The church is in trouble and if I can be a little bit more specific and ethnic if I could and I will the black church is definitely in trouble we we are there’s a there’s a Code Blue code blue I mean we we’re we’re we’re we’re about to flight line

There there’s so much going on in the black church I can’t even shake a stick at it there’s so much there’s so much um from the from the obvious to the unobvious but once the unobvious Creeps in it seems to be too late because it comes in so stealthy tonight

I don’t believe it’s one of those nights somewhat um because there has been an exodus there has been an exodus of people Brothers and Sisters in Christ who have seen for themselves those things that they may have aligned themselves with that have pledged to God and His Grace has opened their eyes

To see it others maybe not hopefully by God’s grace maybe even after this this live and after this discussion but this will not be the last one I I pray that there’ll be more uh the the guests that I have on uh there was going to be more guests that

One sister and one brother uh one formally uh who denounced Delta the other brother in Christ still uh who currently and has stated that he is currently a member of of a fraternity and so what I want to do I want to have a conversation with both of these individuals to have

Them to share their experience their stories why they decided to denounce and why they have yet to denounce uh their their organization this would not be I’m going to say this now this will not be uh any attacking of another person’s you know character or nothing like that

We would we should be able to dialogue and I’ve already assured my guess that it will be that but we are going to talk we’re going to have a conversation I believe these are the kinds of conversations that the Bible says as iron sharpens iron so one man sharpens another and so

Um a time of iron sharpening a time of understanding all of that good stuff so without any further Ado I want to bring to the uh bring to the to the to the chat and actually those of you who may not know them but you will uh brother uh

Guests here what brings you on uh make sure nobody uh knows that I tried to you know hold y’all up at gunpoint and say I’m gonna take your kids or your or your dog or anything like that so uh uh you came on your own free will

Uh but nonetheless I I’m glad to have you all here so uh Brothers Avery I’ll start with you first man um let people know a little bit about yourself what made you uh what brings you here all right well first I want to say I am a resurrected uh believer and the finished

Works of Jesus Christ first so I just want to let that be stated but this conversation has been around many years uh from when I first joined uh my fraternity this has been a conversation uh like I said for many years and so I think this one is that needs to be

Had I think you know a lot of things can be said on both sides so and I’m not here to convince anybody that they need to stay with any particular organization uh but I think what I’ve been hearing that people have been demonized uh if they don’t so just want to have a

Conversation like you said and see what happens all right appreciate it and uh assistant Audrey what about yourself let people know a bit about yourself what brings you here and uh your goal and your desire of tonight’s uh discussion well thank you for having me uh my name

Is Audra I am originally from Georgia live in Tennessee now I’ve been here about 24 years and newlywed been married eight months today oh wow congratulations thank you congratulations thank you I um another place doctor back in April of 2000 I think this Saturday would be like

23 years up to the date wow so uh but I came out back in 2001 um October of 2001 is when I officially denounced publicly you know to the chapter and um I just had what I call a Suge Avery moment I uh I went through a

Divorce I’ve been married for 20 24 years 25 26 years and out you know just just saw the Lord through that and he just saw me through that divorce and just revealed a lot of things to me I turned 50 right after I got divorced and threw myself a huge birthday party one

Of my sorority sisters and everybody came and we do and Delta you do the Sweetheart song and then you know we throw up the the little weird thing and um just a year later just looking at those pictures and something just that’s where I had that moment that shook what

I call my sugar every moment you know for a minute because I had aoml at the bottom you know that means all of my love and I thought okay this is not right so um and at that time I had just joined a group called Celebrate Recovery

My husband my ex-husband was a you know a drug add and all and so I uh because I had issues being you know in that for so long I’ve joined celebrate recovery and I was going through a step study so in that step study is where I discovered my

Character defects so I was looking within me and I just asked the Lord to show me to work on me show me what was not of him I didn’t want to be doing anything that was not of him and when I had that moment that’s when I I said Okay so

And it’s just a video popped up on my maybe a week or two later A video popped up on my um screen about where sororities and fraternities started and I didn’t look at it I I was like I don’t want to see that and then maybe a week or two later it

Came back the very same video came back this time I listened to it and when I listened to what I said oh my goodness so that started my journey of searching exactly where did this this stuff start where did this stuff come from who am I serving who actually is this Minerva

Person because I would see it on you know on the little shield and I just thought it I don’t know what it was really I never asked because I thought it was dumb for me to ask because I was supposed to know but uh just started this journey and I just

