We couldn’t do it without their help. W FM Y News 2’s free shred events go off without a hitch thanks to one group of volunteers, and they are celebrating their 100th anniversary. W FM Y News use Manning Franks has more on the major milestone for Greensboro’s chapter of Omega Sci-fi.
The week of June 12, June through June 18, a time was a recognition of the 100th celebration of Tau Omega Chapter. The Omega sci-fi fraternity incorporated 100 years, that’s how long the tower will make a chapter has been serving the City of Greensboro and all across the Triad. This Centennial year of Talladega
Is a celebration for us, but it’s a celebration for the City of Greensboro. Just last week, Greensboro City Council recognized the black fraternity for its continued service to the community. Which ranges from feeding the homeless to assisting W FM Y News Two in the Shredder phone. My brothers and I have
Continuously experienced this recharging. As we go out and do the work that it is that we do in our community, President of the chapter Wilson Lester has seen the good that their band of brothers has done for their community in the greater Greensboro area. And that is what moves them forward.
To walk through a neighborhood for voter registration and mobilization and people recognizing those colors and those letters across our chest when they see us. We know that somebody like us has been there before and we represent them too, and that those people are excited. To see us and know that
We’re there for good and not harm. Lester is of course proud of the work that his fraternity has accomplished, but that won’t slow them down. Our hope is that the work that we do speaks for us. And that’s the charge to keep, we have. In honor of this momentous occasion,
Tao Omega has events lined up all week. You can check out our list of the events on our website at W FM Y News two.com.
