Is coming east. The Fisk jubilee singers will perform at the Historic Grove Theater in Oak Ridge. The Fisk jubilee singers consists of students from the historically black college. The singer introduced what was called slave music to the world. In 1871.
Today, they bring music around the world. The event serves as a chance for one Austin graduate to return home and also inspire students who sit where she once sat. The high school that I graduated from sometimes has negative connotations associated with it. But I want to literally show everyone
That you can do whatever you put your mind to. It does not matter what odds are stacked against you. It does not matter what you did or didn’t do in high school. Great advice. This is the first time she gets to come back to East Tennessee as Miss
Fisk University tickets are $25 funds will go toward the upcoming Scarborough 85 monument. And tomorrow we’re gonna take you to that event and hear more from Miss Fisk.