Decided I told the Lord I’m done I’m out I’m out so I I melt uh before the chapter I denounced before my church and then I denounced uh publicly on Facebook and then I sent my letter to the national headquarters and on December 31st of 2021 I was officially out

Wow so let me ask you this question let me just start with you then Audra what what is so significant about the the announcing you know uh for those who may not know or for those who are you know um you know curious about we hear people say denounce and denounce and denouncing

Yeah I’ve never polarized to uh to a fraternity my wife never played us to a sorority but uh when we have seen these videos these announcement videos from from you know former you know uh members of these fraternities and sororities we’ve always heard them you know make those same statements and the processes

If not in order but nonetheless they have covered all bases whether they’ve done it you know first you know with the organization or or whether it privately and then publicly but nonetheless they went through seemed like they’ve gone through all of those different you know uh processes or steps of the

Annunciation so why is that in your opinion I guess I’m just asking you why is that so why is that significant is there any significance to that uh yes it is and uh when I denounced in front of the chapter I went to a chapter meeting and I denounced in front of them

The president stated when I was done she stated well you know we appreciate you coming to do this but you didn’t owe us this you didn’t you did and I stopped her right there I said okay I’m gonna stop you right now and I said and I reminded them

Of our uh what is it probate coming out when we came out now I pledge an alumni chapter I did not pledge in college um my pledge you know after so we didn’t have the you know the big probate thing but we did have a celebration so I

Reminded her of that or reminded all of them of that what we did how we celebrated and from there on you know I had my my letters on during every day wearing it to church I put it on my car uh good grief I had it on everything so

I let everyone know that I was a Delta wanted everyone to know that I was a Delta this is what I am now well that’s the same thing with coming out I and I said this to them I do not want anyone to associate me being a member of

Delta Sigma Theta I do not want them to see see me as that first I want just to see me as the woman who loves Christ as a woman in Christ as someone who loves Christ who who strives to do my best to be likewise that’s what I want you to

See remember see me ask first not be able to associate me with Delta Sigma Theta so just as loud as I came in I’m going even louder out wow amazing amazing yeah I was told I was doing too much but okay well I’m just curious who told you that

You were doing too much I guess a few people are just you know certain ones if you don’t mind me asking uh yeah um yeah a few people a few people yeah okay you know gotcha gotcha no I appreciate that so uh Xavier I wanted to

Ask you uh had you had your your mic muted because a little bit of feedback in the background so let me uh I’ll meet you real quick there okay so is everyone to ask you man um okay so tell us a little bit about your um you know you’re

Currently a a Kappa is that correct I’m gonna make sure I have the right fraternity you know identify you’re a captain yes okay and when when did you pledge back 1889 32 years 1989 okay all right so tell us a little bit I guess about you know um

Your your your current experience and involvement as a capital but I do continue to have a friendship with uh the guys that I pledge with and their media lines surrounded me we should get a fellowship together from time to time the reason why I say that uh I did

Pledge as an undergraduate like I said I was 19 years old and so I live uh I was a campus Capital at that time but the things I did as an undergraduate you know for most of us uh who and most of all my line Brothers we all play as

Undergrads so when we left that undergraduate life we left pretty much that behind also in terms of what that meant because I’m gonna be the first to tell you a Hellenistic undergraduate life was not conducive for marriage our church so I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t shop

Okay could you break that down what you meant by that meeting uh if you’re a young freak like I was uh partying and everything else that went along with that uh that was conducive for any type of family in life any type of church life at all so I’ll

Be the first to admit okay and yet you had broke up at the beginning of your talk so I wanted to make sure that we that everyone heard you so at the beginning I had asked the question um regarding your your involvement as a as a as a Kappa so

You’re currently you play us in 1989 you said correct yes okay and you’re currently I mean you’re still you still associated with the what the organization with the fraternity Frontline brothers and the media Alliance Brown okay so when you say Fellowship I guess what do you mean by that meaning uh

Or go to the one of my attorney Brothers they have in the cookout when I go to their house once or twice a month so I still talk to the people for I pledge are people who are surrounded on flies okay you had mentioned you had mentioned

Earlier that uh you were saying that you felt that people have demonized you’re saying what fraternities and sororities are demonizing you not me personally I think the one you had two weeks ago uh it was almost like you all were D anybody who refused to denounce you know we

We was living in unrepented sin or Sinners or even yet not even safe so and I think I made the comment you know that’s when I identified myself it said you know there’s a lot of misunderstanding and what’s the misunderstanding so we’re clear what because if there’s misunderstanding I think the purpose for

