your advantage you need to show up in that day going back to our text on a solid foundation amen for they all drink from that spiritual rock that followed them and that rock was christ but with many of them god was not well pleased
