UGA Miracle, the University of Georgia’s largest student-run philanthropy, completed its biggest fall fundraising campaign of the year, Beyond Limits, raising a remarkable $210,114 to benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Thanks to the efforts of UGA Miracle members, dedicated student volunteers, and a generous Bulldog community, the organization made a powerful impact on behalf of families and children facing pediatric health challenges.
A highlight of this campaign season was the UGA Men’s Basketball Game on October 29, where UGA Miracle was honored to share its mission with game attendees. During halftime, the Moody family, one of UGA Miracle’s Miracle families, took center stage to share their powerful story of resilience and hope, inspiring the audience with the impact that Children’s care has had on their lives. The Moodys’ story exemplifies the mission of UGA Miracle, which is to make a difference for children and families receiving life-saving care at Children’s.
The funds raised this fall will go directly to supporting initiatives at Children’s, including patient care, research, and family support resources, providing a lifeline for countless families. With these funds, UGA Miracle reinforces its commitment to supporting every child who needs medical assistance and contributing to a healthier future for our community.
As UGA Miracle gears up for Dance Marathon 2025, its largest event of the year, the organization is grateful for the continued support of the university and Athens communities. Scheduled for March, Dance Marathon will bring together thousands for 13 hours of dancing, celebration, and hope, all in support of children’s healthcare.