This this channel is for people to have a a Biblical understanding regarding the origins of of uh organizations and Societies or secret societies that is outside of outside of the uh outside of Christianity so if there’s anything that’s being misunderstood I believe this is the opportunity for you to make make

Clarification for that okay well I’m not here to once again I’m not interested uh any any organization but like I I said it I think in the chat that my organization is not a Christian organization that doesn’t promote itself as a Christian organization never has

So and I think uh from your last one even with the uh the college the uh trying to blame like the Masons you know he was trying to compare or say assembly but there’s no similarity we don’t have temples we don’t meet at temples uh it’s worth it so on although we do

Have Jason right that we did in secret there’s nothing else uh to us that is similar to amaze would you say that there’s so you’re saying that they don’t you know you don’t have a temple or surroundings like that but what about the the origins of each fraternity and sorority do they do

They have uh Greek gods or goddesses that they that they pledge and give rituals make rituals and and pray to and worship too no you said no then for me my so you’re saying that Captain you saying that Kappa you say you’re saying that Kappa Alpha Psi does not have does not

Have a a a Greek god that they pledge to at all I’m sorry yes I’m saying that okay so let me let me do this then because again if that’s the case I want to make sure we have the information that’s that’s available so your your fraternity

Um you say this is uh it’s Kappa Alpha Psi right yes all right so I want to make sure that I I present the information correctly and if it’s not then I think this is opportunity for you to to rebutt it but this is why I had also

Asked you the question about did you bring your your ritual book because you said that you have a copy of it and uh that way we can compare uh in contrast whatever is basically being stated to be the truth so you’re saying that there are no Greek

Gods that that that Kappa Alpha Psi um pledges to give rituals to I.E praise to that’s that’s your that’s your that’s your definite statement right say it again that is my state okay so in page 14 of your ritual book the sacred delphic Shrine what is that so that’s referring to us trying

But you said you don’t have you don’t have temples and things of that nature even though that’s that that doesn’t matter but I mean but you’re you’re you’re your fraternity does have gods that they pledge to that they give make rituals to in I.E worship and you say that they don’t

So are you actually a Kappa and you crossed and all of that yes sir Okay so it says quote the altar of the altar of Kappa Alpha Psi which is the sacred delphic Shrine shall be placed in the center of the room and covered with the crimson and cream coverlet page 14 of

Your ritual book do you recall that yeah go right ahead sir we did not follow every tenant of what is Rick dinners um so if we just did that so were you did you pledge your loyalty to the fraternity yes or no so at that time I did but that is irrelevant then

Well it is relevant if Xavier is used you’re defending your fraternity I’m not defending my fraternity that so what I’m saying is capacity relevant at this point is because I told you I pledged back in 1989 I got saved and um 1991. so whatever I did in my past

Has no relevance in it have you denounced the fraternity what I have to because I believe Jesus died for me on that cross for my sins and he rose from the dead and through that I am safe so if you’re telling me that I have to do something extra then

You’re telling me that there is an insufficiency in what I did and that my salvation is based on something else Xavier do you recall the conversation you and I had via text message do I need to do I need to read it to you or do you do you have the

You can read it to me okay well let me allow me to speak because you said in the text message that you wanted to have this discussion because you made it made the claim that people who are still uh currently Associated or those who have still uh have not denounced

Fraternities and sororities they’re being demonized you said that we are demonizing you said we’re presenting misinformation that was your word so what misinformation is being presented because I’m reading from your ritual book so once again get everything you say about that again once I declare My Confession of faith that’s Nolan boy

But you but you what you said is you identify yourself as a Capper you said that so I did and the only reason why I did because once again I said this discussion really does need to happen and if you recall I said you know I’m not here to whatever uh what’s Andrea

Yes is she denounced that’s fine I have no problems with that everybody has a right to do whatever they want to but I’m saying some you’re saying that if we don’t denounce I’ve already made my confession if I have to do something extra and if I don’t do that extra then I’m an

Error when all I’m saying is I’ve already made my faith of confession so what that does should be sufficient and it is sufficient but again Xavier you’re the one that method go ahead says Audrey go right ahead go right ahead please and you may let me speak a little bit

Louder make sure everybody can hear you go right ahead okay um well I did pledge to another God and that God was that goddess is Minerva on page 18 of the of the ritual book yes may the god of wisdom peace and love go with you and abide with you all always

