Interested in it so I called my parents up and I told my parents hey mom dad there’s something that I want to tell you I am going to join a paternity organization and of like that were like what wait a minute before you’d said you could pregame card you’re not gonna be
Part of these organizations no I don’t think you should do this now I’m like not working I know that I said I was an anti fraud I didn’t want to do this but you know what I built a relationship with these to this organization you know
Five or six mom and I I feel comfortable around them they’re cool with me and this is my decision you know I’m off on my own now I’m a young man and this is what I’m gonna do and I had a close relationship with my mother and my father you know
They raced me you know in a Christian home at the same time they were like I had to make my decision but at the same time they were like no no don’t do this go to school go back home and have on your life and there was a battle there
Too a battle there too but it was more of a pride thing too because I just didn’t wanted to sit back and say well not let me do anything let me just go to school or not let me get involved with anything but it was something different
It was a curiosity it was something that um that I was I was intending to do because I wanted to do something different I wanted to be in an organization having the mindset to say okay I can change this organization he won’t change me you know because it was taught
I was told to me it was it was told to me and it was taught to me in a way where okay I’m not gonna sting bother I Know Who I am you know so I just went out and went on went to my mother father
And they got a little bit disturbed by it you know and all school I’m Haitian descent you know when you have you know parents who are from the islands you know they don’t know too much about certain things that going here in America but my dad hadn’t had an idea about it
But he told me I had a friend they always have a friend I had a friend who was in his son passed away because they did this they haze and they be and they slept and they did all these things and I don’t want to happen to you and I told
Myself okay well it won’t happen to me you know before I went through the process but um how did I have but you know they were upset and what still held my ground I held my ground and I went through it so the psychological effects
Do you think came about as a result of a pledge process Oh fear that came in a little depression because I went through something that was not in my heart Kim coming out and saying what did I did what did I do you know or how’s everybody gonna see me very self-conscious
When you go through the pleasant process you won’t forget it you won’t forget it because you it’s like it’s like a child who’s been beaten by their parent you know or physically abused with a parent and it’s psychologically stays in your mind after a while after I went on out of it you
Know it didn’t I didn’t have any any cold sweats or dreams I just was by myself you understand but psychologically when I went through it it was like a lot of fear I’m not a pressure I’m saying a lot of okay how am
I gonna get is you know or if I get out I’m gonna be looked at as someone who’s only pumped out or if I do stay in you know I’m gonna get threatened if I do try to get it’s like a but it’s like you’re being pulled left to right you
Don’t know what to do so so a little bit more about the experience in the book you relate an instance when the gentleman that that got you curious enough to want to join right and they took you over his house right it’s a little bit more about that well we were
We were he came over and he told me he goes are you ready can I said ready for what if I if I tell you if I want if I tell you that I want you to join my fraternity what would you say would you
Do a company call but this has been a while back I had my book he was would you be ready I said well yeah I’ll be ready he goes do you want to do you want to pledge my fraternity I said oh yeah when I put your fraternity that we would
He took me in his car uses of it come on he took me in his car we drove right and then he kind of tested me he sped up and he says and he looked at me back and forth you know do you want to take my fraternity and I’m like wondering okay
And my boy are you gonna take me now he’s gonna take me down and I said yeah you know he kind of got me height that when we got to his house we stopped and he just said to me again and he looked at me he says I’m gonna
Ask you one more time it was do you want to pledge my fraternity I said he goes I want to get your consent I said yes I’m ready but as I came out the car and walked before I got into the door I went through the door I was thinking in my
Mind what a heck am i doing you know what’s going on here you know what this decision that I just make here you know but I went through it when I got when I opened the door was open I saw at least like eight brothers who were pledging on one side and then
The fraternity brothers on the other and the word there were there was a couch they were parallel to each other and in the frat brothers on one side and then the ones who were pledged one on the side and I came in late I was the last
One and then I just stood there and I said I said my name is Ginji so what’s up I was kind of like I had this boldness in me to say this because I’m like okay I’m innocent I mean just say what I got to say you know but I look at
The fool because I’m like okay one of my do I even know these guys and yeah I’ve been around them but you know wasn’t came to me as head and sit down I didn’t sit down and they came to me again sit down I didn’t sit down and they came
To my face okay sit down and they they sat me down but it was an experience that I said okay how long was your process Wow the process was working good I think for good six months six months six months I believe it was six months well it could
Be a little bit longer than that but it was it was quite it could have been I say about four to six months they’re having to follow Jesus I pray that you speak to my mind body so instead this is not mean this is you follow Jesus there are people out there
Who are going through a lot of young people who are who are pledging Lord Jesus or we’re going to university thinks about pledging or thinks about I’m doing something on campus though Jesus let us pray that you open their minds their hearts and their souls oh
Jesus to make sure that maybe they make the right decision or Jesus to look in depth of these organizations and see for what it is for Jesus father you give us a choice but you just hope that we make the right choice to serve you follow
Jesus I pray for all those who are wanting to pledge wanting to be in the organization but I also pray that they look into this organization but they’re pledging because Lord Jesus the devil is a deceiver he would do anything possible to grab your kids to grab your child for
Jesus and bring them into an entity that they don’t even know but father Lord Jesus I just pray that you speak to them and his pray that you protect him I pray that this video Lord Jesus will show them know Jesus what the real deal
Is out there when I go to college though Jesus this has not the deal with just going to college father but it can be any place because the main thing that they need to do father oh Jesus and I know it shows it in your word in Ephesians six that we wrestle against
The wrestle not against flesh and blood but in principalities in high places and the devil has his principalities stationed all over the world even in the universities with Jesus cover them father Lord Jesus protect them open their eyes go Jesus because you’ve given them a choice that you serve you or not
I pray that you give them the sight though Jesus I played that pray Luigi so that their spirit your spirit is within them know Jesus so you can thirty today you can guide them to go in the right path so when they find the right path
Lord Jesus they can find out who you are they can find out what their destiny is and whether you where you want to take them in your life so they know that they have purpose when they open their life to you except you as your personal statement thank you for
