First semester without everybody say alphas are known for being the nerves and smart and intelligent you know they go to class they study you know they day day day day day remix they always end up making the great they have the highest GPAs on campus within NPHC
So that’s what they’re known for and a lot of guys as we know that into the cell as far as being studious and scholarly end up joining Alpha Phi Alpha and you know the difficult that stereotype let’s get into UT Omega Omega you know everybody think ladies you know a low-key no girls

Really don’t have a purse a stereotype you know some people say we cool down to earth like we don’t have a stereotype it really depends on the chapter with signaling you know a lot of chapters do things differently like we don’t have a set in it you know we’re we’re known for
Being business in and so most have to shoot at like they’re in a business you know when they dress up a dress or suit and tie that power should be but tigress you know there’s cleaning towers here rugged the frequent chapters their nerves they come attack
Yeah this is type of tactic so we’re very diverse and one thing about doing if you think of math think about when you see a Sigma Chi on a math equation or just what does it signify in mathematics represent think about it one sec it represents the sum of all

Throughout the I out of that but I don’t see you legit stereotype for them either with these stereotypes with the stereotypes don’t come on to you like think about this people have to use assumptions man like yet the Capitals are known for you know being you wearing
Clean clothes but that doesn’t mean an alpha can’t do that they don’t mean Omega can’t investing or iota can’t do that tell me other chapters and other portunities can act like that you know alphas are known for being smart and intellect that don’t mean he reticulum has any smart intellectual brothers like
Do you not think about it that way like don’t put yourself in a box that you say you dress clean and you think you get all the girls and you dissing that and you think just because you do all that you belong in capital just cuz it’s
Derek right we doing it for the wrong reason so one join based on your values and what you think you could bring is just returning where the fraternity can bring to you and not the stereotype just because you’re smart you make good grades don’t mean you belong in alpha
They don’t that will mean that so don’t don’t think about these dear like don’t take these stereotypes no hearts I don’t dig deep into the stereotypes but these are things that people think people have assumptions people have their opinion like people know they all type of thing
Go to New York and you meet some people that know stimulus they might think something differently than when you go to say floors maybe some people that know some signals or say hey yeah East it was like this Annette you go along Vegas and meet some people that know
Some alphas they might say they done this for but no so stereotypes can be misleading and I don’t want you all to join fraternities because they’re stereotypes just because of this you know the opinions that other people don’t clear point to you so it’s good to listen to
Those things is good to know but also make sure to make sure you’re doing it for the right reasons they’re like these stereotypes is strictly both opinion so don’t be deep into the stereotypes because like these attorneys have all different types of images per chapter that’s it for this video make sure you