On page 27 it says Minerva the goddess of wisdom Bears the torch Atop The Shield um it says that Minerva is where is that at I missed it my number is who who guides Us in wisdom and knowledge so I did pledge um to a God I did

I did you know give my life to a God and what the Lord showed me was that on Judgment Day and I got attacked by demons I was at my best friend’s house um I going to another friend’s birthday party and I was at my best friend’s

House and I got attacked by a demon that night and um what the Lord showed me was that on Judgment Day I’m saying I have done everything to be saved I believe that the Lord that Christ died for my sins and he rose again I believe that I trust that but

What the Lord showed me was that Satan said but on April 8th of 2000 she wrote her name she knelt before um The Altar for Delta Sigma Theta and wrote her name in that book so therefore she belongs to me that’s what the Lord showed me

That’s when I said I was done okay Lord I’m done I’m out so yes you have pledged to uh something else if you do not denounce if you do not come out of that yeah you you are in danger your soul is in danger I mean you we can believe that believe

That um you know Christ died for us we know that but if you are if you have not denounced if you have not renounced if you have not given that up because the Lord said I don’t want to show I want don’t want anything else before me now

For years I thought that before me would meant one two three four five that’s not what that means he don’t want to see it he don’t want it beside him in front of him behind him around him he only want to see it so if you do not denounce if

You are still a part of that you your soul is in danger and that’s what the Lord told me Satan will will say to you on Judgment Day she signed her name over to me so that’s when I decided no I’m coming out of this um David Jesus says yeah please go right

In sure sure yes so what you’re telling me that that I was a sinner and that I believe Jesus died on the cross for me and through his resurrection that I might have everlasting life that I need to do something else in addition to that is that’s what you all are

Telling me here’s what I here’s what I’m telling you here’s what I’m telling you Xavier I’m saying that repentance is an outward work of an inner reality okay let me give you a scripture I’m just going to give you one I’m just going to give you one Acts chapter 19. Paul

Uh matter of fact let me give you the context of it and I want to make sure everybody hears me on this one Acts chapter 19 and I’ll start at verse 14. seven sons of skeva a Jewish priest Matthew were doing this in this in the

Evil spirit answered and said to them I recognize Jesus because they were they were casting out supposedly casting out demons under under pretense and and the evil spirit said an answer to them I recognize Jesus and I know about Paul but who are you and the man in whom was

The evil spirit leaped on them and subdued all of them and overpowered them so that they fled out in that house of that house naked and wounded this became known to all both Jews and Greeks who lived in Ephesus and fear and fear fell upon them all and the name of the Lord

Jesus was being magnified Verse 18 verse 18 Xavier many also of those who had believed who had believed kept coming confessing and disclosing their practices did you hear that Xavier I heard that okay it says many who had believed who came to Faith in Jesus Christ kept coming confessing and disclosing

Their practices so one of the signs of repentance was renouncing and denouncing and verse 19 says and many of those who practice magic brought their books together and began burning them in the sight of everyone and they counted up the price of them and found it 50 000 pieces of silver so

That’s just one okay that’s just one if you’re saying that uh uh denouncing or renouncing is not important or it’s not is not a sign of genuine repentance or it shouldn’t be a sign of General repentance then you’re gonna have to argue with a few other

Attacks other than Acts 19 verses 18 and 19. you got to argue with first Thessalonians you have to argue with that all right what Paul says that we renounce those things hidden so as a Christian why would you want to identify yourself with something a matter of fact

Jesus says we’re of delight run out of the darkness matter of fact light and darkness don’t don’t occupy the same space therefore if we’re Salt and Light then we are to be different from our our neighbors we are to be different from our unsaved uh counterparts so again I’m

Just I’m just asking you the question because I’m not I’m not here to uh to try to make you you know do anything that’s the spirit’s job but what I want to do is to make and make sure you understand that number one I’m not here

To attack I’m not here to demonize I don’t believe anybody has done that what we are doing or what what I strive to do is expose the enemy’s works and one of the ways he works is through deception uh one of the ways he works is through minimizing those things that are an

Offense to God so if if your if your ritual book has a false god you said it doesn’t but it does I’m looking right at it so either either you’re you are a Kappa or you’re lying no offense I’m just saying because it can’t be it can’t be either it can’t be

It can be both you’re telling me once again Lawrence I’ve made my confession that I have to do something that so basically telling me that there is no sufficiency in what Jesus did because that’s not what I’m saying that I have to do something else in addition to what I’ve already done

