What age is too old to pledge greek sorority or fraternity?

Hello youtubers it’s love um I’m here to you today to make a video about fraternities and sororities what age is considered too old or too young to be in a fraternity or a sorority honestly there’s a lot of people out there who have this question about what age is

Topic for my video today so I decided to make a video about it so um my main question is for those out there who have knowledge about this subject please subscribe please reply please put down your comments suggestions or some advice to people who may see this video and decide whether

Whether it should or shouldn’t or what they should do in order to become a sister or brother or a part of a fellowship or sorority or fraternity a lot of people have these questions about it because – I’m going to say to a quite a few of my friends who recently got out

Of the military are now um they were transferring out of a two-year college going to a four-year and it would like to pledge a fraternity sorority or some of them just left the military or and now are going to a four-year college and they’re going through the same thing I

Also have a few friends who just didn’t have the money didn’t have the money to finish school so they had to fall back for a minute and now they’re back and now they would like to you know go back finish their degree but also you know go

After the dreams of being a part of a fraternity or sorority so I believe me personally I believe that it depends on the type of person you are if you feel that you can pledge and be around people a little younger than you and still bond

That’s great I feel if you’re older and you feel that you can’t maybe you want to go Grand Chapter I’m just giving my my opinion because I’ve been to HBCU and I’ve been to a predominantly white college and I’ve been to a mixed college so I always tell people that I’m a very

Positive person I believe that you are who you are don’t make yourself believe that just because you’re a certain age you need to act a certain way and all aspects because everybody has a different view of how they feel about the situation because I have friends who

Are older women but if you look at them and you see the way they smile and they have fun in the club they’re single they’re doing their thing you would never know how old they are you know that they’re mature but you would never know how old they are they are so they

Can you know still do some of the things that these little 20 year olds are doing but do it in a more mature way so as far as this subject I don’t I’m still researching so be on the lookout for another video on this topic but um I

Just thought it was very interesting I was like wow I came up in my diversity class and I was like this is so cool I have to talk about it um I personally I’m a cheerleader when it comes down to route people or I’m not a cheerleader

But I root people on so if you feel you’re in your late 20s early 30s um and you feel you want to be a part of sorority fraternity go for it see what happens fulfill your dream especially military people I understand where you’re coming

From there’s a lot of stuff I want to do but people keep telling me oh you’re too old you should’ve did that when you were 18 or whatever and some of the stuff I’ve accomplished and I’ve mastered it to the point that I’m aware where I’m at

Is where some of the people who went before me are because I just had to work harder to get to where they’re at to get there you know at a certain age is one thing but to actually master your craft is another so go after your dreams join

Your eternity join a sorority pledge dude you have to do but I don’t have that much knowledge on it yet but I looked at the videos and read some articles and I’m just I think it’s such a good topic I just feel like what I could already

See myself doing multiple videos on this so um y’all have any questions or anything like that let me know but from what I looked up you can be it’s no age there’s no discrimination when it comes down to pledging you don’t have to be a certain age or a certain race I’ve

Actually researched there are women who are let’s just say of different nationalities who are in um black fraternities and sororities and I’ve seen myself um black or african-american Hispanic whatever pledge a predominately white sorority or Caucasian sorority so I don’t I wouldn’t even base it on age

But I don’t base it on race don’t base it on color creed none of that because a lot of them have a code that they go by and it’s definitely their majority of them that I’ve seen are against discrimination when it comes down to age and color creed religion all that kind

Of stuff so I tell everybody that do your research or whatever Greek or fraternity you want to go to and um do it fits you they’re going to be people out there who knock you down and tell you you can’t do it my friend wants to

Do it but you know what I tell her all the time you know if that’s what your heart tells you do it do it you’re in your early 30s mother friend is heathland he’s 29 do it and I one thing I also noticed I meant to bring this up

Is that I’ve noticed more men are so acceptable of having older men join their fraternity but women sororities that I’ve seen fill that oh my gosh she’s so oh you know I noticed that men are more accepting and some of the articles that I’ve written I mean I’ve read sorry so
