Join Us in Kansas City on May 27 as Bobby Witt Jr. Receives the Lou Gehrig Memorial Award
Bobby Witt Jr. of the Kansas City Royals has won this year’s Lou Gehrig Memorial Award, sponsored by Phi Delta Theta. The Fraternity presents the award annually to a Major League Baseball player who best exemplifies the giving character of Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig. The award was first presented in 1955 and is permanently maintained at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York.
A team of representatives from Phi Delta Theta will present the award to Witt on Wednesday, May 27, prior to the Royals’ 6:40 p.m. game against the New York Yankees. Phi Delta Theta will also join the Live Like Lou Foundation and the Permobil Foundation on the field for a special presentation to an ALS family.
A ticket block has been reserved in Sections 211 and 212. Tickets are $50 each, and ADA seats are available for purchase. All tickets are sold at face value. This event is open to the public, so please invite your friends and family!