So that it can show that I am safe that’s what you’re saying Xavier let me let me ask you this question let me ask you this question do you know what repentance means what is what is repentance repentance change the one’s mind yeah hold on brother hold on brother let’s

Let’s all I’m asking you is you’re gonna gave you only gave one aspect don’t stop there you stop okay can I say something here yeah cause he’s not go ahead all right um in the initiation ceremony this is what um the president reads as Soros we now take up our solemn

Obligation to bond qualified candidates to commitments from which they may never be freed my sorrows let us affirm the words of our sacred trust so we may never be freed it is to follow us to judgment is what it said so I want to know why I can never be freed

From this that that was my concern in this what do you mean never be freed so this is when the Lord showed me that I signed my name on April 8th of 2000 in the book of Delta I signed my name over to Satan I signed my soul over to Satan

So again let me let me let me ask uh let me see if Xavier wants to finish your start you said metronome means change your mind what else does it mean uh Xavier all right so Matthew Lord it changes one’s mind so and we’re gonna and I’m gonna put it

In context of the pledge so say I can see that I that I pledge to a great God all right at the moment that I decided that I was gonna take my confession of faith and believe that Jesus rose from the dead through that I have everlasting life or that I

May have everlasting like at that point I was grounded repentance and therefore I am safe so anything I did before that it’s a done deal so let me ask this question did Paul the Apostle Paul ever openly in uh confessed that he was a killer yes he did yeah okay so show it

To me oh you don’t know it okay no problem through to make sure he wrote he wrote Timothy too he wrote Timothy too let me read it for you I’m glad you asked that question let’s go ahead and go there um I’m not gonna share the screen

Because I don’t want to I don’t want it to um to mess up I think I do have it but I don’t want to take any chances on knocking anybody out but I’ll I’ll just go ahead and just read it and um that way people just happen to listen in but

It’s in first Timothy chapter one let’s just start there all right verse 12. I think Christ Jesus our lord who has strengthened me because he considered me faithful put him into service even though I was formerly a blasphemer a persecutor and a violent Trent and a violent aggressor yet I was shown Mercy

Because I acted ignorantly in unbelief and the grace of our Lord was more than abundant with the faith and love which are found in Christ Jesus it is a trustworthy statement deserving full acceptance that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners of whom I am foremost of all yet for

This reason I had I was found mercy so that in me as the foremost Jesus Christ might demonstrate his perfect patience as an example for those who would believe in him for eternal life now to the king Eternal Immortal invisible the only God the honor and Glory forever and ever amen

So he talks about his past life he said he said what he did to the church and matter of fact you have you have Philippians chapter 3 he talks about it there uh he talks about it in Galatians so your question was what still the same Seiko I’ve already

Acknowledged that I’m a senator I’m already acknowledged that I did ungodly things but wait a minute wait wait wait wait would you ask me the question hold on you asked you asked me the question did Paul ever say that he repented or that what he did he had he had killed

Christians or a part of murdering Christians and that is ready to you so what was your question what was your point asking that question once again so he acknowledged his wrongdoing I also acknowledge my wrong daughter but you had asked the question as though he didn’t you had asked that question on

The premise that you that she was assuming that he didn’t and I just showed it to you so what was your purpose of asking the question what’s the same it’s still the same if he acknowledge no that’s not what you said publicly publicly publicly he did so once again I’ve already acknowledged my

Rules but you’re identifying that you’re still identifying with it with a fraternity though Xavier that’s my point I think that’s the concern of everybody if you’re claiming if you’re claiming that you’ve you’ve confessed your sins that’s like saying if you confess your sins for cheating on your wife but you still creeping

Number one I’ll say if I would have never took no one knows or I don’t identify walk around but paraphernal I don’t walk around with anything that identifies me as a capital matter of fact when I teach preach when I do anything I never identify myself as a captain at all but

You did the only reason why just listen to me there’s a reason why because once again what I heard was if you don’t denounce if you don’t Dean out because once again a lot of people who have moved on who who truly like myself who is who are saved moved on we don’t

To her as loud as I came in and I’m gonna go out you know even louder because what we were doing it was wrong um now I had to leave my church because my church was uh full of I was in the choir and uh the choir director

Was uh AKA and she stood up and you know in front of everybody I denounced that church probably a month or so before a couple of months before and she stood up and said that her I don’t even know why she said this her sorority does not come

First God comes first in her life so of course I had to confront her after that you know why are you everybody knew you was talking to me because I’m the only person who everything now the the choir was full of deltas and akas and sigmas

