Well, I think it’s important that our students at Texas A&M understand the impact that our Divine Nine, our Black fraternities and sororities in the National Pan-Hellenic Council, what they do. The impact they have on campus, in our community, in our state, and our nation. They contribute
Every day. They embody our core values every day. They embody the Aggie Spirit every day, and they represent our university in any remarkable way – virtually every single day. One of the most important things is having students, faculty, and staff come together. A lot of times when I speak, it’ll be
Primarily students. And you know, you kind of miss that. You can’t have a college without administration and students. To be able to have that come together – hear different perspective and for them the network share like they are now, I think it’s probably one of the most powerful things.
My goal since I got hired was to grow the community, and so I would like for us to be at every facet of Texas A&M. So I want us to be, you know, on SGA. I want us to be a major part of
Fish Camp. I want us to be part of Howdy tours. I want us to be on every, I guess, piece of our campus, to make sure that students know when they come here that they exist and that they can find their home away from home.
