Investing in Leaders: Why Your Gift Matters More Than Ever

The Phi Delta Theta Foundation is not just funding scholarships—it’s shaping futures, building leaders, and creating opportunities that ripple across generations. In 2025, we awarded over $674,000 in scholarships and grants, but behind every dollar is a story of transformation, perseverance, and leadership.

Your Impact in Action

  • First-Generation Scholarships – $254,800
    • These awards empower students who are the first in their families to attend college. For many, this is more than financial aid—it’s a lifeline and a vote of confidence in their potential.
  • Undergraduate & Graduate Support – $300,000+
    • From easing tuition burdens to supporting advanced degrees, your gift helps members focus on academics and leadership rather than financial stress.
  • Whole Man Scholarships and Harrison President’s Scholarships – $101,802
  • Chapter Leadership Funds – $20,000+
    • Money that helps chapter fund educational expenses, such as improvements to educational spaces in their chapter house, travel to conferences, educational speakers for their chapters and campuses, small academic and GPA based awards.

The Momentum Is Real

  • 1,146 scholarship applications received this year—a record-breaking number and a testament to growing need, as we only had 619 awards to give out.
  • Five-year growth: From 388 applications in 2021 to 1,146 in 2025. Demand is rising, and so is our commitment.
  • Eighteen new scholarships and leadership funds launched in 2025, expanding opportunities for chapters nationwide.

Voices of Gratitude

“As a first-generation college student, this scholarship means more to me than a simple grant of money—it is an emblem of inspiration and shared faith that education can change lives.”

Santiago Castillo-Lara, Wichita State ’28

“Phi Delta Theta has been a home to me since I stepped foot on campus. They have proven time and time again that they are committed to helping me become a better man.”

Tung Ngo, Dalhousie ’26

“The network I built through Phi Delta Theta has been one of the greatest assets in my career. The connections I made opened doors to job opportunities, mentorship, and friendships that will last a lifetime.”

Sushank R. Soma, Nova Southeastern

Why Give Now?

The need is growing, as applications have tripled in five years, and your gift multiplies impact by ensuring that scholarships do more than fund education—they help build leaders who strengthen chapters, communities, and careers.

Looking Ahead

Your support will help us:

  • Expand First-Generation Scholarships to reach even more students.
  • Grow leadership programs like Kleberg Emerging Leaders Institute and McKenzie Family Presidents Conference.
  • Launch new funds that honor legacy and inspire future generations.

Join Us in Building the Future

When you give to the Phi Delta Theta Foundation, you’re not just donating—you’re investing in leadership, character, and lifelong success. Together, we can ensure that every member has the opportunity to thrive.