Or whatever so why are you saying that but no I was just talking about me I was just so I had to leave the church after that because it it was a big falling out and then out sometime after I lived in the pastor poses he pulls up it comes

Across my feet he posed with uh some omegas he’s not an Omega but he posed with them in the church I guess they had a q day in the church or something I don’t know wow so yeah so uh um but otherwise you know when I I see someone you know they’ll speak

I haven’t had because they they know they know me then they know you know anything I say you don’t have to worry about somebody coming back to tell you because I’ve already told you are you one of them sisters you’re one of them okay that’s right okay

Um oh I’m I’m just gonna be all drama be me so you know that’s up to you whether you speak or not you can keep it short if you want to that’s fine you know that’s fine but uh there have been some who have distanced themselves and um I

Had one to call me um when I put my letter up on uh the letter that I received from from nhq I got the letter on December 31st but I didn’t know I had it until the day before Founders Day founders day is January 13th so I just happened to be in

My emails trying to clear out my emails and I saw the letter I didn’t know I had it so I posted it saying that you know I literally came into 22 you know fresh and new yeah told me I needed to take it down wow why

Are you doing this you need to take it down I’m afraid for you or what’s gonna happen with nhq well I’m not afraid of uh recorders so no I’m not taking it down this is what the Lord told me to do so I’m not taking it down

And I didn’t I left it up so how has your has your faith how has your faith grown I guess uh were there any moments of Doubt any moments of like you know hesitancy or anything like that I mean when you when you knew you just knew

That was it you just had to tap out I was just slow about coming out what happened um I was getting ready to have my first grandbaby wow and uh she was born in October so I told the president I can’t do Delta Academy until January I’m not

Gonna do it until January but she my grandbaby that was the excuse I used I’ll say that um I didn’t um I didn’t want to do it but then in January I started working with Delta Academy and I loved absolutely loved working with Delta Academy so then I’m

Thinking okay well well Lord this is what I’ll do I’ll just you know come back next year and train the next person or how to do it right because I love them to Academy I did a lot of stuff with it I mean a lot and I wanted it

Done right so I’m gonna train the next person that’s when I got attacked by the demons wow yeah so and you actually I mentioned so you mentioned you’re married right I wanted to make sure I acknowledge your husband as well too so you’re married correct yes okay how how

Has uh so when you were you were so were you a sorrow when you worked I’m assuming he was a sir when you were married too right am I correcting the dates on that or you mean my first marriage or this uh this one now you you had you had a

Denounced in 2021 you said right when I met him I was on my way out okay each other I was on my way out okay okay so so uh how did he I guess how did he you know respond to all of this I mean uh because he knew that you were at

First and then you was on your way out at the time as well too well he didn’t under he didn’t understand it he didn’t know I mean he knew about Trump but he didn’t get it we had some friends um we’re both from the same Hometown

Um and uh he had some friends to come up to meet me even though I knew those friends because of I played basketball in high school but I didn’t know those friends you know I knew who they were they knew who I was we were we went out

To eat and one of the uh sorority sisters was there as I was leaving I made the Delta call to her um you know even though I was on my way out I still made the Delta call to her when we got home uh later on that night he said

In the world was that you what kind of sound was that you was making you know you were saying so he’s like that was a blood call or call or something oh man it’s a game or something immediately my cousin Jason came to my mind I’ve been I was in Delta for 21

Years every time I would go back home and I run into my cousin Jason he would say to me have you come out of that gang yet are you still in that gang I see you still in that gang every time you know

Jason I’m not in a gang I am not in the game so it wasn’t until then that I realized oh my gosh this red this is an organized game man yeah it wasn’t until my well he was my fiance at that time was it because he was a what in the world so

Yeah well see again this is why I think uh conversation like this are important and then I think I would say this I’m pretty sure you’re able to see clearer now that the Lord has removed the blinders you know completely huh yeah I mean I I even

I see a whole bunch of things differently I see the world differently I see it from a Biblical standpoint I I mean I political views are completely different now everything is just different wow wow so it’s like what Paul says if any man be in Christ he’s a

New creation old things have passed away behold All Things become new yes and so I do want to touch on something that um that uh Xavier said please please something about the Masons that is not part of that um now before I met my husband I was I’d

Gone out with a guy and he said to me in another friend of mine who is also getting ready to denounce he said to us and I didn’t quite understand what he meant until I started listening to to denouncing videos he said um so both of y’all are deltas and yeah okay well

