The national office of Order of Omega recently announced their 2023 scholarship recipients. UGA’s Gamma Pi chapter’s very own Claire Rohrer was selected to receive the Kent L. Gardner Scholarship. Recipients of this scholarship display leadership and service to their local chapter, fraternity and sorority community, and campus community.
Claire is a junior majoring in Finance and Management Information Systems that currently serves as the chapter’s Treasurer as well as the Chapter President of Gamma Phi Beta at UGA.
Claire shared, “I am beyond honored and grateful to be the recipient of the Kent L. Gardner Scholarship from the Order of Omega. It is truly humbling to receive recognition for my leadership and involvement within my Greek community. I would like to express my sincerest appreciation to Dr. Kent L. Gardner, Order of Omega’s Executive Director, for his unwavering dedication and service to the organization. The Order of Omega Scholarship and Fellowship program is an incredible initiative, and I am proud to be a part of a community that values and supports the pursuit of academic and personal excellence. This scholarship will undoubtedly assist me in achieving my academic and career goals, and I am honored to be recognized alongside other outstanding undergraduate Greek leaders, graduate students, and professionals pursuing doctoral degrees. I am excited to continue my involvement in the Greek community and make meaningful contributions to society.”
Chandler Crean, the Graduate Advisor for the chapter, said “We are proud to be able to recognize Claire for her outstanding work and excited to watch her continue to make a difference in the UGA, Athens, and Greek Life communities next year.”
