Why did you choose Phi Delta Theta?
I chose Phi Delta Theta because I strongly connected with its cardinal principles of Friendship, Sound Learning, and Rectitude. I wanted to be part of an organization where everyone is like-minded and constantly striving to become the best version of themselves.
What has Phi Delt taught you about yourself?
Phi Delta Theta has taught me how much I can accomplish when I truly put my mind to something. At the beginning of college, I never imagined I would achieve as much as I have today, but Phi Delt gave me opportunities to grow in ways I never expected. It showed me that I could make a real impact on others and on my community.
What are your key involvements or leadership roles—in the chapter and on campus?
Some of my key involvements and leadership roles include serving as a teaching assistant for organic chemistry, a lab assistant for anatomy, and the lead research assistant for my research group with Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine. Within the chapter, I have also served as both philanthropy chair and vice president.
Are you an Iron Phi? If so, tell us about it.
I’m currently halfway to achieving Iron Phi status, but along the way, I’ve also helped countless brothers in my chapter work toward and achieve that goal themselves.
What’s a sport or hobby you’re passionate about outside of school?
Outside of school, I enjoy working out and taking time to relax whenever my schedule allows. Since my schedule is usually hectic, I appreciate opportunities to go on adventures like hiking, sightseeing, and exploring new places.
What’s a memorable Phi Delt moment or experience you’d want to share?
One of my most memorable Phi Delt experiences was working on our annual Miss Athena Pageant. After months of hard work without immediately seeing results, it was incredibly rewarding to see everything come together on the day of the event. It was even more meaningful to receive accolades, awards, and invitations connected to the Lou Gehrig Memorial Award, because that was when I realized how much of an impact I had truly made.

What advice would you give to other Phi Delts or men considering joining?
My advice to other Phi Delts or men considering joining is to never be afraid to try something new. If I had never stepped outside of my comfort zone, I would have missed out on many of the experiences that shaped who I am today. Some of the greatest growth comes from simply taking the first step and seeing what you’re capable of accomplishing.