If you uh you need to get an understanding of where it came from and I said what uh what do you mean he said y’all ever thought about becoming an Eastern Star and she and I both looked at each other I said no I’m not interested in that then why are you a

Delta what I didn’t I didn’t get what he was a connection yeah yeah yeah he said well until you’re an Eastern Star until you decide to do that you won’t even understand where Delta came from and so we just I was like okay I had no idea what he meant until I started

Listening to all the denouncement videos oh my gosh this is connected to masonry I learned as a kid that Masons were not of God they used to we had a huge parades um when I was growing up and at the end of the parade these little the

Men would ride in these little cars and I learned then it was a Shriners or whatever they were those men were not of God what they’re doing they think they’re of God but they’re not I learned that as a kid so when I understood that Deltas that all all of them are

Connected to Mason Ronaldo yeah no I’m out of this wow that see again and so so like you had mentioned you know you had said that or no Xavier was acting as though Freemasons are not interconnected with fresh and sorrows and I had two brothers on last week that that that showed the

The connection and even sometimes the overlap between those those two you know organizations and whatever and so again you know I try to give people opportunity to to to defend or clarify or either you know Amanda whatever their their positions and and um and hopefully again I hope

And pray that people will be able to um to be able to have dialogue and conversations like this especially those who are in it you know saying we I know people I got family members who are still a part of this stuff you know they

They know how I’m moving how I get down as far as these things but you know but if I got your it’s like if I have your Bible or your beliefs you know your system of beliefs and I’m reading it to you and I’m asking you is this true no

It’s not true wait a minute okay so are you saying that the document isn’t lie oh no I’m not saying I’m saying well what are you saying they’re like I’m a Christian and you’re reading to me the scriptures now unless unless you’re twisting it then I can I can contest

That but if you’re not then it seems to me there’s some disingenuousness with with this with with what you know uh with what Xavier was saying let’s let’s move on a little bit and then we’ll we’ll touch on a few other points and then I won’t hold you too long but

You had mentioned your church was um were they were they affiliated with the fraternity sorority or did they welcome France and sororities what was their what was the reason why you decided to leave the church how long were you there and what was the impetus and what uh what’s precipitated you to leave

Oh I’ve been there a while um I don’t know probably since like 2007 or eight I think um we yeah we have several in the church who are members of the sorority but um we would have days where the Deltas would go come to church or um like the akas hail their meetings

There the chapter meetings there um and I think the sigmas did too I’m not they had some kind of stuff going on but um I I after the incident with the with uh the choir director is what when I decided to leave we were um because it

Was just like everybody was just the not everybody just a couple her and a couple more were just against me like the Church secretary I was trying to set my date for my wedding or reserve the the Life Center for the wedding she went to Holland and screaming at me about it and

That’s because she and the other the other friend whom I said I had to have a long conversation with she and the choir director they’re all like this so I don’t understand why she was yelling at me and I had to you know confront her

About that I had to call her and I you you never had an ill word for me why are you yelling and screaming at me I don’t understand this so I just knew you know the the uh the atmosphere had become hostile and I knew that there was just no way I was

Going to be able to stay wow there was there was there was this no I was going to be able to stay after after all of that happened she got up and said what she said I I I couldn’t stay and then the you know the pastor of course

Will will be here if you need us is what he said to me oh it’s like that okay okay I think we know what that means let me ask you let me ask you this question and I wanted to play a clip real quick and get your reaction to this but

One of the uh one of the chants I’ve heard Delta saying correct me for wrong I’m not trying to take it too too far back but they’ll say what is a Delta is that they’ll say what is a delta or something like that and an adult is something

That’s such an ain’t and it’s like they would they would they would praise themselves or put themselves on a pedals to be above other sororities so it seemed like it was more so like competition or or people uh that were in these that are in these groups that

Would uh look down on other you know sororities and and things of that nature I’m not sure if if you you know recall or ever remember any of those types of uh any of those types of uh chants that have been you know have been uttered before

Yeah they all do that all of them do that yeah what is a Delta Delta is what a I don’t know the whole thing yeah yeah like something that I didn’t want to be with a cue can’t get enough of I don’t know yeah yeah yeah okay because I because I

Was reading I was reading this book and actually I’ll tell people uh I can tell people where where to find it it’s actually the book called African-American fraternities the Legacy in the in division uh African-American fraternities and sororities the Legacy and and division um for people who will try to act as

Though this man don’t know what he’s talking about it’s it’s field of footnotes and receipts and documentations I mean it’s it’s it’s it’s jam-packed and it’s it’s very uh it’s a very good read um I’m still reading some of it now but he goes into the history of the different you know

