They chose friends and family but you’re the real talent don’t you ever for a second think or believe that because they did not pick you you somehow not good enough it has nothing to do with that your work is great you’re good but they have their friends they have their family
They have people in their Circle that they want to shine if they choose you The Gatekeepers that they are you will get all of the attention you will shine they think you will take away the shine of their friends of their family you will make all of the money
Not their friends and family their friends their family those in the circle are not better than you They’re getting ahead because of connections because of favoritism because of nepotism if it were a fair world you would be the one in that position you’d be the one with that job you would be the one to get that opportunity There you are producing great work you’re doing great things there you are with a great product a great service that product that service will help them move forward it will help them move to that next level it will help them achieve that thing they are trying to achieve
But they won’t put you in that spotlight because you are not in bed with them you do not drink with them you do not eat with them yes you are better by far yes you are super talented yes your work is better yes you are more skillful you have more Talent
All of that is a positive but the problem is they have nothing really to benefit in the short term in other words you are not like their friends and family you are not in that Circle you are separate they want their friends their family to do well and that is fine
Nothing wrong on one hand with them being in favor of their friends and family hmm but very often these people are in a position where they should not behave that way sometimes there in a governmental position where they have to share the pie with everybody where they are not supposed to be biased
Where they are not supposed to to show preference to anybody just because they are their friend or their family member conflict of interest I’m sure you’ve heard of conflict of interest and that is what is going on perhaps they should be removed from that position and let somebody who operates fairly
Be in charge you’re not jealous but you realize that you’re not being picked you’re wondering why am I not being picked I am here to remind you that very often it has nothing to do with you not being good enough and it has everything to do with they doing things
For those in the circle they’re doing things for their friends and family have you seen it some of you on the job you deserve that promotion but you will never get that promotion because that boss that supervisor has his or her friends but guess what it is what it is you’re not about
To cry over that yes you recognize the problem yes at first it feels bad hmm at first you will feel sad because you’re putting in so much work and not getting that recognition you deserve you’re working so much better look at your work it is so much better it is on
That high level look at what you’re providing it is on that high level but you’re not being picked so at first you won’t be celebrating you will feel sad but guess what you’re not about to stay there and let these people win if they don’t pick you’re fine you are gonna pick yourself
And very often when they don’t pick you you get new opportunities New Opportunities present themselves because when one door is closed many more are open so because they close their doors you will find bigger and better doors you will find bigger and better opportunities more expensive doors will be open to you