Um organizations the frats and the Soros uh the founders and things of that nature and uh and how a lot of these a lot of these these uh the divine nine is is so intermesh with churches and I’m like it’s like it’s like it’s a way of life

And and and to contest what what Xavier had said I know for a fact especially when it comes to fraternities and and and uh and the uh Freemasons if you’re part of one of those groups and somebody dies they’re coming to your funeral and they’re gonna they want to have an

Opportunity to speak and and to basically have a have a you know a platform to to uh I guess you can say to eulogize that that quote-unquote brother right right so when I when I sent my I sent an email out to my former line sisters just before I walked into the uh

Chapter meeting because I didn’t want to tell them ahead of time because one of my um one of my line sisters mother is heavy into it so I didn’t want you know anything to get out beforehand well afterwards I get an email from the lead of the Minerva Circle when I pledged and

In that email she told me that uh it was unfortunate as your sister in Christ and your you know sorrow I just want to let you know that if you do not want the Omega Mega service done at your funeral then you need to make sure your will is updated what

Is what she told me really yeah my whole response was I wish y’all would first of all you got to deal with my four children and now you got to deal with my new husband so I always y’all wow pull up if you want to huh yeah my husband

Not gonna let that but those those four children of mine yeah yeah you’re not getting past none of them what are they what are the ages by the way what are the ages um Miranda is 30. we’re in his 30s Dan is uh 20 no no no Miranda’s 31. gosh the girl just

Turned 31. Stan is 29. Sierra is 28 and Caleb just turned 25. wow a blessing so I want to get your reaction that none of them are members of any sorority or fraternity and this is how I know this stuff you don’t need that stuff you just don’t need it because

They they all received a full scholarship to college all four of them just got out got their college paid for it had nothing to do with the sorority all of them got jobs and nothing to do with sorority or fraternity but that’s what the fraternity promises you know

That or you know that’s the that’s the uh I don’t know that’s you know what they say the benefits yeah well that didn’t help me when I when I needed a job it didn’t help me really wow wow well let me do this let’s let’s

Uh I want to get a reaction when he was talking about the church and uh actually I’m gonna give everyone the uh the disclaimer this is the former church that my wife and I family we had attended and we had decided to leave before things got bad and it’s getting worse

And I’ll I’ll address that uh local and uh sometime tomorrow but I want to get your reaction to this and and and tell me how would you respond if you were to uh to see this and I wanted to give a quick shout out to the Zetas and I’m

Would leave church and you know I know the AKA that was uh theirs we would leave church going to a sorority meeting or going to especially when initiation what’s going on yes yeah leave church for that wow now so let me let me ask you this question then because I believe that

Some people would say um well what would you what would you say to those who um will say you know what sister or brother you know I this it’s hard to find a church out here nowadays and you leave me a church for that you’re leaving your church over

Just a you know fraternity or I mean what what’s the I mean you ain’t got to be a part of it you don’t have to you you know you don’t have to play as to what I mean why why would you leave a church if they preaching the word and if

They’re and if they’re you know going out and making disciples and stuff but you know so what they’re they’re tied to a fraternity or whatever what would be your response to your your comment you know to those who may be you know um taking what we’re saying is being you

Know over the top and and not all that important or serious okay so what I said to the former choir members who called me and told me I needed to come back uh I sang in the choir singing is what I do the director of the choirs and AKA

There’s no way I could stay there and because singing is what I do there’s no way I could stay there and let her direct acquire and I know she’s in error I I can’t stay under that it was I you know my spirit would not the law would

Not allow me to stay under that yeah and know and know that she’s in Era she’s directed the choir I couldn’t do it the Lord wouldn’t let me do it and you know the first time my um husband went with me to church when we were dating I said to him and I

Don’t even remember what was going on what made me say this to him I don’t know how much longer I’m going to be at this church I don’t know why I said that but I don’t know what was going on but I know I was dealing with the sorority

You know leaving the sorority and I said to him I don’t know how much longer I’m going to be at this church because your spirit was being grieved and vexed and things like that I’m assuming I bet I figured I figured it would be

Um so we about to wrap up I wanted to just uh with two things number one I wanted to thank you for being a part of this uh of this you know discussion I told you it was going to be easy I told you that

I told you once you got going you’ll be I tell you once you get in the pocket you’ll be good to go um but you know aside from the little hiccup we had at the initial uh first hour I guess you can say you know I
